| 1 | The critical role of carbon in marrying silicon and graphite anodes for high-energy lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Increasing the energy density of conventional lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)is important for satisfying the demands of electric vehicles and advanced electronics.Silicon is considered as one of the most-promising anodes to replace the traditional graphite anode for the realization of high-energy LIBs due to its extremely high theoretical capacity,although its severe volume changes during lithiation/delithiation have led to a big challenge for practical application.In contrast,the co-utilization of Si and graphite has been well recognized as one of the preferred strategies for commercialization in the near future.In this review,we focus on different carbonaceous additives,such as carbon nanotubes,reduced graphene oxide,and pyrolyzed carbon derived from precursors such as pitch,sugars,heteroatom polymers,and so forth,which play an important role in constructing micrometersized hierarchical structures of silicon/graphite/carbon(Si/G/C)composites and tailoring the morphology and surface with good structural stability,good adhesion,high electrical conductivity,high tap density,and good interface chemistry to achieve high capacity and long cycling stability simultaneously.We first discuss the importance and challenge of the co-utilization of Si and graphite.Then,we carefully review and compare the improved effects of various types of carbonaceous materials and their associated structures on the electrochemical performance of Si/G/C composites.We also review the diverse synthesis techniques and treatment methods,which are also significant factors for optimizing Si/G/C composites.Finally,we provide a pertinent evaluation of these forms of carbon according to their suitability for commercialization.We also make far-ranging suggestions with regard to the selection of proper carbonaceous materials and the design of Si/G/C composites for further development. | Jingxing Wu Yinliang Cao Haimin Zhao Jianfeng Mao Zaiping Guo | 2019 | Carbon Energy2019,1,1: | 18 |

| 3 | Hydrothermal Synthesis of Molybdenum Disulfide for Lithium Ion Battery Applications显示文摘Molybdenum disulfide nanoflakes were synthesized by a simple hydrothermal process using sodium molybdate and thiourea as reactants at a relatively low temperature. X-ray diffraction(XRD) and transmission elec-tron microscopy(TEM) indicate that the samples have the structure of 2H-MoS2 and the morphology of nanoflakes with the average thickness around 5-10 nm. The results of electrochemical properties indicate that the morphology and size of MoS2 particles have effects on their capacity when they are used as the anode for lithium ion battery. The as-prepared MoS2 samples have high reversible discharge capacity up to 994.6 mA·h·g-1 for the MoS2-1 elec-trode and 930.1 mA·h·g-1 for the MoS2-2 electrode and show excellent cycling performances. | 7 | Application of time reversal mirror technique in microwave-induced thermo-acoustic tomography system显示文摘Microwave-induced thermo-acoustic tomography (MITAT) is a promising technique with great potential in biomedical imaging. It has both the high contrast of the microwave imaging and the high resolution of the ultrasound imaging. In this paper, the proportional relationship between the absorbed microwave energy distribution and the induced ultrasound source distribution is derived. Further, the time reversal mirror (TRM) technique based on the pseudo-spectral time domain (PSTD) method is applied to MITAT system. | 9 | Effects of Forest Roads on Habitat Pattern for Sables in Da Hinggan Mountains, Northeasten China显示文摘The anthropogenic managements of forest have created a network of roads resulting in the loss and alternation of habitat. To better understand road′s impact on animal habitats, we assessed the habitat pattern of sables(Martes zibellina), one of rodents within national first-class protected species, when roads are considered in Huzhong area in Da Hinggan Mountains, northeastern China. Employing published literatures about behavior ecology, aerial photographs and forest stand maps, we classified the study area into three habitat types including best-suitable, suitable and unsuitable habitats based on sable habitat requirements at the landscape scale including four variables derived from forest source map with attribute database. Results indicated the loss and significant fragmentation of best-suitable habitat and home range habitat when roads, especially 150 m avoidance distance of roads, were considered. The roads reduced and fragmented highly suitable habitats more significantly during earlier development period than the later development period. Additionally, the suitable area percentage increased with increasing distance to roads. This study helped to identify the suitable area for sables and location of sable population. | 10 | Fast and accurate analysis of electromagnetic scattering from targets situated in dielectric half space显示文摘Electromagnetic scattering from targets situated in half space is solved by applying fast inhomogeneous plane wave algorithm combined with a tabulation and interpolation method. The integral equation is set up based on derivation of dyadic Green's functions in this environment. The coupling is divided into nearby region and well-separated region by grouping. The Green's function can be divided into two parts: primary term and reflected term. In the well-separated region, the two terms are both expressed as Sommerfeld integral, which can be accelerated by deforming integral path and taking interpolation and extrapolation. For the nearby region, the direct Sommerfeld integral makes the filling of impedance matrix time-expensive. A tabulation and interpolation method is applied to speed up this process. This infinite integral is pre-computed in sampling region, and a two-dimensional table is then set up. The impedance elements can then be obtained by interpolation. The impedance boundary condition is used for scattering from the object coated by thin lossy material. Instead of volume integral