1Geochemical Characteristics and Genetic Types of Natural Gas in the Xinchang Gas Field, Sichuan Basin, SW China显示文摘The molecular compositions and stable carbon and hydrogen isotopic compositions of natural gas from the Xinchang gas field in the Sichuan Basin were investigated to determine the genetic types. The natural gas is mainly composed of methane (88.99%–98.01%), and the dryness coefficient varies between 0.908 and 0.997. The gas generally displays positive alkane carbon and hydrogen isotopic series. The geochemical characteristics and gas-source correlation indicate that the gases stored in the 5^(th) member of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation are coal-type gases which are derived from source rocks in the stratum itself. The gases reservoired in the 4^(th) member of the Xujiahe Formation and Jurassic strata in the Xinchang gas field are also coal-type gases that are derived from source rocks in the 3^(rd) and 4^(th) members of the Xujiahe Formation. The gases reservoired in the 2^(nd) member of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation are mainly coal-type gases with small amounts of oil-type gas that is derived from source rocks in the stratum itself. This is accompanied by a small amount of contribution brought by source rocks in the Upper Triassic Ma'antang and Xiaotangzi formations. 2Laser Quenching and Ion Sulphidizing Complex Surface Treat Technology for Diesel Engine Cylinder显示文摘In order to solve the problem of wear-out-failure of diesel engine cylinder, the laser-quenching and low temperature ion sulfurizing complex surface treatment technology was operated on the surface of 42MnCr52 steel. And the tribological properties of the complex layer were investigated. The experimental results indicated that the complex layer was composed of soft surface sulphide layer and sub-surface laser-quenching harden layer, and showed excellent friction-reduction and wear-resistance performance at high temperature. The synergistic effect of the complex layer resulted in 20% increase in hardness, 10% reduction in friction coefficient and 50% reduction in wear weight loss, respectively, compared with those of the standard samples. 3Near infra-red light treatment of Alzheimer's disease显示文摘Alzheimers disease(AD)is a chronic neurodegenerative disease.The symptoms include memoryand spatial learning dificulties,language disorders,and loss of motivation,which get worse overtime,eventually ending in death.No ffective treatments are available for AD,currently.Currenttreatments only attenuate symptoms temporarily and are associated with severe side ffects.Nearinfra-red(NIR)light has been studied for a long time.We investigated the effect of NIR on ADusing a transgenic mouse model,which was obtained by co-injecting two vectors carrying ADmutations in amyloid precursor protein(APP)and presenilin-i(PSEN1)into C57BL/6J mice.The irradiation equipment consisted of an accommodating box and an LED array.The wave-length of NIR light emitted from LED was between 1040 nm and 1090 nm.The power densitydelivered at the level of the mice was approximately 15 mW/cm^(2),Firstly,we treated the micewith NIR for 40 days,Then,the irradiation was suspended for 28 days.Finally,another 15 daystreatment was brought to mice.We conducted Morris water maze and immunofluorescenceanalysis to evaluate the effects of treatment.Immunofuorescence analysis was based on mea-suring the quantity of plaques in mouse brain slices,Our results show that NIR light improvesmemory and spatial learning ability and reduces plaques moderately.NIR light represents apotential treatment for AD.Mengmeng Han Qiyan Wang Xue Wang Yuhui Zeng Yong Huang Qingqiang Meng Jun Zhang Xunbin Wei 2018Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2018,,1:0
4Anti-inflammatory and anabolic biphasic scaffold facilitates osteochondral tissue regeneration in osteoarthritic joints显示文摘Osteochondral defects (OCD) are common but difficult to heal due to the low intrinsic repair capacity of cartilage and its complex hierarchical structure. In osteoarthritis (OA), OCD become more challenging to repair as both cartilage and subchondral bone regeneration are further impaired due to the arthritic environment. Numerous biomaterials have been developed and tested in osteochondral defects while ignoring the inflammatory environment. To target this challenging underlying pathophysiology, we designed and fabricated a biphasic porous and degradable scaffold incorporating anti-inflammatory and anabolic molecules by low-temperature rapid prototyping technology, and its effects on promoting osteochondral regeneration were evaluated using our well-established OA-OCD rabbit model. The biphasic porous scaffolds consisted of poly lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) with kartogenin (KGN) for cartilage repair and PLGA and β-calcium phosphate (PLGA/β-TCP) with cinnamaldehyde (CIN) for subchondral bone repair. KGN is a molecule for promoting chondrogenesis and CIN is a phytomolecule for enhancing osteogenesis and alleviating inflammation. The biphasic scaffolds PLGA/KGN-PLGA/β-TCP/CIN (PK/PTC) with bio-mimic structure provided stable mechanical properties and exhibited excellent biocompatibility to support cell adhesion, proliferation, migration, and distribution. Furthermore, KGN and CIN within biphasic scaffolds could be released in a controlled and sustained mode, and the biphasic scaffold degraded slowly in vitro . Evaluating the repair of 16-weeks post-implantation into critically sized OA-OCD rabbit models revealed that the biphasic scaffold could promote subchondral bone and cartilage regeneration, as well as reverse subchondral osteosclerosis caused by inflammation in vivo .
