| 2 | RESIDENTS' ATTITUDES TO TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN ANCIENT VILLAGE RESORTS——Case Study of World Cultural Heritage of Xidi and Hong Villages显示文摘Tourism development surely has social, economic and environmental impacts on tourist destinations.The study on resorts residents' attitudes can help understand the nature of tourism development and the extent to which it may influence on tourist destinations. By now, researches on residents' perception and attitudes are plenteous in the international circle and achievements are great, yet few are found in developing countries. As a most representative cultural tourist destination, World Cultural Heritage-Xidi and Hong villages in Yi County of Anhui Province, are drawing the attention of both tourists and academic circles. This article, taking Xidi and Hong villages as examples, seeks to analyze ancient village residents' attitudes towards tourism impacts and then tries further to explore the connection between tourism development and residents' attitudes. Both qualitative and quantitative surveys are applied in the exploratory investigation into local residents' attitudes of tourism impacts. Based on abundant face-to-face interviews with the local households, tourism enterprises concerned, local government and tourists from July to August of 2002, we are able to have a better understanding of local residents' attitudes to community life, and perception of tourism impacts on society, economy and environment. | 3 | Characterization of mechanochemical treated fly ash from a medical waste incinerator显示文摘The mechanochemical treatment of fly ash generated from a medical waste incinerator was subjected to grinding for 2 hr at 400 r/min in a planetary ball mill.The treated fly ash was characterized by a suite of analytical methods including High Resolution Gas Chromatograph/High Resolution Mass Spectrometer,Mastersizer 2000 Particle Size Analyzer,QUADRASORBTM SI Surface Area Analyzer,Scanning Electron Microscopy and X-ray diffraction.Results showed that abatement effciency of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans(PCDDs/Fs) in terms of total concentration averagely amount to 76%which was relatively higher than that of I-TEQ concentration averagely amount to 56%;the most concentration of toxic congeners as well as isomers of PCDDs/Fs decreased after mechanochemical treatment.The treated fly ash was characterized by a more homogeneous distribution of concaves as well as the significant decreasing in overall particle size and great enlargement in surface area.The major crystallization phases or intensities were considerably changed by mechanochemical treatment,of which a new phase containing chlorine formed may be a possible factor suggesting chlorination reaction occurring on the crystalline surface. | Zheng Peng Qiong Ding Yangzhao Sun Chen Jiang Xinhua Gao Jianhua Yan | 2010 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,10: | 7 |

| 15 | Impact of China’s high speed train window glass on GNSS signals and positioning performance显示文摘High speed train(HST)is an excellent platform to perform ultra-high spatial and temporal resolution observations of atmosphere using global navigation satellite systems(GNSS).However,we find that signal attenuation caused by HST window glass is a major barrier for HST-based GNSS applications inside HST chambers.A field experiment is conducted to analyze the effect of HST glass on GNSS signal propagation.In the experiment,GNSS observations are collected and analyzed from a receiver covered with an HST window glass and one with an open-sky view.The size of the HST window glass is 670 mm×720 mm,with a thickness of 34 mm.The window glass is a double-glazing glass in which each layer has an actual thickness of 6 mm,and the two layers are separated by an air gap of 22 mm.The experiment results indicate that HST window glass can cause significant degradation to GNSS signals and even loss of tracking of the signal.Based on statistical results,HST window glass causes 39%,56%,49%,and 59%loss in GPS,GLONASS,Galileo,and BDS signals,respectively.Additionally,up to 20 dB-Hz of carrier-to-noise ratio(C/N0)degradation is also observed in the remaining observations.The significant signal attenuation and loss further lead to the decrease in the number of tracked satellites and occurrence of more cycle slips.The results of the study indicate that 44-230 cycle slips are detected for the HST glass-covered receiver whereas the receiver without glass does not exhibit more than 16 cycle slips.Additionally,the number of GNSS satellites tracked by the HST glass-covered receiver is reduced by 65%owing to the loss of signal.Furthermore,GNSS positioning performances from two receivers are also tested.With respect to GPS+GLONASS static precise point positioning(PPP),HST glass causes a degradation of 1.516 m and 1.159 m in the single-frequency and dual-frequency three-dimensional positioning accuracy,respectively.With respect to the GPS+GLONASS kinematic PPP,the accuracy degradations for single-frequency and dual-frequency kinematic PPP are 2.670 m and 4.821 m,respectively. | Zhizhao Liu Yangzhao Gong Letao Zhou | 2020 | Satellite Navigation2020,1,1: | 1 |
| 16 | Future Event Prediction Based on Temporal Knowledge Graph Embedding显示文摘Accurate prediction of future events brings great benefits and reduces losses for society in many domains,such as civil unrest,pandemics,and crimes.Knowledge graph is a general language for describing and modeling complex systems.Different types of events continually occur,which are often related to historical and concurrent events.In this paper,we formalize the future event prediction as a temporal knowledge graph reasoning problem.Most existing studies either conduct reasoning on static knowledge graphs or assume knowledges graphs of all timestamps are available during the training process.As a result,they cannot effectively reason over temporal knowledge graphs and predict events happening in the future.To address this problem,some recent works learn to infer future events based on historical eventbased temporal knowledge graphs.However,these methods do not comprehensively consider the latent patterns and influences behind historical events and concurrent events simultaneously.This paper proposes a new graph representation learning model,namely Recurrent Event Graph ATtention Network(RE-GAT),based on a novel historical and concurrent events attention-aware mechanism by modeling the event knowledge graph sequence recurrently.More specifically,our RE-GAT uses an attention-based historical events embedding module to encode past events,and employs an attention-based concurrent events embedding module to model the associations of events at the same timestamp.A translation-based decoder module and a learning objective are developed to optimize the embeddings of entities and relations.We evaluate our proposed method on four benchmark datasets.Extensive experimental results demonstrate the superiority of our RE-GAT model comparing to various base-lines,which proves that our method can more accurately predict what events are going to happen. | Zhipeng Li Shanshan Feng Jun Shi Yang Zhou Yong Liao Yangzhao Yang Yangyang Li Nenghai Yu Xun Shao | 2023 | Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,44,3: | 1 |
