| 1 | Has“Grain for Green”threaten food security on the Loess Plateau of China?显示文摘There is debating over the question of whether the large-scale‘Grain for Green’program on the Loess Plateau of China threatens regional food security.Self-sufficiency index and cropland pressure index were used to assess food security on the Loess Plateau after the implementation of revegetation program.The results showed that the‘Grain for Green’program initially had a considerable impact on regional food security,where grain yield fell from 1999 to 2001,resulting in a lower grain self-sufficiency and increased farmland stress.Subsequently,grain yield in this region increased due to the elevated agricultural material input and increased construction of terraces and check dams.The grain self-sufficiency index would have increased to 96.55%if there were improvements to the agricultural conditions,such as fertilization and irrigation,which would have resulted in an increase in the crop yield per unit of 20%.However,the grain self-sufficiency increased to 105.25%via the construction of terraces and check dams.Thus,the government should further expand the‘Grain for Green’program in coordination with improvements to the agricultural production conditions and the construction of terraces and check dams on the Loess Plateau. | Peng Shi Zhaohong Feng Haidong Gao Peng Li Xiaoming Zhang Tiantian Zhu Zhanbin Li Guoce Xu Zongping Ren Lie Xiao | 2020 | Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2020,6,1: | 1 |
| 2 | Poly(thioether)-b-polysiloxane-b-poly(thioether)triblock copolymer towards homogeneous dielectric elastomer with high dielectric performance显示文摘Dielectric elastomers(DEs)have drawn much attention owing to their application prospects in artificial muscles and soft robotics,it is still a big challenge to prepare DEs with high electromechanical performances.This work reports a highly stretchable poly(thioether)-b-polysiloxane-b-poly(thioether)triblock copolymer based homogenous DEs with high electromechanical properties.The triblock copolymer(PSiPGE)was synthesized through the ring-opening polymerization(ROP)of phenyl glycidyl ether(PGE)and carbonyl sulfide(COS)catalyzed by silicon alkoxides.The dipoles(benzene rings)on the side groups of PSiPGE improved the dipole polarizations and the phase separation structure of this triblock copolymer enhanced the interfacial polarizations between poly(thioether)and polysiloxane,and thus improving the dielectric constant(ε',up to 5.8).In addition,the PSiPGE exhibited low elastic modulus(Y,0.04 MPa),and thus possessed high electromechanical sensitivity(β,~145 MPa^(-1)) which is much higher than that of most homogenous DEs.This work provides a new strategy to construct homogenous DEs with excellent electromechanical performances,leading to a greater application aspect in the actuated devices. | Zhanbin Feng Jiafang Guo Suting Liu Guofei Feng Xing-Hong Zhang | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8: | 0 |
| 3 | Establishment of a sediment transport capacity equation on loessal slope via experimental investigation显示文摘Areliable sediment transport capacity function provides response against challenges of soil erosion prediction on the Loess Plateau of China.The popular sediment transport capacity functions are questionable on loess slopes because the experimental conditions from which they were derived,like bed materials,gentle slopes,and surface roughness,are different from soil erosion processes on the loess slopes.Due to the foregoing uncertainty,a suitable sediment transport capacity function was developed based on a flume experiment investigation.The erodible bed experiment was implemented for five unit width discharges(1.3×10^(-4)-3.3×10^(-4)m^(2)/s)and ten slopes(5.2%-57.7%).The selected sediment transport capacity equations were tested in an applicability evaluation.The results of this evaluation found that the Govers(1990)function had the best performance(P.O._(0.5-2.0)=76%,R^(2)=0.93,RMSE=0.03 kg/(m·s)),followed by the Yalin(1963)function(P.O._(0.5-2.0)=80%,R^(2)=0.81,RMSE=0.05 kg/(m·s)),and finally by the Low(1989)function(P.O._(0.5-2.0)=72%,R^(2)=0.79,RMSE=0.04 kg/(m·s)),where P.O._(0.5-2.0)is the percentage of estimated values with logarithmic discrepancies with the measured value between 0.5 and 2.0;R2is the coefficient of determination and RMSE is the roof mean squares error.The cohesive sediment incipient motion velocity is introduced into the Govers(1990)function,and the sediment particle parameter is determined from measured experimental data.The developed sediment transport capacity equation has good performance with predicted values corresponding to measured values(P.O._(0.5-2.0)=98%,R^(2)=0.98,RMSE=0.006 kg/(m·s)).The research results provide an improved sediment transport capacity function on the basis of experiments for steep loessal slopes. | Tian Wang Jingsi Li Jingming Hou Peng Li Shengdong Cheng Feng Wang Wen Wang Zhanbin Li Reinhard Hinkelmann | 2023 | International Journal of Sediment Research2023,38,2: | 0 |
