1MRI-derived radiomics models for diagnosis, aggressiveness, and prognosis evaluation in prostate cancer显示文摘Prostate cancer(PCa)is a pernicious tumor with high heterogeneity, which creates a conundrum for making a precise diagnosis and choosing an optimal treatment approach.Multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging(mp-MRI)with anatomical and functional sequences has evolved as a routine and significant paradigm for the detection and characterization of PCa.Moreover, using radiomics to extract quantitative data has emerged as a promising field due to the rapid growth of artificial intelligence(AI)and image data processing.Radiomics acquires novel imaging biomarkers by extracting imaging signatures and establishes models for precise evaluation.Radiomics models provide a reliable and noninvasive alternative to aid in precision medicine, demonstrating advantages over traditional models based on clinicopathological parameters. The purpose of this review is to provide an overview of related studies of radiomics in PCa,specifically around the development and validation of radiomics models using MRI-derived image features. The current landscape of the literature, focusing mainly on PCa detection, aggressiveness, and prognosis evaluation,is reviewed and summarized.Rather than studies that exclusively focus on image biomarker identification and method optimization, models with high potential for universal clinical implementation are identified.Furthermore,we delve deeper into the critical concerns that can be addressed by different models and the obstacles that may arise in a clinical scenario. This review will encourage researchers to design models based on actual clinical needs,as well as assist urologists in gaining a better understanding of the promising results yielded by radiomics.Xuehua ZHU Lizhi SHAO Zhenyu LIU Zenan LIU Jide HE Jiangang LIU Hao PING Jian LU 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2023,24,8:0
2Observation of Internal Tides in the Qiongzhou Strait by Coastal Acoustic Tomography显示文摘In this study, power spectral density and inverse analyses were performed to obtain the frequency characteristics and spatial distribution of temperature in the Qiongzhou Strait using reciprocal sound transmission data obtained in a coastal acoustic tomo-graphy experiment conducted in 2013.The results reveal three dominant types of internal tides(diurnal, semidiurnal, and terdiurnal).Spectral analysis of the range-average temperature deviation along the northern and southern transmission paths shows that along the northern path, the energy of the diurnal internal tides was significantly larger than that of the semidiurnal tides. The semidiurnal internal tides,in contrast, were more pronounced along the southern path.A terdiurnal spectrum with an energy level equivalent to that of the semidiurnal internal tide was discernable for both the northern and southern paths. These three types of internal tides can also be recognized in the time variation of the zonal-average temperature deviation. The diurnal internal tides were strengthened along the northern coast, implying their westward propagation and the existence of coastally trapped effects. The other two types of internal tides, which have smaller wavelengths than the diurnal internal tides, were less resolved over the entire tomographic domain due to the insufficient resolution of the inversion. The data quality was verified to be satisfactory by error estimation.CHEN Minmo ZHU Zenan ZHANG Chuanzheng ZHU Xiaohua LIU Zhaojun KANEKO Arata 2021Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,5:0
3Tailoring the in-plane and out-of-plane stiffness of soft fingers by endoskeleton topology optimization for stable grasping显示文摘The intrinsic compliance of soft materials endows soft robots with great advantages to achieve large deformation and adaptive interactions in grasping tasks. However, current soft grippers usually focus on the in-plane large deformation and load capacity but ignore the effect of out-of-plane external loads, which may lead to instability in practical scenarios. This problem calls for stiffness design along multiple directions to withstand not only in-plane interacting forces with objects, but also unexpected outof-plane loads. In this paper,we design a new type of soft finger by embedding an endoskeleton inside the widely-used PneuNets actuator, and the endoskeleton layout is optimized to achieve a remarkable bending deflection and limited lateral deflection under combined external in-plane and out-of-plane loads.Based on the multi-objective topology optimization approach, the key structural features of the optimized endoskeleton are extracted and parameterized. The multi-material soft fingers are fabricated by the silicone compound mold method.Static and dynamic experiment results validate that the soft gripper with endoskeleton embedded exhibits remarkably improved out-of-plane stiffness, without sacrificing the in-plane bending flexibility, and leads to more stable grasping.LI DeChen CHEN ShiTong SONG ZeNan LIANG JiaLong ZHU XiangYang CHEN FeiFei 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,11:0
