| 1 | Effect of Graphene Nanoplatelets addition on mechanical properties of pure aluminum using a semi-powder method显示文摘In recent years, graphene has attracted considerable research interest in all fields of science due to its unique properties. Its excellent mechanical properties lead it to be used in nano-composites for strength enhancement. This paper reports an Aluminum–Graphene Nanoplatelets(Al/GNPs)composite using a semi-powder method followed by hot extrusion. The effect of GNP nano-particle integration on tensile, compressive and hardness response of Al is investigated in this paper. It is demonstrated that 0.3 wt% Graphene Nanoplatelets distributed homogeneously in the matrix aluminum act as an effective reinforcing filler to prevent deformation. Compared to monolithic aluminum(in tension), Al–0.3 wt% GNPs composite exhibited higher 0.2% yield strength(+14.7%), ultimate tensile strength(+11.1%) and lower failure strain( -40.6%). Surprisingly, compared to monolithic Al(in compression), Al–0.3 wt% GNPs composite exhibited same 0.2% compressive yield strength and lower ultimate compression strength(- 7.8%),and lower failure strain(- 20.2%). | 3 | 油罐车火灾下钢-混凝土组合梁桥结构响应研究显示文摘采用数值模拟方法,研究钢-混凝土组合梁式公路桥在大型车辆火灾下的结构响应,考察桥梁形式、火灾工况及荷载比的影响。首先以规范给定的烃类火灾升温曲线及CFD模拟实际油罐车火灾所得到的升温曲线作为温度边界条件,用ABAQUS建立了8个有限元模型进行计算,得出了构件内部温度场,发现实际火灾下斜交桥受火跨最高温度低于正交桥的,但整体温度更高;实际火灾较规范火灾下结构升温更快,最高温度更高;随后以受火升温结果作为温度荷载,通过恒载升温分析,考察了共计18个案例的结构响应,发现正交桥和斜交桥在火灾下的破坏模式有较大差别,前者出现不适于继续承载的变形,同时伴随着远端支座腹板屈曲的局部破坏,而后者主要体现为远端支座腹板严重屈曲;最后提出了针对钢-混凝土组合梁桥抗火措施和设计思路的建议。 | 李国强 许炎彬 Asif Usmani | 2016 | 防灾减灾工程学报2016,36,3: | 18 |
| 4 | Investigation on microstructural, mechanical and electrochemical properties of aluminum composites reinforced with graphene nanoplatelets显示文摘In present study,the microstructure,mechanical and electrochemical properties of aluminum-graphene nanoplatelets(GNPs) composites were investigated before and after extrusion.The contents of graphene nanoplatelets(GNPs) were varied from 0.25 to 1.0 wt.%in aluminum matrix.The composites were fabricated thorough powder metallurgy method,and the experimental results revealed that Al-0.25%GNPs composite showed better mechanical properties compared with pure Al,Al-0.50%GNPs and Al-0.1.0%GNPs composites.Before extrusion,the Al-0.25%GNPs composite showed ~13.5%improvement in ultimate tensile strength(UTS) and ~50%enhancement in failure strain over monolithic matrix.On the other hand,Al-0.50%GNPs and Al-0.1.0%GNPs composites showed the tensile strength lower than monolithic matrix.No significant change was observed in 0.2%yield strength(YS) of the composites.However,the extruded materials showed different trends.The0.2%YS of composites increased with increase in GNPs filler weight fractions.Surprisingly,UTS of composites with 0.25 and 0.50%GNPs was lower than monolithic matrix.The failure strain of the baseline matrix was enhanced by ~46%with 0.25%graphene nanoplatelets.The superior mechanical properties(in terms of failure strain) of the Al-0.25%GNPs composite maybe attributed to 2-D structure,high surface area and curled nature of graphene.In addition,the corrosion resistance of pure Al and its composites reinforced with 0.5 and 1.0 wt%GNPs was also investigated.It was found that the corrosion rate increased considerably by the presence of GNPs. | Muhammad Rashad Fusheng Pan Zhengwen Yu Muhammad Asif Han Lin Rongjian Pan | 2015 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2015,25,5: | 17 |

