| 1 | Modeling of Soot Formation in Gas Burner Using Reduced Chemical Kinetics Coupled with CFD Code显示文摘A computational study of soot formation in ethylene/air coflow jet diffusion flame at atmospheric pres-sure was conducted using a reduced mechanism and soot formation model. A 20-step mechanism was derived from the full mechanism using sensitivity analysis,reaction path analysis and quasi steady state(QSS) approximation. The model in premixed flame was validated and with computing savings in diffusion flame was applied by incor-porating into a CFD code. Simulations were performed to explore the effect of coflow air on flame structure and soot formation. Thermal radiation was calculated by a discrete-ordinates method,and soot formation was predicted by a simple two-equation soot model. Model results are in good agreement with those from experiment data and detailed mechanism at atmospheric conditions. The soot nucleation,growth,and oxidation by OH are all enhanced by decrease in coflow air velocity. | 2 | Spatial Distribution of Traditional Villages and Influence Factors in Hunan Province显示文摘To develop and protect traditional villages reasonably, this paper applied Arc GIS Spatial Analyst Tools to analyze spatial distribution and infl uence factors of 101 traditional villages in Hunan Province. | 3 | Effect of Zuogui pill and Yougui pill on osteoporosis: a randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect and safety of Zuogui pill and Yougui pill, classic Yin and Yang tonic formula(CYYTF), in the treatment of osteoporosis and the underlying mechanism.METHODS: Participants aged 55 to 75 with osteoporosis and Kidney deficiency in Traditional Chi-nese Medicine(TCM) will be included and randomly allocated into two groups: treatment group and control group. Participants in the treatment group were treated with Zuogui pill or Yougui pill TCM formula granule, while the control group received placebo. Primary outcomes are the lumbar spine on bone mineral density(BMD)(L1-4) and femoral BMD. Secondary outcomes include pain intensity,health-related quality of life(HRQo L), bone turnover markers and safety.RESULTS: Totally 200 patients were enrolled from December 2014 to April 2016 from four hospitals.There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups at baseline(P > 0.05) and it was good to comparability. Statistically significant differences between the two groups were observed for the lumbar BMD(L1-4), pain VAS scores and HRQo L at six months and twelve months and femoral BMD at twelve months(P < 0.05), but no significant differences for femoral BMD and bone turnover markers at six months(P > 0.05). Moreover, significant difference was observed at different time before and after treatment in terms of lumbar spine(L1-4) BMD, femoral BMD, pain VAS scores and health-related quality of life, and there was an crossover effect between the time and groups before and after treatment. In additional, in the treatment group, 8 patients lost to follow-up and 3 patients had adverse events(AEs) and in the control group, 10 patients lost to follow-up and 2 patients had AEs. No remarkable differences were observed between the two groups with regard to AEs, lost rate and safety(P > 0.05).CONCLUSION: Zuogui pill or Yougui pill could improve BMD, ease pain, relieve Kidney deficiencysyndrome, improve the quality of life osteoporosis patients, inhibit bone conversion and regulate the coupling balance of bone formation and bone resorption, but long-term efficacy should be confirmed by a longer term follow-up and larger of samples clinical randomized controlled trials. | Li Wenxiong Zhang Kuaiqiang Liu Zhu Liu Li Cheng Yan Yin Jichao Sun Yindi Yang Feng | 2018 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018,38,1: | 3 |
| 4 | In situ catalytic conversion of biomass fast pyrolysis vapors on HZSM–5显示文摘In situ catalytic conversion of biomass fast pyrolysis vapors was carried out on HZSM-5 with varying Si/Al ratios(ranging from 20 to 300) at 450 °C. The effects of Si/Al ratios of HZSM-5 zeolites on the distribution of biomass fast pyrolysis products and carbon deposits on catalysts were investigated. It was quite remarkable that after in situ catalytic conversion the amount of light phenols and hydrocarbons increased significantly while that of heavy phenols decreased a lot. Besides, the yield of cyclopentenones with relatively low oxygen content generally increased. It also indicated that as the Si/Al ratios of HZSM-5 increased, the amount of hydrocarbons and light phenols was found to drop greatly. The amount of carbon deposits was found to be around 8.5% with the exception of HZSM-5 with the Si/Al ratio of 300,which is much lower. Moreover, the carbon deposits yield dropped gradually with increasing Si/Al ratios of HZSM-5.Calcination of spent catalysts at 600 °C helped to restore the catalytic activity to a large extent despite a relatively lower efficiency of deoxygenation. | 5 | Changing provenance of late Cenozoic sediments in the Jianghan Basin显示文摘The Yangtze River is one of the most important components of the East Asia river system.In this study,sediments in the Jianghan Basin,middle Yangtze River,were selected for trace element and rare earth element(REE)measurements,in order to decipher information on the change of sediment provenance and evolution of the Yangtze River.According to the elemental variations,the late Cenozoic sediments of the Jianghan Basin could be divided into four parts.During 2.68e2.28 Ma and 1.25e0 Ma,provenance of the sediments was consistent,whereas sediments were derived from variable sources during2.28e1.25 Ma.Comparison of the elemental compositions between the Pliocene and Quaternary sediments revealed a change in sediment source from a more felsic source area to a more basic source area around the PlioceneeQuaternary boundary.Input from the Emeishan LIP should account for this provenance change.Based on the provenance analysis of sediments in the Jianghan Basin,we infer that the Yangtze River developed into a large river with its drainage basin extended to the Emeishan LIP no later than the PlioceneeQuaternary boundary. | Lei Shao Shengyuan Yuan Chang'an Li Chunguo Kang Wenjing Zhu Yindi Liu Jietao Wang | 2015 | Geoscience Frontiers2015,6,4: | 3 |

A closed-form approximation for the Spectral efficiency(SE)is derived for a general mixed ADC structure with any resolution profile. To achieve a balance between the SE and receive Energy efficiency(EE) of the system, the ADC resolution profile optimization problem that maximizes a linear combination of the SE and the Base station(BS)receive power consumption is formulated. An algorithm based on gradient search is proposed whose complexity is linear in the number of BS antennas. | 7 | On-Line Measurement Method for Diameter and Roundness Error of Balls显示文摘This paper presents an on-line measurement method for the diameter and roundness error of balls.An easy-installation rotary scanning system,which integrates the principles of the diameter and the roundness measurements,is constructed.The rotary scanning system consists of a rotary stage,a linear stage,and two sensors with a什at probe.Two sensors are initially installed on the linear stage and contact each other.The outputs of two sensors are reset to zero at first.The ball is then mounted on the rotary stage and positioned between two flat probes.The variations of the diameter and the roundness error of the ball at each angular position can be directly recorded by two sensors when the ball is rotated by the rotary stage.Substituting the outputs of two sensors into the proposed mathematical models,the diameter and roundness error can be evaluated.The effects of the alignment error induced by the spindle error of the rotary stage and the titling error and the eccentric error of the ball on the measurement accuracy can be self-separated in the proposed on-line measurement method.A series of experiments are carried out to verify the effectiveness and the capability of the proposed on-line measurement method and the designed rotary scanning system.The designed system is easy to construct both in the laboratory environment and the factory field. | Yindi Cai Bo Xie Siying Ling Kuang-Chao Fan | 2020 | Nanomanufacturing and Metrology2020,3,3: | 2 |
