| 2 | Synthesis, characterization and application of a dispersant based on rosin for coal-water slurry显示文摘A rosin derivative and maleopimaric acid diethanolamide(MAD), was synthesized, characterized by FTIR and1 H NMR, and applied as dispersant for the coal-water slurry(CWS) prepared from Chinese Shenfu coal. The CWS application performance investigation shows that the MAD dispersant has better abilities in reducing CWS viscosity and stabilizing the slurry than a commercial dispersant—sulfonated naphthalene-formaldehyde condensate(SNF). The physicochemical property investigation of the two tested dispersants shows that the adsorption amount of the MAD at coal-water interface is much larger than that of SNF, and the MAD has better wetting property than the SNF on the coal surface. It indicated that the excellent capabilities of MAD are related to the adsorption mode of standing upright on the coal surface. | 4 | Kernel position effects of grain morphological characteristics by X-ray micro-computed tomography (μCT)显示文摘Grain size and shape are important factors for yield and quality.The difference in grain phenotypic characteristics in the same maize hybrid is related to its position in the ear.This study aimed to clarify the distribution characteristics of grain morphological characteristics in the ear and to provide guidance for research of grain phenotype and kernel position effects.Three maize hybrids were used in the experiment,namely,Denghai 618(DH618),KX3564,and Xianyu 335(XY335),and the kernel number per row were 40,40,and 36,respectively.The X-rayμCT was applied to obtain five kernel morphological indicators,including grain length,width,thickness,volume,surface area.Grain sphericity,length-width ratio,specific surface area,and volume coefficient were further calculated.The results showed that there were three types of maize ear morphological indicators trends:grain length,width,volume,and surface area were parabolic;thickness and sphericity were inverted parabolic;length-to-width ratio and specific surface area were irregular.The volume coefficient of grain at different parts of the ear,namely the relation coefficient between grain volume and grain length,width,and thickness,was determined.The average value of the middle grains morphological indicators of the ear was taken to select kernels representing stable characteristics of the variety.Within the range of 5%deviation from the morphological mean value of the middle grains of the ear,the grains in the middle part accounted for 26.39%of the total ear,about 10 grains extending from the 14th grain at the base of the ear to the top.Within the range of 10%deviation,the middle accounted for 47.22%,about 18 grains extending from the 12th grain at the base of the ear to the top.This study found that grain morphological indicators were greatly different at different positions of the maize ear,and showed different change rules as extend from the base to the top of the ear.Therefore,there were different grain volume coefficients at different positions of maize ear.And the representative sampling range on maize ear was determined based on the comprehensive analysis of different morphological indexes variation of grain. | Xuebo Yin Junfeng Hou Bo Ming Ying Zhang Xinyu Guo Shang Gao Keru Wang Peng Hou Shaokun Li Ruizhi Xie | 2021 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,2: | 2 |
| 5 | Synthesis and insecticidal evaluation of novel sulfide-containing amide derivatives as potential ryanodine receptor modulators显示文摘With the aim of discovering new bioactive pesticides for crop protection,a series of novel sulfidecontaining amide derivatives A were efficiently synthesized via a strategy of modifying the“amide”structure of anthranilic diamide insecticides.The single-crystal structures of A2-3 and A4-5 were firstly reported.The bioassay results showed that most of the synthesized compounds display moderate to high insecticidal activities.Particularly,some sulfone-containing compounds,e.g.,A2-3,A3-3 and A6-3,not only possessed favorable lethality rate(50%–100%)against P.xylostella at a concentration of 0.1 mg/L,but also held good activities towards a variety of agricultural pests such as M.separata,C.pipiens pallen,H.armigera and O.nubilalis;the larvicidal activities of A4-1 and A6-1 towards P.xylostella were close to that of chlorantraniliprole at 0.01 mg/L.The calcium imaging experiments revealed that the representative compounds A2-3 and A6-3 are potential ryanodine receptor(RyR)modulators.The structure–activity relationships were discussed in detail.These results provide useful information for further design and development of novel insecticides. | Yan Zhang Yuxin Li Huan Li Junfeng Shang Zhengming Li Baolei Wang | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,1: | 1 |

| 11 | Roles of flanking sequences in the binding between unimolecular parallel-stranded G-quadruplexes and ligands显示文摘G-quadruplexes attract more and more attention in recent years.Numerous small molecules which can induce or stabilize the formation of G-quadruplexes have been investigated on the purpose of anticancer drug development.As a motif existed in physiological condition,flanking sequences are an important part of G-quadruplexes but the study on the impact of flanking sequences on (G-quadruplex)-ligand binding is rarely reported.In this paper,the effects of flanking sequences on binding affinity between a series of unimolecular parallel-stranded G-quadruplex sequences derived from c-myc oncogene promoter (termed as c-myc G-quadruplexes) and their ligands are discussed in detail.The results showed that the flanking sequences on c-myc G-quadruplexes play key roles in (G-quadruplex)-ligand interaction.When a c-myc G-quadruplex is bound to its ligands,the flanking sequences might form a binding cavity above the terminal G-quartet,which could provide a suitable site for ligands to dock in.Moreover,the bases on flanking sequences could interact with ligand through π-π stacking,and finally form a sandwich-stacking mode (terminal G-quartet,ligand and bases on the flanking sequence).This mode could stabilize the (G-quadruplex)-ligand complex effectively and enhance the binding affinity dramatically.However,flanking sequences are also found to exhibit steric hindrance effect which could impede the (G-quadruplex)-ligand binding. | GAI Wei YANG QianFan XIANG JunFeng SUN HongXia SHANG Qian LI Qian JIANG Wei GUAN AiJiao ZHANG Hong TANG YaLin XU GuangZhi | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,3: | 0 |
