| 1 | Velocity-Free MS/AE Source Location Method for Three-Dimensional Hole-Containing Structures显示文摘Microseismic/acoustic emission(MS/AE)source localization method is crucial for predicting and controlling of potentially dangerous sources of complex structures.However,the locating errors induced by both the irregular structure and pre-measured velocity are poorly understood in existing methods.To meet the high-accuracy locating requirements in complex three-dimensional hole-containing structures,a velocity-free MS/AE source location method is developed in this paper.It avoids manual repetitive training by using equidistant grid points to search the path,which introduces A*search algorithm and uses grid points to accommodate complex structures with irregular holes.It also takes advantage of the velocity-free source location method.To verify the validity of the proposed method,lead-breaking tests were performed on a cubic concrete test specimen with a size of 10 cm10 cm10 cm.It was cut out into a cylindrical empty space with a size of/6cm10 cm.Based on the arrivals,the classical Geiger method and the proposed method are used to locate lead-breaking sources.Results show that the locating error of the proposed method is 1.20 cm,which is less than 2.02 cm of the Geiger method.Hence,the proposed method can effectively locate sources in the complex three-dimensional structure with holes and achieve higher precision requirements. | Longjun Dong Qingchun Hu Xiaojie Tong Youfang Liu | 2020 | Engineering2020,6,7: | 22 |
| 2 | Simultaneous growth of carbon nanotubes on inner/outer surfaces of porous polyhedra:Advanced sulfur hosts for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Metal-organic framework (MOF)-derived functional carbon matrices have recently attracted considerable attention as energy-storage materials.However,the development of MOF-derived carbon materials with hierarchical structures,capable of thoroughly preventing the 'shuttling' of polysulfides,is still a major challenge.Herein,we synthesized cobalt nanoparticle-containing porous carbon polyhedra with in situ grown N-doped carbon nanotube (CNT) backbone (NCCNT-Co),using zeolitic imidazolate framework-67 (ZIF-67) as starting material.The obtained NCCNT-Co,with interconnected N-doped CNTs on both inner and outer surfaces,possesses an integrated conductive network,which can further accelerate the transport of electrons/ions inside the whole sulfur cathode.The mesoporous structure derived from the ZIF-67 matrix and the densely immobilized CNTs,coupled with the homogeneously doped N atoms and Co nanoparticles,can efficiently trap lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) by physical confinement and chemical interactions.Furthermore,the hierarchical structure of the porous carbon polyhedra enables a high sulfur loading of up to 76 wt.% and can also buffer the volume changes of active sulfur during the lithiation process.As a result,the NCCNT-Co-S cathode delivers a high initial specific capacity of 1,300 mAh·g-1 at 0.1 C,along with a high capacity of 860 rnAh·g-1 after 500 cycles at 1 C,with an extremely low capacity decay of 0.024% per cycle. | Hengyi Lu Chao Zhang Youfang Zhang Yunpeng Huang Mingkai Liu Tianxi Liu | 2018 | Nano Research2018,11,12: | 3 |
| 3 | The impact of mean dynamic topography on a sea-level anomaly assimilation in the South China Sea based on an eddy-resolving model显示文摘The sea-level anomaly (SLA) from a satellite altimeter has a high accuracy and can be used to improve ocean state estimation by assimilation techniques. However, the lack of an accurate mean dynamic topography (MDT) is still a bothersome issue in an ocean data assimilation. The previous studies showed that the errors in MDT have significant impacts on assimilation results, especially on the time-mean components of ocean states and on the time variant parts of states via nonlinear ocean dynamics. The temporal-spatial differences of three MDTs and their impacts on the SLA analysis are focused on in the South China Sea (SCS). The theoretical analysis shows that even for linear models, the errors in MDT have impacts on the SLA analysis using a sequential data assimilation scheme. Assimilation experiments, based on EnOI scheme and HYCOM, with three MDTs from July 2003 to June 2004 also show