1Somatic Embryogenesis Receptor Kinases Control Root Development Mainly via Brassinosteroid-Independent Actions in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘Brassinosteroids(BRs),a group of plant steroidal hormones,play critical roles in many aspects of plant growth and development.Previous studies showed that BRI1-mediated BR signaling regulates cell division and differentiation during Arabidopsis root development via interplaying with auxin and other phytohormones.Arabidopsis somatic embryogenesis receptor-like kinases(SERKs),as co-receptors of BRI1,were found to play a fundamental role in an early activation step of BR signaling pathway.Here we report a novel function of SERKs in regulating Arabidopsis root development.Genetic analyses indicated that SERKs control root growth mainly via a BR-independent pathway.Although BR signaling pathway is completely disrupted in the serk1 bak1 bkk1 triple mutant,the root growth of the triple mutant is much severely damaged than the BR deficiency or signaling null mutants.More detailed analyses indicated that the triple mutant exhibited drastically reduced expression of a number of genes critical to polar auxin transport,cell cycle,endodermis development and root meristem differentiation,which were not observed in null BR biosynthesis mutant cpd and null BR signaling mutant bri1-701.Junbo Du Hongju Yin Shasha Zhang Zhuoyun Wei Baolin Zhao Jinghua Zhang Xiaoping Gou Honghui Lin Jia Li 2012Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2012,54,6:22
2Research on colored lyotropic liquid crystals显示文摘Splendidly colored lyotropic liquid crystals formed in the ternary system of a novel cationic surfactant, 3-p-nonylphenoxy-2-hydroxypropyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (NPTAB)-n-butanol-water system, had been ob-served under polarized light microscope. Small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), 2H (deuterium) quadrupolar splitting (2H NMR) were employed to confirm the structures of these liq-uid crystals. The structural transformation of these special lyotropic liquid crystals had been confirmed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The influences of liquid crystal film thickness, temperature and conserving time on the color of liquid crystals have been investigated. 3Broadband radio spectral observations of the solar eclipse on 2008-08-01 and its implications on the quiet Sun atmospheric model显示文摘Based on the joint-observations of the radio broadband spectral emissions of the solar eclipse on August 1, 2008 at Jiuquan (total eclipse) and Huairou (partial eclipse) at the frequencies of 2.00-5.60 GHz (Jiuquan), 2.60-3.80 GHz (Chinese solar broadband radiospectrometer, SBRS/Huairou), and 5.20-7.60 GHz (SBRS/Huairou), the authors assemble a successive series of broadband spectra with a frequency of 2.60-7.60 GHz to observe the solar eclipse synchronously. This is the first attempt to analyze the solar eclipse radio emission under the two telescopes located at different places with broadband frequencies in the periods of total and partial eclipses. 11Maintaining Consistency Based on Timely Updating Records List in Workflow Data显示文摘In order to settle the problem of workflow data consis-tency under the distributed environment, an invalidation strategy based-on timely updating record list is put forward. The strategy adopting the method of updating the records list and the recovery mechanism of updating message proves the classical invalidation strategy. When the request cycle of duplication is too long, the strategy uses the method of updating the records list to pause for sending updating message; when the long cycle duplication is requested again, it uses the recovery mechanism to resume the updating message. This strategy not only ensures the consistency of the workflow data, but also reduces the unnecessary network traffic. From theoretical comparison with those common strategies, the unnecessary network traffic of this strategy is fewer and more stable. 13新型铂(II)类配合物对大肠癌SW620细胞株的体外抑瘤作用及药物作用靶点研究(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of our study was to evaluate the in vitro antitumor activity of two novel platinum-based(II) complexes(2.3-pyridinedicarboxylic acid dehydrate platinum and 2.3-pyrazinedicarboxylic acid dehydrate platinum),which were concurrently provided with hydrophilic carboxyl group and lipophilic pyrazinyl or pyridyl group,on SW620 colorectal cancer cell line and the impact of the two compounds on the cell cycle and apoptosis of the cells when compared with the oxaliplatin,desiring the new ligand combined with hydrophilic and lipophilic properties would facilitate the transportation and transmembrane of the drugs,showing a better antitumor activity.Methods:After SW620 cells were treated with different doses of the three platinum-based agents for 24,48 and 72 h,the cell proliferation inhibition rate was determined using methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT) assay;the morphology of cells were evaluated under inverted microscope;the changes in cell cycle were determined using flow cytometry;the percent apoptosis was measured using Annexin V/PI double staining and the micromorphology of the cells after drug exposure was evaluated using scanning electron microscopy.Results:The evaluation on the proliferation inhibition rate revealed that the three platinum-based agents inhibited the SW620 cells in a time-and dose-dependent manner and showed different strengths as pyridine > pyrazine > Oxa.Under optical microscope,the morphological changes such as cell shrinkage,round cells and dead cells were frequently observed after drug exposure.Cell cycle determination showed that all of the three agents could function to block the cells converting from phase S to phase G2M.Apoptosis evaluation revealed that the three agents promoted the apoptosis of SW620 cells in a time-and dose-dependent manner and showed different strengths as pyridine > pyrazine > Oxa.Typical early and late apoptotic morphological changes could be detected during electron microscopy.Conclusion:The two novel platinum-based(II) complexes showed a stronger antitumor effect on SW620 cells than oxaliplatin,with the targeted site at a certain phase of cell cycle and apoptosis.Rui Li Baolin Liu Hongzhuan Yin Feng Xu Qi Su 2011The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,9:0
