1Receding horizon control for multi-UAVs close formation control based on differential evolution显示文摘Close formation flight is one of the most complicated problems on multi-uninhabited aerial vehicles (UAVs) coordinated control. Based on the nonlinear model of multi-UAVs close formation, a novel type of control strategy of using hybrid receding horizon control (RHC) and differential evolution algorithm is proposed. The issue of multi-UAVs close formation is transformed into several on-line optimization problems at a series of receding horizons, while the differential evolution algorithm is adopted to optimize control sequences at each receding horizon. Then, based on the Markov chain model, the convergence of differential evolution is proved. The working process of RHC controller is presented in detail, and the stability of close formation controller is also analyzed. 2Levenberg-Marquardt based artificial physics method for mobile robot oscillation alleviation显示文摘This paper proposed a modified artificial physics(AP)method to solve the autonomous navigation problem for mobile robots in complex environments.The basic AP method tends to cause oscillations in the presence of obstacles and in narrow passages,which can result in time consumption.To alleviate oscillation,we modified the AP method using the Levenbery-Marquardt(LM)algorithm.In the modified AP method,we altered the original directions of AP forces to the Newton direction,and adjust the parameter by the LM algorithm.A series of comparative experimental results show that the modified AP method can achieve smoother trajectories with less time consumption.This demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of our proposed approach.ZHANG XiangYin DUAN HaiBin LUO QiNan 2014Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,9:6

4Integrative Analysis Reveals Enhanced Regulatory Effects of Human Long Intergenic Non-Coding RNAs in Lung Adenocarcinoma显示文摘Although there is an accumulating appreciation of the key roles that long intergenic non-coding RNAs(linc RNAs) play in diverse cellular processes, our knowledge of how linc RNAs function in cancer remains sparse. Here, we present a comprehensive landscape of RNA-seq transcriptome profiles of lung adenocarcinomas and their paired normal counterparts to unravel gene regulation rules of linc RNAs.Consistent with previous findings of co-expression between neighboring protein-coding genes, linc RNAs were typically co-expressed with their neighboring genes, which was found in both cancerous and normal tissues. By building a mathematical model based on correlated gene expression, we distinguished an additional subset of linc RNAs termed 'regulatory linc RNAs', representing their dominant roles in gene regulation. The number of regulatory linc RNAs was significantly higher in cancerous compared to normal tissues, and most of them positively regulated protein-coding genes in trans. Functional validation, using knockdown, determined that regulatory linc RNA,GAS5, affected its predicted protein-coding targets. Moreover, we discovered hundreds of differentially expressed regulatory linc RNAs with inclusion of some cancer-associated linc RNAs. 5Resorption Efficiency of Four Cations in Different Tree Species in a Subtropical Common Garden显示文摘High rainfall in subtropical regions can leach cation elements from ecosystems,which may limit plant growth.Plants often develop efficient resorption patterns to recycle elements,but there is relatively little available information on this topic.In February 2012,a common garden was established in a subtropical forest by planting dominant trees from the area.Green and senescent leaves were sampled from 11 tree species.The concentrations of potassium(K),calcium(Ca),sodium(Na)and magnesium(Mg)were determined,and the resorption efficiencies were calculated.The results showed significant K,Na and Mg resorption in most of the investigated tree species,while Ca mainly displayed accumulation.Evergreen coniferous and evergreen broad-leaved trees(such as Cunninghamia lanceolata,Pinus massoniana,Cinnamomum camphora,and Michelia macclurei)exhibited relatively higher resorption efficiencies of K(39.0%-87.5%)and Na(18.3%-50.2%)than deciduous broad-leaved trees.Higher Mg resorption efficiencies(>50%)were detected in Liriodendron chinense,C.lanceolata and P.massoniana than in other trees.Overall,evergreen coniferous and evergreen broad-leaved trees could show higher cation resorption than deciduous broad-leaved trees.K and Mg resorption efficiencies and Ca accumulation decrease with increasing nutrient concentrations in green leaves.Our results emphasize that nutrient resorption patterns largely depend on elements and plant functions,which provides new insights into the nutrient use strategies of subtropical plants and a reference for the selection of suitable tree species in this region.Yaoyi Zhang Xiangyin Ni Jing Yang Siyi Tan Shu Liao Dingyi Wang Kai Yue Fuzhong Wu 2022Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,1:2
