1Study on meso-mechanical behavior of sand based on its 2D geometrical model显示文摘A comprehensive study on the meso-mechanical behaviors of sand with its 2D geometrical models was presented in this study.Based on the 2D geometrical models,database of sand particles,quantitative analysis on the geometrical characteristics of the studied sand particles was performed.A new clump generation algorithm based on fewer multiple overlapping circles was provided to accurately model the shape of sand particles,and was used to build the discrete element method(DEM)numerical model of the sand sample for DEM biaxial tests.The macro-and meso-mechanical behaviors of the studied sand samples were systematically analyzed.Deformation was mainly localized in a X-shaped shear zone,in which the particles experienced large displacements and rotations.Development of stress-induced anisotropy in particle and void orientations,as well as the mesoscopic fabric,was significant during the shearing process.Continuous collapse,generation,reduction,and extension of force chains occurred during the shearing process,especially after the peak stress was reached.This led to the fluctuations in the evolution of deviatoric stress and volumetric strain at macroscale,as well as the fabric anisotropy at mesoscale.XU WenJie FENG ZeKang YANG Han LIU GuangYu 2020Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,5:4
2Embedding wasted hairs in Ti/PbO_(2) anode for efficient and sustainable electrochemical oxidation of organic wastewater显示文摘Despite of the hazardous risk of Pb^(2+) leakage, lead dioxide has been attributed as a quasi-ideal anode material with high oxygen evolution potential, excellent conductivity, good stability and low cost in electrochemical oxidation wastewater treatment technique. In this study, a novel Ti/PbO_(2) anode was fabricated by embedding raw materials that are readily and cheaply available, i.e., hairs. The structure-activity relationship of the new electrode was firstly revealed by material and electrochemical characterizations. Then different levels of pollutants (azo dye, phenol and maleic acid) were used to investigate the electrochemical oxidation performance of the new electrode. Finally, the accelerated electrode lifetime and Pb^(2+) leakage tests were carried out. Results showed that the embedded hairs changed the preferential crystallographic orientation of PbO_(2) and decreased the grain size. Hairs introduced additional roughness and active sites, and decreased the electrode impedance, especially under 5 mg/cm^(2) of embedding amount. The removal efficiencies of different target pollutants were enhanced more or less by embedding appropriate amount of hairs, depending on the current density, but loading excessive hairs had a negative effect. The accumulation of intermediate products during phenol degradation was also changed by the hairs. The new electrode could undergo ~550 h of harsh electrolysis. 3Effects of Two Signals on Flowering and FT Gene Expression in Off-season Longan显示文摘Objective This study aimed to investigate the effects of two signals,H2O2 and NO,on flowering and FT gene expression in off-season longan.Method Nine-year-old off-season longan‘Shixia'was used as the experimental material and sprayed with signal promoting agent and blocking agent to analyze the dynamic changes of flowering and FT gene expression level. Result The expression level of FT gene in off-season longan increased during the flowering process,and the expression level of FT gene in leaves reached the peak earlier than that in terminal buds. SNP and MV treatments improved FT gene expression in varying degrees. DMTU and L-NNA treatments effectively inhibited FT gene expression in terminal buds,but the inhibitory effects on FT gene expression in leaves were not significant at late stage of flower bud differentiation. 5Simultaneous determination of clopidogrel,2-oxo-clopidogrel,and the thiol metabolite of clopidogrel in human plasma by LC-MS/MS显示文摘Clopidogrel is a pro-drug which needs two-step metabolism to produce the active thiol metabolite.This study aimed to explore an efficient method to simultaneously determine the plasma clopidogrel,2-oxo-clopidogrel(2-Oxo-CLP),and the clopidogrel active metabolite(CAM).A high-throughput liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS)was therefore developed.The analytes were extracted from plasma by using methyl tert-butyl ether(MTBE).Chromatographic separation was performed on a C18 column under an isocratic elution,accompanied with acetonitrile and deionized water containing 0.1%formic acid.After optimizing the condition of LC-MS/MS,a stable linearity was observed in the standard curves over the concentration ranges of 0.05 to 50.0 ng/mL for clopidogrel,0.5 to 50.0 ng/mL for 2-Oxo-CLP,and 0.5 to 100 ng/mL for clopidogrel active metabolite derivative(CAMD).The retention time was 4.78 minutes,3.79 minutes,3.59 minutes,and 4.82 minutes for clopidogrel,2-Oxo-CLP,CAMD,and internal standard,respectively.Both the relative standard deviation and the relative error were within the requirement of operating criteria.No significant degradation of clopidogrel,2-Oxo-CLP,and CAMD occurred under different storage conditions.This method was successfully validated in 3 patients with coronary artery disease.The results showed that the current LC-MS/MS method was efficient for simultaneously detecting clopidogrel,2-Oxo-CLP,and CAM with fine linearity,accuracy,precision,and stability.Lei Xu Ran Li Juan Li Zhou Dong Jiaxin Zong Chuchu Tan Zekang Ye Lu Shi Xiaoxuan Gong Chunjian Li 2022The Journal of Biomedical Research2022,36,2:0
