| 2 | Identification and Characterization of a New IgE-binding Protein in Mackerel (Scomber japonicus) by MALDI-TOF-MS显示文摘As fish is one source of the ‘big eight’ food allergens,the prevalence of fish allergy has increased over the past few years.In order to better understand fish allergy,it is necessary to identify fish allergens.Based on the sera from fish-allergenic patients,a 28 kDa protein from local mackerel (Scomber japonicus),which has not been reported as a fish allergen,was found to be reactive with most of the patients’ sera.The 28 kDa protein was analyzed by MALDI-TOF-MS (Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry).Mascot search in NCBI database (Date: 08/07/2010) showed that the top protein matched,i.e.triosephosphate isomerase (TPI) from Xiphophorus maculatus and Poecilia reticulata,had a mowse (molecular weight search) score of 98.In addition,TPI from Epinephelus coioides also matched this mackerel protein with a mowse score of 96.Because TPI is con-sidered as an allergen in other non-fish organisms,such as lychee,wheat,latex,archaeopotamobius (Archaeopotamobius sibiriensis) and crangon (Crangon crangon),we consider that it may also be an allergen in mackerel. | WANG Bangping LI Zhenxing ZHENG Lina LIU Yixuan LIN Hong | 2011 | Journal of Ocean University of China2011,10,1: | 5 |

| 8 | Effect of Crystallographic Orientation on Quenching Stress during Martensitic Phase Transformation of Carbon Steel Plate显示文摘During quenching, the residual stresses are affected by the crystallographic orientation of martensite, because the nonuniform thermal stresses affect the crystallographic orientation of the lathshaped martensite and induce the anisotropic expansion. To simulate this process, the model of anisotropic transformation induced plasticity(TRIP) was built using the WLR-BM phenomenological theory. The equivalent expansion coefficient was introduced considering the thermal and plastic strains, which simplified the numerical simulation. Furthermore, the quenching residual stresses in carbon steel plates were calculated using the finite element method under ANSYS Workbench simulation environment. To evaluate the simulative results, distributions of residual stresses from the surface to the interior at the center of specimen were measured using the layer-by-layer hole-drilling method. | 12 | Highly selective fluorescent chemosensor for Na^+ based on pyrene-modified calix[4]arene derivative显示文摘A novel calix[4]arene derivative with pyrene fluorophores at the upper rim and tetraester ionophores at the lower rim was synthesized in six steps,and its structure was proved by NMR and ESI-MS spectro-scopies. Furthermore,the chemosensing behavior of the host compound for alkali and alkaline earth metal ions was investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy. The obtained results show that the calix-arene host can selectively bind sodium ion with the complexation stability constant of 2190 mol-1.L. The complexation with sodium ion can pronouncedly induce the excimer emission to decrease and the monomer emission to increase,whereas the addition of the other alkali and alkaline earth metal ions does not cause appreciable changes in the fluorescence spectrum of the host compound. | 13 | Regulation of Water Masses to Hypoxia Zones in the Changjiang Estuary显示文摘The regulating ways of different water masses affecting the locations and intensities of hypoxia zones were studied based on the time-space continuum data from August 2011 to 2013–2017.The 6-year distribution of the hypoxic area in the Changjiang Estuary(CE)and its adjacent waters show that the hypoxic area can be divided into two segments.The southern segment is out of the south branch of the CE,whereas the northern segment is in the junction zone between the South Yellow Sea and the CE.The two segments were divided along the 31.5°–32°N latitude line.The northern and southern segments were dominated by the East China Sea shelf water(ECSSW)and Kuroshio subsurface water(KSW),respectively.When the KSW(salinity>34)intrusion reached the east of 123°E and south of 31°N,hypoxia zones mainly occurred in the southern segment covered by the Changjiang Diluted Water(CDW),meanwhile the Yellow Sea cold water mass may emerge in the northeastern area.When the KSW intensely invaded westward to the region between 122°and 122.5°E and northward to 31.5°N or further north,hypoxia zones appeared in the northern segment.The strength of the KSW with low dissolved oxygen concentration is the basic driving factor for the hypoxia occurrence in the CE.Moreover,the stratification is crucial for the southern segment,whereas the organic matter decomposition is dominated for the northern segment,even with severe hypoxia across the sea surface in the study area. | YANG Xingxing FAN Haimei ZHANG Hui CHEN Sisi YANG Ying JI Huanhong JIANG Xiaoshan DENG Bangping JIA Junhe | 2023 | Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,4: | 0 |

The abundance of Synechococcus sp. was nearly 2×10~6 cells/ml,and the contribution of Synechococcus sp. to chlorophyll a was nearly 90%.
