| 1 | Potential and policy issues for sustainable development of wind power in China显示文摘This paper presents a macroscopic view on the prevailing policy and potential issues in respect of the sustainable wind power development in China.It starts by analyzing the characteristics of wind power resources and pin-pointing the relationship between the regulatory policies and various economic,taxation,legal and grid integration attributes relating to the wind power development.Then it follows by analyzing the status quo and capabilities of the wind power manufacturing industry in China including its operational efficiency and grid integration standards.The economic and environmental benefits are estimated by relating to the associated costing analysis in respect of the major contributing factors such as manufacturing,operational and financial factors.Results of the associated benefits analysis indicate that the use of the wind power generation helps to save a significant equivalent amount of standard coal consumption resulting to reduction of emission effectively.Finally,the potential of wind power development in China is shown to be affirmative and the sustainable energy policy is effectively implemented in China. | Zhongfu TAN H.W.NGAN Yang WU Huijuan ZHANG Yihang SONG Chao YU | 2013 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2013,1,3: | 7 |
| 2 | Acute toxicity study of Aspidopterys obcordata aqueous extract in Sprague-Dawley rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To examine the acute toxicity of an aqueous extract of Aspidopterys obcordata(A. obcordata) in Sprague Dawley rats.METHODS: The rats were orally administered a dose of 5000 mg/kg body weight and observed continuously for 6 h and then daily for 14 days. Control rats were administered distilled water. The effect of the extract on general behavior, body weight, and food and water intake were measured.After 14 days, the rats were sacrificed and their organs(liver, heart, spleen, lungs, kidney, adrenal glands, ovaries, and testes) were removed for macroscopic examination. The body and organ weights in addition to hematology(e.g., hemoglobin and white blood cell counts) and clinical blood biochemistry(e.g., albumin and bilirubin) were also examined.RESULTS: There were no deaths recorded, and the rats treated with A. obcordata showed no signs of toxicity. All measured parameters in rats treated with A. obcordata were unaffected when compared with those in control rats. | 3 | Nicotinamide mononucleotide supplementation improves the quality of porcine oocytes under heat stress显示文摘Background:Elevated ambient temperature-caused heat stress is a major concern for livestock production due to its negative impact on animal feed intake,growth,reproduction,and health.Particularly,the germ cells are extremely sensitive to the heat stress.However,the effective approach and strategy regarding how to protect mammalian oocytes from heat stress-induced defects have not been determined.Methods:Germinal vesicle(GV)porcine oocytes were cultured at 41.5℃ for 24 h to induce heat stress,and then cultured at 38.5℃ to the specific developmental stage for subsequent analysis.Nicotinamide mononucleotide(NMN)was dissolved in water to 1 mol/L for a stock solution and further diluted with the maturation medium to the final concentrations of 10μmol/L,20μmol/L,50μmol/L or 100μmol/L,respectively,during heat stress.Immunostaining and fluorescence intensity quantification were applied to assess the effects of heat stress and NMN supplementation on the key processes during the oocyte meiotic maturation.Results:Here,we report that NMN supplementation improves the quality of porcine oocytes under heat stress.Specifically,we found that heat stress resulted in oocyte maturation failure by disturbing the dynamics of meiotic organelles,including the cytoskeleton assembly,cortical granule distribution and mitochondrial function.In addition,heat stress induced the production of excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)and DNA damage,leading to the occurrence of apoptosis in oocytes and subsequent embryonic development arrest.More importantly,we validated that supplementation of NMN during heat stress restored the meiotic defects during porcine oocyte maturation.Conclusions:Taken together,our study documents that NMN supplementation is an effective approach to improve the quality of oocytes under heat stress by promoting both nuclear and cytoplasmic maturation. | Meijie Song Yu Li Yihang Zhou Jiner Yan Xiaohua Zhou Qian Gao Yilong Miao Bo Xiong | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,5: | 2 |

