1Somatic Embryogenesis Receptor Kinases Control Root Development Mainly via Brassinosteroid-Independent Actions in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘Brassinosteroids(BRs),a group of plant steroidal hormones,play critical roles in many aspects of plant growth and development.Previous studies showed that BRI1-mediated BR signaling regulates cell division and differentiation during Arabidopsis root development via interplaying with auxin and other phytohormones.Arabidopsis somatic embryogenesis receptor-like kinases(SERKs),as co-receptors of BRI1,were found to play a fundamental role in an early activation step of BR signaling pathway.Here we report a novel function of SERKs in regulating Arabidopsis root development.Genetic analyses indicated that SERKs control root growth mainly via a BR-independent pathway.Although BR signaling pathway is completely disrupted in the serk1 bak1 bkk1 triple mutant,the root growth of the triple mutant is much severely damaged than the BR deficiency or signaling null mutants.More detailed analyses indicated that the triple mutant exhibited drastically reduced expression of a number of genes critical to polar auxin transport,cell cycle,endodermis development and root meristem differentiation,which were not observed in null BR biosynthesis mutant cpd and null BR signaling mutant bri1-701.Junbo Du Hongju Yin Shasha Zhang Zhuoyun Wei Baolin Zhao Jinghua Zhang Xiaoping Gou Honghui Lin Jia Li 2012Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2012,54,6:22

3Community structure of macrobenthos in coastal water off Rushan, southern Shandong Peninsula, and the relationships with environmental factors显示文摘To understand the present actuality of the marine ecosystem in the southern coastal water region of the Shandong Peninsula and the impact of the global change and the human activities to the marine ecosystem of the region, the macrobenthic community structure was researched based on data from 26 sampling stations carried out on four seasonal cruises from December 2006 to November 2007. The data was analyzed using PRIMER 6.0 and SPSS 15.0 software packages. The results showed that 236 macrobenthic species in total were collected from the research region by the field works. Most of the species belong to Polychaeta (76 species), Mollusca (75) and Crustacea (60). Of which, 33 species were common species by the four cruises. The dominant species were different among the four seasons, however, the polychaete species Nephtys oligobranchia and Sternaspis scutata were always dominant in the four seasons. The abundances and biomasses of the macrobenthos from the research region were variable in the four seasons. The results of CLUSTER and MDS analysis showed that the similarities of macrobenthic structures among the stations were low, most of the similarities were at about 40% of similarity values, only that of two stations were up to 60%. In accordance with the similarity values of the macrobenthic structures, the 26 stations were clustered as six groups at arbitrary similarity level of 30%. The ABC curve indicated that the marcofauna communities in the research region had not been disturbed distinctly. 4PD-type iterative learning control for nonlinear time-delay system with external disturbance显示文摘The PD-type iterative learning control design of a class of affine nonlinear time-delay systems with external disturbances is considered. Sufficient conditions guaranteeing the convergence of the n-norm of the tracking error are derived. It is shown that the system outputs can be guaranteed to converge to desired trajectories in the absence of external disturbances and output measurement noises. And in the presence of state disturbances and measurement noises, the tracking error will be bounded uniformly. 5Extraction of scandium from red mud by acid leaching with CaF2 and solvent extraction with P507显示文摘The extraction of Sc by acid leaching with CaF2 and solvent extraction with P507 from red mud was proposed.The influence of acid leaching and solvent extraction on recovery of Sc was investigated.The CaF2 can obviously improve the leaching efficiency of Sc and reduce the acid consumption.The leaching efficiency of Sc increases from 74%to 92%and the dosage of acid reduces under suitable conditions by adding 5%CaF2.The minerals in red mud can easily be decomposed and leached into the acid solution with CaF2 through analysis of XRD pattern.The particles of red mud become smaller and multihole.The Sc can be selectively extracted with 10%P507 at the pH value of 0.1 from the acid leaching solution.More than 98%of Sc and less than 10%of Al and Fe are extracted.The SC2O3 with purity of 99%is obtained after the process of reverse extraction with NaOH,H2SO4 dissolution,precipitation by oxalic acid and roasting at 750℃.Xiaobo Zhu Wang Li Baolin Xing Yude Zhang 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,9:11

