1Clinacanthus nutans:a review of the medicinal uses,pharmacology and phytochemistry显示文摘Clinacanthus nutans Lindau is known as snake grass belonging to the Acanlhaceae family.This plant has diverse and potential medicinal uses in traditional herbal medicine for treating skin rashes,insects and snake bites,lesions caused by herpes simplex virus,diabetes,and gout in Malaysia.Indonesia.Thailand and China.Phylochemieal investigations documented the varied contents of bioaclive compounds from litis plant namely flavonoids,glycosides,glycoglyeerolipids.cerebrosides and monoacylmonogalatosylglycerol.The pharmacological experiment proved that various types of extracts and pure compounds from this species exhibited a broad range of biological properties such as anti-inflammatory,antiviral,antioxidant,and anti-diabetic activities.The lindings of toxicity study showed that extracts from this plant did not show any toxicity thus it can be used as strong therapeutic agents for specific diseased conditions.However,further experiments on chemical components and their mode of action showing biological activities are required to elucidate the complete phytochemical profile and assess to confirm their suitability tor future drugs.This review summarizes the medicinal uses,phytochemistry and pharmacology of this plant in order to explore its therapeutic potential and gaps necessitating for prospected research work.Md.Ariful Alam Sahena Ferdosh Kashif Ghafoor Md.Abdul Hakim Abdul Shukor Juraimi Alfi Khatib Md.Zaidul I.Sarker 2016Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2016,9,4:7

6Design, mechanism, delivery and therapeutics of canonical and Dicer-substrate siRNA显示文摘Upon the discovery of RNA interference(RNAi),canonical small interfering RNA(si RNA) has been recognized to trigger sequence-specific gene silencing. Despite the benefits of si RNAs as potential new drugs,there are obstacles still to be overcome,including off-target effects and immune stimulation. More recently,Dicer substrate si RNA(Dsi RNA) has been introduced as an alternative to si RNA. Similarly,it also is proving to be potent and target-specific,while rendering less immune stimulation. Dsi RNA is 25–30 nucleotides in length,and is further cleaved and processed by the Dicer enzyme. As with si RNA,it is crucial to design and develop a stable,safe,and efficient system for the delivery of Dsi RNA into the cytoplasm of targeted cells. Several polymeric nanoparticle systems have been well established to load Dsi RNA for in vitro and in vivo delivery,thereby overcoming a major hurdle in the therapeutic uses of Dsi RNA. 7Cooperative Subcarrier Sensing Using Antenna Diversity Based Weighted Virtual Sub Clustering显示文摘The idea of cooperation and the clustering amongst cognitive radios(CRs) has recently been focus of attention of research community, owing to its potential to improve performance of spectrum sensing(SS) schemes. This focus has led to the paradigm of cluster based cooperative spectrum sensing(CBCSS). In perspective of high date rate 4th generation wireless systems, which are characterized by orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) and spatial diversity, there is a need to devise effective SS strategies. A novel CBCSS scheme is proposed for OFDM subcarrier detection in order to enable the non-contiguous OFDM(NC-OFDM) at the physical layer of CRs for efficient utilization of spectrum holes. Proposed scheme is based on the energy detection in MIMO CR network, using equal gain combiner as diversity combining technique, hard combining(AND, OR and Majority) rule as data fusion technique and antenna diversity based weighted clustering as virtual sub clustering algorithm. Results of proposed CBCSS are compared with conventional CBCSS scheme for AND, OR and Majority data fusion rules. 