Thrusting of the North Lhasa Block in the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘A huge thrust system, the North Lhasa Thrust (NLT), was discovered in the northern Lhasa block of the Amdo-Bam Co profile. The NLT consists of the Dongqiao-Lunpola thrust (DLT), the west Namco thrust (WNT) and the south Damxung thrust (SDT) and ductile shear zones, ophiolite slices and folds extending in a WNW direction. Major thrust faults of the NLT seem to merge into a single deep-seated detachment of the upper-crust and totally displaced southward as far as 100-120 km. Chronological analyses with 39Ar-40Ar of plagioclase and hornblende, Rb-Sr isochron of minerals and fission-tracks of apatite from mylonite within the WNT yield ages of 174-173 Ma, 109 Ma and 44 Ma,showing 3 periods of thrusting in the north Lhasa block caused by subduction of the Tethys oceanic plate and the IndiaEurasia continental collision respectively. | WuZhenhan HuDaogong YePeisheng ZhaoXun LiuQisheng | 2004 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2004,78,1: | 16
Progress in the Study of Deep Profiles of Tibet and the Himalayas (INDEPTH)显示文摘This paper introduces 8 major discoveries and new understandings with regard to the deep structure and tectonics of the Himalayas and Tibetan Plateau obtained in Project INDEPTH, They are mainly as follows. (1) The upper crust, lower crust and mantle lithosphere beneath the blocks of the plateau form a 'sandwich' structure with a relatively rigid-brittle upper crust, a visco-plastic lower crust and a relatively rigid-ductile mantle lithosphere. This structure is completely different from that of monotonous, cold and more rigid oceanic plates. (2) In the process of north-directed collision-compression of the Indian subcontinent, the upper crust was attached to the foreland in the form of a gigantic foreland accretionary wedge. The interior of the accretionary wedge thickened in such tectonic manners as large-scale thrusting, backthrusting and folding, and magmatic masses and partially molten masses participated in the crustal thickening. Between the upper crust and lower crust lies a large detachment (e.g. the Main Himalayan Thrust in southern Tibet, 5-8 km thick) or a very thick shear-schistose zone (e.g. the Main Qiangtang Thrust-MQT in northern Tibet, up to 20 km thick), which causes the decoupling of the upper crust and lower crust and separation of tectonic activities. (3)During the collision-compression, the Indian mantle lithosphere was delaminated into two layers from where the crust thickened most rapidly (beneath the High Himalayas). The upper layer extends to 34.5°N and the lower layer to 33.5°.They have been underthrust to depths of 250-300 km into the asthenosphere. Meanwhile the Asian lithosphere (possibly the Qaidam terrane) has also been subducted southwards. Very thick mantle lithosphere does not exist beneath the plateau.(4) The oceanic lithosphere, in light of its lithology and dynamic behaviour, might be close to those of the continental lithosphere and its front might enter the asthenosphere before the continental lithosphere. (5) A 150-200 km deep lowvelocity body below 35°N and a wide low-velocity zone below the area between 33.5° and 35°N dip north at very steep angles. Volcanism took place frequently in northern Tibet and anisotropy variations are prominent at depths, which might indicate a zone of large-scale eastward transfer of deep-seated materials. | ZHAOWenjin ZHAOXun SHIDanian LIUKui JIANGWan WUZhenhan XIONGJiayu ZHENGYukun | 2004 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2004,78,4: | 10
The SOClO-economlc benefits of establishing National Geoparks in China显示文摘Since 2000, based on a wealth of geological heritage sites and experience with their conservation, China has formally approved the establishment of forty four National Geoparks, whose distribution and characteristics are dominated by structural setting and neotectonism. Conserving and developing the sites have brought about favorable social, economic and environmental benefits, and created a positive climate for their inclusion in the worm Geopark network under the patronage of UNESCO. | ZhaoXun ZhaoTing | 2003 | Episodes2003,26,4: | 4
Geoscientific Significance and Classification of National Geoparks of China显示文摘The conservation of geological remains in China, especially in renowned sites with historical or cultural significance, has long been paid attention to. As the urban residents become more interested in returning to and harmony with the nature, tourism related sciences and knowledge gets more attractive. Geosites and geoparks can definitely play an important role to lead this historic tendency. | ZHAOTing ZHAOXun | 2004 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2004,78,3: | 3
