2Alteration of p53 and p21 during hepatocarcinogenesis in tree shrews显示文摘AIM: To investigate p53 mutation and p21 expression in hepatocarcinogenesis induced by hepatitis B virus (HBV) and aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) in tree shrews, and to reveal the role of these genes in hepatocarcinogenesis.METHODS: Tree shrews were divided into four groups:group A, those infected with HBV and fed with AFB1 (n = 39);group B, those infected with HBV alone (n = 28); group C,those fed with AFB1 alone (n = 29); and group D, normal controls (n = 20). The tree shrews underwent liver biopsies once every 15 wk. Expression of p53 and p21 proteins and genes in the biopsies and tumor tissues of the experimental tree shrews was detected, respectively, by immunohistochemistry,and by Southem blotting and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and sequencing.RESULTS: The incidence of hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC) was higher in group A (66.7%) than that in group B (3.57%) and C (30%). The time of HCC occurrence was also earlier in group A than that in group C (120.0±16.6 wk vs 153.3±5.8 wk, respectively, P<0.01). p53 protein was not detected by immunohistochemistry in all groups before the 75^th wk of the experiment. At the 105^th wk, the positive rates fo p53 were 78.6%, 60% and 71.4% in groups A, B and C, respectively, which were significantly higher than that in group D (10%) (all P<0.05). An abnormal band of p53 gene was observed in groups A and C. The mutation points of p53gene in tree shrews with HCC were at codons 275, 78 and 13. The nucleotide sequence and amino acid sequence of tree shrew's wild-type p53 showed 91.7% and 93.4% homologies with those of human p53,respectively. The immunopositivity for p21 was found before HCC development. 3Chinese physicians' perceptions of fecal microbiota transplantation显示文摘AIM: To explore Chinese physicians' perceptions towards fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT) and to provide information and an assessment of FMT development in China.METHODS: A self-administered questionnaire was developed according to the FMT practice guidelines and was distributed to physicians in hospitals via Internet Research Electronic Data Capture(REDcap) software and electronic mails to assess their attitudes toward and knowledge of FMT. The questionnaire included a brief introduction of FMT that was followed by 20 questions. The participants were required to respond voluntarily, under the condition of anonymity and without compensation. Except for the fill-in-the-blank questions, all of the other questions were required in the REDcap data collection systems, and the emailed questionnaires were completed based on eligibility.RESULTS: Up to December 9, 2014, 844 eligible questionnaires were received out of the 980 distributed questionnaires, with a response rate of 86.1%. Among the participants, 87.3% were from tertiary hospitals, and there were 647(76.7%) gastroenterologists and 197(23.3%) physicians in other departments(nongastroenterologists). Gastroenterologists' awareness of FMT prior to the survey was much higher than non-gastroenterologists'(54.3 vs 16.5%, P < 0.001); however, acceptance of FMT was not statistically different(92.4 vs 87.1%, P = 0.1603). Major concerns of FMT included the following: acceptability to patients(79.2%), absence of guidelines(56.9%), and administration and ethics(46.5%). On the basis of understanding, the FMT indications preferred byphysicians were recurrent Clostridium difficile infection(86.7%), inflammatory bowel disease combined with Clostridium difficile infection(78.6%), refractory ulcerative colitis(70.9%), ulcerative colitis(65.4%), Crohn's disease(59.4%), chronic constipation(43.7%), irritable bowel syndrome(39.1%), obesity(28.1%) and type 2 diabetes(23.9%). For donor selection, the majority of physicians preferred individuals with a similar gut flora environment to the recipients. 76.6% of physicians chose lower gastrointestinal tract as the administration approach. 69.2% of physicians considered FMT a safe treatment. CONCLUSION: Chinese physicians have awareness and a high acceptance of FMT, especially gastroenterologists, which provides the grounds and conditions for the development of this novel treatment in China. 