1Continuous-variable quantum key distribution with on-chip light sources显示文摘Integrated quantum key distribution(QKD)systems based on photonic chips have high scalability and stability,and are promising for further construction of global quantum communications networks.On-chip quantum light sources are a critical component of a fully integrated QKD system;especially a continuous-variable QKD(CVQKD)system based on coherent detection,which has extremely high requirements for the light sources.Here,for what we believe is the first time,we designed and fabricated two on-chip tunable lasers for CV-QKD,and demonstrated a high-performance system based on these sources.Because of the high output power,fine tunability,and narrow linewidth,the involved on-chip lasers guarantee the accurate shot-noise-limited detection of quantum signals,center wavelength alignment of nonhomologous lasers,and suppression of untrusted excess noise.The system’s secret key rate can reach 0.75 Mb/s at a 50 km fiber distance,and the secure transmission distance can exceed 100 km.Our results mark a breakthrough toward building a fully integrated CV-QKD,and pave the way for a reliable and efficient terrestrial quantum-secure metropolitan area network.LANG LI TAO WANG XINHANG LI PENG HUANG YUYAO GUO LIANGJUN LU LINJIE ZHOU GUIHUA ZENG 2023Photonics Research2023,11,4:0
2Collaborative optimization of linear vibrating screen screening efficiency and dynamic response stability based on coupled DEM-MBK simulation显示文摘The dynamic response stability of the vibrating screen is an important factor affecting the screening effect and the structural performance of the vibrating screen.In this paper,to improve dynamic response stability and screening efficiency,we optimized the configuration of linear screening process parameters based on the co-optimization method with dual objectives via the virtual experiment.Firstly,a coupled DEM-MBK simulation model was established according to the dynamics of linear screen,and the dy-namic response law of the screen machine under material impact was investigated.Secondly,the quantitative index of dynamic response stability according to the time-domain characteristics of the centroid amplitude was established.The trend and significance of three types of screening process pa-rameters,including excitation,damping and structure,on the screening efficiency and dynamic response stability were analyzed through virtual orthogonal experiments.Finally,a parameter configuration scheme to achieve co-optimization was proposed based on the comprehensive balance method.The virtual experiment results show that the screening efficiency and dynamic response stability of the proposed scheme are improved by 3.28%and 49.07%,respectively,compared with the empirical parameter configuration.Obviously,the co-optimization method can maintain high screening efficiency and dynamic response stability at the same time,which is beneficial to improve the service life of the screen surface and screen body.Xuhui Xia Lingxiao Gou Zelin Zhang Lei Wang Yuyao Guo Weimin Jing 2023Particuology2023,,7:0
3PHD3 inhibits colon cancer cell metastasis through the occludin-p38 pathway显示文摘Prolyl hydroxylase 3(PHD3)hydroxylates HIFαin the presence of oxygen,leading to HIFαdegradation.PHD3 inhibits tumorigenesis.However,the underlying mechanism is not well understood.Herein,we demonstrate that PHD3 inhibits the metastasis of colon cancer cells through the occludin-p38 MAPK pathway independent of its hydroxylase activity.We find that PHD3 inhibits colon cancer cell metastasis in the presence of the PHD inhibitor DMOG,and prolyl hydroxylase-deficient PHD3(H196A)suppresses cell metastasis as well.PHD3 controls the stability of the tight junction protein occludin in a hydroxylase-independent manner.We further find that PHD3-inhibited colon cancer cell metastasis is rescued by knockdown of occludin and that occludin acts as a negative regulator of cell metastasis,implying that PHD3 suppresses metastasis through occludin.Furthermore,knockdown of occludin induces phosphorylation of p38 MAPK,and the p38 inhibitor SB203580 impedes cell migration and invasion induced by occludin knockdown,indicating that occludin functions through p38.Moreover,knockdown of occludin enhances the expression of MKK3/6,the upstream kinase of p38,while overexpression of occludin decreases its expression.Our results suggest that PHD3 inhibits the metastasis of colon cancer cells through the occludin-p38 pathway independent of its hydroxylase activity.These findings reveal a previously undiscovered mechanism underlying the regulation of cancer cell metastasis by PHD3 and highlight a noncanonical hydroxylaseindependent function of PHD3 in the suppression of cancer cells.Yuyao Li Tanglong Yuan Hongwei Zhang Shuting Liu Jie Lun Jing Guo Yu Wang Yuying Zhang Jing Fang 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,11:0
