| 3 | 2013年芦山地震序列震源机制与震源区构造变形特征分析显示文摘基于四川区域地震台网记录的波形资料,利用CAP波形反演方法,同时获取了2013年4月20日芦山M7.0级地震序列中88个M≥3.0级地震的震源机制解、震源矩心深度与矩震级,进而利用应变花(strain rosette)和面应变(areal strain)As值,分析了芦山地震序列震源机制和震源区构造运动与变形特征.获得的主要结果有:(1)芦山M7.0级主震破裂面参数为走向219°/倾角43°/滑动角101°,矩震级为MW6.55,震源矩心深度15km.芦山地震余震区沿龙门山断裂带走向长约37km、垂直断裂带走向宽约16km.主震两侧余震呈不对称分布,主震南西侧余震区长约27km、北东侧长约10km.余震分布在7~22km深度区间,优势分布深度为9~14km,序列平均深度约13km,多数余震分布在主震上部.粗略估计的芦山地震震源体体积为37km×16km×16km.(2)面应变As值统计显示,芦山地震序列以逆冲型地震占绝对优势,所占比例超过93%.序列主要受倾向NW、倾角约45°的近NESW向逆冲断层控制;部分余震发生在与上述主发震断层近乎垂直的倾向SE的反冲断层上;龙门山断裂带前山断裂可能参与了部分余震活动.P轴近水平且优势方位单一,呈NW-SE向,与龙门山断裂带南段所处区域构造应力场方向一致,反映芦山地震震源区主要受区域构造应力场控制,芦山地震是近NE-SW向断层在近水平的NW-SE向主压应力挤压作用下发生逆冲运动的结果.序列中6次非逆冲型地震均发生在主震震中附近,且主震震中附近P轴仰角变化明显,表明主震对其震中附近局部区域存在明显的应力扰动.(3)序列整体及不同震级段的应变花均呈NW向挤压白瓣形态,显示芦山地震震源区深部构造呈逆冲运动、NW向纯挤压变形.各震级段的应变花方位与形状一致,具有震级自相似性特征,揭示震源区深部构造运动和变形模式与震级无关.(4)不同深度的应变花形态以NW-NWW向挤压白瓣为优势,显示震源区构造无论是总体还是分段均以NW-NWW向挤压变形为特征.但应变花方位与形状随深度仍具有较明显的变化,可能反映了震源区构造变形在深度方向上存在分段差异.(5)芦山地震震源体尺度较小,且主震未发生在龙门山断裂带南段主干断裂上,南段长期积累的应变能未能得到充分释放,南段仍存在发生强震的危险. | 易桂喜 龙锋 Amaury Vallage Yann Klinger 梁明剑 王思维 | 2016 | 地球物理学报2016,59,10: | 46 |
| 4 | Changes in reproductive investment with altitude in an alpine plant显示文摘Aims In perennial species,the allocation of resources to reproduction results in a reduction of allocation to vegetative growth and,therefore,impacts future reproductive success.As a consequence,variation in this trade-off is among the most important driving forces in the life-history evolution of perennial plants and can lead to locally adapted genotypes.In addition to genetic variation,phenotypic plasticity might also contribute to local adaptation of plants to local conditions by mediating changes in reproductive allocation.Knowledge on the importance of genetic and environmental effects on the tradeoff between reproduction and vegetative growth is therefore essential to understand how plants may respond to environmental changes.Methods We conducted a transplant experiment along an altitudinal gradient from 425to1921 min the frontrange of the Western Alps of Switzerland to assess the influence of both altitudinal origin of populations and altitude of growing site on growth,reproductive investment and local adaptation in Poa alpina.Important findings In our study,the investment in reproduction increased with plant size.Plant growth and the relative importance of reproductive investment decreased in populations originating from higher altitudes compared to populations originating from lower altitudes.The changes in reproductive investment were mainly explained by differences in plant size.In contrast to genetic effects,phenotypic plasticity of all traits measured was low and not related to altitude.As a result,the population from the lowest altitude of origin performed best at all sites.Our results indicate that in P.alpina genetic differences in growth and reproductive investment are related to local conditions affecting growth,i.e.interspecific competition and soil moisture content. | Yann Hautier Christophe F.Randin Jurg Stocklin Antoine Guisan | 2009 | Journal of Plant Ecology2009,2,3: | 17 |
| 5 | Rupture behavior and deformation localization of the Kunlunshan earthquake (M_w7.8) and their tectonic implications显示文摘Earthquake surface rupture is the result of transformation from crustal elastic strain accumulation to permanent tectonic deformation. The surface rupture zone produced by the 2001 Kunlunshan earth- quake (Mw7.8) on the Kusaihu segment of the Kunlun fault extends over 426 km. It consists of three relatively independent surface rupture sections: the western strike-slip section, the middle transten- sional section and the eastern strike-slip section. Hence this implies that the Kunlunshan earthquake is composed of three earthquake rupturing events, i.e. the Mw=6.8, Mw=6.2 and Mw≤7.8 events, respec- tively. The Mw≤7.8 earthquake, along the eastern section, is the main shock of the Kunlunshan earth- quake, further decomposed into four rupturing subevents. Field measurements indicate that the width of a single surface break on different sections ranges from several meters to 15 m, with a maximum value of less than 30 m. The width of the surface rupture zone that consists of en echelon breaks de- pends on its geometric structures, especially the stepover width of the secondary surface rupture zones in en echelon, displaying a basic feature of deformation localization. Consistency between the Quaternary geologic slip rate, the GPS-monitored strain rate and the