3Characterization of pyrolytic lignins with different activities obtained from bio-oil显示文摘Pyrolytic lignin, the water-insoluble fraction in bio-oil, often shows a high content and has strong intermolecular interactions with other compounds in bio-oil. In order to obtain pure pyrolytic lignin and facilitate the utilization of aqueous phase obtained from water extraction of bio-oil, methanol–water extraction method was employed to further separate the bio-oil water-insoluble phase in this paper. Different technologies, including Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography, and nuclear magnetic resonance, were adopted to characterize the structures of pyrolytic lignins with different activities obtained through this method. Both the heating value and the polymerization degree of high-molecular-weight pyrolytic lignin were higher than those of low-molecular-weight pyrolytic lignin. The molecular weight distribution of high-molecular-weight pyrolytic lignin was relatively wider, among which the contents of dimers to pentamers all accounted for 12% –18%,while the low-molecular-weight pyrolytic lignin mainly consisted of trimers(75.38%). The pyrolytic lignins had similar basic structures, both of which contained syringyl and guaiacyl units, whereas the low-molecular-weight pyrolytic lignin had more abundant syringyl units, reactive carbonyl groups and hydroxyl groups. 4Skin care design for lithium metal protection with cosmetics introduction显示文摘Lithium metal anode(LMA)is the ultimate'Holy Grail'electrode for next generation high-energy-density batteries.Nevertheless,its instinct high reactivity is a formidable challenge and has intensified side reactions,destabilized the electrode/electrolyte interface and restricted the operating conditions strictly,thus hampering its practical application.Here,we'make up'the Li metal(M-Li)by constructing vaselinecoated layer by a simple dip-coating or casting method.With the chemically stable and hydrophobic vaseline protective layer,the stability of Li towards humid and corrosive atmosphere has been greatly improved.The M-Li guaranteed stable and prolonged cycling life after the anode suffering from corrosion in moist air(relative humidity-65%)or corrosive electrolyte(with 10,000 ppm H2O or S)both in symmetric cells and LiFePO4 full cells.This work illustrates a convenient,economic,and industrial applicable method for stable LMA.Yurong Tu Qingtao Ma Aoxuan Wang Xinyue Zhang Guojie Li Jiayan Luo Xingjiang Liu 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,9:1
5A Cloud-Fog Enabled and Privacy-Preserving IoT Data Market Platform Based on Blockchain显示文摘The dynamic landscape of the Internet of Things(IoT)is set to revolutionize the pace of interaction among entities,ushering in a proliferation of applications characterized by heightened quality and diversity.Among the pivotal applications within the realm of IoT,as a significant example,the Smart Grid(SG)evolves into intricate networks of energy deployment marked by data integration.This evolution concurrently entails data interchange with other IoT entities.However,there are also several challenges including data-sharing overheads and the intricate establishment of trusted centers in the IoT ecosystem.In this paper,we introduce a hierarchical secure data-sharing platform empowered by cloud-fog integration.Furthermore,we propose a novel non-interactive zero-knowledge proof-based group authentication and key agreement protocol that supports one-to-many sharing sets of IoT data,especially SG data.The security formal verification tool shows that the proposed scheme can achieve mutual authentication and secure data sharing while protecting the privacy of data providers.Compared with previous IoT data sharing schemes,the proposed scheme has advantages in both computational and transmission efficiency,and has more superiority with the increasing volume of shared data or increasing number of participants.Yurong Luo Wei You Chao Shang Xiongpeng Ren Jin Cao Hui Li 2024Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2024,139,5:0
6Research on Pathways of How Digital Transformation Affects the Business Performance of MEEC Enterprises in Chengdu显示文摘This paper aims to examine the impact of digital transformations on the business performance of the meetings,expositions,events,and conventions(MEEC)industry in Chengdu by conducting an empirical analysis of 68 MEEC enterprises in the city.The study employed the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA)method to explore the pathways and factors involved.Drawing on the theory of synergetics,nine condition variables were carefully selected from four dimensions:digital technologies,digital strategy,digital infrastructure,and digital innovation.The findings revealed that digital transformations were an intricate systematic process,whereby a single factor alone did not serve as a necessary condition for MEEC enterprises to achieve high business performance.The analysis identified five distinct pathways that would lead to high performance,which can be categorized into three distinct models:the“organization-human resources”dominated model,the“human resources-infrastructure”driven model,and the multi-factor coordination model.The analysis also identified two pathways that would result in low performance,categorized as the“basic condition absent”model.Notably,there was substantial heterogeneity observed in the configurational pathways in terms of the magnitude of the impact of digital transformation on business performance across MEEC enterprises of different sizes.This paper suggests that the government should assume the role of a platform,providing policy and financial support to MEEC enterprises to help guide them through the process of digital transformation and that MEEC enterprises themselves should seize the opportunities arising from digital transformation to strengthen their digital infrastructure construction,human resources development,and innovation in brand building.This study presents empirical evidence that contributes to the understanding of the transformation process of MEEC enterprises within the digital economy era,as well as valuable insights into understanding the channels and internal conditions involved in digital transformations.Zhu Yurong Luo Ziling 2024Contemporary Social Sciences2024,9,1:0
