3High-speed femtosecond laser plasmonic lithography and reduction of graphene oxide for anisotropic photoresponse显示文摘Micro/nanoprocessing of graphene surfaces has attracted significant interest for both science and applications due to its effective modulation of material properties,which,however,is usually restricted by the disadvantages of the current fabrication methods.Here,by exploiting cylindrical focusing of a femtosecond laser on graphene oxide(GO)films,we successfully produce uniform subwavelength grating structures at high speed along with a simultaneous in situ photoreduction process.Strikingly,the well-defined structures feature orientations parallel to the laser polarization and significant robustness against distinct perturbations.The proposed model and simulations reveal that the structure formation is based on the transverse electric(TE)surface plasmons triggered by the gradient reduction of the GO film from its surface to the interior,which eventually results in interference intensity fringes and spatially periodic interactions.Further experiments prove that such a regular structured surface can cause enhanced optical absorption(>20%)and an anisotropic photoresponse(~0.46 ratio)for the reduced GO film.Our work not only provides new insights into understanding the laser-GO interaction but also lays a solid foundation for practical usage of femtosecond laser plasmonic lithography,with the prospect of expansion to other two-dimensional materials for novel device applications.Tingting Zou Bo Zhao Wei Xin Ye Wang Bin Wang Xin Zheng Hongbo Xie Zhiyu Zhang Jianjun Yang Chunlei Guo 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:17
4Research on single event transient pulse quenching effect in 90 nm CMOS technology显示文摘Since single event transient pulse quenching can reduce the SET(single event transient) pulsewidths effectively,the charge collected by passive device should be maximized in order to minimize the propagated SET.From the perspective of the layout and circuit design,the SET pulsewidths can be greatly inhibited by minimizing the layout spacing and signal propagation delay,which sheds new light on the radiation-hardened ICs(integrated circuits) design.Studies show that the SET pulsewidths of propagation are not in direct proportion to the LET(linear energy transfer) of incident particles,thus the defining of the LET threshold should be noted when SET/SEU(single event upset) occurs for the radiation-hardened design.The capability of anti-radiation meets the demand when LET is high but some soft errors may occur when LET is low.Therefore,radiation experiments should be focused on evaluating the LET that demonstrates the worst response to the circuit.QIN JunRui CHEN ShuMing LIU BiWei CHEN JianJun LIANG Bin LIU Zheng 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,11:14
5Quantitative prediction of mining subsidence and its impact on the environment显示文摘This study is focused on the prediction of mining subsidence and its impact on the environment in the Hongqi mining area. The study was carried out by means of a probability integral model based, in first instance based on field surveys and the analysis of data collected from this area. Isolines of mining subsidence were then drawn and the impact caused by mining subsidence on the environment was analyzed quantitatively by spatial analysis with Geographic Information System (GIS). The results indicate that the subsidence area of the first working-mine can be as large as 2.54 km 2 , the maximum subsidence is 3440 mm which will cause 1524 houses to be relocated. The entire subsidence area of the mine can reach 8.09 km 2 , with a maximum subsidence of 3590 mm. 7Characteristics of strike-slip inversion structures of the Karatau fault and their petroleum geological significances in the South Turgay Basin,Kazakhstan显示文摘The Karatau fault is one of the important strike-slip faults in central Asia,and the South Turgay Basin is located towards its northern end.Detailed seismic interpretation indicated that the strikeslip tectonism of the Karatau fault weakened gradually from west to east in the South Turgay Basin.Typical flower structures developed on the section,and strike-slip faults showed an echelon pattern on planar view.The Karatau strike-slip fault affected the South Turgay Basin in two periods:(1) The South Turgay strike-slip pull-apart rift basin formed as a result of regional extensive stress in the Early-Middle Jurassic,characterized by the juxtaposition of horsts and grabens.The formation of horsts provided favorable reservoir spaces for later hydrocarbon accumulation,and different filling stages of grabens controlled different reservoir-forming factors in grabens.