| 1 | Design,methodology,and baseline of whole city‑million scale children and adolescents myopia survey(CAMS)in Wenzhou,China显示文摘Background:Myopia is the most common visual impairment in children and adolescents worldwide.This study described an economical and effective population-based screening pipeline and performed the project of a million scale children and adolescents myopia survey(CAMS),which will shed light on the further study of myopia from the level of epidemiology and precision medicine.Methods:We developed a novel population-based screening pattern,an intelligent screening process and internetbased information transmission and analysis system to carry out the survey consisting of school children in Wenzhou,China.The examination items include unaided distance visual acuity,presenting distance visual acuity,and noncycloplegic autorefraction.Myopia and high myopia were defined as spherical equivalent(SE)≤−1.00 diopters(D)and SE≤−6.00 D,respectively.Next,the reports of the vision checking were automatically sent to parents and the related departments.The CAMS project will be done two to four times annually with the support of the government.An online eyesight status information management system(OESIMS)was developed to construct comprehensive and efficient electronic vision health records(EVHRs)for myopia information inquiry,risk pre-warning,and further study.Results:The CAMS completed the first-round of screening within 30 days for 99.41%of Wenzhou students from districts and counties,in June 2019.A total of 1,060,925 participants were eligible for CAMS and 1,054,251(99.37%participation rate)were selected through data quality control,which comprised 1305 schools,and 580,609,251,050 and 170,967 elementary,middle,and high school students.The mean age of participants was 12.21±3.32 years(6-20 years),the female-to-male ratio was 0.82.The prevalence of myopia in elementary,middle,and high school students was 38.16%,77.52%,and 84.00%,respectively,and the high myopia incidence was 0.95%,6.90%,and 12.98%.Conclusions:The CAMS standardized myopia screening model involves automating large-scale information collection,data transmission,data analysis and early warning,thereby supporting myopia prevention and control.The entire survey reduced 90%of staff,cost,and time consumption compared with previous surveys.This will provide new insights for decision support for public health intervention. | Liangde Xu Youyuan Zhuang Guosi Zhang Yunlong Ma Jian Yuan Changseng Tu MiaoMiao Li Wencan Wang Yaru Zhang Xiaoyan Lu Jing Li Xinting Liu Zhengbo Xue Meng Zhou Jie Sun Jinhua Bao Ming Li Fan Lu Hong Wang Jianzhong Su Jia Qu | 2021 | Eye and Vision2021,8,1: | 7 |

| 7 | Unveiling the impact of residual Li conversion and cation ordering on electrochemical performance of Co-free Ni-rich cathodes显示文摘The residual Li and Li^(+)/Ni_(2)+cation mixing play essential roles in the electrochemical properties of Ni-rich cathodes.However,a general relationship between the residual Li conversion,cation mixing,and their effects on the Li^(+)kinetics and structural stability has yet to be established,due to the presence of cobalt in the cathode.Here,we explore the synergistic impact of the residual Li conversion and cation ordering on a Co-free Ni-rich cathode(i.e.,LiNi0.95Mn0.05O_(2)).It discloses that the rate capability is mainly affected by residual Li contents and operating voltage.Specifically,residual Li can be electrochemically converted to cathode electrolyte interphase(CEI)below 4.3 V,thus inducing high interphase resistance,and decomposes to produce CO_(2)-dominated gas at 4.5 V,causing temporary enhancement of Li^(+)diffusivity but severe surface degradation during cycling.Moreover,the cycling performance of Co-free Ni-rich cathode is not only determined by Li^(+)/Ni_(2)+cation-ordered superlattice,which enhances the structural stability as it functions as the pillar to impede lattice collapse at a highly charged state,but also by the robust CEI layers which protect the bulk from electrolyte attack under 4.3 V.These findings promote an in-depth understanding of residual Li conversion and Li^(+)/Ni_(2)+cation ordering on Co-free Ni-rich cathode. | Chu Wang Lei Tan Hongling Yi Zixiang Zhao Xiaoli Yi Youyuan Zhou Junchao Zheng Jiexi Wang Lingjun Li | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,10: | 1 |

| 14 | Particle shape effect on hydrodynamics and heat transfer in spouted bed:A CFD-DEM study显示文摘Spouted bed has drawn much attention due to its good heat and mass transfer efficiency in many chemical units.Investigating the flow patterns and heat and mass transfer inside a spouted bed can help optimize the spouting process.Therefore,in this study,the effects of particle shape on the hydrodynamics and heat transfer in a spouted bed are investigated.This is done by using a validated computational fluid dynamics-discrete element method(CFD-DEM)model,considering volume-equivalent spheres and oblate and prolate spheroids.The results are analysed in detail in terms of the flow pattern,microstruc-ture,and heat transfer characteristics.The numerical results show that the prolate spheroids(Ar=2.4)form the largest bubble from the beginning of the spouting process and rise the highest because the fluid drag forces can overcome the interlocking and particle-particle frictional forces.Compared with spherical particles,ellipsoidal spheroids have better mobility because of the stronger rotational kinetic energy resulting from the rough surfaces and nonuniform torques.In addition,the oblate spheroid system exhibits better heat transfer performance benefiting from the larger surface area,while prolate spheroids have poor heat transfer efficiency because of their orientation distribution.These findings can serve as a reference for optimizing the design and operation of complex spouted beds. | Dianyu E Peng Zhou Suya Guo Jia Zeng Jiaxin Cui Youyuan Jiang Yuanxiang Lu Zeyi Jiang Zhengquan Li Shibo Kuang | 2022 | Particuology2022,20,10: | 0 |