4Genome-wide identification and characterization of HSP gene superfamily in whitefly (Bemisia tabacl)and expression profiling analysis under temperature stress显示文摘Heat shock proteins (HSP)are essential molecular chaperones that play important roles in the stress stimulation of insects.Bemisia tabaci,a phloem feeder and invasive species,can cause extensive crop damage through direct feeding and transmission of plant viruses.Here we employed comprehensive genomics approaches to identity HSP superfamily members in the Middle East Asia Minor 1 whitefly genome.In total,we identified 26 Hsp genes,including three Hsp90,17 Hsp70,one Hsp60 and five sHSP (small heat shock protein)genes.The HSP gene superfamily of whitefly is expanded compared with the other five insects surveyed here.The gene structures among the same families are relatively conserved.Meanwhile,the motif compositions and secondary structures of BtHsp proteins were predicted.In addition,quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis showed that the expression patterns of BtHsp gene superfamily were diverse across different tissues of whiteflies.Most Hsp genes were induced or repressed by thermal stress (40℃)and cold treatment (4℃)in whitefly.Silencing the expression of BtHsp70-6 significantly decreased the survival rate of whitefly under 45℃.All the results showed the Hsps conferred thermo-tolerance or cold-tolerance to whiteflies that protect them from being affected by detrimental temperature conditions.Our observations highlighted the molecular evolutionary properties and the response mechanism to temperature assaults of Hsp genes in whitefly.Xin-Ru Wang Chao Wang Fei-Xue Ban Dan-Tong Zhu Shu-Sheng Liu Xiao-Wei Wang 2019Insect Science2019,26,1:11
5The construction of a genetic linkage map of non-heading Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris ssp.chinensis Makino)显示文摘Non-heading Chinese cabbage(Brassica campestris ssp.chinensis Makino) is one of the most important vegetables in eastern China.A genetic linkage map was constructed using 127 doubled haploid(DH) lines,and the DH population was derived from a commercial hybrid 'Hanxiao'(lines SW-13 × L-118).Out of the 614 polymorphic markers,43.49% were not assigned to any of the linkage groups(LGs).Chi-square tests showed that 42.67% markers were distorted from expected Mendelian segregation ratios,and the direction of distorted segregation was mainly toward the paternal parent L-118.After sequentially removing the markers that had an interval distance smaller than 1 cM from the upper marker,the overall quality of the linkage map was increased.Two hundred and sixty-eight molecular markers were mapped into 10 LGs,which were anchored to the corresponding chromosome of the B.rapa reference map based on common simple sequence repeat(SSR) markers.The map covers 973.38 cM of the genome and the average interval distance between markers was 3.63 cM.The number of markers on each LG ranged from 18(R08) to 64(R07),with an average interval distance within a single LG from 1.70 cM(R07) to 6.71 cM(R06).Among these mapped markers,169 were sequence-related amplified polymorphism(SRAP) mo-lecular markers,50 were SSR markers and 49 were random amplification polymorphic DNA(RAPD) markers.With further saturation to the LG,the current map offers a genetic tool for loci analysis for important agronomic traits.Yan Cheng Jianfeng Geng Jingyi Zhang Qian Wang Qingyu Ban Xilin Hou 2009Journal of Genetics and Genomics2009,36,8:9

11Fatigue driving detection based on Haar feature and extreme learning machine显示文摘As the significant branch of intelligent vehicle networking technology, the intelligent fatigue driving detection technology has been introduced into the paper in order to recognize the fatigue state of the vehicle driver and avoid the traffic accident. The disadvantages of the traditional fatigue driving detection method have been pointed out when we study on the traditional eye tracking technology and traditional artificial neural networks. On the basis of the image topological analysis technology, Haar like features and extreme learning machine algorithm, a new detection method of the intelligent fatigue driving has been proposed in the paper. Besides, the detailed algorithm and realization scheme of the intelligent fatigue driving detection have been put forward as well. 12Optimal subreflector position determination of shaped dual-reflector antennas based on the parameters iteration approach显示文摘A new method based on the parameters iteration technique has been developed to determine the optimal subreflector position for shaped Cassegrain antennas, that are distorted by gravity, to improve their electromagnetic(EM) performance. Both the features of shaped surface and the relationship between optical path difference(OPD) and far field beam pattern are employed. By describing the shaped dualreflector surface as a standard discrete parabola set, we can utilize the optical features of the standard Cassegrain system in the classical OPD relationship. Then, the actual far field beam pattern is expressed as the synthesis of ideal beam and error beam by decomposing subreflector adjustment parameters using a mechanical-electromagnetic-field-coupling-model(MEFCM). Furthermore, a numerical method for determining optimal subreflector position is presented. The proposed method is based on the iteration technique of subreflector adjustment parameters, and the optimal far field pattern is used for the iteration. The numerical solution of optimal adjustment parameters can be obtained rapidly. 