| 1 | In-plane corrugated cosine honeycomb for 1D morphing skin and its application on variable camber wing显示文摘A novel 0-Poisson's ratio cosine honeycomb support structure of flexible skin is proposed. Mechanical model of the structure is analyzed with the energy method, finite element method (FEM) and experiments have been performed to validate the theoretical model. The in-plane characteristics of the cosine honeycomb are compared with accordion honeycomb through analytical models and experiments. Finally, the application of the cosine honeycomb on a variable camber wing is studied. Studies show that mechanical model agrees well with results of FEM and experiments. The transverse non-dimensional elastic modulus of the cosine honeycomb increases (decreases) when the wavelength or the wall width increases (decreases), or when the amplitude decreases (increases). Compared with accordion honeycomb, the transverse non-dimensional elastic modulus of the cosine honeycomb is smaller, which means the driving force is smaller and the power consumption is less during deformation. In addition, the cosine honeycomb can satisfy the deform- ing requirements of the variable camber wing. | Liu Weidong Zhu Hua Zhou Shengqiang Bai Yalei Wang Yuan Zhao Chunsheng | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,4: | 10 |
| 2 | Topology optimization of support structure of telescope skin based on bit-matrix representation NSGA-II显示文摘Non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II(NSGA-II)with multiple constraints handling is employed for multi-objective optimization of the topological structure of telescope skin,in which a bit-matrix is used as the representation of a chromosome, and genetic algorithm(GA)operators are introduced based on the matrix. Objectives including mass,in-plane performance, and out-of-plane load-bearing ability of the individuals are obtained by fnite element analysis(FEA)using ANSYS,and the matrix-based optimization algorithm is realized in MATLAB by handling multiple constraints such as structural connectivity and in-plane strain requirements.Feasible confgurations of the support structure are achieved. The results confrm that the matrix-based NSGA-II with multiple constraints handling provides an effective method for two-dimensional multi-objective topology optimization. | Liu Weidong Zhu Hua Wang Yiping Zhou Shengqiang Bai Yalei Zhao Chunsheng | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,6: | 7 |
| 3 | Functionalizations of boron nitride nanostructures显示文摘Boron nitride(BN) nanomaterials share the same atomic structures as their carbon counterparts, with mechanical and thermal properties second only to carbon counterparts. Especially, the iconicity of B-N bonds results in exceptionally high thermal stability and corrosion resistance, making BN nanomaterials a compelling contender for fabricating devices that can operate under harsh environments. However, all pristine BN nanomaterials are electric insulators and lack semiconductive functionality. How to efficiently regulate the electronic properties of BN nanomaterials has impeded the way of delivering their potential into applications. Here, we report an overview of key progress in functionalizing BN nanostructures by means of multi-physical-field coupling at nanoscale. In particular, we present how the chemical doping, electric fields, elastic strains and interfaces can modify the band structures and hence lead to narrowed bandgap and even magnetism in various BN nanostructures. We also discuss the effect of these modulation methods on charge carrier motility as well as potential challenges of their experimental implementation. Without applied doping, strain and electric field, employing inherent BN polarity to form electrically polarized interfaces is proposed to functionalize BN nanostructures towards controlled electronic properties combined with high carrier motility. We finally discuss recent progress of experimental synthesis of quality h-BN samples in large area. | BAI YaLei XUE MinMin ZHAO ZhiQiang ZHANG ZhuHua | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,1: | 1 |
| 4 | ENO1 expression and Erk phosphorylation in PDAC and their effects on tumor cell apoptosis in a hypoxic microenvironment显示文摘Objective: Hypoxia is an important feature of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC). Previously, we found that hypoxia promotes ENO1 expression and PDAC invasion. However, the underlying molecular mechanism was remains unclear. Methods: The relationship between ENO1 expression and clinicopathological characteristics was analyzed in 84 patients with PADC. The effects of CoCl2-induced hypoxia and ENO1 downregulation on the apoptosis, invasion, and proliferation of PDAC cells were evaluated in vitro and in vivo. Hypoxia-and ENO1-induced gene expression was analyzed by transcriptomic sequencing. Results: The prognosis of PDAC with high ENO1 expression was poor(P < 0.05). High ENO1 expression was closely associated with histological differentiation and tumor invasion in 84 PDAC cases(P < 0.05). Hypoxia increased ENO1 expression in PDAC and promoted its migration and invasion. Apoptotic cells and the apoptosis marker caspase-3 in the CoCl_(2)-treated ENO1-sh group were significantly elevated(P < 0.05). Transcriptomic sequencing indicated that CoCl_(2)-induced PDAC cells initiated MAPK signaling. Under hypoxic conditions, PDAC cells upregulated ENO1 expression, thereby accelerating ERK phosphorylation and inhibiting apoptosis(P < 0.05). Consistent results were also observed in a PDAC-bearing mouse hindlimb ischemia model. Conclusions: Hypoxia-induced ENO1 expression promotes ERK phosphorylation and inhibits apoptosis, thus leading to PDAC survival and invasion. These results suggest that ENO1 is a potential therapeutic target for PDAC. | Huizhi Sun Jing Mo Runfen Cheng Fan Li Yue Li Yuhong Guo Yanlei Li Yanhui Zhang Xiaoyu Bai Yalei Wang Xueyi Dong Danfang Zhang Jihui Hao | 2022 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,11: | 0 |