7Characterization of natural peptides in Pheretima by integrating proteogenomics and label-free peptidomics显示文摘Pheretima,also called“earthworms”,is a well-known animal-derived traditional Chinese medicine that is extensively used in over 50 Chinese patent medicines(CPMs)in Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2020 edition).However,its zoological origin is unclear,both in the herbal market and CPMs.In this study,a strategy for integrating in-house annotated protein databases constructed from close evolutionary relationship-sourced RNA sequencing data from public archival resources and various sequencing algorithms(restricted search,open search,and de novo)was developed to characterize the phenotype of natural peptides of three major commercial species of Pheretima,including Pheretima aspergillum(PA),Pheretima vulgaris(PV),and Metaphire magna(MM).We identified 10,477 natural peptides in the PA,7,451 in PV,and 5,896 in MM samples.Five specific signature peptides were screened and then validated using synthetic peptides;these demonstrated robust specificity for the authentication of PA,PV,and MM.Finally,all marker peptides were successfully applied to identify the zoological origins of Brain Heart capsules and Xiaohuoluo pills,revealing the inconsistent Pheretima species used in these CPMs.In conclusion,our integrated strategy could be used for the in-depth characterization of natural peptides of other animal-derived traditional Chinese medicines,especially non-model species with poorly annotated protein databases.Xiaoxiao Luo Qirui Bi Dongdong Huang Yun Li Changliang Yao Jianqing Zhang Wenlong Wei Jiayuan Li Zhenwei Li Jingxian Zhang Shen Ji Yurong Wang De-an Guo 2023Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,9:0

9RNA sequencing-based optimization of biological lipid droplets for sonodynamic therapy to reverse tumor hypoxia and elicit robust immune response显示文摘Mitochondria-targeted sonodynamic therapy(SDT)is a promising strategy to inhibit tumor growth and activate the anti-tumor immune responses.Identifying the mechanisms underlying mitochondria-targeted SDT,further optimizing its efficacy,developing novel sonosensitizer carriers with good biocompatibility pose major challenges to the clinical practice of SDT.In this study,we investigated the mechanisms of mitochondria-targeted SDT and demonstrated that it suppressed the mitochondrial electron transport chain(ETC)in pancreatic cancer cells through RNA-sequencing analysis.Based on these findings,we constructed the functional lipid droplets(LDs)(CPI-613/IR780@LDs),which combined mitochondria-targeted SDT with the tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle inhibitor CPI-613.CPI-613/IR780@LDs synergistically inhibited the TCA cycle and the ETC of mitochondrial aerobic respiration to reduce oxygen consumption and increase reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation at the tumor site,thus enhancing the efficacy of SDT in hypoxic pancreatic cancer.Moreover,the combination of mitochondria-targeted SDT and anti-PD-1 antibody exhibited excellent tumor inhibition and activated anti-tumor immune responses by increasing tumorinfiltrating CD8+T cells and reducing regulatory T cells,synergistically arresting the growth of both primary and metastatic pancreatic tumors.Meanwhile,lipid droplets are cell-derived biological carriers with natural mitochondrial targeting ability and can achieve efficient hydrophobic drug loading through active phagocytosis.Therefore,the functional lipid droplet-based SDT combined with anti-PD-1 antibody holds great potential in the clinical treatment of hypoxic pancreatic cancer.Zhan Shi Xue Wang Jiali Luo Yiqing Zeng Qing Wen Yurong Hong Tao Zhang Pintong Huang 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:0
10High-performance non-Fermi-liquid metallic thermoelectric materials显示文摘Searching for high-performance thermoelectric(TE)materials in the paradigm of narrow-bandgap semiconductors is hampered by a bottleneck.Here we report on the discovery of metallic compounds,TiFe_(x)Cu_(2x−1)Sb and TiFe1.33Sb,showing the thermopower exceeding many TE semiconductors and the dimensionless figure of merits zTs comparable with the state-of-the-art TE materials.A quasi-linear temperature(T)dependent electrical resistivity in 2–700 K and the logarithmic T-dependent electronic specific heat at low temperature coexist with the high thermopower,highlighting the strong intercoupling of the non-Fermi-liquid(NFL)quantum critical behavior of electrons with TE transports.Electronic structure analysis reveals a competition between the antiferromagnetic(AFM)ordering and Kondo-like spin compensation as well as a parallel two-channel Kondo effect.The T-dependent magnetic susceptibility agrees with the quantum critical scenario of strong local correlation.Our work demonstrates the correlation among high TE performance,NFL quantum criticality,and magnetic fluctuation,which opens up directions for future research.Zirui Dong Yubo Zhang Jun Luo Ying Jiang Zhiyang Yu Nan Zhao Liusuo Wu Yurong Ruan Fang Zhang Kai Guo Jiye Zhang Wenqing Zhang 2023npj Computational Materials2023,,1:0
