| 1 | A review on carbon/magnetic metal composites for microwave absorption显示文摘At present,developing high-efficiency microwave absorption materials with properties including lightweight,thin thickness,strong absorbing intensity and broad bandwidth is an urgent demand to solve the electromagnetic pollution issues.An ideal microwave absorber should have excellent dielectric and magnetic loss capabilities,thereby inducing attenuation and absorption of incident electromagnetic radiation.Recently,various carbon/magnetic metal composites have been developed and expected to become promising candidates for high-performance microwave absorbers.In this review,we introduce the mechanisms of microwave absorption and summarize the recent advances in carbon/magnetic metal composites.Preparation methods and microwave absorption properties of carbon/magnetic metal composites with different components,morphologies and microstructures are discussed in detail.Finally,the challenges and future prospects of carbon/magnetic metal absorbing materials are also proposed,which will be useful to develop high-performance microwave absorption materials. | Baolei Wang Qian Wu Yonggang Fu Tong Liu | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,27: | 13 |

| 4 | Preparation and Corrosion Resistance of Anodic Oxidation Coatings on 2198 and 5A90 Al-Li Alloys显示文摘2198 and 5A90 Al-Li alloys were anodized with a constant DC potential in 18%H_2SO_4solution(Solu.A) and the mixture solution of 18%H_2SO_4+5%C_2H_2O_4(Solu.B) at room temperature. 12 and 11 V was optimized as the applied oxidation potential for 2198 and 5A90 alloys, respectively. Cross-sectional morphology, surface morphology and elements distribution of anodic oxidation coatings were observed by scanning electron microscope equipped with energy dispersive X-ray analysis(SEM/EDX). Corrosion resistance was tested by potentiodynamic polarization plot in 3.5%NaCl solution. The results showed that the thicknesses of coatings obtained at the selected potential in Solu.A and Solu.B were about 50 μm/110 μm for 2198 alloy and 80 μm/110 μm for 5A90 alloy. In both solutions, anodic oxidation coatings of 2198 alloy were primarily composed of Al oxides; those of 5A90 alloy were mainly consisted of Al oxides and a small amount of Mg oxides. | 9 | Amplified spontaneous emission, optical waveguide and polarized emission based on 2,5-diaminoterephthalates显示文摘A series of 2,5-diaminoterephthalates with a simple structure were synthesized through one-step reaction, and their bar-shaped single crystals with a large size and a smooth surface have been obtained via the solvent-evaporation method. These crystals exhibit bright emission with fluorescence quantum yields higher than 0.2. They display the waveguide property, and low optical loss coefficients for waveguide have been determined for the crystal of one compound. In addition, the crystal can cause linear polarization of the light emitted from it, with a high polarization contrast of 0.70. The structures of the compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and HRMS spectra. Thebioassays indicated that the fungicidal activities of compounds 10b(EC50=14.82 mg/L) and 10c(EC50=18.72 mg/L)against Cercospora arachidicola Hori in vitro were much higher than that of Azoxystrobin as control(EC50=40.54mg/L) and the fungicidal activities of compounds 10u(EC50=8.66 rag/L) and 10n(EC50=9.89 rag/L) against Rhizotoniacerealis in vitro were higher than that of the same control(EC50=10.86 rag/L). | 12 | PML contributes to p53-independent p21 up-regulation in gamma-irradiation induced DNA damage responses显示文摘The cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor p21 WAF1/Cip1 is a critical cell cycle regulator which translocates into the nucleus to participate in DNA repair during DNA damage responses. In the present study, we showed that the tumor suppressor, promyelocytic leukemia protein (PML) contributes to the up-regulation of p21 in a p53-independent pathway. Knock-down of PML in p53-null H1299 and HCT 116 (p53 –/– ) tumor cells by specific siRNA resulted in down-regulation of p21 protein expression, inhibition of -irradiation-induced p21 up-regulation, and a decrease in p21 protein half-life. In PML knockdown H1299 cells, the down-regulation of p21 protein expression was reversed by MG132 treatment indicating that the proteasomal degradation of p21 protein was increased. Thus, PML positively regulates p21 expression by inhibiting proteasome-mediated proteolysis. Knockdown of PML decreased the repair of -irradiation-induced double strand breaks (DSBs) as indicated by the delayed disappearance of -H2AX foci and a decreased association between p21 and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA). Over-expression of p21 significantly restored the delayed DSB repair function.
