1Coherent Streamline Generation for 2-D Vector Fields显示文摘Visualizing 2-D vector fields using streamlines is one popular ?ow visualization technique.Standard streamline generation algorithms compute the density of streamlines across the domain,detect features,and employ customized rules to emphasize features.In this process,feature characterization and visual clarity are heavily considered.Simultaneously preserving the temporal coherence for time-varying vector fields,however,remains a challenge.In this paper,we present a coherent and feature-aware streamline generation algorithm by employing a feature-guided streamline seeding technique and a coherent streamline placing scheme.For each frame,a feature map is first computed with critical points or the Finite-Time Lyapunov Exponent(FTLE) approach,and is used to initialize a set of seeds by leveraging the Poisson Disk distribution.These seeds are further optimized by using a deformation-driven moving mesh method.To preserve the temporal coherence,the streamlines generated from the seeds are individually checked subject to their correspondences to the ones in the previous frame.Subsequently,additional streamlines are sequentially inserted in low-density regions.We demonstrate our algorithm on both Computation Fluid Dynamics(CFD) and non-CFD datasets,and compare it with the recent literature.Ziang Ding Xin Zhang Wei Chen Xavier Tricoche Dichao Peng Qunsheng Peng 2012Tsinghua Science and Technology2012,17,4:2
2Silver nanocubes monolayers as a SERS substrate for quantitative analysis显示文摘Surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)is a powerful spectroscopic tool in quantitative analysis of molecules,where the substrate plays a critical role in determining the detection performance.Herein,a silver nanocubes/polyelectrolyte/gold film sandwich structure was prepared as a reproducible,highperformance SERS substrate by the wate r/oil inte rfacial assembly method.In addition to the hot spots on the nanocubes surface,the edge-to-edge interspace of the Ag nanocubes led to marked enhancement of the SERS intensity,with a limit of detection of 10~(11)mol/L and limit of quantitation of 10~(10)mol/L for crystal violet.When rhodamine 6 G and crystal violet were co-adsorbed on the Ag nanocube surfaces,the characteristic SERS peaks of the two molecules remained well resolved and separated,and the peak intensities varied with the respective concentration,which could be exploited for concurrent detection of dual molecules.Results from this work indicate that organized ensembles of Ag nanocubes can serve as effective SERS substrate can for sensitive analysis for complex molecular systems.Ziang Zhou Xiuhui Bai Peishen Li Changzheng Wang Ming Guo Yang Zhang Peiren Ding Shaowei Chen Yunyun Wu Qiang Wang 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,4:1
3Raman Micro-Spectroscopic Study of Sulfate Ion in the System Na_2SO_4-H_2O显示文摘This work aims to quantify sulfate ion concentrations in the system Na_2SO_4-H_2O using Raman micro-spectroscopy.Raman spectra of sodium sulfate solutions with known concentrations were collected at ambient temperature(293 K) and in the 500 cm^(_1)-4000 cm^(-1) spectral region.The results indicate that the intensity of the SO_4^(2-) band increases with increasing concentrations of sulfate ion.A linear correlation was found between the concentration of SO_4^(2-)(c) and parameter I_1,which represents the ratio of the area of the SO_4^(2-) band to that of the O-H stretching band of water(A_s/A_w):I_1=-0.00102+0.01538 c.Furthermore,we deconvoluted the O-H stretching band of water(2800 cm^(-1)-3800 cm^(-1)) at 3232 and 3430 cm^(-1) into two sub-Gaussian bands,and then defined Raman intensity of the two sub-bands as A_(Bi)(3232 cm^(-1)) and A_(B2)(3430 cm^(-1)),defined the full width of half maximum(FWHM) of the two sub-bands as W_(B1)(3232 cm^(-1)) and W_(B2)(3430 cm^(-1)).A linear correlation between the concentration of SO_4^(2-)(c) and parameter I_2,which represents the ratio of Raman intensity of SO_4^(2-)(A_s)(in 981 cm^(-1)) to(A_(B1)+A_(B2)),was also established:I_2=-0.0111+0.3653 c.However,no correlations were found between concentration of SO_4^(2-)(c) and FWHM ratios,which includes the ratio of FWHM of SO_4^(2-)(W_s) to W_(B1) W_(B2) and W_(B1+B2)(the sum of W_(B1) and W_(B2)),suggesting that FWHM is not suitable for quantitative studies of sulfate solutions with Raman spectroscopy.A comparison of Raman spectroscopic studies of mixed Na_2SO_4 and NaCI solutions with a constant SO_4^(2-) concentration and variable CI^- concentrations suggest that the I\ parameter is affected by CI^-,whereas the I_2 parameter was not.Therefore,even if the solution is not purely Na_2SO_4-H_2O,SO_4^(2-) concentrations can still be calculated from the Raman spectra if the H_2O band is deconvoluted into two sub-bands,making this method potentially applicable to analysis of natural fluid inclusions.ZHU Dongliang ZHU Ziang PAN Junyi DING Junying NI Pei 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3:1