(2) Two stages of tectonic inversion occurred in the Late Jurassic and Late Cretaceous and played a crucial role in the final shape of the structure in the South Turgay Basin.The oil and gas migrated to form reservoirs and mainly concentrated in the horsts,graben slopes and in both sides of the strike-slip fault zone.In the case of the degree of accumulation of petroleum,the factor explaining why horsts are better than grabens is the strike-slip pull-apart of the South Turgay Basin,and the structure inversion of the South Turgay Basin explains why the west graben is better than the east one.Overall,the Karatau strike-slip fault played a very important role in the formation of the South Turgay Basin and its hydrocarbon accumulations.Yin Wei Fan Zifei Zheng Junzhang Yin Jiquan Zhang Mingjun Sheng Xiaofeng Guo Jianjun Li Qiyan Lin yaping 2012Petroleum Science2012,9,4:11

9Reconstruction of nerve root sheaths for sacral extradural spinal meningeal cysts with spinal nerve root fibers显示文摘This study analyzed the clinical characteristics and outcomes of sacral extradural spinal meningeal cysts with spinal nerve root fibers treated by reconstruction of the nerve root sheaths.The relationships between the cysts and spinal nerve root fibers were examined microscopically,the cysts were partially excised,and the defects were oversewn to reconstruct the nerve root sheaths.The Improved Japanese Orthopedic Association(IJOA)scoring system was used to evaluate preoperative and postoperative neurological function.Thirty-eight patients were included in this study,with a mean age of 41.4±15.57 years.The mean IJOA score was 18.8±1.32 preoperatively and 19.6±0.65 postoperatively,which was a significant difference(t=–3.77,P=0.001).These results indicate a significant improvement in neurological function after surgery.The most significant improvement in neurological function was sensation(z=–2.86,P=0.004),followed by bowel/bladder function(z=–2.31,P=0.02).SUN JianJun WANG ZhenYu LI ZhenDong WU HaiBo YEN RuYu ZHENG Mei CHANG Qing LIU Isabelle Yisha 2013Science China(Life Sciences)2013,56,11:8
10Adsorption-energy-based activity descriptors for electrocatalysts in energy storage applications显示文摘Energy storage technologies, such as fuel cells, ammonia production and lithium–air batteries, are important strategies for addressing the global challenge of energy crisis and environmental pollution.Taking overpotential as a direct criterion, we illustrate in theory and experiment that the adsorption energies of charged species such as Li^++e^-and H^++e^-are a central parameter to describe catalytic activities related to electricity-in/electricity-out efficiencies. The essence of catalytic activity is revealed to relate with electronic coupling between catalysts and charged species. Based on adsorption energy, some activity descriptors such as d-band center, e_g-electron number and charge-transfer capacity are further defined by electronic properties of catalysts that directly affect interaction between catalysts and charged species. 11Bronchial artery embolization for hemoptysis:A systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Objective:To assess the safety and efficacy of bronchial artery embolization(BAE)for hemoptysis.Methods and materials:Databases with articles published in English,including Pubmed,Embase,Web of science and Chochrane library,were comprehensively searched to get accurate,up-to-date and sufficient literature about BAE for hemoptysis until March 2020.The technical success rates,immediate control rates,recurrence rates,mortality rates,and total complication rates(minor and major complication rates)extracted from the articles were pooled to estimate and assess the efficacy and safety of BAE using random-effect and fixed-effect models.Results:21 articles published between 2008 and 2019,which include a total of 2511 patients,were studied to evaluate the safety and efficacy of BAE.The technical success and immediate control rates are 99.9%(95%CI:99%-100%)and 99.5%(95%CI:97.8%-99.2%),respectively.This study showed hemoptysis recurrence in 23.7%(95%CI:18.5%-28.9%)with a mortality rate of 2%(95%CI:0-3%).Additionally,the assessment of complications revealed a total complication rate of 13.4%(95%CI:7.6-19.2%),in which 0.2%(95%CI:0.2-0.4%)were major complications and 10%(95%CI:4.7-9.6%)were minor complications.Conclusion:BAE is an effective,safe,and feasible procedure with a low complication rate for hemoptysis patients.However,recurrence of hemoptysis is still at high risk after BAE due to different underlying diseases.Zhiyuan Zheng Zhiquan Zhuang Minjie Yang Jianjun Luo Wen Zhang Zhiping Yan Xiaolin Wang 2021Journal of Interventional Medicine2021,4,4:7
