| 1 | Evidence for charge and spin density waves in single crystals of La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7) and La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(6)显示文摘Charge and spin orders are intimately related to superconductivity in copper oxide superconductors.Elucidation of the competing orders in various nickel oxide compounds is crucial,given the fact that superconductivity has been discovered in Nd_(0.8)Sr_(0.2)NiO_(2)films.Herein,we report structural,electronic transport,magnetic,and thermodynamic characterizations of single crystals of La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7)and La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(6).La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7)is metallic with mixed Ni^(2+)and Ni^(3+)valent states.Resistivity measurements yield two transition-like kinks at~110 and 153 K.The kink at 153 K is further revealed from magnetization and specific heat measurements,indicative of the formation of charge and spin density waves.La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(6)single crystals obtained from the topochemical reduction of La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7)are insulating and show an anomaly at~176 K on magnetic susceptibility.The transition-like behaviors of La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7)and La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(6)are analogous to those observed in La_(4)Ni_(3)O_(10) and La_(4)Ni_(3)O_(8),suggesting that charge and spin density waves are a common feature in the ternary La-Ni-O system with mixed-valent states of nickel. | Zengjia Liu Hualei Sun Mengwu Huo Xiaoyan Ma Yi Ji Enkui Yi Lisi Li Hui Liu Jia Yu Ziyou Zhang Zhiqiang Chen Feixiang Liang Hongliang Dong Hanjie Guo Dingyong Zhong Bing Shen Shiliang Li Meng Wang | 2023 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023，66，1： | 2 |

| 5 | Coastal wetlands in Lianyungang,Jiangsu Province,China:probably the most important site globally for the Asian Dowitcher(Limnodromus semipalmatus)显示文摘Background:Despite an increasing number of surveys and a growing interest in birdwatching,the population and distribution of Asian Dowitcher(Limnodromus semipalmatus),a species endemic to the East Asian-Australasian and Central Asian Flyways,remains poorly understood,and published information about the species is largely outdated.In boreal spring 2019,over 22,432 Asian Dowitchers were recorded in a coastal wetland at Lianyungang,Jiangsu Prov-ince,China,constituting 97.5%of its estimated global population.Methods:In 2019 and 2020,we conducted field surveys at Lianyungang to determine the numbers of Asian Dow-itchers using the area during both southward and northward migrations.We also assessed the distribution and abun-dance of Asian Dowitchers elsewhere along the China coast by searching literature and consulting expert opinion.Results:The coastal wetlands of Lianyungang are the most important stopover site for Asian Dowitchers during both northward and southward migrations;they supported over 90%of the estimated global population during north-ward migration in two consecutive years(May 2019 and 2020).This area also supported at least 15.83%and 28.42%(or 30.74%and 53.51%using modelled estimates)of the global population during southward migration in 2019 and 2020 respectively.Coastal wetlands in the west and north of Bohai Bay also have been important stopover sites for the species since the 1990s.Although comprehensive,long-term monitoring data are lacking,available evidence sug-gests that the population of the species may have declined.Conclusions:The high concentration of Asian Dowitchers at Lianyungang during migration means the species is highly susceptible to human disturbances and natural stochastic events.The coastal wetlands of Lianyungang should be protected and potentially qualify for inclusion in China’s forthcoming nomination for World Heritage listing of Migratory Bird Sanctuaries along the Coast of Yellow Sea-Bohai Gulf of China(Phase II)in 2023.Additional research is needed to understand Asian Dowitchers’distribution and ecology,as well as why such a high proportion of their population rely on the Lianyungang coast. | Ziyou Yang Jing Li Yongxiang Han Chris J.Hassell Kar-Sin Katherine Leung David S.Melville Yat-tung Yu Lin Zhang Chi-Yeung Choi | 2021 | Avian Research2021，12，3： | 1 |

| 10 | Therapeutic Efficacy of Complex Decongestive Therapy in the Treatment of Elephantiasis of the Lower Extremities显示文摘Objective To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of complex decongestive therapy in the treatment of elephantiasis of the lower extremities.Methods Seventeen patients with unilateral lower limb elephantiasis were included in the study(5 with primary lymphedema and 12 with secondary lymphedema).All patients were treated with one course(4 weeks)of complex decongestive therapy.Changes inextracellular fluid(ECF),BMI,circumferences,and skin properties including skin stiffness(SF),percent water content(PWC),and trans-epidermal water loss(TEWL)were measured before and after treatment.Results The“elephantiasis-like”appearance of the affected limb was greatly improved after treatment.The ECF,BMI,and circumferences were significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.001)with an average ECF of 2.97±1.82 L,BMI of 1.638±2.647 kg/m^2,and circumference of 6.58±2.79 cm.The values of PWC,TEWL,and SFwere 50.5%±10.6%,18.55±10.2 g/m^2 h,and 0.161±0.176 N,respectively,before treatment and 36.05%±7%,8.3±2.07 g/m^2h,and 0.086±0.038 N,respectively,after treatment,there by showing significant decreases(P<0.05).Conclusion Complex decongestive therapy is effective in the treatment of advanced stages of chronic lymphedema. | Jiajia CHEN Li WANG Linghua HAN Ningfei LIU Ziyou YU | 2020 | Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2020，2，1： | 0 |