Revisiting an ancient inorganic aggregation-induced emission system:An enlightenment to clusteroluminescence显示文摘Organic and inorganic clusteroluminescence have attracted great attention while the underlying mechanisms is still not well understood. Here,we employed a series of ancient inorganic complexes platinocyanides with aggregation-induced emission property to elucidate the mechanism of clusteroluminescence including how does the chromophore form and how does the solid structures influence the luminescence behaviors. The results indicate that the isolated platinocyanide cannot work as a chromophore to emit visible light, while their clusterization at aggregate state can trigger the d-orbitals coupling of the platinum atoms to facilitate the electron exchange and delocalization to form a new chromophore to emit visible light.Furthermore, the counter ions and H2O ligands help to rigidify the three-dimensional network structure of the platinocyanides to suppress the excited state nonradiative decay, resulting in the high quantum yield of up to 96%.This work fundamentally helps understanding both the organic and inorganic clusteroluminescence phenomenon. | Zheng Zhao Zaiyu Wang Javad Tavakoli Guogang Shan Jianyu Zhang Chen Peng Yu Xiong Xuepeng Zhang Tsz Shing Cheung Youhong Tang Bolong Huang Zhaoxun Yu Jacky W.Y.Lam Ben Zhong Tang | 2021 | Aggregate2021,2,2: | 1

The Origination and Reality of Askin Tumor显示文摘Objective\ To study the origination and reality of Askin tumor. Methods\ Twenty two cases of these lesions have been studied by clinical pathologic observation, immunohistochemistry, electron microscopy, and cytogenics in this paper. Results\ The results revealed the positiveness of MIC2(CD99), NSE, Chromogranin A(CgA) by immunohistochemistry, neurosecretory granules by electron microscopy, and the specific genotypic translocation of t (11∶22) (q24∶q12) by cytogenetic analysis, which were identical to the malignant primitive neuroectodermal tumor (PNET). Conclusion\ We conclude that this lesion is actually the one member of the PNET/Ewing′s sarcoma family, except the special location. Differential diagnoses between this tumor and other small round cell sarcomas such as lymphoma, embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma, rhabdoid tumor, round cell liposarcoma and desmoplastic small round cell tumor were also discussed in this article. | Fan Qinhe(范钦和) Philip W Allen\+1\ Xu Tianrong(徐天蓉) Zhang Zhihong(张智弘)\ Zheng Zhaoxun(郑肇巽) Department of Pathology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, Nanjing 210029, P. | 11 | Influence of sedimentation and diagenesis on reservoir physical properties:a case study of the Funing Formation,Subei Basin, eastern China显示文摘The sandstone of the third member of the Funing Formation(E1f3)in the northern slope zone of the Gaoyou Sag has the typical characteristics of high porosity and ultralow permeability, which makes it difficult for oil to flow.In this study, the lithological characteristics, sedimentary facies, diagenetic characteristics, pore struc-ture,and seepage ability of this sandstone are characterized in detail.Correlation analysis is used to reveal the reason for the sandstone high porosity-low permeability phenom-enon in the study area. The results indicate that this phenomenon is controlled mainly by the following three factors:1)the sedimentary environment is the initial affecting factor, whereby the deposition of a large number of fine-grained materials reduces the primary pores of sandstone.2)The Funing Formation has undergone strong compaction and cementation, which have led to the removal of most of the primary pores and a reduction in size of the throat channels.3)Owing to fluid activity during the later stage of diagenesis, sandstone underwent intense dissolution and a large number of particles(feldspar and lithic debris)formed many dissolution pores(accounting for nearly 60%of the total pore space).Among these factors, dissolution has contributed the most to the development of high porosity-low permeability phenomenon. This is mainly attributed to the inhomogeneous dissolution process, whereby the degree of particle dissolution(e.g.feldspar)exceeds that of cementing minerals(clay and carbonate minerals). The secondary dissolution pores have increased the porosity of sandstone in the study area;however, the pore connectivity(permeability)has not been significantly improved, thus resulting in the special high porosity-low permeability characteristics of this sandstone. | Jinkai WANG Yuxiang FU Zhaoxun YAN Jialin FU Jun XEE Kaikai LI Yongfu ZHAO | 2021 | Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,4: | 0