12Niobium pentoxide:a promising surface-enhanced Raman scattering active semiconductor substrate显示文摘Surface-enhanced Raman scattering technique,as a powerful tool to identify the molecular species,has been severely restricted to the noble metals.The surface-enhanced Raman scattering substrates based on semiconductors would overcome the shortcomings of metal substrates and promote development of surface-enhanced Raman scattering technique in surface science,spectroscopy,and biomedicine studies.However,the detection sensitivity and enhancement effects of semiconductor substrates are suffering from their weak activities.In this work,a semiconductor based on Nb_(2)O_(5) is reported as a new candidate for highly sensitive surfaceenhanced Raman scattering detection of dye molecules.The largest enhancement factor value greater than 107 was observed with the laser excitation at 633 and 780 nm for methylene blue detection.As far as literature review shows,this is in the rank of the highest sensitivity among semiconductor materials;even comparable to the metal nanostructure substrates with“hot spots”.The impressive surface-enhanced Raman scattering activities can be attributed to the chemical enhancement dominated by the photoinduced charge transfer,as well as the electromagnetic enhancement,which have been supported by the density-functional-theory and finite element method calculation results.The chemisorption of dye on Nb_(2)O_(5) creates a new highest occupied molecular orbital and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital contributed by both fragments in the molecule-Nb_(2)O_(5) system,which makes the charge transfer more feasible with longer excitation wavelength.In addition,the electromagnetic enhancement mechanism also accounts for two orders of magnitude enhancement in the overall enhancement factor value.This work has revealed Nb_(2)O_(5) nanoparticles as a new semiconductor surface-enhanced Raman scattering substrate that is able to replace noble metals and shows great potentials applied in the fields of biology related.Yufeng Shan Zhihui Zheng Jianjun Liu Yong Yang Zhiyuan Li Zhengren Huang Dongliang Jiang 2017npj Computational Materials2017,,1:7
13Rarefaction and Temperature Gradient Effect on the Performance of the Knudsen Pump显示文摘The prediction of the multiscale flow in the Knudsen pump is important for understanding its pumping mechanism.However,there is little research on such interesting multiscale phenomenon in the Knudsen pumps.In this paper,a novel numerical analysis method combining the direct simulation Monte Carlo(DSMC) method with the smoothed particle hydrodynamics(SPH) method is presented for simulating the multiscale flow,which is often encountered in the application of the Knudsen pumps.Validity and accuracy of the new method are given by comparing its results with that of the previous research.Using the coupled multiscale approach,the rarefaction and the temperature drive are studied,which are two main factors on the performance of the Knudsen pumps.To investigate the effect of rarefaction on the performance of the Knudsen pump,various pump operation pressures are compared.The flow characteristics and pumping ability at different rarefaction are analyzed,and the phenomenon of the multiscale flow is also discussed.Several cases with different linear or nonlinear temperature gradients are set to investigate the effect of temperature gradient on the performance of the Knudsen pump.The flow characteristics of the Knudsen pump such as the velocity,pressure increase,and the mass flowrate are presented.A unique phenomenon,the reverse transpiration effect caused by the nonlinear temperature gradient is studied,and the reason of the significant pressure increase in the pump channel is also analyzed.Since the multiscale gas flow is widely encountered in the microflow systems,the above method and its results can also be greatly beneficial and provide significant insights for the design of the MEMS devices.YE Jianjun YANG Jian ZHENG Jinyang DING Xianting WONG Ieong LI Weizhong CHEN Cong 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,4:6
