1A Two-Step Shape-Preserving Advection Scheme显示文摘This paper proposes a new two-step non-oscillatory shape-preserving positive definite finite difference advection transport scheme, which merges the advantages of small dispersion error in the simple first-order upstream scheme and small dissipation error in the simple second-order Lax-Wendroff scheme and is completely different from most of present positive definite advection schemes which are based on revising the upstream scheme results. The proposed scheme is much less time consuming than present shape-preserving or non-oscillatory advection transport schemes and produces results which are comparable to the results obtained from the present more complicated schemes. 2A REGULARIZED CONJUGATE GRADIENT METHOD FOR SYMMETRIC POSITIVE DEFINITE SYSTEM OF LINEAR EQUATIONS显示文摘AbstractA class of regularized conjugate gradient methods is presented for solving the large sparse system of linear equations of which the coefficient matrix is an ill-conditioned symmetric positive definite matrix. The convergence properties of these methods are discussed in depth, and the best possible choices of the parameters involved in the new methods are investigated in detail. 3The Harmonious Dissipative Operators and the Completely Square Conservative Difference Scheme in an Explicit Way显示文摘In this paper, a new definition on harmonious dissipative operators is given and some important properties of theirs are shown. Especially, the relationship between a harmonious dissipative operator and the completely square conservative difference scheme in an explicit way is revealed. Kinds of 2-order, 3-order and 4-order harmonious dissipative operators are constructed by using the traditional Runge-Kutta method and a species of general m-order harmonious dissipative operators is established in the linear case. In addition, an efficiency parameter to appraise the time benefits of a harmonious dissipative operator is defined in this paper. 4Necessary and sufficient conditions for normalization and sliding mode control of singular fractional-order systems with uncertainties显示文摘The sliding mode control(SMC) problem for a normalized singular fractional-order system(SFOS) with matched uncertainties was investigated. Firstly, SFOS was normalized under constrained conditions. Then, the linear sliding mode(SM) function was designed using a fractional-order(FO) positive definite matrix and a linear matrix inequality(LMI). 7SDS-PAGE PROTEIN PATTERN AND ITS ANTIGENICITY ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENT ISOLATES OF SCHISTOSOMA JAPONICUM IN CHINA显示文摘Homogenates prepared from S. japonicum adult worms ofdifferent isolates from Anhui, Hubei, Guangxi, Yunnan andSichuan Provinces were analyzed by SDS-PAGE and enzymelinked immunoelectrotransfer blot (EITB) tested with rabbitanti-snails antibody. 10A CLASS OF NEW PARALLEL HYBRID ALGEBRAIC MULTILEVEL ITERATIONS显示文摘For the large sparse system of linear equations with symmetric positive definite block coefficient matrix resulted from suitable finite element discretization of the second-order self-adjoint elliptic boundary value problem, by making use of the algebraic multilevel iteration technique and the blocked preconditioning strategy, we construct preconditioning matrices having parallel computing function for the coefficient matrix and set up a class of parallel hybrid algebraic multilevel iteration methods for solving this kind of system of linear equations. Theoretical analyses show that, besides much suitable for implementing on the high-speed parallel multiprocessor systems, these new methods are optimal-order methods. 16Application of gradient descent algorithms based on geodesic distances显示文摘In this paper, the Riemannian gradient algorithm and the natural gradient algorithm are applied to solve descent direction problems on the manifold of positive definite Hermitian matrices, where the geodesic distance is considered as the objective function. The first proposed problem is the control for positive definite Hermitian matrix systems whose outputs only depend on their inputs. The geodesic distance is adopted as the difference of the output matrix and the target matrix. The controller to adjust the input is obtained such that the output matrix is as close as possible to the target matrix. We show the trajectory of the control input on the manifold using the Riemannian gradient algorithm. The second application is to compute the Karcher mean of a finite set of given Toeplitz positive definite Hermitian matrices, which is defined as the minimizer of the sum of geodesic distances. To obtain more efficient iterative algorithm than traditional ones, a natural gradient algorithm is proposed to compute the Karcher mean. 19Preconditioned Iterative Methods for Algebraic Systems from Multiplicative Half-Quadratic Regularization Image Restorations显示文摘Image restoration is often solved by minimizing an energy function consisting of a data-fidelity term and a regularization term. A regularized convex term can usually preserve the image edges well in the restored image. In this paper, we consider a class of convex and edge-preserving regularization functions, I.e., multiplicative half-quadratic regularizations, and we use the Newton method to solve the correspondingly reduced systems of nonlinear equations. At each Newton iterate, the preconditioned conjugate gradient method, incorporated with a constraint preconditioner, is employed to solve the structured Newton equation that has a symmetric positive definite coefficient matrix.The igenvalue bounds of the preconditioned matrix are deliberately derived, which can be used to estimate the convergence speed of the preconditioned conjugate gradient method.