| 10 | Is it time to replace propranolol with carvedilol for portal hypertension?显示文摘Beta-adrenergic receptor antagonists(β-blockers) have been well established for use in portal hypertension for more than three decades. Different Non-selective β-blockers like propranolol, nadolol, timolol, atenolol, metoprolol and carvedilol have been in clinical practice in patients with cirrhosis. Carvedilol has proven 2-4 times more potent than propranolol as a beta-receptor blocker in trials conducted testing its efficacy for heart failure. Whether the same effect extends to its potency in the reduction of portal venous pressures is a topic of on-going debate. The aim of this review is to compare the hemodynamic and clinical effects of carvedilol with propranolol, and attempt assess whether carvedilol can be used instead of propranolol in patients with cirrhosis. Carvedilol is a promising agent among the beta blockers of recent time that has shown significant effects in portal hypertension hemodynamics. It has also demonstrated an effective profile in its clinical application specifically for the prevention of variceal bleeding. Carvedilol has more potent desired physiological effects when compared to Propranolol. However, it is uncertain at the present juncture whether the improvement in hemodynamics also translates into a decreased rate of disease progression and complications when compared to propranolol. | 16 | Physical activity, obesity and gastroesophageal reflux disease in the general population显示文摘AIM: To clarify the association between physical activity and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in nonobese and obese people. METHODS: A Swedish population-based cross-sectional survey was conducted. Participants aged 40-79 years were randomly selected from the Swedish Registry of the Total Population. Data on physical activity, GERD, body mass index (BMI) and the covariates age, gender, comorbidity, education, sleeping problems, and tobacco smoking were obtained using validated questionnaires. GERD was self-reported and defined as heartburn or regurgitation at least once weekly, and having at least moderate problems from such symptoms. Frequency of physical activity was categorized into three groups: (1) 'high' (several times/week); (2) 'intermediate' (approximately once weekly); and (3) 'low' (1-3 times/mo or less). Analyses were stratified for participants with 'normal weight' (BMI < 25 kg/m 2 ), 'overweight' (BMI 25 to ≤ 30 kg/m 2 ) and 'obese' (BMI > 30 kg/m 2 ). Multivariate logistic regression was used to calculate odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs), adjusted for potential confounding by covariates. RESULTS: Of 6969 eligible and randomly selected individuals, 4910 (70.5%) participated. High frequency of physical activity was reported by 2463 (50%) participants, GERD was identified in 472 (10%) participants, and obesity was found in 680 (14%). There were 226 (5%) individuals with missing information about BMI. Normal weight, overweight and obese participants were similar regarding distribution of gender and tobacco smoking status, while obese participants were on average slightly older, had fewer years of education, more comorbidity, slightly more sleeping problems, lower frequency of physical activity, and higher occurrence of GERD. Among the 2146 normal-weight participants, crude point estimates indicated a decreased risk of GERD among individuals with high frequency of physical activity (OR: 0.59, 95% CI: 0.39-0.89), compared to low frequency of physical activity. However, after adjustment for potential confounding factors, neither intermediate (OR: 1.30, 95% CI: 0.75-2.26) nor high (OR: 0.99, 95% CI: 0.62-1.60) frequency of physical activity was followed by decreased risk of GERD. Sleeping problems and high comorbidity were identified as potential confounders. Among the 1859 overweight participants, crude point estimates indicated no increased or decreased risk of GERD among individuals