6Design of high performance multilayer microwave absorbers using fast Pareto genetic algorithm显示文摘The application of the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm Ⅱ (NSGA-Ⅱ) in designing microwave absorbers is described in this paper. To obtain high performance coatings,we put forward three cost functions,which represent three objectives of strong-absorption,broad-bandwidth and thin structure,and study the tradeoffs between each other. Numerical calculations on available materials in 2―18 GHz are implemented to construct the Pareto front and Pareto-optimal surface for two and three objectives respectively. Results indicate that the NSGA-Ⅱ can work more efficiently and effectively than traditional Pareto genetic algorithms. Additionally,we present several particular designs from the above Pareto front (surface) for potential applications in different frequency bands. 19MicroRNA or NMD:Why Have Two RNA Silencing Systems?显示文摘MicroRNA(miRNA)-mediated RNA silencing and nonsense-mediated decay(NMD) are two conserved RNA-level regulatory pathways.Although they are mechanically different,both can regulate target genes by RNA degradation and translational repression.Moreover,studies of individual target genes indicated that these two pathways can be involved in the same processes(e.g.,development and stress responses).These facts raise an important question that whether these two systems are cooperative,interchangeable or optimal for regulation of different sorts of genes.We addressed this by comparing miRNA and NMD targets in Arabidopsis thaliana at the genome-wide scale.We find no more overlap in the genes targeted by both systems than expected by chance.Moreover,the sorts of genes or pathways regulated by these systems are categorically different on several cross-correlating fronts.While miRNA targets show enrichment in the process of development,metabolism and transcription,NMD targets are associated with stress responses but otherwise poorly annotated.Validated miRNA targets are more highly expressed,less variably expressed and slower evolving.These differences suggest that the modes of regulation need not be interchangeable.Instead,we suggest that miRNA genes are commonly dose-sensitive and require fine control of levels through weak pull-down by miRNAs.This is consistent with miRNA-regulated genes being more likely to be involved in proteine protein interactions.Many NMD-regulated genes,by contrast,have properties consistent with them being rapid emergency response 'fire-fighter' genes.If true,the lack of annotation of NMD targets suggests that we poorly understand the emergencies plants face in the wild.Zhenguo Zhang Landian Hu Xiangyin Kong 2013Journal of Genetics and Genomics2013,40,10:0
20Determination of thorium in the hair and urine of workers and the public in a rare earth mining area显示文摘Objective:To assess the thorium exposure of the mine workers and the public to a typical rare earth mine and estimate the resultant committed effective dose to them.Methods:A total of 79 volunteers were selected in this survey,including 69 mine workers and 10 local residents living about 4 km away from the mine site.Urinary samples were collected from 79 volunteers,with 65 hair samples from 57 workers and 8 local residents.The thorium concentrations in urinary and hair samples were determined by using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.The committed effective doses were estimated based on the urinary samples collected and the parameters as recommended by ICRP Publication 137.Results:Thorium concentrations in the samples from the workers ranged from 19.0 to 2388.8 ng/g in hair with median of 149.8 ng/g,and in urine 18.3–906.1 ng/L with median of 59.6 ng/L,respectively.The median values of thorium concentrations were 11.8 ng/g in hair and 32.40 ng/L in urine for the public respectively.The thorium concentrations in urinary and hair samples of the workers were not only higher than those of the residents in the local area,but also than those of non-occupationally exposed populations as reported.The median values of committed effective dose were estimated to be 1.51 mSv for the workers and 781μSv for the local residents,respectively.Conclusions:The residents in the local area,and especially the workers,have been subject to long term thorium exposure.More attention should be paid to the radiological hazards of thorium to the workers and local residents.Yao Zhang Xianzhang Shao Xiangyin Kong Liangliang Yin Chengguo Wang Liang Lin Yanqin Ji 2022Radiation Medicine and Protection2022,3,2:0
