1Removal of Pb(Ⅱ) from aqueous solution by hydrous manganese dioxide:Adsorption behavior and mechanism显示文摘Hydrous manganese dioxide (HMO) synthesized by redox of potassium permanganate and hydrogen peroxide was used as an adsorbent for Pb(Ⅱ) removal.The specific surface area,pore volume and BJH pore diameter of the HMO were 79.31m2/g,0.07cm3/g and 3.38 nm,respectively.The adsorption equilibrium at 298K could be well described by the Langmuir isotherm equation with q max value of 352.55mg/g.The negative values of G and the positive values of H and S indicated the adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic.The pseudo second-order equation could best fit the adsorption data.The value of the calculated activation energy for Pb(Ⅱ) adsorption onto the HMO was 38.23 kJ/mol.The uptake of Pb(Ⅱ) by HMO was correlated with increasing surface hydroxyl group content and the main adsorbed speciation was PbOH+.The final chemical state of Pb(Ⅱ) on the surface of HMO was similar to PbO.HMO was a promising candidate for Pb(Ⅱ) removal from aqueous solution.Meng Xu Hongjie Wang Di Lei Dan Qu Yujia Zhai Yili Wang 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,3:9
2Preliminary results of the spilling effects on the oscillation of a pipe with compressible fluid inside显示文摘It is known to all,the spilling of pipeline may cause serious problems,especially when the pipe conveying petroleum,natural gas or other toxic substance.There are countless accidents during past century.Once the spilling occurs,the vibration of the pipe would aggravate spill situation and even result in crack of the pipe.The consequence will be more severe when the fluid inside is compressible.To prevent the detriment of the spilling model is developed by assuming the leakages as orifices or nozzles and a 2-D vertical simply supported pipe is selected to analyze the phenomena of the oscillation.Combining these two models,the oscillation model for the pipe with leakage is set up and the spilling effect is analyzed by numerical method.The amplitude of the pipe oscillation and the normal stress enlarge as the internal velocity increased,while the shear stress changes very little.Wei Zhang Ye Li Shuai Meng Yujia Di Ojuhao Hu 2017Theoretical & Applied Mechanics Letters2017,7,1:1
3Growth Behavior of Rubrene Thin Films on Hexagonal Boron Nitride in the Early Stage显示文摘Two-dimensional materials,with an in-plane ordered and dangling-bonding-free surface,are ideal substrates for fabricating high-quality crystalline thin films.Here,we show a systematic study on the growth of a benchmark organic semiconductor,rubrene,on hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN)substrate via physical vapor deposition from the initial amorphous phase to the final crystalline phase;the role of temperature in such transition and the epitaxy relationship between rubrene and h-BN are revealed.With the increase of substrate temperature,the critical thickness of amorphous-crystalline-transition decreases and the morphology of crystalline phase also evolves from porous to terrace-like.When substrate temperature reaches>100℃,the critical thickness reduces to only 0.5 nm and a precise layer-by-layer growth from the very first layer is achieved,which is quite rare for rubrene growing on other substrates.The high ordering can be attributed to the fine epitaxy relationship between rubrene films and the h-BN surface lattice,and this film demonstrates good charge transport ability with a p-type field-effect mobility of>1 cm^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1).Yujia Wei Di Xue Lianlian Ji Jie Lu Qi Wang Xingyu Jiang Yinghui Sun Zi Wang Lizhen Huang Lifeng Chi 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,11:0
4A Multi-Domain Compression Radiative Transfer Model for the Fengyun-4 Geosynchronous Interferometric Infrared Sounder (GIIRS)显示文摘Forward radiative transfer(RT)models are essential for atmospheric applications such as remote sensing and weather and climate models,where computational efficiency becomes equally as important as accuracy for high-resolution hyperspectral measurements that need rigorous RT simulations for thousands of channels.This study introduces a fast and accurate RT model for the hyperspectral infrared(HIR)sounder based on principal component analysis(PCA)or machine learning(i.e.,neural network,NN).The Geosynchronous Interferometric Infrared Sounder(GIIRS),the first HIR sounder onboard the geostationary Fengyun-4 satellites,is considered to be a candidate example for model development and validation.Our method uses either PCA or NN(PCA/NN)twice for the atmospheric transmittance and radiance,respectively,to reduce the number of independent but similar simulations to accelerate RT simulations;thereby,it is referred to as a multi-domain compression model.The first PCA/NN gives monochromatic gas transmittance in both spectral and atmospheric pressure domains for each gas independently.The second PCA/NN is performed in the traditional spectral radiance domain.Meanwhile,a new method is introduced to choose representative variables for the PCA/NN scheme developments.The model is three orders of magnitude faster than the standard line-by-line-based simulations with averaged brightness temperature difference(BTD)less than 0.1 K,and the compressions based on PCA or NN methods result in comparable efficiency and accuracy.Our fast model not only avoids an excessively complicated transmittance scheme by using PCA/NN but is also highly flexible for hyperspectral instruments with similar spectral ranges simply by updating the corresponding spectral response functions.Mingyue SU Chao LIU Di DI Tianhao LE Yujia SUN Jun LI Feng LU Peng ZHANG Byung-Ju SOHN 2023Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2023,40,10:0