14Crystal structures and thermal decomposition kinetics of lanthanide complexes with 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoic acid and 1,10-phenanthroline显示文摘A series of lanthanide complexes with the 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoic acid(3,4,5-tmoba) and 1,10-phenanthroline(phen),[Ln(3,4,5-tmoba) 3 phen] 2(Ln = Pr(1),Nd(2) and Ho(3)),have been synthesized and characterized by a series of techniques including elemental analysis,IR spectra,X-ray crystallography and TG/DSC-FTIR technology.The three complexes have two kinds of coordination modes,in which the Pr 3+ and Nd 3+ cations are nine-coordinated and the Ho 3+ cation is eight-coordinated.The three-dimensional IR accumulation spectra of gaseous products for complexes 1-3 were analyzed and the gaseous products were identified by the typical IR spectra obtained from the 3D surface graphs.Meanwhile,we obtained the activation energy E of the first steps of complexes 1-3 by the integral isoconversional non-linear(NL-INT) method and discussed the non-isothermal kinetics of complexes 1-3 using the Malek method.Finally,SB(m,n) was defined as the kinetic method of the first-step thermal decomposition.The thermodynamic parameters △G≠,△H≠ and △S≠ of activation at the peak temperature were also calculated.TANG Kun ZHANG JianJun REN Ning ZHENG JunRu LIU JingYu WU KeZhong 2012Science China Chemistry2012,55,7:6
15Enabling Technologies in the Problem Solving Environment HEDP显示文摘Enabling technologies are those technologies preparing input data,analyzing output data and facilitating the whole processes for numerical simulations.This paper outlines current enabling technologies for large-scale multidisciplinary simulations used in the High End Digital Prototyping(HEDP)system,a problem solving environment equipped with capability of mesh generation and large-scale visualization.A problem solving environment is a computer system that provides all the computational facilities necessary to solve a target class of problems.Mesh generation continues to be the pacing technology for a practical numerical analysis,which is essential to yielding an accurate and efficient solution.Large-scale visualization maps the massive data to some kinds of scenes interactively,which can be realized through a tiled display wall system with distributed visualization capability.HEDP is designed for large-scale andmultidisciplinary simulations,and there are four categories of modules involved,namely pre-processing module,computing module,post-processing module,and platform control module.All these modules are coupled through a software bus,which makes the modules integrated seamlessly.Detailed design principles and applications of the HEDP environment are addressed in this paper.Lijun Xie Yao Zheng Jianjun Chen Jianfeng Zou 2008Communications in Computational Physics2008,4,10:6
16A Survey on the Moving Target Defense Strategies:An Architectural Perspective显示文摘As the complexity and the scale of networks continue to grow,the management of the network operations and security defense has become a challenging task for network administrators,and many network devices may not be updated timely,leaving the network vulnerable to potential attacks.Moreover,the static nature of our existing network infrastructure allows attackers to have enough time to study the static configurations of the network and to launch well-crafted attacks at their convenience while defenders have to work around the clock to defend the network.This asymmetry,in terms of time and money invested,has given attackers greater advantage than defenders and has made the security defense even more challenging.It calls for new and innovative ideas to fix the problem.Moving Target Defense (MTD)is one of the innovative ideas which implements diverse and dynamic configurations of network systems with the goal of puzzling the exact attack surfaces available to attackers.As a result,the system status with the MTD strategy is unpredictable to attackers,hard to exploit,and is more resilient to various forms of attacks.There are existing survey papers on various MTD techniques,but to the best of our knowledge,insufficient focus was given on the architectural perspective of MTD strategies or some new technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT).This paper presents a comprehensive survey on MTD and implementation strategies from the perspective of the architecture of the complete network system,covering the motivation for MTD,the explanation of main MTD concepts,ongoing research efforts of MTD and its implementation at each level of the network system,and the future research opportunities offered by new technologies such as Software-Defined Networking (SDN)and Internet of Things (IoT).Jianjun Zheng Akbar Siami Namin 2019Journal of Computer Science & Technology2019,34,1:6