localization of the surface rup- tures of the 2001 Kunlunshan earthquake may indicate that the tectonic deformation between the Ba- yan Har block and Qilian-Qaidam block in the northern Tibetan Plateau is characterized by strike-slip faulting along the limited width of the Kunlun fault, while the blocks themselves on both sides of the Kunlun fault are characterized by block motion. | 10 | Retinal vessel oxygen saturation in healthy subjects and early branch retinal vein occlusion显示文摘AIM: To measure the retinal oxygen saturation in healthy subjects and early branch retinal vein occlusion(BRVO) in Chinese population.METHODS: The retinal vessel oxygen saturation of the healthy subjects and BRVO patients were measured by a noninvasive retinal oximeter(Oxymap ehf.,Reykjavik,Iceland).RESULTS: The study included 22 patients with unilateral BRVO(mean age: 55.1±8.8y) in the study group and 91 healthy participants(mean age: 37.5±14.0y) in the control group.In the healthy individuals,mean arterial and venous oxygen saturation were significantly(P<0.001)higher in the superior nasal quadrant(98.5%±10.1%and 57.3%±8.7%,respectively) than in the inferior nasal quadrant(94.2%±9.0% and 54.1%±9.6%,respectively),followed by the superior temporal quadrant(89.1%±10.1%and 51.9%±8.9%,respectively) and the inferior temporal quadrant(86.4%±9.4% and 46.6%±9.6%,respectively).In patients with ischemic BRVO,arterial oxymetric values were significantly higher and venous measurements significantly lower for the affected vessel(107.5%±9.7% and46.4%±14.2%,respectively) than the unaffected vessel in the same eye(99.2%±12.2% and 55.5%±7.9%,respectively)and as compared to the vessel in the unaffected fellow eye(93.1%±6.9% and 55.7%±6.8%)(P=0.005 and P=0.02,respectively).In the patients with non-ischemic BRVO,mean venous oxygen saturation was lower in the affected vein(39.8%±12.2%) than in the unaffected vessels of the same eye(50.8%±10.5%) and in the fellow eye(58.21%±5.7%)(P=0.03).Mean arterial oxygen saturation did not differ significantly(P=0.42) between all three groups.CONCLUSION: In patients with BRVO,the venous oxygen saturation in the affected vessels is decreased potentially due to decreased blood velocity and flow.Interestingly,thearterial oxygen saturation in eyes with ischemic BRVO is increased in the affected arteries. | Jing-Yan Yang Bing You Qian Wang Szy Yann Chan Jost B.Jonas Wen-Bin Wei | 2017 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2017,10,2: | 8 |

| 15 | Seismotectonics of the 2008 and 2009 Qaidam Earthquakes and its Implication for Regional Tectonics显示文摘Three magnitude >6 earthquakes struck Qaidam, Qinghai province, China, in November 10th 2008, August 28th and 31st 2009 respectively. The Zongwulongshan fault has often been designated as the active seismogenic structure, although it is at odd with the data. Our continuous GPS station (CGPS), the Xiao Qaidam station, located in the north of the Qaidam basin, is less than 30 km to the southwest of the 2008 earthquake. This CGPS station recorded the near field co-seismic deformation. Here we analyzed the co-seismic dislocation based on the GPS time series and the rupture processes from focal mechanism for the three earthquakes. The aftershocks were relocated to constrain the spatial characteristics of the 2008 and 2009 Qaidam earthquakes. Field geological and geomorphological investigation and interpretation of satellite images show that the Xitieshan fault and Zongwulongshan fault were activated as left lateral thrust during the late Quaternary. Evidence of folding can also be identified. Integrated analyses based on our data and the regional tectonic environment show that the Xitieshan fault is the fault responsible for the 2008 Qaidam earthquake, which is a low dip angle thrust with left lateral strike slip. The Zongwulongshan fault is the seismogenic fault of the 2009 earthquakes, which is a south dipping back thrust of the northern marginal thrust system of the Qaidam basin. Folding takes a significant part of the deformation in the northern marginal thrust system of the Qaidam basin, dominating the contemporary structure style of the northern margin of the Qaidam basin and Qilianshan tectonic system. | 19 | Resource economics and coordination among above- and below-ground functional traits of three dominant shrubs from the Chilean coastal desert显示文摘Aims Plant functional traits determine how plants respond to environmen-tal factors and influence ecosystem