with intermediate or high frequency of physical activity, compared to low frequency. After adjustment for confounding, neither intermediate (OR: 0.75, 95% CI: 0.46-1.22) nor high frequency of physical activity were followed by increased or decreased risk of GERD compared to low frequency among nonobese participants. Sleeping problems and high comorbidity were identified as potential confounders for overweight participants. In obese individuals, crude ORs were similar to the adjusted ORs and no particular confounding factors were identified. Intermediate frequency of physical activity was associated with a decreased occurrence of GERD compared to low frequency of physical activity (adjusted OR: 0.41, 95% CI: 0.22-0.77). | 17 | PI3K signaling pathway targeting by using different molecular approaches to treat cancer显示文摘Recent evidence of research has been proposed that the phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K) pathway is noticeable target for searching novel anticancer agents. The phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K) is accountable for harmonizing a diverse range of cell functions, such as transcription, proliferation, cell survival, cell growth, degranulation, vesicular trafficking and cell migration, which are mostly involved in carcinogenesis. Particularly, PI3K-mediated signaling molecules and its effects on gene expression contribute to tumorigenesis. PI3Ks generally are grouped into three distinct classes: Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ according to their structure and function. The class IA of PI3K includes an alpha, beta or delta p110 catalytic subunit(p110α, p110β, or p110γ), which are associated with the activation of RTKs. Mutations in PIK3CA, the gene encoding the p110α catalytic subunit of PI3K, have just been recognized as novel mechanisms of inducing oncogenic PI3K signaling. Therefore, the class IA PI3K is the only one of most evidently implicated in cancer. The PI3K pathway is mostly mutated in more cancer patients compared with normal person, making it an eyecatching molecular target for analyses based on inhibitor molecule. In this article, we highlighted the signaling effects and regulation pathway of PI3K involved in the development and survival of tumor cells. | 18 | 饮食与胆囊癌关系的流行病学研究显示文摘目的探讨饮食因素与胆囊癌发病的关联,为采取预防措施提供科学依据。方法采用全人群病例对照研究,研究对象为1997年6月-2001年5月期间确诊的、年龄在35-74岁的上海市区368例胆囊癌新发病例以及按性别、年龄(5岁一组)频数配对的895例人群对照。采用非条件logistic回归模型分析饮食各因素与胆囊癌的关系。结果女性中,与最低四分位数组相比,葱属类蔬菜年摄入次数最高四分位组的调整OR为0.55(95%CI:0.31-0.97;Ptrend=0.06);与不吃组比较,大蒜头和洋葱最高摄入组的调整OR分别为0.59(95%CI:0.34-0.99;Ptrend=0.03)和0.52(95%CI:0.30-0.91;Ptrend=0.01)。与最低四分位组比较,腌制品摄入其余各组调整OR在女性中依次为1.06、1.88、2.31,Ptrend<0.001;与不吃乳腐组比较,余三组的调整OR依次为1.19、1.47、1.88.Ptrend<0.01。男性结果与女性类似,腌制品和葱属类蔬菜摄入的各组OR都有不显著的升高和降低。结论新鲜蔬菜,尤其是葱属类蔬菜对胆囊癌的保护作用在女性比男性明显,而且以大蒜头、洋葱的保护作用较为显著。而腌制品摄入,尤其是乳腐,可能会增加胆囊癌的发病风险。 | 张学宏 高玉堂 邓杰 程家蓉 刘恩菊 邬恺 孙璐 Asif Rashid Gloria Gridley Ann W Hsing | 2005 | 肿瘤2005,25,4: | 7 |
| 19 | 腹腔镜胆囊切除术与意外胆囊癌显示文摘目的:探讨腹腔镜胆囊切除术后意外发现胆囊癌的处理方法。方法:对1997~2001年14例腹腔镜胆囊切除术中或术后意外发现的胆囊癌进行临床病理分析。结果:14例意外胆囊癌中男2例,女12例。平均年龄66.1岁。术前诊断1例为胆囊息肉,余13例为胆囊炎胆囊结石(92.8%)。有7例中转开腹手术,1例因发现转移仅在腹腔镜下行腹壁肿块活检术,6例完成腹腔镜胆囊切除术。术后病理TNM分期:0期1例,Ⅰ期4例,Ⅱ期3例,Ⅲ期3例,Ⅳb期3例。至随访截止时,已有9人死亡,5人仍存活,存活期超过36个月者有4人,最长者已存活68月。结论:腹腔镜胆囊切除术不适用于胆囊癌病人。提倡腹腔镜术中对可疑病灶进行冰冻切片病理检查。对胆囊癌侵犯深度超过肌层者应中转开腹或术后再次开腹行根治性手术。 | 秦净 王炳生 韩天权 张柏和 沈铭昌 邓杰 Asif Rashid Ann W Hsing 高玉堂 | 2005 | 外科理论与实践2005,10,4: | 6 |
| 20 | 基于OpenSees的火灾下钢结构连续性倒塌分析显示文摘主要研究了火灾下平面钢框架的连续性倒塌模式和机制。应用OpenSees软件,对某5跨8层平面钢框架结构模型进行数值分析,研究了荷载比、梁柱刚度比和火灾场景对结构倒塌模式的影响。结果表明,随着荷载比的增大,结构倒塌模式由侧向倾倒式倒塌变为整体下沉式倒塌;当梁柱刚度比较小时,由于梁的悬链性效应,使结构发生偏向受火开间的侧向位移直至倒塌(弱梁机制),当梁的刚度比较大时,破坏首先发生在框架底层柱,结构呈整体下沉式倒塌(强梁机制);火灾中水平和竖向分布易分别引起结构局部和整体的倒塌。 | 姜健 Asif Usmani 李国强 | 2015 | 防灾减灾工程学报2015,35,1: | 6 |