8A comparative study of CuO/TiO_2-SnO_2,CuO/TiO_2 and CuO/SnO_2 catalysts for low-temperature CO oxidation显示文摘Nanometer SnO2 particles were synthesized by sol-gel dialytic processes and used as a support to prepare CuO supported catalysts via a deposition-precipitation method. The samples were characterized by means of TG-DTA,XRD,H 2-TPR and XPS. The catalytic activity of the CuO/TiO2-SnO2 catalysts was markedly depended on the loading of CuO,and the optimum CuO loading was 8 wt.%(T 100 = 80 C) . The CuO/TiO2-SnO2 catalysts exhibited much higher catalytic activity than the CuO/TiO 2 and CuO/SnO 2 catalysts. 10Mathematical stencil and its application in finite difference approximation to the Poisson equation显示文摘The concept of mathematical stencil and the strategy of stencil elimination for solving the finite difference equation is presented, and then a new type of the iteration algorithm is established for the Poisson equation. The new algorithm has not only the obvious property of parallelism, but also faster convergence rate than that of the classical Jacobi iteration. 11Complementation of Wild-Type and Drug-Resistant Hepatitis B Virus Genomes to Maintain Viral Replication and Rescue Virion Production under Nucleos(t)ide Analogs显示文摘As the open reading frames of hepatitis B virus(HBV)genomes are overlapping,resistance mutations(MTs)in HBV polymerase may result in stop codon MTs in hepatitis B surface proteins,which are usually detected as a mixed population with wild-type(WT)HBV.The question was raised how the coexistence of nucleos(t)ide analogs(NAs)resistance MTs and WT sequences affects HBV replication.In the present study,HBV genomes with frequently detected reverse transcriptase(RT)/surface truncation MTs,rtA181T/sW172^*,rtV191I/sW182^*and rtM204I/sW196^*,were phenotypically characterized alone or together with their WT counterparts in different ratios by transient transfection in the absence or presence of Nas.In the absence of Nas,RT/surface truncation MTs impaired the expression and secretion of HBV surface proteins,and had a dose-dependent negative effect on WT HBV virion secretion.However,in the presence of Nas,coexistence of MTs with WT maintained viral replication,and the presence of WT was able to rescue the production of MT HBV virions.Our findings reveal that complementation of WT and MT HBV genomes is highly effective under drug treatment.Chunchen Wu Baolin Li Xiaoyong Zhang Kaitao Zhao Yingshan Chen Yifei Yuan Yan Liu Rongjuan Chen Dongping Xu Xinwen Chen Mengji Lu 2019Virologica Sinica2019,34,4:4
12Conductive Biomaterials as Bioactive Wound Dressing for Wound Healing and Skin Tissue Engineering显示文摘Conductive biomaterials based on conductive polymers,carbon nanomaterials,or conductive inorganic nanomaterials demonstrate great potential in wound healing and skin tissue engineering,owing to the similar conductivity to human skin,good antioxidant and antibacterial activities,electrically controlled drug delivery,and photothermal effect.However,a review highlights the design and application of conductive biomaterials for wound healing and skin tissue engineering is lacking.In this review,the design and fabrication methods of conductive biomaterials with various structural forms including film,nanofiber,membrane,hydrogel,sponge,foam,and acellular dermal matrix for applications in wound healing and skin tissue engineering and the corresponding mechanism in promoting the healing process were summarized.The approaches that conductive biomaterials realize their great value in healing wounds via three main strategies(electrotherapy,wound dressing,and wound assessment)were reviewed.The application of conductive biomaterials as wound dressing when facing different wounds including acute wound and chronic wound(infected wound and diabetic wound)and for wound monitoring is discussed in detail.The challenges and perspectives in designing and developing multifunctional conductive biomaterials are proposed as well.Rui Yu Hualei Zhang Baolin Guo 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,1:4

14Inhibiting effect of tungstic compounds on glucose hydrogenation over Ru/C catalyst显示文摘The effect of acid component including various conventional acids and tungstic compounds on glucose hydrogenation over a series of binary catalyst system containing Ru/C catalyst was investigated. The results showed that HCl, H2SO4, H3BO3, H3PO4, and HNO3 had negligible effect, while all the tungstic compounds imposed inhibiting effects on the hydrogenation of glucose over Ru/C catalyst, and the suppressing effect followed the order of H2WO4>HPW>WO3>AMT>HSi W. 15Emerging hemostatic materials for non-compressible hemorrhage control显示文摘Non-compressible hemorrhage control is a big challenge in both civilian life and the battlefield,causing a majority of deaths among all traumatic injury mortalities.Unexpected non-compressible bleeding not only happens in pre-hospital situations but also leads to a high risk of death during surgical processes throughout in-hospital treatment.Hemostatic materials for pre-hospital treatment or surgical procedures for non-compressible hemorrhage control have drawn more and more attention in recent years and several commercialized products have been developed.However,these products have all shown non-negligible limitations and researchers are focusing on developing more effective hemostatic materials for non-compressible hemorrhage control.Different hemostatic strategies(physical,chemical and biological)have been proposed and different forms(sponges/foams,sealants/adhesives,microparticles/powders and platelet mimics)of hemostatic materials have been developed based on these strategies.A summary of the requirements,state-of-the-art studies and commercial products of non-compressible hemorrhage-control materials is provided in this review with particular attention on the advantages and limitations of their emerging forms,to give a clear understanding of the progress that has been made in this area and the promising directions for future generations.Ruonan Dong Hualei Zhang Baolin Guo 2022National Science Review2022,9,11:3
