1Preliminary estimation of the organic carbon pool in China's wetlands显示文摘Accurate estimation of wetland carbon pools is a prerequisite for wetland resource conservation and implementation of carbon sink enhancement plans.The inventory approach is a realistic method for estimating the organic carbon pool in China's wetlands at the national scale.An updated data and inventory approach were used to estimate the amount of organic carbon stored in China's wetlands.Primary results are as follows:(1) the organic carbon pool of China's wetlands is between 5.39 and 7.25 Pg,accounting for 1.3%-3.5% of the global level;(2) the estimated values and percentages of the organic carbon contained in the soil,water and vegetation pools in China's wetlands are 5.04-6.19 Pg and 85.4%-93.5%,0.22-0.56 Pg and 4.1%-7.7%,0.13-0.50 Pg and 2.4%-6.9%,respectively.The soil organic carbon pool of China's wetlands is greater than our previous estimate of 3.67 Pg,but is lower than other previous estimates of 12.20 and 8-10 Pg.Based on the discussion and uncertainty analysis,some research areas worthy of future attention are presented.ZHENG YaoMin NIU ZhenGuo GONG Peng DAI YongJiu SHANGGUAN Wei 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,6:13
2Anomalous phonon softening in the topological insulator Sn-doped Bi1.1Sb0.9Te2S显示文摘Investigations into the phonon behavior provide important information on interactions between different excitations in quantum materials.We perform a detailed study of the phonon behavior in the topological insulator Sn-doped Bi1.1Sb0.9Te2S using infrared spectroscopy.We observe two IR-active phonon modes at about 64 and 165 cm^1,which are labeled withαandβ,respectively.While the evolution of theβmode with temperature can be well described by the expected anharmonic decay process,theαmode shifts to lower frequencies with decreasing temperature.Such an anomalous softening of theαmode may arise from the charged-phonon effect due to the coupling between this mode and the topological surface states in Sn-doped Bi1.1Sb0.9Te2S.BoWen Li WenChao Jiang GuanYu Chen Ying Xiang Wei Xie YaoMin Dai XiYu Zhu Huan Yang Hai-Hu Wen 2020Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,11:1

4Analysis of Protein Characteristics of Selenite Transporter OsPT2 in Rice显示文摘OsPT2,which is a selenite transporter in rice,belongs to rice phosphate transporter family OsPT. In this study,the amino acid sequence information of OsPT family members was collected using NCBI database. Bioinformatics method was employed to analyze physical and chemical properties and protein structure of OsPT2 and its homologous relationship with other members of the family. The results indicated that OsPT2 was a stable alkaline hydrophobic protein embedded in the cell membrane. The protein contained 11 transmembrane domains,and consisted of 45. 08% of alpha helix,16. 48% of extended strand,10. 80% of beta turn and 27. 65% of random coil,forming a barrel-like three-dimensional structure. Members in OsPT family had high homology and could be divided into 5 subgroups.OsP T2 had closer relationship with OsPT1 and OsPT3. 5Tunable optical topological transitions of plasmon polaritons in WTe_(2) van der Waals films显示文摘Naturally existing in-plane hyperbolic polaritons and the associated optical topological transitions,which avoid the nano-structuring to achieve hyperbolicity,can outperform their counterparts in artificial metasurfaces.Such plasmon polaritons are rare,but experimentally revealed recently in WTe_(2)van der Waals thin films.Different from phonon polaritons,hyperbolic plasmon polaritons originate from the interplay of free carrier Drude response and interband transitions,which promise good intrinsic tunability.However,tunable in-plane hyperbolic plasmon polariton and its optical topological transition of the isofrequency contours to the elliptic topology in a natural material have not been realized.Here we demonstrate the tuning of the optical topological transition through Mo doping and temperature.The optical topological transition energy is tuned over a wide range,with frequencies ranging from 429 cm^(−1)(23.3 microns)for pure WTe_(2)to 270 cm^(−1)(37.0 microns)at the 50%Mo-doping level at 10 K.Moreover,the temperature-induced blueshift of the optical topological transition energy is also revealed,enabling active and reversible tuning.Surprisingly,the localized surface plasmon resonance in skew ribbons shows unusual polarization dependence,accurately manifesting its topology,which renders a reliable means to track the topology with far-field techniques.Our results open an avenue for reconfigurable photonic devices capable of plasmon polariton steering,such as canaling,focusing,and routing,and pave the way for low-symmetry plasmonic nanophotonics based on anisotropic natural materials.Yuangang Xie Chong Wang Fucong Fei Yuqi Li Qiaoxia Xing Shenyang Huang Yuchen Lei Jiasheng Zhang Lei Mu Yaomin Dai Fengqi Song Hugen Yan 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,9:0
6Pressure-induced color change arising from transformation between intra-and inter-band transitions in LuH_(2±x)N_(y)显示文摘The pressure-induced color change in the nitrogen-doped lutetium hydride has triggered extensive discussions about the underlying physics and potential applications.Here,we study the optical response of LuH_(2±x)N_(y)in a broad frequency range at ambient pressure and its evolution with pressure in the visible spectral range.The broad-band optical spectra at ambient pressure reveal a Drude component associated with intra-band electronic transitions and two Lorentz components(L1 and L2)arising from inter-band electronic transitions.The application of pressure causes a spectral weight transfer from L1 to the Drude component,leading to a blue shift of the plasma edge in the reflectivity spectrum alongside a reduction of the high-frequency reflectivity.Our results suggest that the pressure-induced color change in LuH_(2±x)N_(y)is closely related to the transformation between intra-and inter-band electronic transitions,providing new insights into the mechanism of the pressure-induced color change in LuH_(2±x)N_(y).Zhe Liu Yingjie Zhang Shenyang Huang Xue Ming Qing Li Chenghao Pan Yaomin Dai Xiaoxiang Zhou Xiyu Zhu Hugen Yan Hai-Hu Wen 2024Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2024,67,2:0