11Genetic Diversity in ex-situ Conserved Lens culinaris for Botanical Descriptors, Biochemical and Molecular Markers and Identification of Landraces from Indigenous Genetic Resources of Pakistan显示文摘Lentil, one of the oldest legumes was investigated for diversity based on botanical descriptors, total seed proteins, isozymes and random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. About one fourth of accessions were heterogeneous for botanical descriptors and a seed protein profile. The germplasm collected from the province of Baluchistan revealed the prevalence of indigenous landraces as high diversity was observed for all of the techniques. Diversity explored through various techniques revealed validity irrespective of the sample size or geographic pattern, RAPD being the best choice for investigating both inter-and intra-accession variation in lentil. Although all of the techniques were able to resolve genetic diversity in lentil, isozymes and seed proteins gave low levels of genetic diversity, suggesting that more investigation into isozymes of specific proteins is required. 12Low glucose metabolite 3-phosphoglycerate switches PHGDH from serine synthesis to p53 activation to control cell fate显示文摘Glycolytic intermediary metabolites such as fructose-1,6-bisphosphate can serve as signals,controlling metabolic states beyond energy metabolism.However,whether glycolytic metabolites also play a role in controlling cell fate remains unexplored.Here,we find that low levels of glycolytic metabolite 3-phosphoglycerate(3-PGA)can switch phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase(PHGDH)from cataplerosis serine synthesis to pro-apoptotic activation of p53.PHGDH is a p53-binding protein,and when unoccupied by 3-PGA interacts with the scaffold protein AXIN in complex with the kinase HIPK2,both of which are also p53-binding proteins.This leads to the formation of a multivalent p53-binding complex that allows HIPK2 to specifically phosphorylate p53-Ser46 and thereby promote apoptosis.Furthermore,we show that PHGDH mutants(R135W and V261M)that are constitutively bound to 3-PGA abolish p53 activation even under low glucose conditions,while the mutants(T57A and T78A)unable to bind 3-PGA cause constitutive p53 activation and apoptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)cells,even in the presence of high glucose.In vivo,PHGDH-T57A induces apoptosis and inhibits the growth of diethylnitrosamine-induced mouse HCC,whereas PHGDH-R135W prevents apoptosis and promotes HCC growth,and knockout of Trp53 abolishes these effects above.Importantly,caloric restriction that lowers whole-body glucose levels can impede HCC growth dependent on PHGDH.Together,these results unveil a mechanism by which glucose availability autonomously controls p53 activity,providing a new paradigm of cell fate control by metabolic substrate availability.Yu-Qing Wu Chen-Song Zhang Jinye Xiong Dong-Qi Cai Chen-Zhe Wang Yu Wang Yan-Hui Liu Yu Wang Yiming Li Jian Wu Jianfeng Wu Bin Lan Xuefeng Wang Siwei Chen Xianglei Cao Xiaoyan Wei Hui-Hui Hu Huiling Guo Yaxin Yu Abdul Ghafoor Changchuan Xie Yaying Wu Zheni Xu Cixiong Zhang Mingxia Zhu Xi Huang Xiufeng Sun Shu-Yong Lin Hai-Long Piao Jianyin Zhou Sheng-Cai Lin 2023Cell Research2023,33,11:0
13亚金跳小蜂在不同生育期扶桑绵粉蚧寄主上的生物学特性(英文)显示文摘【目的】探讨亚金跳小蜂对不同生育期扶桑绵粉蚧的影响,为今后寄生蜂的饲养和推广及扶桑绵粉蚧的生物防治提供理论参考。【方法】分别以4个龄期的15头扶桑绵粉蚧、30头3龄幼虫和成虫为试虫进行选择性和非选择性试验,每虫笼放入1对亚金跳小蜂,每天记录寄主和寄生蜂的存活情况。【结果】亚金跳小蜂的最大寄生率和扶桑绵粉蚧的最大僵虫量均在扶桑绵粉蚧3龄若虫期出现,而最低值均在其2龄若虫期出现。在选择和非选择试验中,亚金跳小蜂雌虫的寿命差异不显著(P>0.05)。在以扶桑绵粉蚧2龄若虫为试验对象的选择性和非选择性试验中,雌性亚金跳小蜂的生命周期分别为12.69±0.19和13.24±0.40d。在以扶桑绵粉蚧3龄若虫为试验对象的选择性和非选择性试验中,雌性亚金跳小蜂的生命周期分别为15.51±0.28和15.12±0.14d。寄生蜂的发育周期因寄主龄期而有明显差异,在扶桑绵粉蚧3龄若虫期寄生的亚金跳小蜂生命周期最长,而在扶桑绵粉蚧3龄若虫期寄生的亚金跳小蜂生命周期最短。【结论】作为寄生蜂的亚金跳小蜂在寄主扶桑绵粉蚧3龄若虫期的成虫量最大,在2龄若虫期的成虫量最小。Qurban Ali Rind Abdul Ghani Lanjar Abdul Ghafoor Rahoo Ghulam Sarwar Solangi 吕荣华 付岗 覃武 2019南方农业学报2019,50,9:0