processes.Among them,root traits and analyses of relations between above and below-ground traits in natural communities are scarce.Methods we characterized a set of above-and below-ground traits of three dominant shrub species in a semiarid shrub-steppe that had contrasting leaf pheno-logical habits(deciduous,semideciduous and evergreen).We ana-lysed if there was coordination among above-and below-ground resource economics patterns:i.e.patterns of biomass allocation,construction costs and lifespan.Important Findings Above-and below-ground traits and their resource economics relations pointed to species-specific functional strategies to cope with drought and poor soils and to a species ranking of fast to slow whole-plant strategies in terms of resource uptake,biomass con-struction costs and turnover.The deciduous shrub,Proustia cunei-folia,had relatively deep and even distribution of roots,and high proportion of short-lived tissues of low C construction costs:it had high fine to coarse root and high leaf-to-stem biomass ratios,high specific leaf area(SLA),and stems of low wood density.This strat-egy allows Proustia to maximize and coordinate above-and below-ground resources uptake as long as the most limiting factor(water)is available,but at the cost of having relative high plant biomass turnover.The evergreen Porlieria chilensis,instead,displayed a more conservative and slow strategy in terms of resource econom-ics.It had~80%of the roots in the 40 cm topsoil profile,low pro-portion of fine compared with coarse roots and low leaf-to-stem ratios,low SLA and stems of high wood density,i.e.it invested in C costly tissues that,overall,persist longer but probably at the cost of having lower plant resource uptake rates.Traits in the semide-ciduous Adesmia bedwellii were in between these two functional extremes.Our results revealed high functional diversity and above-and below-ground complementarity in resource economics among these three codominant species in the Chilean coastal desert. | Joaquín Morales Francisco A.Squeo Yann Tracol Cristina Armas Julio R.Gutiérrez | 2015 | Journal of Plant Ecology2015,8,1: | 3 |
| 20 | Idarubicin vs doxorubicin in transarterial chemoembolization of intermediate stage hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘BACKGROUND Liver cancer is the fifth most common cancer and the second cause of cancerrelated deaths worldwide.Transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)is the best treatment of intermediate hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Doxorubicin is the most commonly used drug despite a low level of evidence.AIM To compare the objective response rate of idarubicin-based TACE(Ida-TACE)against doxorubicin-based TACE(Dox-TACE)in intermediate stage HCC.METHODS Between January 2012 and December 2014,all patients treated with TACE at our academic hospital were screened.Inclusion criteria were patients with Child-Pugh score A or B,a performance status below or equal to 1,and no prior TACE.Either lipiodol TACE or drug-eluting beads TACE could be performed with 10 mg of idarubicin or 50 mg of doxorubicin.Each patient treated with idarubicin was matched with two doxorubicin-treated patients.The TACE response was assessed by independent radiologists according to the mRECIST criteria.RESULTS Sixty patients were treated with doxorubicin and thirty with idarubicin.There were 93%and 87%of cirrhotic patients and 87%and 70%of Child-Pugh A in the doxorubicin and idarubicin groups,respectively.The median number of HCC per patient was two in both groups with 31%and 26%of single nodules in doxorubicin and idarubicin groups,respectively.Objective response rate after first TACE was 76.7%and 73.3%(P=0.797)with 41.7%and 40.0%complete response in doxorubicin and idarubicin groups,respectively.Progression-free survival was 7.7 mo in both groups,and liver transplant-free survival was 24.9 mo and 21.9 mo in doxorubicin and idarubicin groups,respectively.Safety profiles were similar in both groups,with grade 3-4 adverse events in 35%of Dox-TACE and 43%of Ida-TACEs.CONCLUSION Ida-TACE and Dox-TACE showed comparable results in terms of efficacy and safety.Ida-TACE may represent an interesting alternative to Dox-TACE in the management of patients with intermediate stage HCC. | Gael Stephane Roth Yann Teyssier Melodie Abousalihac Arnaud Seigneurin Julien Ghelfi Christian Sengel Thomas Decaens | 2020 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2020,26,3: | 3 |