| 4 | Effect of Candesartan Combined with Rosuvastatin on Myocardial Fibrosis in Rats with Alcoholic Cardiomyopathy by Mediating LOX-1 Expression显示文摘Objective:To analyze the effect of candesartan and rosuvastatin on myocardial fibrosis in rats with alcoholic cardiomyopathy by mediating the expression of lectin-like oxidized low-density lipoprotein receptor-1(LOX-1).Methods:The rats were selected as experimental samples,and these rats were randomly divided into observation group and alcohol feeding group(abbreviated as'alcohol group')and desartan combined with rosuvastatin intervention+alcoholic cardiomyopathy group(Referred to as the'intervention group'),the observation group is fed normally,the alcohol group is fed with alcohol,and the intervention group uses two drugs on the basis of the alcohol group to intervene.After 16 weeks of the three groups of experiments,analyze the results of the three groups of experiments.Myocardial structure,myocardial fibrosis and myocardial function.Results:After 16 weeks,the left ventricular short axis shortening rate(FS)and left ventricular ejection fraction in the alcohol group were lower than those in the observation group,while the collagen volume fraction(CVF)and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDd)were higher than those in the observation group,The expression of LOX-1 in the intervention group was lower than that in the alcohol group,and the degree of fibrosis was reduced.The expression of LOX-1 in the alcohol group was higher than that in the observation group,and the degree of fiber increased.At the same time,the expression of TN-X and smad-3 protein in the alcohol group(86%±7%,83%±9%)were higher than those in the observation group(32%±10%,30%±7%),while the expression of smad-7 protein(36%±8%)was lower than that in the observation group(78%±9%),P<0.05 among the three groups of experiments,and there is statistical significance among the groups.Conclusion:Candesartan combined with Rosuvastatin can reduce myocardial fibrosis in rats with alcoholic cardiomyopathy by mediating the expression of LOX-1. | Zhanbin Feng Yifan Zhang Xiaoyan Lv Xin Wang Bo Yuan | 2021 | Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2021,5,2: | 0 |
| 5 | Transport mechanism of eroded sediment particles under freeze-thaw and runoff conditions显示文摘Hydraulic erosion associated with seasonal freeze-thaw cycles is one of the most predominant factors,which drives soil stripping and transportation.In this study,indoor simulated meltwater erosion experiments were used to investigate the sorting characteristics and transport mechanism of sediment particles under different freeze-thaw conditions(unfrozen,shallow-thawed,and frozen slopes)and runoff rates(1,2,and 4 L/min).Results showed that the order of sediment particle contents was silt>sand>clay during erosion process on unfrozen,shallow-thawed,and frozen slopes.Compared with original soils,clay and silt were lost,and sand was deposited.On unfrozen and shallow-thawed slopes,the change of runoff rate had a significant impact on the enrichment of clay,silt,and sand particles.In this study,the sediment particles transported in the form of suspension/saltation were 83.58%–86.54%on unfrozen slopes,69.24%–84.89%on shallow-thawed slopes,and 83.75%–87.44%on frozen slopes.Moreover,sediment particles smaller than 0.027 mm were preferentially transported.On shallow-thawed slope,relative contribution percentage of suspension/saltation sediment particles gradually increased with the increase in runoff rate,and an opposite trend occurred on unfrozen and frozen slopes.At the same runoff rate,freeze-thaw process had a significant impact on the relative contribution percentage of sediment particle transport via suspension/saltation and rolling during erosion process.The research results provide an improved transport mechanism under freeze-thaw condition for steep loessal slopes. | WANG Tian LI Peng HOU Jingming TONG Yu LI Jing WANG Feng LI Zhanbin | 2022 | Journal of Arid Land2022,14,5: | 0 |
| 6 | Adsorption mechanism of Cd(Ⅱ)by calcium‑modifed lignite‑derived humin in aqueous solutions显示文摘Lignite-derived humin(CHM)was extracted from raw coal in Heihe City,China,producing calcium-modifed lignite-derived humin(Ca-CHM)by Ca(OH)_(2).The physical and chemical performances of CHM and Ca-CHM were analyzed with SEM,^(13)C spectra and XPS techniques.The results show that Ca-CHM exhibited weaker aliphatic,more aromatic polar compared with CHM,which improves the adsorption capacity for Cd(Ⅱ).XPS analysis indicates that Ca(Ⅱ)has been loaded onto Ca-CHM successfully after modifcation.This batch adsorption experiments report the adsorption performance of CHM and Ca-CHM for Cd(Ⅱ).The adsorption process of CHM and Ca-CHM for Cd(Ⅱ)conform to pseudo-second-order model,which is chemical adsorption,and the adsorption data presented good fts to the Langmuir model.The maximum adsorption amount(Q_(m))of Cd(Ⅱ)onto CHM and Ca-CHM by the Langmuir model is 15.29 mg/g and 41.84 mg/g,respectively.Based on the results of SEM,^(13)C spectra,and XPS analysis,we concluded that the main adsorption mechanism of Ca-CHM on Cd(Ⅱ)was ion exchange of Cd(Ⅱ)for Ca(Ⅱ),static-adsorbed and surface complexation.Therefore,Ca(Ⅱ)can be loaded on the surface of Ca-CHM by chemical modifcation,improving the adsorption capacity of materials in aqueous solutions. | Ping Wang Zhanbin Huang Zhanyong Fu Peng Zhao Zeshen Feng Yao Wang Fangze Li | 2022 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2022,9,3: | 0 |