| 16 | Magnetic field annihilation and reconnection driven by femtosecond lasers in inhomogeneous plasma显示文摘The process of fast magnetic reconnection driven by intense ultra-short laser pulses in underdense plasma is investigated by particle-in-cell simulations. In the wakefield of such laser pulses, quasi-static magnetic fields at a few mega-Gauss are generated due to nonvanishing cross product ▽(n/) × p. Excited in an inhomogeneous plasma of decreasing density, the quasi-static magnetic field structure is shown to drift quickly both in lateral and longitudinal directions. When two parallel-propagating laser pulses with close focal spot separation are used, such field drifts can develop into magnetic reconnection(annihilation) in their overlapping region, resulting in the conversion of magnetic energy to kinetic energy of particles. The reconnection rate is found to be much higher than the value obtained in the Hall magnetic reconnection model. | 17 | Th-MOF showing six-fold imide-sealed pockets for middle-sizeseparation of propane from natural gas显示文摘Separation of propane from natural gas is of great importance to industry.However,in light of size-based separation,there still lacks effective method to directly separate propane from natural gas,due to the comparable physical properties for these light alkanes(C1–C4)and the middle size of propane.In this work,we found that a new Th-metal-organic framework(MOF)could be an ideal solution for this issue.The Th-MOF takes UiO-66-type structure,but with the pocket sealed by six-fold imide groups;this not only precisely reduces the size of pocket to exactly match propane,but also enhances the host–guest interactions through multiple(C)H(^(δ+))∙∙∙(^(δ−))O(C)interactions.As a result,highly selective adsorption of propane over methane,ethane,and butane was observed,implying unique middle-size separation.The actual separation was confirmed by breakthrough experiments of simulated natural gas,confirming its superior application in direct separation of propane from natural gas.The separation mechanism,as unveiled by both theoretical calculation and comparative experiments,is due to the six-fold imide-sealed pocket that could effectively distinguish propane from other light alkanes through both size effect and host–guest interactions. | Li Wang Wenhui Zhang Jie Ding Lele Gong Rajamani Krishna Youyuan Ran Lan Chen Feng Luo | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,2: | 0 |

| 19 | Low ambient temperature and air pollution are associated with hospitalization incidence of coronary artery disease:Insights from a cross-sectional study in Northeast China显示文摘Background:Previous studies have established a link between fluctuations in climate and increased mortality due to coronary artery disease(CAD).However,there remains a need to explore and clarify the evidence for associations between meteorological changes and hospitalization incidences related to CAD and its subtypes,especially in cold regions.This study aimed to systematically investigate the relationship between exposure to meteorological changes,air pollutants,and hospitalization for CAD in cold regions.Methods:We conducted a cross-sectional study using hospitalization records of 86,483 CAD patients between January 1,2009,and December 31,2019.Poisson regression analysis,based on generalized additive models,was applied to estimating the influence of hospitalization for CAD.Results:Significant associations were found between low ambient temperature[-10℃,RR=1.65;95%CI:(1.28-2.13)]and the incidence of hospitalization for CAD within a lag of 0-14 days.Furthermore,O_(3)[95.50μg/m^(3),RR=12;95%CI:(1.03-1.21)]and NO_(2)[48.70μg/m^(3),RR=1.0895%CI:(1.01-1.15)]levels were identified as primary air pollutants affecting the incidence of CAD,ST-segment-elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI),and non-STEMI(NSTEMI)within the same lag period.Furthermore,O_(3)[95.50μg/m^(3),RR=1.12;95%CI:(1.03-1.21)]and NO_(2)[48.70μg/m^(3),RR=1.0895%CI:(1.01-1.15)]levels were identified as primary air pollutants affecting the incidence of CAD,ST-segment-elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI),and non-STEMI(NSTEMI)within the same lag period.The effect curve of CAD hospitalization incidence significantly increased at lag days 2 and 4 when NO_(2)and O_(3)concentrations were higher,with a pronounced effect at 7 days,dissipating by lag 14 days.No significant associations were observed between exposure to PM,SO_(2),air pressure,humidity,or wind speed and hospitalization incidences due to CAD and its subtypes.Conclusion:Our findings suggest a positive correlation between short-term exposure to low ambient temperatures or air pollutants(O_(3)and NO_(2))and hospitalizations for CAD,STEMI,and NSTEMI.These results could aid the development of effective preparedness strategies for frequent extreme weather events and support clinical and public health practices aimed at reducing the disease burden associated with current and future abnormal weather events. | Rui Jiang Lingling Xu Yue Liu Guangna Zhao Chun Xing Youyuan Li Yongchen Wang | 2023 | Frigid Zone Medicine2023,3,4: | 0 |