4Insight into demand-driven preparation of single-atomic mediators for lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S) batteries have attracted considerable attention as one of the most appealing energy storage systems.Strenuous efforts have been devoted to tackling the tremendous challenges,mainly pertaining to the severe shuttle effect,sluggish redox kinetics and lithium dendritic growth.Single-atomic mediators as promising candidates exhibit impressive performance in addressing these intractable issues.Related research often utilizes a trial-and-error approach,proposing solutions to fabricate single-atomic materials with diversified features.However,comprehensive review articles especially targeting demand-driven preparation are still in a nascent stage.Inspired by these considerations,this review summarizes the design of single-atomic mediators based on the application case-studies in LiS batteries and other metal-sulfur systems.Emerging preparation routes represented by chemical vapor deposition technology are introduced in a demand-oriented classification.Finally,future research directions are proposed to foster the advancement of single-atomic mediators in Li-S realm.Miaoyu Lu Yifan Ding Zaikun Xue Ziang Chen Yuhan Zou Jingyu Sun 2024Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,90,3:0
5Characterization of CoMn catalyst by in situ X-ray absorption spectroscopy and wavelet analysis for Fischer–Tropsch to olefins reaction显示文摘Cobalt carbide has recently been reported to catalyse the FTO con version of syngas with high selectivity for the production of lower olefins (C2-C4). Clarifying the formation process and atomic structure of cobalt carbide will help understand the catalytic mechanism of FTO. Herein, hydrogenati on of carb on monoxide was investigated for cobalt carbide synthesized from CoMn catalyst, followed by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, temperature programmed reaction and in situ X-ray absorption spectroscopy. 6Optimal Bidding and Operation of a Power Plant with Solvent-BasedCarbon Capture under a CO2 Allowance Market: A Solution with aReinforcement Learning-Based Sarsa Temporal-Difference Algorithm显示文摘In this paper, a reinforcement learning (RL)-based Sarsa temporal-difference (TD) algorithm is applied tosearch for a unified bidding and operation strategy for a coal-fired power plant with monoethanolamine(MEA)-based post-combustion carbon capture under different carbon dioxide (CO2) allowance market con-ditions. The objective of the decision maker for the power plant is to maximize the discounted cumulativeprofit during the power plant lifetime. Two constraints are considered for the objective formulation. Firstly,the tradeoff between the energy-intensive carbon capture and the electricity generation should be made un-der presumed fixed fuel consumption. Secondly, the CO2 allowances purchased from the CO2 allowance mar-ket should be approximately equal to the quantity of COs emission from power generation. Three case stud-ies are demonstrated thereafter. In the first case, we show the convergence of the Sarsa TD algorithm andfind a deterministic optimal bidding and operation strategy. In the second case, compared with the inde-pendently designed operation and bidding strategies discussed in most of the relevant literature, the SarsaTD-based unified bidding and operation strategy with time-varying flexible market-oriented CO2 capturelevels is demonstrated to help the power plant decision maker gain a higher discounted cumulative profit.In the third case, a competitor operating another power plant identical to the preceding plant is consideredunder the same CO2 allowance market. The competitor also has carbon capture facilities but applies a differ-ent strategy to earn profits.