4From macro to microarchitecture:reviews and trends of SRAM-based compute-in-memory circuits显示文摘The rapid growth of CMOS logic circuits has surpassed the advancements in memory access,leading to significant“memory wall”bottlenecks,particularly in artificial intelligence applications.To address this challenge,compute-in-memory(CIM)has emerged as a promising approach to enhance the performance,area efficiency,and energy efficiency of computing systems.By enabling memory cells to perform parallel computations,CIM improves data reuse and minimizes data movement between the memory and the processor.This study conducts a comprehensive review of various domains of SRAM-based CIM macros and their associated computing paradigms.Additionally,it presents a survey of recent SRAM-CIM macros,with a specific focus on the key challenges and design tradeoffs involved.Furthermore,this research identifies potential future trends in SRAM-CIM macro-level design,including hybrid computing,precision enhancement,and operator reconfiguration.These trends aim to resolve the tradeoff between computational accuracy,energy efficiency,and support for diverse operators within the SRAM-CIM framework.At the microarchitecture level,two possible solutions for tradeoffs are proposed:chiplet integration and sparsity optimization.Finally,research perspectives are proposed for future development.Zhaoyang ZHANG Jinwu CHEN Xi CHEN An GUO Bo WANG Tianzhu XIONG Yuyao KONG Xingyu PU Shengnan HE Xin SI Jun YANG 2023Science China(Information Sciences)2023,66,10:0
5Oscillation-specific nodal alterations in early to middle stages Parkinson’s disease显示文摘Background:Different oscillations of brain networks could carry different dimensions of brain integration.We aimed to investigate oscillation-specific nodal alterations in patients with Parkinson’s disease(PD)across early stage to middle stage by using graph theory-based analysis.Methods:Eighty-eight PD patients including 39 PD patients in the early stage(EPD)and 49 patients in the middle stage(MPD)and 36 controls were recruited in the present study.Graph theory-based network analyses from three oscillation frequencies(slow-5:0.01–0.027 Hz;slow-4:0.027–0.073 Hz;slow-3:0.073–0.198 Hz)were analyzed.Nodal metrics(e.g.nodal degree centrality,betweenness centrality and nodal efficiency)were calculated.Results:Our results showed that(1)a divergent effect of oscillation frequencies on nodal metrics,especially on nodal degree centrality and nodal efficiency,that the anteroventral neocortex and subcortex had high nodal metrics within low oscillation frequencies while the posterolateral neocortex had high values within the relative high oscillation frequency was observed,which visually showed that network was perturbed in PD;(2)PD patients in early stage relatively preserved nodal properties while MPD patients showed widespread abnormalities,which was consistently detected within all three oscillation frequencies;(3)the involvement of basal ganglia could be specifically observed within slow-5 oscillation frequency in MPD patients;(4)logistic regression and receiver operating characteristic curve analyses demonstrated that some of those oscillation-specific nodal alterations had the ability to well discriminate PD patients from controls or MPD from EPD patients at the individual level;(5)occipital disruption within high frequency(slow-3)made a significant influence on motor impairment which was dominated by akinesia and rigidity.Conclusions:Coupling various oscillations could provide potentially useful information for large-scale network and progressive oscillation-specific nodal alterations were observed in PD patients across early to middle stages.Xiaojun Guan Tao Guo Qiaoling Zeng Jiaqiu Wang Cheng Zhou Chunlei Liu Hongjiang Wei Yuyao Zhang Min Xuan Quanquan Gu Xiaojun Xu Peiyu Huang Jiali Pu Baorong Zhang Min-Ming Zhang 2019Translational Neurodegeneration2019,8,1:0
6Ab initio calculation of the ground and first excited states of the lithium dimer显示文摘Based on a high level ab initio calculation which is earned out with the multireference configuration interaction method under the aug-cc-pVXZ(AVXZ)basis sets,X=T,Q,5,the accurate potential energy curves(PECs)of the ground state X^(1)Σ_(g)^(+)and the first excited state A^(1)Σ_(u)^(+)of Li_(2)are constructed.By fitting the ab initio potential energy points with the MurrellSorbie potential function,the analytic potential energy functions(APEFs)are obtained.The molecular bond length at the equilibnum(R_(e)),the potential well depth(D_(e)),and the spectroscopic constants(B_(e),ω_(e),α_(e),andω_(e)χ_(e))for the X^(1)Σ_(g)^(+)state and the A^(1)Σ_(u)^(+)state are deduced from the APEFs.The vibrational energy levels of the two electronic states are obtained by solving the time-independent Schrodmger equation with the Founer gnd Hamiltonian method.All the spectroscopic constants and the vibrational levels agree well with the experimental results.The Franck-Condon factors(FCFs)corresponding to the transitions from the vibrational level(v’=0)of the ground state to the vibrational levels(v'=0-74)of the first excited state have been calculated.The FCF for the vibronic transition of A^(1)Σ_(u)^(+)(v'=0)←X^(1)Σ_(g)^(+)(v’=0)is the strongest.These PECs and corresponding spectroscopic constants provide reliable theoretical references to both the spectroscopic and the molecular dynamic studies of the Li_(2)dimer.JianJun Qi YuYao Bai QianQian Guo Yong-Chang Han Maksim B Shundalau 2021Communications in Theoretical Physics2021,73,12:0
