1Precision orchard sprayer based on automatically infrared target detecting and electrostatic spraying techniques显示文摘There is an urgent need for new chemical application techniques and sprayers in Chinese orchard spraying.A new tractor-mounted automatic target detecting electrostatics,and air-assisted orchard sprayer was designed and developed to meet the demand of chemical pest control in orchards.This sprayer light weighted,highly efficient,reduces pesticide use and is friendly to the environment.The techniques of automatic target detecting,electrostatics,and air-assisted spraying were combined in this system.The electrostatically charged droplets are projected toward the target by the assistance of an air stream that increases the droplets penetration within canopy.Experimental results show that the new automatic target detecting orchard sprayer with an infrared sensor can save more than 50%to 75%of pesticides,improve the utilization rate(over 55%),control efficiency,and significantly reduce environmental pollution caused by the pesticide application.At the same time the key technological problems related to air-assisted low volume and electrostatic spraying were solved.He Xiongkui Zeng Aijun Liu Yajia Song Jianli 2011International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2011,4,1:17
2Design and experiment of variable rate orchard sprayer based on laser scanning sensor显示文摘During different growth periods,canopy size and density in orchards are variable,which need application conditions(flow rate and air flow)to be adjusted to match the canopy’s characteristics.In order to improve orchard sprayer’s automatic operating performance,an automatic variable-rate orchard sprayer(VARS)fixed with 40 electromagnetic valves and 8 brushless fans was developed based on the canopy’s spatial dimensions.Each solenoid valve and brushless motor can be individually adjusted in real-time through pulse width modulation(PWM)signals emitted by a control system to adjust each nozzle’s spout and fan rotation speed.A high-precision laser scanning sensor(light detecting and ranging,LIDAR)was adopted as the detector to measure the canopy volume using the variable rate algorithm principle.Field experiments were conducted in an apple orchard,and conventional air blast sprayer(CABS)and directed air-jet sprayer(DAJS)were tested as a comparison.Results showed that on average,46%less spraying solution was applied compared to conventional applications,while penetration rate was similar to DAJS.Normalized deposition in the canopy with variable application was higher than that of conventional applications,indicating that electronic sprayers are more efficient than conventional sprayers.It was also observed that VARS could significantly reduce off-target loss.The field experiment showed that the newly developed variable-rate sprayer can greatly reduce pesticide use and protect the environment for the orchard fruit production,and also provide a reference for design and performance optimization for plant protection machinery.Longlong Li Xiongkui He Jianli Song Yajia Liu Aijun Zeng Liu Yang Chaohui Liu Zhixiong Liu 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,1:8
3High efficiency all-dielectric pixelated metasurface for near-infrared full-Stokes polarization detection显示文摘Pixelated metasurfaces integrating both the functions of linear polarization and circular polarization filters on a single platform can achieve full-Stokes polarization detection.At present,the pixelated full-Stokes metasurfaces mainly face the following problems:low transmission,low circular dichroism(CD)of circular polarization filters,and high requirements in fabrication and integration.Herein,we propose high performance ultracompact all-dielectric pixelated full-Stokes metasurfaces in the near-infrared band based on silicon-on-insulator,which is compatible with the available semiconductor industry technologies.Circular polarization filters with high CD are achieved by using simple two-dimensional chiral structures,which can be easily integrated with the linear polarization filters on a single chip.In addition,the dielectric materials have higher transmission than metal materials with intrinsic absorption.We experimentally demonstrated the circular polarization filter with maximum CD up to 70%at a wavelength of 1.6μm and average transmission efficiency above 80%from 1.48μm to 1.6μm.Therefore,our design is highly desirable for many applications,such as target detection,clinical diagnosis,and polarimetric imaging and sensing.Chong Zhang Jingpei Hu Yangeng Dong Aijun Zeng Huijie Huang Chinhua Wang 2021Photonics Research2021,9,4:6
