Integration of SAR Polarimetric Features and Multi-spectral Data for Object-Based Land Cover Classification显示文摘An object-based approach is proposed for land cover classification using optimal polarimetric parameters. The ability to identify targets is effectively enhanced by the integration of SAR and optical images. The innovation of the presented method can be summarized in the following two main points:①estimating polarimetric parameters(H-A-Alpha decomposition)through the optical image as a driver;②a multi-resolution segmentation based on the optical image only is deployed to refine classification results. The proposed method is verified by using Sentinel-1/2 datasets over the Bakersfield area,California. The results are compared against those from pixel-based SVM classification using the ground truth from the National Land Cover Database(NLCD).A detailed accuracy assessment complied with seven classes shows that the proposed method outperforms the conventional approach by around 10%,with an overall accuracy of 92.6%over regions with rich texture. | Yi ZHAO Mi JIANG Zhangfeng MA | 2019 | Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2019,2,4: | 7
Complete three-dimensional coseismic displacements due to the 2021 Maduo earthquake in Qinghai Province,China from Sentinel-1 and ALOS-2 SAR images显示文摘On 22 nd May 2021(local time),an earthquake of M_(s)7.4 struck Maduo county in Qinghai Province,China. This was the largest earthquake in China since the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake. In this study,ascending/descending Sentinel-1 and advanced land observation satellite-2(ALOS-2)synthetic aperture radar(SAR)images were used to derive the three-dimensional(3-D)coseismic displacements of this earthquake. We used the differential interferometric SAR(In SAR,DIn SAR),pixel offset-tracking(POT),multiple aperture In SAR(MAI),and burst overlap interferometry(BOI)methods to derive the displacement observations along the line-of-sight(LOS)and azimuth directions. To accurately mitigate the effect of ionospheric delay on the ALOS-2 DIn SAR observations,a polynomial fitting method was proposed to optimize range-spectrum-split-derived ionospheric phases. In addition, the 3-D displacement field was obtained by a strain model and variance component estimation(SM-VCE)method based on the high-quality SAR displacement observations. Results indicated that a left-lateral fault slip with the largest horizontal displacement of up to 2.4 m dominated this earthquake, and the small-magnitude vertical displacement with an alternating uplift/subsidence pattern along the fault trace was more concentrated in the near-fault regions.Comparison with the global navigation satellite system data indicated that the SM-VCE method can significantly improve the accuracy of the displacements compared to the classical weighted least squares method, and the incorporation of the BOI displacements can substantially benefit the accuracy of north-south displacement. In addition to the displacements, three coseismic strain invariants calculated based on the strain model parameters were also investigated. It was found that the eastern and western parts of the faults suffered more significant strains compared with the epicenter region. | Jihong LIU Jun HU Zhiwei LI Zhangfeng MA Lixin WU Weiping JIANG Guangcai FENG Jianjun ZHU | 2022 | Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,4: | 6
Multi-Scenario Millimeter Wave Wireless Channel Measurements and Sparsity Analysis显示文摘Wireless channel characteristics have significant impacts on channel modeling, estimation, and communication performance. While the channel sparsity is an important characteristic of wireless channels.Utilizing the sparse nature of wireless channels can reduce the complexity of channel modeling and estimation, and improve system design and performance analysis.Compared with the traditional sub6 GHz channel, millimeter wave(mmWave)channel has been considered to be more sparse in existing researches. However, most research only assume that the mmWave channel is sparse, without providing quantitative analysis and evaluation. Therefore, this paper evaluates the sparsity of mmWave channels based on mmWave channel measurements.A vector network analyzer(VNA)-based mmWave channel sounder is developed to measure the channel at 28 GHz,and multi-scenario channel measurements are conducted. The Gini index,Ricianfactor and rootmean-square(RMS)delay spread are used to measure channel sparsity. Then, the key factors affecting mmWave channel sparsity are explored. It is found that antenna steering direction and scattering environment will affect the sparsity of mmWave channel. In addition, the impact of channel sparsity on channel eigenvalue and capacity is evaluated and analyzed. | Hang Mi Bo Ai Ruisi He Xin Zhou Zhangfeng Ma Mi Yang Zhangdui Zhong Ning Wang | 2022 | China Communications2022,19,11: | 2
Contact optimisation strategy for wafer-scale field-effect transistors based on two-dimensional semiconductors显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)semiconductors can be utilized to continually miniaturize nanoscale electronic de-vices.However,achieving a practical solution for satisfying electrical contact with 2D semiconductors remains challenging. In this study,we developed a novel contact structure with transferred multilayer(t-ML)MoS 2 by integrating both edge and top contact. After in-situ plasma treatment for the edge of the MoS 2 channel and successive metal deposition,we achieved 16 times lower contact resistivity(22.8 kΩμm)than that of the top contacted devices. The thickness-dependent electrical measurement indicates that edge contact is highly effective with thick MoS 2 due to the alleviated current-crowding effect re-sulting from the small contact area. The temperature-dependent transport measurement further confirms the effective minimization of the influence from the Schottky barrier and tunnelling barrier. Finally, the simplified resistor network model and energy-band diagram were proposed to understand the carrier transport mechanism. Our work provides a practical strategy for achieving excellent electrical contact between bulk metals and 2D semiconductors, paving the way for future large-scale 2D electronic devices. | Ling Tong Xiaojiao Guo Zhangfeng Shen Lihui Zhou Jingyi Ma Xinyu Chen Honglei Chen Yin Xia Chuming Sheng Saifei Gou Die Wang Xinyu Wang Xiangqi Dong Yuxuan Zhu Xinzhi Zhang David Wei Zhang Sheng Dai Xi Li Peng Zhou Yangang Wang Wenzhong Bao | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,2: | 0
Radio Communication Scenarios in 5G-Railways显示文摘With the rapid development of railways, especially high-speed railways, there is an increasingly urgent demand for new wireless communication system for railways.Taking the mature 5G technology as an opportunity,5G-railways(5G-R)have been widely regarded as a solution to meet the diversified demands of railway wireless communications. For the design, deployment and improvement of 5GR networks, radio communication scenario classification plays an important role, affecting channel modeling and system performance evaluation. In this paper,a standardized radio communication scenario classification, including 18 scenarios,is proposed for 5GR.This paper analyzes the differences of 5G-R scenarios compared with the traditional cellular networks and GSM-railways,according to 5G-R requirements and the unique physical environment and propagation characteristics. The proposed standardized scenario classification helps deepen the research of 5G-R and promote the development and application of the existing advanced technologies in railways. | Ruisi He Bo Ai Zhangdui Zhong Mi Yang Chen Huang Ruifeng Chen Jianwen Ding Hang Mi Zhangfeng Ma Guiqi Sun Changzhu Liu | 2023 | China Communications2023,20,9: | 0