equation, surface integral equation is applied in case of thin dielectric sheet through resistive sheet boundary condition. To realize the fast computation of scattering from composite homoge-neous dielectric and conductor, the surface integral equation based on equivalence principle is used. Compared with the traditional volume integral equation, the surface integral equation reduces greatly the number of unknowns. To compute conducting cavity with electrically large aperture, an electric field integral equation is applied. | 13 | Theoretical screening of the transition metal heteronuclear dimer anchored graphdiyne for electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction显示文摘Developing efficient electrocatalysts for nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)is crucial to replace the both energy-intensive and environment-malignant Haber-Bosch process.Here using density functional theory calculations,we systematically studied the potential of the heteronuclear 3 d transition metal dimers anchored graphdiyne monolayers(FeM@and NiM@GDY,M=Ti,V,Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,and Cu)as efficient NRR catalysts.Among all the studied double-atom catalysts(DACs),FeCo@and NiCo@GDY are the most promising with excellent NRR catalytic activity,high ability to suppress the competing hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),and good stability.For both FeCo@and NiCo@GDY,NRR prefers to the distal pathway with the calculated onset potentials of -0.44 and -0.36 V,respectively,which are comparable and even better than their homonuclear counterparts.Moreover,FeCo@and NiCo@GDY have higher ability to suppress HER than Fe_(2)@ and Co_(2)@GDY,which may result from the modulated d state electronic structure due to the synergy effect of the heteronuclear atoms in the DACs.Our work not only suggests that FeCo@and NiCo@GDY hold great promises as efficient,low-cost,and stable DACs for NRR,but also further provides a strategy,i.e.alloying the atomic metal catalysts,to improve the NRR catalytic activity and/or selectivity. | Dongwei Ma Zaiping Zeng Liangliang Liu Yu Jia | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3: | 3 |

| 15 | Development of microwave-induced thermo-acoustic tomography prototype system显示文摘Due to its advantages in both contrast and resolution compared with conventional microwave or ultrasound imaging system, microwave-induced thermo-acoustic tomography (MITAT) has received more and more concerns in biologic tissue image field. In this paper, an integrated prototype of MITAT system is presented. Using this system, some basic experiments for biologic tissue objects with high water-content imbedded in fatty material have been done. In the MITAT experiments, the signals generated by two porcine muscle tissue strips with millimeter order scale in cross-section were collected. Images with both good contrast and resolution were obtained. In order to demonstrate the advantages of MITAT, some ultrasonic experiments were studied using a commercial ultrasonic linear array system. | 16 | Morphology of the ascending aorta: a study on 114 Chinese patients显示文摘Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the morphological characteristics of ascending aortic dissection in detail. Materials and Methods: The ascending aorta was morphologically assessed in a consecutive series of patients between January 2009 and October 2014. A new assessment and evaluation method was used to describe 114 patients with ascending aortic dissection. Results: A large difference was found in the degree of curvature between the ascending aorta with and without dissection. The shape of the former was straighter and steeper(control group R, 47.46 ± 6.40 mm; experimental group R, 59.70 ± 10.27 mm, P < 0.001). In the case of aortic dissection involving the valves, the proximal edge of the first entry was obviously close to the aortic sinus. The orientation of the entries was mainly around the 10 o'clock and 1–2 o'clock positions, and most of their shapes were fusiform(111; 70.02%). The distance of the distal extending dissection was associated with cases involving the branch arteries(involving three branches 441.40 ± 101.13 mm vs 159.85 ± 131.86 mm in others, P < 0.001). | 18 | Efficient analysis of dielectric radomes using multilevel fast multipole algorithm with CRWG basis显示文摘A full-wave analysis of the electromagnetic problem of a three-dimensional (3-D) antenna radiating through a 3-D dielectric radome is preserued. The problem is formulated using the Poggio-Miller-Chang-Harrington-Wu(PMCHW) approach for homogeneous dielectric objects and the electric field integral equation for conducting objects. The integral equations are discretized by the method of moment (MoM), in which the conducting and dielectric surface/interfaces are represented by curvilinear triangular patches and the unknown equivalent electric and magnetic currents are expanded using curvilinear RWG basis functions. The resultant matrix equation is then solved by the multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) and fast far-field approximation (FAFFA) is used to further accelerate the computation. The radiation patterns of dipole arrays in the presence of radomes are presented. | 20 | Ultra-light and flexible pencil-trace anode for high performance potassium-ion and lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Engineering design of battery configurations and new battery system development are alternative approaches to achieve high performance batteries. A novel flexible and ultra-light graphite anode is fabricated by simple friction drawing on filter paper with a commercial 8 B pencil.Compared with the traditional anode using copper foil as current collector, this innovative current-collector-free design presents capacity improvement of over 200% by reducing the inert weight of the electrode. The as-prepared pencil-trace electrode exhibits excellent rate performance in potassium-ion batteries(KIBs), significantly better than in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs), with capacity retention of 66% for the KIB vs. 28% for the LIB from 0.1 to 0.5 A g^(-1).
