2Constrained large-eddy simulation and detached eddy simulation of flow past a commercial aircraft at 14 degrees angle of attack显示文摘With the development of computational power and numerical algorithms,computational fluid dynamics(CFD) has become an important strategy for the design of aircraft,which significantly reduces the reliance on wind-tunnel and flight tests.In this paper,we conducted a numerical investigation on the flow past a full commercial aircraft at Mach number 0.2 and 14 degrees angle of attack by means of Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS),detached-eddy simulation(DES) and our newly developed constrained large-eddy simulation(CLES).The objective of this paper is to study the capability of these models in simulating turbulent flows.To our knowledge,this is the first large-eddy simulation method for full commercial aircraft simulation.The results show that the CLES can predict the mean statistical quantities well,qualitatively consistent with traditional methods,and can capture more small-scale structures near the surface of the aircraft with massive separations.Our study demonstrates that CLES is a promising alternative for simulating real engineering turbulent flows.CHEN ShiYi CHEN YingChun XIA ZhenHua QU Kun SHI YiPeng XIAO ZuoLi LIU QiuHong CAI QingDong LIU Feng LEE Cunbiao ZHANG RiKui CAI JinSheng 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,2:14

5A new method of frequency-dependent network equivalence for power system显示文摘Electromagnetic transient simulation for large-scale power system is a time-consuming problem.A new frequency-dependent equivalence method is presented in the paper,which might significantly accelerate power system electromagnetic transient simulation.In the method,an effective algorithm is designed to directly transfer the port admittance determinant of external system's mixing matrix into admittance rational function;and the step-by-step strategy for the equivalence of actual large system is put forward,which further reduces the calculation quantities needed.Moreover,the study of multiple real root pole characteristics of admittance transfer function of two-port network is performed and a proposition is achieved.Based on the proposition and residue theorem,the equivalence system for external system corresponding to the admittance rational function is obtained.The computation complexity of the step-by-step equivalence method is about o(┌n/np×T┐)(┌┐ is upper integral operation,n is the total buses number of external system,N P is the total buses number of single step equivalence network,T is single step equivalence time),which indicates that the computation complexity of the method proposed has nearly linear relationship with the buses number of external system,and the method proposed has satisfactory computation speed.Since the mixing matrix of external system includes all the information of external system,therefore,port admittance rational function derived from it can reflect its full frequency characteristic and the equivalence network achieved has high equivalence precision.Moreover,since the port rational function is gained at the condition of the external system without source,which equals stable passive network,it could not show any unstable pole and need not extra measure to make the equivalence system stable.The test results of the samples and comparison with other methods demonstrate that the new method proposed is valid and effective.LIN JiKeng YAN YiPeng PU TianJiao LUO ShanShan LIU Tao ZHENG WeiHong WANG XuDong 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,7:3

8SRSF1 plays a critical role in invariant natural killer T cell development and function显示文摘Invariant natural killer T(iNKT)cells are highly conserved innate-like T lymphocytes that originate from CD4^(+)CD8^(+)double-positive(DP)thymocytes.Here,we report that serine/arginine splicing factor 1(SRSF1)intrinsically regulates iNKT cell development by directly targeting Myb and balancing the abundance of short and long isoforms.Conditional ablation of SRSF1 in DP cells led to a substantially diminished iNKT cell pool due to defects in proliferation,survival,and TCRαrearrangement.The transition from stage 0 to stage 1 of iNKT cells was substantially blocked,and the iNKT2 subset was notably diminished in SRSF1-deficient mice.SRSF1 deficiency resulted in aberrant expression of a series of regulators that are tightly correlated with iNKT cell development and iNKT2 differentiation,including Myb,PLZF,Gata3,ICOS,and CD5.In particular,we found that SRSF1 directly binds and regulates pre-mRNA alternative splicing of Myb and that the expression of the short isoform of Myb is substantially reduced in SRSF1-deficient DP and iNKT cells.Strikingly,ectopic expression of the Myb short isoform partially rectified the defects caused by ablation of SRSF1.Furthermore,we confirmed that the SRSF1-deficient mice exhibited resistance to acute liver injury uponα-GalCer and Con A induction.Our findings thus uncovered a previously unknown role of SRSF1 as an essential post-transcriptional regulator in iNKT cell development and functional differentiation,providing new clinical insights into iNKT-correlated disease.Jingjing Liu Menghao You Yingpeng Yao Ce Ji Zhao Wang Fang Wang Di Wang Zhihong Qi Guotao Yu Zhen Sun Wenhui Guo Juanjuan Liu Shumin Li Yipeng Jin Tianyan Zhao Hai-Hui Xue Yuanchao Xue Shuyang Yu 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,11:3
9Effect of inhomogeneous broadening on threshold current of GaN-based green laser diodes显示文摘The inhomogeneous broadening parameter and the internal loss of green LDs are determined by experiments and theoretical fitting. It is found that the inhomogeneous broadening plays an important role on the threshold current density of green LDs. The green LD with large inhomogeneous broadening even cannot lase. 11Influence of coronary bifurcation angle on atherosclerosis显示文摘Hemodynamics plays a crucial role in the development and progression of coronary atherosclerosis,which is prone to occur in branch bifurcation.A n individual aortic-coronary artery model and three changed bifurcation angle models are constructed by Mimics and Freeform based on computed tomography angiography.The influence of different coronary bifurcation angles between left main(LM),left anterior descending(LAD),and left circumflex(LCX)on the blood flow field and related hemodynamic parameters are studied.It is shown that a wider bifurcation angle between LAD and LCX can cause a wider low-wall shear stress area,leading to atherosclerosis.Similarly,a decreased angle between LM and LAD is predisposed to prevent atherosclerosis.The results help to better understand the hemodynamic causes of atherosclerosis with various bifurcation angles in coronary arteries and to provide guidance for clinical assessment and prevention.Zhaomiao Liu Shengwei Zhao Yunjie Li Feng Shen Yipeng Qi Qi Wang 2019Acta Mechanica Sinica2019,35,6:2