13Silicon lithium-ion battery anode with enhanced performance: Multiple effects of silver nanoparticles显示文摘Silicon has been regarded as one of the most promising next generation lithium-ion battery anode. However, the poor cyclic stability of the Si based anode has severely limited its practical applications, which is even worse with high mass loading density(>1 mg cm^(-2)). A new concept has been developed to enhance the electrochemical performance of the Si nanoparticle anode. Silver nanoparticles are composited with the silicon nanoparticles in a facile way for the first time. It is found that the mechanical properties of the Si electrode have been significantly improved by the incorporation of the silver nanoparticles, leading to enhanced cyclic performance. With the Si/Ag mass ratio of 4:1, the reversible specific discharge capacity is retained as 1156 m A h g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 200 mA g^(-1), which is more than three times higher than that of the bare silicon(318 mA h g^(-1)). 14A Quantized Kernel Least Mean Square Scheme with Entropy-Guided Learning for Intelligent Data Analysis显示文摘Quantized kernel least mean square(QKLMS) algorithm is an effective nonlinear adaptive online learning algorithm with good performance in constraining the growth of network size through the use of quantization for input space. It can serve as a powerful tool to perform complex computing for network service and application. With the purpose of compressing the input to further improve learning performance, this article proposes a novel QKLMS with entropy-guided learning, called EQ-KLMS. Under the consecutive square entropy learning framework, the basic idea of entropy-guided learning technique is to measure the uncertainty of the input vectors used for QKLMS, and delete those data with larger uncertainty, which are insignificant or easy to cause learning errors. Then, the dataset is compressed. Consequently, by using square entropy, the learning performance of proposed EQ-KLMS is improved with high precision and low computational cost. 17Effect of Rolling Process on Microstructure and Properties of 95CrMo Drill Steel显示文摘In order to improve the strength and toughness of 95CrMo steel and explore a short flow process,a direct rolling process was employed,and the effect of finishing rolling process on microstructure and mechanical properties was investigated.The results show that,with the decrease of finishing rolling temperature,inter-lamellar spacing increases,the strength as well as hardness has a general increase,and secondary cementite is distributed uniformly but represents a remarkable decrease in size.Based on Hall-Petch type equation,an effective relationship of yield strength and pearlite structure parameters was established.The correlation coefficients between the measured and calculated strength were more than 0.95,which indicated a high reliability of the relationship.By analyzing the individual strength contributions of pearlite structures,yield strength was found to have a more great dependence on pearlite inter-lamellar spacing than colony size.Wei YU Bao-sheng XIE Ban WANG Qing-wu CAI Shi-xin XU 2016Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2016,23,9:3

19Effect of Ball Scribing on Magnetic Barkhausen Noise of Grain-oriented Electrical Steel显示文摘Effect of ball scribing on magnetic Barkhausen noise(MBN) of conventional grain-oriented(CGO) and highpermeability grain-oriented(HGO) electrical steel was investigated.The results showed that after ball scribing, root mean square of MBN(MBNrms) of CGO electrical steel increased 9.8%with 4 mm scribing spacing at 1.2 T,and that of HGO electrical steel apparently decreased 17.3%with 16 mm scribing spacing at 1.2 T. 20Efect of Ball Scribing on Relative Permeability of Grain-oriented Electrical Steel显示文摘Efect of ball scribing on relative permeability of conventional grain-oriented(CGO)and high permeability grain-oriented(HGO)electrical steel was investigated.The samples were scribed with spacing of 2 mm,4 mm,8 mm and 16 mm.The results show that after ball scribing with 16 mm width at 1.0 T,relative permeability of both℃GO and HGO steels was increased by 109%and 80%,respectively.Relative permeability rises as the scribing space increases,with the movement of the peak value of relative permeability to a higher flux density.Relational models describing relative permeability and flux density were constructed with high accuracy based on experimental data.The experimental data curves were analyzed during the magnetizing process.Hao WANG Changsheng LI Tao ZHU Nkwachukwu Chukwuchekwa Ban CAI Gang HUO 2013Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2013,26,5:2