4Distributed modeling of direct solar radiation on rugged terrain of the Yellow River Basin显示文摘Dueto the influencesoflocaltopographicalfactorsand terrain inter-shielding,calculation of directsolar radiation (DSR) quantity of rugged terrain is very complex.Based on digitalelevation model (DEM ) data and meteorological observations,a distributed model for calculating DSR over rugged terrain is developed.This modelgives an all-sided consideration on factors influencing DSR. Using thedeveloped model,normalsofannualDSR quantity with aresolution of1 km × 1 km forthe Yellow River Basin was generated, with DEM data as the general characterization of terrain. 5Spray drift characteristics test of unmanned aerial vehicle spray unit under wind tunnel conditions显示文摘Since the 2010s,unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)sprayer was applied more and more widely for low-volume aerial pesticides spraying operations in China.However,droplets from the UAV sprayer have a higher drift risk due to more fine droplets sprayed and a higher flight height than ground sprayers.Study on UAV spray drift has been a new hot spot within the field of pesticide application technology.Most of previous studies used direct field methods for spray drift,but the meteorological conditions in field were unstable and uncontrollable,and drift research under an actual operation state in wind tunnel has not been reported.Therefore,25 treatments of wind tunnel measurements and droplets spectrum tests of 10 models of nozzles were conducted to explore the influence factor on spray drift characteristics of UAV chemicals application in this study.A spray unit with a rotor of UAV was innovatively installed in wind tunnel,and the airstream from the wind tunnel was regarded as the relative moving natural wind to simulate the flight status.The airborne and the sediment spray drift was measured to study the effects of the nozzle type and size(flat fan,hollow cone and air-inclusion nozzles),flight speed,adjuvant(DRS-60,Y-20079,MF and G-611)and meteorological parameters(20°C&40%,20°C&80%,30°C&40%and 30°C&60%).The drift potential(DP)and the drift potential reduction percentage(DPRP)in vertical and horizontal directions were obtained for each test.Both nozzle type and size had an impact on the spray drift potential obviously by affecting the droplet size and the ratio of fine droplets,and the regression linear models between DPRPV/DPRPH and DV50,V75 were established(R2=0.934/0.925).Flight speed also had a significant effect on the spray drift characteristics,and reducing the flight speed could increase the DP effectively.Adding spray adjuvants could affect the DP under experimental meteorological parameters,and the anti-drift performance ranked in the order of DRS-60>MF>Y-20079>G-611.Recommendations were proposed in order to reduce the spray drift for UAV sprayer’s operation.These findings can contribute to provide guidelines and technical support for the wind tunnel spray drift tests of UAV and the field operation regulation of unmanned aerial PPP application.Changling Wang Aijun Zeng Xiongkui He Jianli Song Andreas Herbst Wanlin Gao 2020International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,3:3

10Cidan Capsule in Combination with Adjuvant Transarterial Chemoembolization Reduces Recurrence Rate after Curative Resection of Hepatocellular Carcinoma:A Multicenter,Randomized Controlled Trial显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Cidan Capsule combined with adjuvant transarterial chemoembolization(TACE) in patients with a high risk of early recurrence after curative resection of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods:A multicenter,randomized controlled trial was conducted in patients with high-risk recurrence factors after curative resection of HCC from 9 medical centers between July 2014 and July 2018.Totally249 patients were randomly assigned to TACE with or without Cidan Capsule administration groups by stratified block in a 1:1 ratio.Postoperative adjuvant TACE was given 4-5 weeks after hepatic resection in both groups.Additionally,125 patients in the TACE plus Cidan group were administrated Cidan Capsule(0.27 g/capsule,5 capsules every time,4 times a day) for 6 months with a 24-month follow-up.Primary endpoints included diseasefree survival(DFS) and tumor recurrence rate(TRR).Secondary endpoint was overall survival(OS).Any drugrelated adverse events(AEs) were observed and recorded.Results:As the data cutoff on July 9th,2018,the median DFS was not reached in the TACE plus Cidan group and 234.0 days in the TACE group(hazard ratio,0.420,95%confidence interval,0.290-0.608;P<0.01).The 1-and 2-year TRR in the TACE plus Cidan and TACE groups were 31.5%,37.1%,and 60.8%,63.4%,respectively(P<0.01).Median OS was not reached in both groups.The1-and 2-year OS rates in TACE plus Cidan and TACE groups were 98.4%,98.4%,and 89.5%,87.9%,respectively(P<0.05).The most common grade 3-4 AEs included fatigue,abdominal pain,lumbar pain,and nausea.One serious AE was reported in 1 patient in the TACE plus Cidan group,the death was due to retroperitoneal mass hemorrhage and hemorrhagic shock,and was not related to study drug.Conclusions:Cidan Capsule in combination with TACE can reduce the incidence of early recurrence in HCC patients at high-risk of recurrence after radical hepatectomy and may be an appropriate option in postoperative anti-recurrence treatment.