1Sirolimus combined with oseltamivir and corticosteroid treatment for a puerpera with severe pneumonia caused by 2009 pandemic H1N1:A case report显示文摘Severe pneumonia in patients infected with the 2009 pandemic H1N1(pH1N1)virus was partially attributed to excessive immune response.Anti-virus treatment for these patients was insufficient.Here we reported the therapy effect of sirolimus,an immunosuppressor,combined with oseltamivir and corticosteroid for a puerpera with severe pneumonia caused by pH1N1 virus.This patient has infected with the pH1N1 virus in late pregnancy,and antiviral therapy was not implemented timely.She developed severe pneumonia and ARDS rapidly and need receive a cesarean section on the 39th week after pregnancy.After giving birth to a healthy baby,she received a combination of oseltamivir,sirolimus and corticosteroid,and improved in the following days.Moreover,the cytokines in serum and viral loads in BALF decreased significantly.She recovered without infectious symptoms and was discharged.Sirolimus combined with oseltamivir and corticosteroid is likely responsible for lowering the viral loads,reducing the patient's cytokine level,and further improving her clinical outcomes.It provides evidence that adjuvant treatment was beneficial to patients with severe pneumonia induced by the pH1N1 virus.Lijun Suo Xiaofeng Yu Yongfeng Hu Hongyun Cao Xiaohui Zou Peiquan Wang Tao Xu Xiangzhi Zhou Yexin Wu Lili Ren Bo Liu Bin Cao 2021Biosafety and Health2021,3,6:2
2An Automatic System of Vehicle Number-Plate Recognition Based on Neural Networks显示文摘This paper presents an automatic system of vehicle number-plate recognition based on neural networks. In this system, location of number-plate and recognition of characters in number-plate can be automatically completed. Pixel colors of Number-plate area are classified using neural network, then color features are extracted by analyzing scanning lines of the cross-section of number-plate. It takes full use of number-plate color features to locate numberplate. Characters in number-plate can be effectively recognized using the neural networks. Experimental results show that the correct rate of number.plate location is close to 100%, and the time of number-plate location is less than 1 second. Moreover, recognition rate of characters is improved due to the known number-plate type. It is also observed that this system is not sensitive to variations of weather, illumination and vehicle speed. In addition, and also the size of number-plate need not to be known in prior. 5Ozone-Mediated Functionalization of Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes and Their Activities for Oxygen Reduction Reaction显示文摘The functionalization of multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)by ozone treatment has been systematically investigated by using Raman spectroscopy,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),organic elemental analysis(OEA)and Boehm titration.The results showed that the functionalization process occurred at defective sites(opened mouths,tube caps,debris,etc.)before opening caps and truncating walls,and finally the graphitic structure was deteriorated.The surface oxygen content first increased with the treatment time but kept at around 8.0 wt%after 5 h.The analysis of the distribution of oxygen-containing groups revealed that phenolic hydroxyl was gradually converted to carboxyl and lactone.The carboxyl was found to play a pivotal role to reduce the over-potentials when we used the functionalized MWCNTs as the catalyst for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Hengheng Xia Yexin Zhang Chunlin Chen Wenlin Wu Ken Yao Jian Zhang 2016Journal of Materials Science & Technology2016,32,6:0
6A model for knowledge transfer in a multi-agent organization based on lattice kinetic model显示文摘A study on knowledge transfer in a mutli-agent organization is performed by applying the basic principle in physics such as the kinetic theory.Based on the theoretical analysis of the knowledge accumulation process and knowledge transfer attributes,a special type of knowledge field(KF)is introduced and the knowledge diffusion equation(KDE)is developed.The evolution of knowledge potential is modeled by lattice kinetic equation and verified by numerical experiments.The new equation-based modeling developed in this paper is meaningful to simulate and predict the knowledge transfer process in firms.The development of the lattice kinetic model(LKM)for knowledge transfer can contribute to the knowledge management theory,and the managers can also simulate the knowledge accumulation process by using the LKM.WU Weiwei MA Qian LIU Yexin KIM Yongjun 2020Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2020,31,1:0
7How to Accelerate Radical Technological Innovation?——From the Perspective of Technology Management and Technological Capability显示文摘Due to the advantage of developing and bringing to innovative products ahead of competitors,the importance of radical technological innovation is well recognized.Based on the synergy theory,this study examines the effects of technology management(TM)and technological capability(TC)on radical technological innovation,and further explores the impact of the synergy between TM and TC on radical technological innovation.The results show that,firstly,both TM and TC have positive impacts on radical technological innovation,and thus two direct routines of radical technological innovation are identified.Secondly,the synergy between TM and TC also exerts positive impact on radical technological innovation,and this result indicates that the synergy between TM and TC plays an important role in radical technological innovation.This research provides a refreshing perspective on how to stimulate radical technological innovation,and also puts forward some beneficial suggestions for firms to improve radical technological innovation.Yexin Liu Weiwei Wu 2021管理科学与研究(中英文版)2021,10,1:0
8Schisandra lignans ameliorate nonalcoholic steatohepatitis by regulating aberrant metabolism of phosphatidylethanolamines显示文摘Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)is a spectrum of chronic liver disease characterized by hepatic lipid metabolism disorder.Recent reports emphasized the contribution of triglyceride and diglyceride accumulation to NASH,while the other lipids associated with the NASH pathogenesis remained unexplored.The specific purpose of our study was to explore a novel pathogenesis and treatment strategy of NASH via profiling the metabolic characteristics of lipids.Herein,multi-omics techniques based on LC—Q-TOF/MS,LC—MS/MS and MS imaging were developed and used to screen the action targets related to NASH progress and treatment.A methionine and choline deficient(MCD)diet-induced mouse model of NASH was then constructed,and Schisandra lignans extract(SLE)was applied to alleviate hepatic damage by regulating the lipid metabolism-related enzymes CES2A and CYP4A14.Hepatic lipidomics indicated that MCD-diet led to aberrant accumulation of phosphatidylethanolamines(PEs),and SLE could significantly reduce the accumulation of intrahepatic PEs.Notably,exogenous PE(18:0/18:1)was proved to significantly aggravate the mitochondrial damage and hepatocyte apoptosis.Supplementing PE(18:0/18:1)also deteriorated the NASH progress by up regulating intrahepatic proinflammatory and fibrotic factors,while PE synthase inhibitor exerted a prominent hepatoprotective role.The current work provides new insights into the relationship between PE metabolism and the pathogenesis of NASH.Lijuan Xue Keanqi Liu Caixia Yan Junling Dun Yexin Xu Linlin Wu Huizhu Yang Huafang Liu Lin Xie Guangji Wang Yan Liang 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,8:0