12Fecal microbiota transplantation from young donor mice improves ovarian function in aged mice显示文摘Advanced maternal age is characterized by declines in the quantity and quality of oocytes in the ovaries,and the aging process is accompanied by changes in gut microbiota composition.However,little is known about the relationship between gut microbiota and ovarian aging.By using fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)to transplant material from young(5-week-old)into aged(42-week-old)mice,we find that the composition of gut microbiota in FMT-treated mice presents a“younger-like phenotype”and an increase of commensal bacteria,such as Bifidobacterium and Ruminococcaceae.Moreover,the FMT-treated mice show increased anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-4 and decreased pro-inflammatory cytokine IFN-γ.Fertility tests for assessing ovarian function reveal that the first litter size of female FMT-treated mice is significantly higher than that of the non-FMT group.Morphology analysis demonstrates a dramatic decrease in follicle atresia and apoptosis as well as an increase in cellular proliferation in the ovaries of the FMT-treated mice.Our results also show that FMT improves the immune microenvironment in aged ovaries,with decreased macrophages and macrophage-derived multinucleated giant cells(MNGCs).These results suggest that FMT from young donors could be a good choice for delaying ovarian aging.Li Xu Qiankun Zhang Xiaowei Dou Yipeng Wang Jianwei Wang Yong Zhou Xingyin Liu Jing Li 2022Journal of Genetics and Genomics2022,49,11:2
13Cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals for ultraviolet and blue light blocking显示文摘Using cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals, CsPb(Cl/Br)3, as a light absorber, we report a highly effective UV and blue light blocking film. The CsPb(Cl/Br)3 nanocrystals are well dispersed in the ethyl cellulose(EC) matrix to compose a UV and blue light shielding film, and the absorption edge of the film is tunable by adjusting Cl to Br ratio using anion exchange. The CsPbCl2 Br-EC film exhibits a transmittance of 5% at 459 nm, 90% at 478 nm and 95% in the range of 500–800 nm, which makes it excellent for UV and blue light shielding. In addition, the as-prepared EC-CsPb(Cl/Br)3 film shows excellent photostability under UV irradiation. 14Noise level estimation method with application to EMD-based signal denoising显示文摘This paper proposes a new signal noise level estimation approach by local regions. The estimated noise variance is applied as the threshold for an improved empirical mode decomposition(EMD) based signal denoising method. The proposed estimation method can effectively extract the candidate regions for the noise level estimation by measuring the correlation coefficient between noisy signal and a Gaussian filtered signal. For the improved EMD based method, the situation of decomposed intrinsic mode function(IMFs) which contains noise and signal simultaneously are taken into account. 15Effect of carboxylic acid groups on the supercapacitive performance of functional carbon frameworks derived from bacterial cellulose显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D) carbonaceous materials derived from bacterial cellulose(BC) has been introduced as electrode for supercapacitors in recent. Here, we report a simple strategy for the synthesis of functional carbon frameworks through 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpilperidine 1-oxyl radical(TEMPO)-mediated oxidation of bacterial cellulose(BC) followed by carbonization. TEMPO-mediated oxidation can efficiently convert the hydroxyls on the surface of BC to carboxylate groups to improve electrochemical activity. Because of its high porosity, good hydrophilicity, rich oxygen groups, and continuous ion transport in-between sheet-like porous network, the TEMPO-oxidized BC delivers a much higher gravimetric capacitance(137.3 F/g) at low annealing temperature of 500℃ than that of pyrolysis BC(31 F/g) at the same annealing temperature. 16Evaluation of menopausal status among breast cancer patients with chemotherapy-induced amenorrhea显示文摘Objective: In patients with chemotherapy-induced amenorrhea(CIA), the menopausal status is ambiguous and difficult to evaluate. This study aimed to establish a discriminative model to predict and classify the menopausal status of breast cancer patients with CIA.Methods: This is a single center hospital-based study from 2013 to 2016. The menopausal age distribution and accumulated incidence rate of CIA are described. Multivariate models were adjusted for established and potential confounding factors including age, serum concentration of estradiol(E2) and follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),feeding, pregnancy, parity, abortions, and body mass index(BMI). The odds ratio(OR) and 95% confidence interval(95% CI) of different risk factors were estimated.Results: A total of 1,796 breast cancer patients were included in this study, among whom, 1,175(65.42%) were premenopausal patients and 621(34.58%) were post-menopause patients. Five hundred and fifty patients were included in CIA analysis, and a cumulative CIA rate of 81.64% was found in them. Age(OR: 1.856, 95% CI:1.732-1.990), serum concentration of E2(OR: 0.976, 95% CI: 0.972-0.980) and FSH(OR: 1.060, 95% CI:1.053-1.066), and menarche age(OR: 1.074, 95% CI: 1.009-1.144) were found to be associated with the patients' menopausal status. According to multivariate analysis, the discriminative model to predict the menopausal status is Logit(P)=-28.396+0.536 Age-0.014 E2+0.031 FSH. The sensitivities for this model were higher than 85%, and its specificities were higher than 89%.Conclusions: The discriminative model obtained from this study for predicting menstrual state is important for premenopausal patients with CIA.