(Registration No.NCT02253511)ZHENG Dong-hai YANG Jia-mei WU Jian-xiong CHENG Shu-qun ZHANG Shao-geng WU Dong LI Aijun FU Xiao-hui LI Xun QI Fu-chen DUAN Wei-hong CHEN Jun-hui YANG Zhi-ying LIANG Lu ZENG Jin-xiong ZHENG Wei-da WU Meng-chao 2023Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2023,29,1:0
11Design of imaging system for CSNS near-target beam diagnostics显示文摘Introduction China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)is an accelerator-based pulsed neutron source which produces neutron with spallation reaction induced by proton bombarding tungsten target.With increasing beam powers and influences on target,near-target monitoring becomes extreme necessary.In this situation,an optical imaging system for proton beam diagnostics and monitoring near the target is being developed at CSNS,which can provide real-time images of the beam on target and beam distribution information.Target imaging system design and development In the design of CSNS target imaging system,coating of Cr^(3+):Al_(2)O_(3) is used to convert particle radiation into emission light.According to the geometry limits of CSNS target station,a special optical system was designed and fabricated to collect the emission light.When the proton beams strike on the target,the coating on the target will be excited,emitting luminescence at the same time.The mirrors and lenses of the optical system image the distribution of emission light into a radiation-hard imaging fiber,which transmits the images to the GigE camera located at low-dose area outside of the target station.Software was written on the LabView platform to control the camera and analyze the images on line.Mock-up of the imaging system was manufactured to test and evaluate the performances of the system.Some important characteristics of the system were obtained and studied.Conclusion Tests on the mock-up of the system present reliably expectation for beam diagnostics.The imaging system has been installed at CSNS recently.More work will be continued to improve the properties of the system.Zhirong Zeng Shanhua Zhang Weilin Cheng Quanzhi Yu Shaohong Wei Bin Zhou Donghui Zhu Quan Ji Aijun Zeng Tianjiao Liang Yuanbo Chen 2018Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2018,2,2:0
12The complete and fully-phased diploid genome of a male Han Chinese显示文摘Since the release of the complete human genome,the priority of human genomic study has now been shifting towards closing gaps in ethnic diversity.Here,we present a fully phased and well-annotated diploid human genome from a Han Chinese male individual(CN1),in which the assemblies of both haploids achieve the telomere-to-telomere(T2T)level.Comparison of this diploid genome with the CHM13 haploid T2T genome revealed significant variations in the centromere.Outside the centromere,we discovered 11,413 structural variations,including numerous novel ones.We also detected thousands of CN1 alleles that have accumulated high substitution rates and a few that have been under positive selection in the East Asian population.Further,we found that CN1 outperforms CHM13 as a reference genome in mapping and variant calling for the East Asian population owing to the distinct structural variants of the two references.Comparison of SNP calling for a large cohort of 8869 Chinese genomes using CN1 and CHM13 as reference respectively showed that the reference bias profoundly impacts rare SNP calling,with nearly 2 million rare SNPs miss-called with different reference genomes.Finally,applying the CN1 as a reference,we discovered 5.80 Mb and 4.21 Mb putative introgression sequences from Neanderthal and Denisovan,respectively,including many East Asian specific ones undetected using CHM13 as the reference.Our analyses reveal the advances of using CN1 as a reference for population genomic studies and paleo-genomic studies.This complete genome will serve as an alternative reference for future genomic studies on the East Asian population.Chentao Yang Yang Zhou Yanni Song Dongya Wu Yan Zeng Lei Nie Panhong Liu Shilong Zhang Guangji Chen Jinjin Xu Hongling Zhou Long Zhou Xiaobo Qian Chenlu Liu Shangjin Tan Chengran Zhou Wei Dai Mengyang Xu Yanwei Qi Xiaobo Wang Lidong Guo Guangyi Fan Aijun Wang Yuan Deng Yong Zhang Jiazheng Jin Yunqiu He Chunxue Guo Guoji Guo Qing Zhou Xun Xu Huanming Yang Jian Wang Shuhua Xu Yafei Mao Xin Jin Jue Ruan Guojie Zhang 2023Cell Research2023,33,10:0