| 5 | China's Wind Power Integration and Benefits to Energy Saving and Emission Reduction显示文摘Based on the research of wind power development policies, this paper put forward the reform directions to improve the disadvantages of the policies. The wind power’s grid integration status quo is introduced, and the bottle neck of grid integration is analyzed. By the study on the economic benefits of wind power integration in China’s present stage, the results indicate that the wind power industry is in good condition of profits and the profits are higher with the increase of the wind resources in the areas. Through expanding the difference of the power purchase prices in different resource areas, it is beneficial for the nationwide harmonious development of wind power. | 7 | The acceleration degradation processes of different aged refuses with the forced aeration for landfill reclamation显示文摘Forced aeration is one of the promising ways to accelerate landfill reclamation,and understanding the relation between aeration rates and waste properties is the prerequisite to implementing forced aeration under the target of energy saving and carbon reduction.In this work,landfill reclamation processes with forced aeration were simulated using aged refuses(ARs)of 1,4,7,10,and 13 disposal years,and the potential of field application was also investigated based on a field project,to identify the degradation rate of organic components,the O_(2)consumption efficiency and their correlations to microbes.It was found that the removal rate of organic matter declined from 20.3%(AR_(1))to 12.6%(AR_(13)),and that biodegradable matter(BDM)decreased from 5.2%to 2.4%at the set aeration rate of 0.12 L O_(2)/kg waste(Dry Matter,DM)/day.A linear relationship between the degradation rate constant(K)of BDM and disposal age(x)was established:K=−0.0002193x+0.0091(R^(2)=0.854),suggesting that BDM might be a suitable indicator to reflect the stabilization of ARs.The cellulose/lignin ratio decrease rate for AR1(18.3%)was much higher than that for AR13(3.1%),while the corresponding humic-acid/fulvic-acid ratio increased from 1.44 to 2.16.The dominant bacteria shifted from Corynebacterium(9.2%),Acinetobacter(6.6%),and Fermentimonas(6.5%),genes related to the decompose of biodegradable organics,to Stenotrophomonas(10.2%)and Clostridiales(3.7%),which were associated with humification.The aeration efficiencies of lab-scale tests were in the range of 5.4–11.8 g BDM/L O_(2)for ARs with disposal ages of 1–13 years,and in situ landfill reclamation,ARs with disposal ages of 10–18 years were around 1.9–8.8 g BDM/L O_(2),as the disposal age decreased.The increased discrepancy was observed in ARs at the lab-scale and field scale,indicating that the forced aeration rate should be adjusted based on ARs and the unit compartment combined,to reduce the operation cost. | Yihang Liu Chengqi Ning Qiujie Huang Zhaowen Cheng Weihua Cao Xianghui Wang Changfu Yang Hui Liu Jia Song Luochun Wang Ziyang Lou | 2023 | Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2023,5,3: | 0 |

| 9 | UAV Path Planning Based on an Improved Ant Colony Algorithm显示文摘Reviews and experimental verification have found that existing solution methods can be used to solve UAV path planning problems, but each approximate solution has its own advantages and disadvantages. For example, ant colony algorithm easily falls into the local optimum in the process of realizing path planning. In order to prevent too low pheromones on the longer path and too high pheromones in the shorter path, the upper and lower limits of pheromones as well as their volatile factors are set to avoid falling into the local optimum. Secondly, multi-heuristic factors are introduced, and the overall length of the path serves as an adaptive heuristic function factor that determines the probability of state transition, which affects the probability of ants choosing the corresponding path. The experimental results show that the path length planned by the improved algorithm is 93.6% of the original algorithm, and the optimal path length variance is only 14.22% of the original algorithm. The improved ant colony algorithm shortens the optimal path length and solves the UAV path planning problem in terms of local optima. | 12 | High-responsivity on-chip waveguide coupled germanium photodetector for 2 μm waveband显示文摘Recently,the emerging 2μm waveband has gained increasing interest due to its great potential for a wide scope of applications.Compared with the existing optical communication windows at shorter wavelengths,it also offers distinct advantages of lower nonlinear absorption,better fabrication tolerance,and larger free carrier plasma effects for silicon photonics,which has been a proven device technology.While much progress has been witnessed for silicon photonics at the 2μm waveband,the primary challenge still exists for on-chip detectors.Despite the maturity and compatibility of the waveguide coupled photodetectors made of germanium,the 2μm regime is far beyond its cutoff wavelength.In this work,we demonstrate an efficient and high-speed on-chip waveguidecoupled germanium photodetector operating at the 2μm waveband.The weak sub-bandgap absorption of epitaxial germanium is greatly enhanced by a lateral separation absorption charge multiplication structure.The detector is fabricated by the standard process offered by a commercial foundry.The device has a benchmark performance with responsivity of 1.05 A/W and 3 dB bandwidth of 7.12 GHz,which is able to receive high-speed signals with up to 20 Gbit/s data rate.The availability of such an efficient and fast on-chip detector circumvents the barriers between silicon photonic integrated circuits and the potential applications at the 2μm waveband. | JIANING WANG XI WANG YIHANG LI YANFU YANG QINGHAI SONG KE XU | 2024 | Photonics Research2024,12,1: | 0 |
