| 2 | Microstructures of Sintered Mo-Cu Alloys with Mechanically Activated Powder显示文摘Mechanical activation and liquid phase sintering were used to manufacture high performance Mo-Cu alloy and develop new processes. The microsboctures and propefties of the alloy were investigated. The experimental results showed that: (1) the ball milled Mo/Cu powder has lamellar structure, (2) the microstructures of the sintered Mo-Cu alloy were homogenous composed structUres of adhesive phase Cu linking Mo grains, (3) Mo grains frequently strung or ga- thered in Cu phase, and (4) the full densities of Mo-Cu alloy was achieved through sintering and special densification process. | 3 | Semi-supervised machine-learning classification of materials synthesis procedures显示文摘Digitizing large collections of scientific literature can enable new informatics approaches for scientific analysis and meta-analysis.However,most content in the scientific literature is locked-up in written natural language,which is difficult to parse into databases using explicitly hard-coded classification rules.In this work,we demonstrate a semi-supervised machine-learning method to classify inorganic materials synthesis procedures from written natural language.Without any human input,latent Dirichlet allocation can cluster keywords into topics corresponding to specific experimental materials synthesis steps,such as“grinding”and“heating”,“dissolving”and“centrifuging”,etc.Guided by a modest amount of annotation,a random forest classifier can then associate these steps with different categories of materials synthesis,such as solid-state or hydrothermal synthesis.Finally,we show that a Markov chain representation of the order of experimental steps accurately reconstructs a flowchart of possible synthesis procedures.Our machine-learning approach enables a scalable approach to unlock the large amount of inorganic materials synthesis information from the literature and to process it into a standardized,machine-readable database. | Haoyan Huo Ziqin Rong Olga Kononova Wenhao Sun Tiago Botari Tanjin He Vahe Tshitoyan Gerbrand Ceder | 2019 | npj Computational Materials2019,,1: | 2 |

| 5 | Analysis on the Effects of Morphological Traits of Lutraria sieboldii on Its Body Mass Trait显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the relationship between morphological traits and body mass trait of Lutraria sieboldii.[Methods]110 were randomly selected from 120 2^(nd)-instar L.sieboldii collected from the Tieshangang area of Beihai,Guangxi,and 132 were randomly selected from 150 shellfish at the instar of 0.6.Their morphological traits were measured:shell length(SL),shell height(SH),shell width(SW),anterior length(AL),posterior length(PL),nose length(NL)in closed shell state,and maximum open shell width(OS)between two shells in closed shell state,and the body mass trait BM was also measured.Statistical methods such as path analysis and multiple regression were used for data analysis,and the effects of these seven morphological traits on the body mass trait were studied,respectively.The correlation between the tested seven quantitative traits and one body mass trait was all positive,all reaching an extremely significant level(P<0.01).[Results]The body mass trait of the shellfish at the instar of 2 had the highest correlation coefficient with shell length(0.922),that is,shell length had the greatest direct impact on the body mass trait;the path coefficient was 0.700;and the final multiple regression equation established was BM=-124.882+1.189 SL+1.551 SH+1.035 SW+0.119 NL,and the total determination coefficient(R^(2))on body mass was 0.849.The body mass trait of the shellfish at the instar of 0.6 had the highest correlation coefficient with shell length(0.859),that is,shell length had the greatest direct impact on the body mass trait;the path coefficient was 0.494;and the final multiple regression equation established was BM=-1.917+0.111 SL+0.021 NL+0.078 SW+0.032 OS,and the total determination coefficient(R~2)on body mass was 0.828.The multivariate regression variance analysis showed that the regression between the morphological traits and body mass trait of the L.sieboldii at the instars of 2 and 0.6 reached an extremely significant level(P<0.01).[Conclusions]This study provides a scientific basis for the selection of broodstock in the selection and breeding of L.sieboldii. | Dan GUO Jian CHEN Ziqin ZHAI Tongtong REN Jijin WANG Lirong BAI Dahui YU | 2021 | Agricultural Biotechnology2021,10,4: | 2 |
| 6 | Construction of ground-state preserving sparse lattice models for predictive materials simulations显示文摘First-principles based cluster expansion models are the dominant approach in ab initio thermodynamics of crystalline mixtures enabling the prediction of phase diagrams and novel ground states.However,despite recent advances,the construction of accurate models still requires a careful and time-consuming manual parameter tuning process for ground-state preservation,since this property is not guaranteed by default.In this paper,we present a systematic and mathematically sound method to obtain cluster expansion models that are guaranteed to preserve the ground states of their reference data.The method builds on the recently introduced compressive sensing paradigm for cluster expansion and employs quadratic programming to impose constraints on the model parameters.The robustness of our methodology is illustrated for two lithium transition metal oxides with relevance for Li-ion battery cathodes,i.e.,Li_(2x)Fe_(2(1−x))O_(2) and Li_(2x)Ti_(2(1−x))O_(2),for which the construction of cluster expansion models with compressive sensing alone has proven to be challenging.We demonstrate that our method not only guarantees ground-state preservation on the set of reference structures used for the model construction,but also show that out-of-sample ground-state preservation up to relatively large supercell size is achievable through a rapidly converging iterative refinement.This method provides a general tool for building robust,compressed and constrained physical models with predictive power. | Wenxuan Huang Alexander Urban Ziqin Rong Zhiwei Ding Chuan Luo Gerbrand Ceder | 2017 | npj Computational Materials2017,,1: | 2 |

| 13 | Strong and Injectable Hydrogels Based on Multivalent Metal Ion-Peptide Cross-linking显示文摘Injectable hydrogels are ideal biomaterials tor delivering cells,growth tactors and dmgs specifically to localized lesions and subsequent controlled release.Many factors can a fleet the efficacy of injectable hydrogels.To avoid potential damage to encapsulated cells or dmgs,injectable hydrogels should be highly dynamic so that they can undergo shear-thinning at low strain rates and rapidly refonn after injection.However,dynamic hydrogels are often mechanically weak,leading to the leakage of encapsulated cells or drugs.Here we demonstrated a convenient method to improve the mechanical strength without jeopardizing the dynamic properties of hydrogels by using metal ion-peptide crosslinkers containing multiple metal ion-ligand bonds.We showed that the dynamic properties of the hydrogels correlated with the intrinsic dynamics of the metal-ligand bonds and were not atlected by the fonnation of multivalent binding.Yet,the mechanical stability of the hydrogels was significantly improved due to the increased themiodynamic stability of the crosslinkers.We turthcr showed that the drug release rates were slowed down by the formation of multivalent crosslinkers.Our results highlight the importance of ligand valency to themechanical response of hydrogels and provide a universal route to rationally tune the dynamic and mechanical properties of injectable hydrogels. | YU Wenting XUE Bin ZHU Zhenshu SHEN Ziqin QIN Meng WANG Wei CAO Yi | 2020 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,5: | 1 |
