1Phase demodulation method based on a dual-identical-chirped-pulse and weak fiber Bragg gratings for quasi-distributed acoustic sensing显示文摘A phase demodulation method for quasi-distributed acoustic sensing(DAS)systems based on a dual-identicalchirped-pulse and weak fiber Bragg gratings(WFBGs)is proposed.Compared to the use of Rayleigh backscattering light in optical fibers,the implementation of WFBGs can contribute to obtaining an optical signal with a higher signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).The dual-identical-chirped-pulse is generated by a time-delay fiber,and the sinusoidal carrier is generated by the interference between the two chirped pulses reflected by adjacent WFBGs.The phase of the sinusoidal carrier represents the dynamic strain change posed on the sensing fiber.Discrete Fourier transform is used to directly retrieve the phase information.The performance of the phase demodulation from interference signals under different sinusoidal carrier frequencies and SNRs is numerically investigated.The piezoelectric transducer is employed to emulate the sound in the experiment to verify the effectiveness of our method.It is shown that the dynamic strain can be well reconstructed at the end of a 101.64 km fiber when the signal SNR is down to 3.234 d B.Our proposed method enables the application of the long-distance sensing in quasi-DAS systems.Guanhua Liang Junfeng Jiang Kun Liu Shuang Wang Tianhua Xu Wenjie Chen Zhe Ma Zhenyang Ding Xuezhi Zhang Yongning Zhang Tiegen Liu 2020Photonics Research2020,8,7:6

3Identification of Animal Rabies in Inner Mongolia and Analysis of the Etiologic Characteristics显示文摘Objective To perform pathological observation and etiological identification of specimens collected from dairy cows,beef cattle and dogs which were suspected of rabies in Inner Mongolia in 2011,and analyze their etiological characteristics. Methods Pathological observation was conducted on the brain specimens of three infected animals with Hematoxylin-Eosin staining,followed by confirmation using immunofluorescence and nested RT-PCR methods. Finally,phylogenetic analysis was conducted using the virus N gene sequence amplified from three specimens. Results Eosinophilic and cytoplasmic inclusion bodies were seen in neuronal cells of the CNS; and rabies non-characteristic histopathological changes were also detected in the CNS. The three brain specimens were detected positive. N gene nucleotide sequence of these three isolates showed distinct sequence identity,therefore they fell into different groups in the phylogenetic analysis. N gene in the cow and dog had higher homology with that in Hebei isolate,but that in the beef cattle had higher homology with that in Mongolian lupine isolate and Russian red fox isolate. 6Two-dimensional distributed strain sensing with an Archimedean spiral arrangement in optical frequency domain reflectometry显示文摘We demonstrate a distributed two-dimensional(2D)strain-sensing system in optical frequency domain reflectometry(OFDR)with an Archimedean spiral arrangement of the sensing fiber.The Archimedean spiral describes a simple relationship between the radial radius and polar angle,such that each circle(the polar angle from0 to 2π)can sense the 2D strain in all directions.The strain between two adjacent circles can also be easily obtained because an Archimedean spiral facilitates sensing of every angle covering the full 2D range.Based on the mathematical relation of Archimedean spirals,we deduce the relationship between the one-dimensional position of the sensing fiber and 2D distribution in polar coordinates.The results of the experiment show that an Archimedean spiral arrangement system can achieve 2D strain sensing with different strain load angles.Yamei Guo Zhenyang Ding Kun Liu Junfeng Jiang Chenhuan Wang Tiegen Liu 2018Nanotechnology and Precision Engineering2018,1,3:1
7Reaching consensus for membership dynamic in secret sharing and its application to cross-chain显示文摘The communication efficiency optimization,censorship resilience,and generation of shared randomness are inseparable from the threshold cryptography in the existing Byzantine Fault Tolerant(BFT)consensus.The membership in consensus in a blockchain scenario supports dynamic changes,which effectively prevents the corruption of consensus participants.Especially in cross-chain protocols,the dynamic access to different blockchains will inevitably bring about the demand for member dynamic.Most existing threshold cryptography schemes rely on redefined key shares,leading to a static set of secret sharing participants.In this paper,we propose a general approach to coupling blockchain consensus and dynamic secret sharing.The committee performs consensus confirmation of both dynamic secret sharing and transaction proposals.Our scheme facilitates threshold cryptography membership dynamic,thus underlying support for membership dynamic of threshold cryptographybased BFT consensus schemes.We instantiate a dynamic HotStuff consensus to demonstrate the effectiveness of the scheme.After the correctness and security proof,our scheme achieves the secrecy and integrity of the threshold key shares while ensuring consensus liveness and safety.Experimental results prove that our scheme obtains dynamic membership with negligible overhead.Yan Zhu Bingyu Li Zhenyang Ding Yang Yang Qianhong Wu Haibin Zheng 2023High-Confidence Computing2023,3,3:0