16Antibacterial biomaterials for skin wound dressing显示文摘Bacterial infection and the ever-increasing bacterial resistance have imposed severe threat to human health.And bacterial contamination could significantly menace the wound healing process.Considering the sophisticated wound healing process,novel strategies for skin tissue engineering are focused on the integration of bioactive ingredients,antibacterial agents included,into biomaterials with different morphologies to improve cell behaviors and promote wound healing.However,a comprehensive review on antibacterial wound dressing to enhance wound healing has not been reported.In this review,various antibacterial biomaterials as wound dressings will be discussed.Different kinds of antibacterial agents,including antibiotics,nanoparticles(metal and metallic oxides,lightinduced antibacterial agents),cationic organic agents,and others,and their recent advances are summarized.Biomaterial selection and fabrication of biomaterials with different structures and forms,including films,hydrogel,electrospun nanofibers,sponge,foam and three-dimension(3D)printed scaffold for skin regeneration,are elaborated discussed.Current challenges and the future perspectives are presented in thismultidisciplinary field.We envision that this review will provide a general insight to the elegant design and further refinement of wound dressing.Yuqing Liang Yongping Liang Hualei Zhang Baolin Guo 2022Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2022,17,3:3
17Effect of Chinese tuina massage therapy on resting state brain functional network of patients with chronic neck pain显示文摘Objective:Cervical disease,a type of chronic pain,can greatly impact quality of life.Traditional Chinese tuina,a form of therapeutic massage and manipulation,has been shown to be effective in relieving pain and other symptoms in patients with chronic neck pain.This study applied functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to explore the features of the resting state network of patients with chronic neck pain caused by cervical radiculopathy,and how tuina affects the causality between intrinsic brain networks.Methods:Using Granger causality analysis,effective connectivity of brain networks of 10 patients with chronic neck pain was compared with 10 healthy control subjects.Resting state fMRI data were using magnetic resonance scanning.Cervical spondylosis symptom scores were evaluated before and after 4 weeks of tuina therapy.Independent component analysis was applied to extract the specific networks related to sensation,execution,and cognition,including sensorimotor network (SMN),visual network (VN),auditory network (AN),anterior and posterior default mode network (aDMN,pDMN),left frontoparietal network and right frontoparietal network.Results:Compared with the control group,data from the treatment group revealed two major findings:before tuina therapy,SMN had a profound influence on aDMN and AN greatly affected pDMN;however,after 4 weeks of tuina therapy,aDMN and SMN showed reversed causality.Conclusion:Chronic neck pain caused by cervical radiculopathy may influence the DMN,which plays an important role in emotion,cognition,and memory,by stimulating the sensory afferent network.Tuina not only significantly relieves pain and discomfort,but also reverses the causality between aDMN and SMN.Hua Zhang Hong Chen Hao Wang Duoduo Li Baolin Jia Zhongjian Tan Bin Zheng Zhiwen Weng 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2015,2,1:3

19A CFD model for predicting the heat transfer in the industrial scale packed bed显示文摘Compared to the traditional lumped-parameter model, computational fluid dynamics(CFD) attracted more attentions due to facilitating more accurate reactor design and optimization methods when analyzing the heat transfer in the industrial packed bed. Here, a model was developed based on the CFD theory, in which the heterogeneous fluid flow was resolved by considering the oscillatory behavior of voidage and the effective fluid viscosity. The energy transports in packed bed were calculated by the convection and diffusion incorporated with gaseous dispersion in fluid and the contacting thermal conductivity of packed particles in solids. The heat transfer coefficient between fluid and wall was evaluated by considering the turbulence due to the packed particles adjacent to the wall. Thus, the heat transfer in packed bed can be predicted without using any adjustable semi-empirical effective thermal conductivity coefficient.