that the SLA assimilation is very sensitive to the choice of different MDTs in the SCS with obvious differences between the experimental results and observations in the centre of the SCS and in the vicinity of the Philippine Islands. A new MDT for assimilation of SLA data in the SCS was proposed. The results from the assimilation experiment with this new MDT show a marked reduction (increase) in the RMSEs (correlation coefficient) between the experimental and observed SLA. | 4 | Bioactive hyaluronic acid fragments inhibit lipopolysaccharideinduced inflammatory responses via the Toll-like receptor 4 signaling pathway显示文摘The high-and the low-molecular weight hyaluronic acids(HMW-HA and LMW-HA,respectively)showed different biological activities in inflammation.However,the role of LMW-HA in inflammatory response is controversial.In this study,we aimed to investigate the effect of bioactive hyaluronan(B-HA)on lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced inflammatory responses in human macrophages and mice.B-HA was produced from HA treated with glycosylated recombinant human hyaluronidase PH20.Human THP-1 cells were induced to differentiate into macrophages.THP-1-derived macrophages were treated with B-HA,LPS,or B-HA+LPS.The mRNA expression and the production of inflammatory cytokines were determined using quantitative real-time PCR and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.The phosphorylation levels of proteins in the nuclear factor-kB(NF-kB),mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),and IRF-3 signaling pathways were measured using Western blot.The in vivo efficacy of B-HA was assessed in a mouse model of LPS-induced inflammation.Results showed that B-HA inhibited the expression of TNF-α,IL-6,IL-1,and IFN-β,and enhanced the expression of the antiinflammatory cytokine IL-10 in LPS-induced inflammatory responses in THP-1-derived macrophages and in vivo.B-HA significantly suppressed the phosphorylation of the TLR4 signaling pathway proteins p65,IKKα/β,IkBα,JNK1/2,ERK1/2,p38,and IRF-3.In conclusion,our results demonstrated that the B-HA attenuated the LPSstimulated inflammatory response by inhibiting the activation of the TLR4 signaling pathway.B-HA could be a potential anti-inflammatory drug in the treatment of inflammatory disease. | Na You Sasa Chu Binggang Cai Youfang Gao Mizhou Hui Jin Zhu Maorong Wang | 2021 | Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,2: | 2 |

| 16 | PM2.5 over North China based on MODIS AOD and effect of meteorological elements during 2003-2015显示文摘Over the past 40 years,PM2.5 pollution in North China has become increasingly serious and progressively exposes the densely populated areas to pollutants.However,due to limited ground data,it is challenging to estimate accurate PM2.5 exposure levels,further making it unfavorable for the prediction and prevention of PM2.5 pollutions.This paper therefore uses the mixed effect model to estimate daily PM2.5 concentrations of North China between 2003 and 2015 with ground observation data and MODIS AOD satellite data.The tempo-spatial characteristics of PM2.s and the influence of meteorological elements on PM25 is discussed with EOF and canonical correlation analysis respectively.Results show that overall R2 is 0.36 and the root mean squared predicted error was 30.1μg/m^3 for the model prediction.Our time series analysis showed that,the Taihang Mountains acted as a boundary between the high and low pollution areas in North China;while the northern part of Henan Province,the southern part of Hebei Province and the western part of Shandong Province were the most polluted areas.Although,in 2004,2009 and dates after 2013,PM25 concentrations were relatively low.Meteorological/topography conditions,that include high surface humidity of area in the range of 34°-40°N and 119°-124°E,relatively low boundary layer heights,and southerly and easterly winds from the east and north area were common factors attributed to haze in the most polluted area.Overall,the spatial distribution of increasingly concentrated PM2.5 pollution in North China are consistent with the local emission level,unfavorable meteorological conditions and topographic changes. | Youfang Chen Yimin Zhou Xinyi Zhao | 2020 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2020,14,2: | 1 |
