| 2 | Price-Based Residential Demand Response Management in Smart Grids:A Reinforcement Learning-Based Approach显示文摘This paper studies price-based residential demand response management(PB-RDRM)in smart grids,in which non-dispatchable and dispatchable loads(including general loads and plug-in electric vehicles(PEVs))are both involved. The PB-RDRM is composed of a bi-level optimization problem,in which the upper-level dynamic retail pricing problem aims to maximize the profit of a utility company(UC)by selecting optimal retail prices(RPs),while the lower-level demand response(DR)problem expects to minimize the comprehensive cost of loads by coordinating their energy consumption behavior. The challenges here are mainly two-fold:1)the uncertainty of energy consumption and RPs;2)the flexible PEVs’temporally coupled constraints, which make it impossible to directly develop a model-based optimization algorithm to solve the PB-RDRM.To address these challenges,we first model the dynamic retail pricing problem as a Markovian decision process(MDP),and then employ a model-free reinforcement learning(RL)algorithm to learn the optimal dynamic RPs of UC according to the loads’responses. Our proposed RL-based DR algorithm is benchmarked against two model-based optimization approaches(i.e.,distributed dual decomposition-based(DDB)method and distributed primal-dual interior(PDI)-based method),which require exact load and electricity price models. The comparison results show that, compared with the benchmark solutions, our proposed algorithm can not only adaptively decide the RPs through on-line learning processes, but also achieve larger social welfare within an unknown electricity market environment. | Yanni Wan Jiahu Qin Xinghuo Yu Tao Yang Yu Kang | 2022 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2022,9,1: | 1 |
| 3 | Enhanced inhibition of talc flotation using acidified sodium silicate and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose as the combined inhibitor显示文摘The flotation separation of chalcopyrite and talc is challenging due to their similar natural floatability characteristics.Besides,it is usually difficult to effectively inhibit talc by adding sodium carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC)alone during chalcopyrite flotation. Here,a combined inhibitor comprising acidified sodium silicate(ASS)and CMC was employed to realize effective flotation separation of chalcopyrite and talc, and the combined inhibition mechanism was further investigated.Microflotation results showed that adding ASS strengthened the inhibitory effect of CMC on talc and improved the separation of chalcopyrite and talc. The zeta potential,Fourier transform infrared, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis indicated that CMC was mainly adsorbed on the talc surface via hydroxyl and carboxyl groups. Moreover, the addition of ASS improved the adsorption of carboxyl groups.Furthermore, the adsorption experiments and apparent viscosity measurements revealed that adding ASS dispersed the pulp well, which reduced the apparent viscosity, improved the adsorption amount of CMC on the talc surface, and enhanced the inhibition of talc in chalcopyrite flotation. | Jiwei Xue Huazhen Tu Jin Shi Yanni An He Wan Xianzhong Bu | 2023 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,7: | 1 |
| 4 | Safety and efficacy of Tongkuaixiao ointment in reliving cancer-induced pain: a multicenter double-blind placebo-controlled randomized trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of Tongkuaixiao ointment(TKXO) in treating moderate-to-severe cancer induced somatalgia.METHODS: Totally 130 patients with moderateto-severe cancer induced somatalgia were randomly divided into a TKXO group and a control group. The patients were treated with either TKXO applied externally or placebo, with opioid analgesics orally at the same time. Observation parameters were included numerical rating scale(NRS) scores, analgesic efficacy, initiation effective time, persistent analgesic time, equivalent morphine dose,National Comprehensive Cancer Network(NCCN)grade in Impact of Pain Measurement Scores, and safety and satisfaction extent investigation.RESULTS: NRS scores and NCCN grade in Impact of Pain Measurement Scores decreased significantly after 5-days' treatment in the two groups(P <0.0001). Compared to the control group, initiation effective time was significantly shorter(P < 0.05)and persistent analgesic time was significantly longer(P < 0.01), equivalent oral morphine doses of the first day and the whole treatment course were significantly decreased in the TKXO treatment group(P < 0.01 or P < 0.05). No obvious adverse effects were found in the TKXO group.CONCLUSION: TKXO combined with opioid analgesics possesses the advantages of high efficacy, fast action, long persistent action, safety and convenience in use, and it can reduce the dose of opioid. | Tan Huangying Zhu Shijie Li Tong Feng Li Zhang Xia Li Yuan Lou Yanni Liu Meng Wan Donggui Li Peiwen Jia Liqun Deng Bo | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,6: | 0 |
| 5 | Efficacy of Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)on gut mircobiota in mice with autoimmune encephalomyelitis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To learn the mechanisms between gut microbiome and the autoimmunity benefits on Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)in central nervous system(CNS),we investigated the neuro-protection effects and gut mircobiota changes of Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)on experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE),an animal model of multiple sclerosis(MS).METHODS:Mice were randomly divided into four groups:EAE mice(control phosphate-buffered saline group),50 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)-treated EAE mice,100 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)-treated EAE mice, and 200 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)-treated EAE mice. The spinal cords were stained with hematoxylin and eosin(HE)and luxol fast blue for evaluating inflammatory infiltration and demyelination. The percentages of granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor(GM-CSF)+CD4+,interleukin 17(IL-17)+CD4+,Foxp3 CD4+,and interferon-γ(IFN-γ)+CD4+T cells in the inguinal lymph nodes(LNs)and brain were determined by flow cytometry analysis.16S rRNA gene sequencing was employed to analyze the changes in gut microbiota.RESULTS:We found that Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)alleviated the disease severity and neuropathology of EAE as evaluated by clinical and histopathologyical scores.Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)increased the diversity and abundance of the gut microbiota, and decreased Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes ratio(F/B ratio).Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)also decreased the concentrations of IL-10,and IL-21 and increase the levels of GM-CSF,IL-17A,IL-17F and IL-22 in serum of EAE mice. Moreover,Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)modulated the T cell responses by inhibiting Th17 cells and restoring Treg cells in the small intestine lymphoid tissues and inguinal lymph nodes.Microbiota-depleted mice receiving Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)-treated fecal microbiota transplantation had lower disease severity, neuropathology scores and alleviation of Th17/Treg imbalance compared to ad libitum group.CONCLUSIONS:Our findings suggested that the vital neuro-protection role of Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori)(TCM)in immunomodulation effects partly by regulations of gut microbiome. | ZHOU Jun WANG Junhua LI Xiaobing WAN Chenyi LI Fangjun LüYanni CHEN Hao SUN Meiying | 2023 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,4: | 0 |
