| 1 | Reconstruction of temperature series of China for the last 1000 years显示文摘This paper reports a study on reconstructing temperature series for ten regions of China over the last 1000 years with a time resolution of 10 a. The regions concerned are: Northeast, North, East, South China, Taiwan, Central, Southwest, Northwest China, Xinjiang and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. A variety of proxy data, such as ice core, tree-rings, stalagmites, peat, lake sediments, pollen and historical records, were validated with instrumental observations made in the last 120 years, and applied in the recon- struction of the temperature series. A temperature series for whole China is then established by aver- aging the ten regional series with a weighting proportional to the area of each region. | 3 | Progress in studies of the climate of humid period and the impacts of changing precession in early-mid Holocene显示文摘Studies on the climate of humid period and the impacts of changing precession in the early-mid Holocene are reviewed in this paper. High-resolution proxy data indicated that the African Humid Period,strong summer monsoon from the Arabian Sea to South Asia, northward migration of ITCZ (lntertropical Convergence Zone) over the northern South America,and the humid period of China appeared in 10.5-5.5 kaBP,10.0-6.0 kaBP,10.5 5.4 kaBP,and 11.0-8.0 kaBP,respectively.Modeling studies proved that summer inso- lation over the Northern Hemisphere increased following the changes of precession in the early Holocene,which increased the land-sea temperature contrasts,intensified the summer monsoon circulation in the Northern Hemisphere,and finally induced a humid climate over the area under the influence of summer monsoon.However,modeling results underestimated the increase of precipitation and the degree of northward extension of monsoon rain belt compared with palaeo-environmental data.These discrepancies between the modeling results and the palaeo-environmental data may be associated with the changes of North Atlantic circulation,sea ice and veg- etation covers.Moreover,climate of the humid period was not stable,in which several droughts were inlaid on centennial scale.In this review,perspectives for further studies of the climate change of the humid period in the early-mid Holocene are also proposed. | Jianbin Huang Shaowu Wang Xinyu Wen Bao Yang | 2008 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2008,18,12: | 3 |

| 8 | A novel method for evaluating and improving the ~1H-MRSI glioma data quality显示文摘Metabolic information obtained by proton magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging (1H-MRSI) has been approved to be a powerful tool to identify either benign or malignant glioma, as well as to confirm the tumor level. However, 1H-MRSI data are affected by various factors, such as the thermal noise, eddy currents, susceptibility artifacts, and rigid body motion. To get accurate quantitative metabolic information, the key problem is to assess the 1H-MRSI data quality. In this paper, we introduce a new evaluating system to filter the data, and a new method, called wavelet denoising method, to improve the data quality under the evaluating system. | 10 | Design, Implementation and Control of an Amphibious Spherical Robot显示文摘We proposed and implemented a leg-vector water-jet actuated spherical robot and an underwater adaptive motion control system so that the proposed robot could perform exploration tasks in complex environments.Our aim was to improve the kinematic performance of spherical robots.We developed mechanical and dynamic models so that we could analyze the motions of the robot on land and in water.The robot was equipped with an Inertial Measurement Unit(IMU)that provided inclination and motion information.We designed three types of walking gait for the robot,with different stabilities and speeds.Furthermore,we proposed an online adjustment mechanism to adjust the gaits so that the robot could climb up slopes in a stable manner.As the system function changed continuously as the robot moved underwater,we implemented an online motion recognition system with a forgetting factor least squares algorithm.We proposed a generalized prediction control algorithm to achieve robust underwater motion control.To ensure real-time performance and reduce power consumption,the robot motion control system was implemented on a Zynq-7000 System-on-Chip(SoC).Our experimental results show that the robot’s motion remains stable at different speeds in a variety of amphibious environments,which meets the requirements for applications in a range of terrains. | Liwei Shi Zhongyin Zhang Zhengyu Li Shuxiang Guo Shaowu Pan Pengxiao Bao Lijie Duan | 2022 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2022,19,6: | 0 |