17Fouling community characteristics in subtropical coastal waters of the southwestern East China Sea显示文摘A fouling study was conducted in coastal waters southwest of the East China Sea between December 2013 and November 2014. A total of 84 species of fouling organisms belonging to 69 genera, 49 families, and 10 phyla were recorded over the entire year. The community composition was dominated by coastal warm-water species belonging to typical subtropical inner bay communities. The prosperous stage of settlement lasted from April to September, and the adhesion strength of the fouling organisms was the highest in summer. Sessile suspension feeders constituted the main core of settlement for the fouling community. Amphibalanus reticulatus was the most dominant and representative species of fouling organism, and other dominant species included Caprella equilibra, Ectopleura crocea, Anthopleura nigrescens, Stylochus ijimai, Spirobranchus kraussii, Crassostrea angulata, Perna viridis, Jassa falcata, Stenothoe valida, Sphaerozius nitidus, and Biflustra grandicella. The individuals in the fouling community showed a mutual dependence or constraint relationship due to competition for settlement space and food, and they exhibited a particular spatiotemporal distribution in accordance with adaptation to environmental factors. Temperature was the most important environmental factor determining the geographic distribution of fouling organisms. The temperature characteristics of species essentially reflect the differences in the fouling community composition in various climate zones. The species number, settlement stage, and settlement rate of fouling organisms are closely related to water temperature. 18Intervention-point principle of meshless method显示文摘Meshless method is a type of promising numerical approach. But for the method, the convergence is still lack of common theoretical explanations, and the technique of numerical implementation also remains to be improved. It is worth noting that a kind of uniformly defined intervention point is used in many existing schemes. Therefore, the intervention-point principle is proposed. The viewpoint is likely to give a reasonable explanation for the inaccuracy and instability of the collocation method. Based on the principle, a design process for a new scheme was demonstrated. Some initial numerical tests were also offered. 20Flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte enabling sodium metal batteries with highly safe characteristic and superior cycling stability显示文摘Con ventio nal liquid electrolytes based sodium metal batteries suffer from severe safety hazards owing to electrolyte leakage,in flammability and dendritic sodium deposit!on.Herein,we report a flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte with poly(methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic an hydride)(P(MVE-alt-MA))as host,bacterial cellulose(BC)as reinforceme nt,and triethyl phosphate/vinyle ne carb on ate/sodium perchlorate(TEP/VC/NaClO4)as plasticizer for highly safe sodium metal batteries.The as-obtained quasi-solid polymer electrolyte exhibits superior flame retardancy(self-extinguish within 1 s),complete non-leakage property and wide electrochemical windows(4.4 V).More importantly,Na3V2(PO4)3/Na metal batteries using such polymer electrolyte delivers superior I on g-term cycli ng stability(84.4%capacity rete ntion after 1000 cycles)which is significantly better than that(only 2%after 240 cycles)of liquid electrolyte.In addition,this flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte provides favorable cycle performance(80.2%capacity retention after 70 cycles at 50°C and 84.8%capacity retention after 50 cycles at-10°C)for Na3V2(PO4)3/Na metal batteries.And this battery also displayed a normal charge/discharge property even at-15°C.These fascinating cycle properties are mainly ascribed to the effective pro怕ctive layers formed on Na3V2(PC>4)3 cathode and sodium metal ano de.More thorough in vestigati on elucidates that such flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte plays a multif unctional role in the adva need sodium metal batteries:(1)being in volved in the formatio n of a favorable cathode electrolyte in terface(CEI)to inhibit the dissolutio n of van adium and maintai n the structure integrity of the Na3V2(PO4)3;(2)participati ng in building a stable solid electrolyte in terface(SEI)to suppress the growth of Na dendrites;(3)integrating flame-retardanee into polymer sodium batteries to enhance flame-resistanee,eliminate electrolyte leakage,and thus improve safety of sodium batteries.Based on these results,we further assembled Na3V2(PO4)3/MoS2 pouch cell which can withsta nd harsh conditions(be nded or cut off a corn er),confirming the obtai ned polymer electrolyte with superior non-leakage property.In all,these outstanding characteristics would endow this flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte a very promising can didate for highly-safe sodium metal batteries.Jinfeng Yang Min Zhang Zheng Chen Xiaofan Du Suqi Huang Ben Tang Tiantian Dong Han Wu Zhe Yu Jianjun Zhang Guanglei Cui 2019Nano Research2019,12,9:4
