2Three-dimensional Cure Simulation of Stiffened Thermosetting Composite Panels显示文摘Stiffened thermosetting composite panels were fabricated with co-curing processing.In the co-curing processing,the temperature distribution in the composite panels was nonuniform.An investigation into the threedimensional cure simulation of T-shape stiffened thermosetting composite panels was presented.Flexible tools and locating tools were considered in the cure simulation.Temperature distribution in the composites was predicted as a function of the autoclave temperature history.A nonlinear transient heat transfer finite element model was developed to simulate the curing process of stiffened thermosetting composite panels.And a simulation example was presented to demonstrate the use of the present finite element procedure for analyzing composite curing process.The glass/polyester structure was investigated to provide insight into the nonuniform cure process and the effect of flexible tools and locating tools on temperature distribution.Temperature gradient in the intersection between the skin and the flange was shown to be strongly dependent on the structure of the flexible tools and the thickness of the skin.Guangquan Yue,Boming Zhang ,Fuhong Dai and Shanyi Du Center for Composite Materials,Harbin Institute of Technology,Harbin 150080,China 2010Journal of Materials Science & Technology2010,26,5:13

4Rule Extraction in Transient Stability Study Using Linear Decision Trees显示文摘为了提高精细规则的性能,提出一种基于支持样本的线性决策树的规则提取方法。该方法筛选临近稳定边界的支持样本,作为决策树的输入样本,精简了样本数目;提出基于线性分类器的决策树方法,以得到基于组合属性的安全稳定运行规则。在单机无穷大系统和IEEE 39节点系统中的对比研究表明:由于考虑了支持样本的特殊性,用线性组合规则代替单属性规则,减少了计算时间,提高了泛化能力,丰富了规则的物理含义,得到的灵敏度信息可用于辅助决策,在安全稳定精细规则提取中具有应用潜力。SUN Hongbin WANG Kang ZHANG Boming ZHAO Feng 2011中国电机工程学报2011,31,34:11

7Damping and Mechanical Properties of Cocured Composite Laminates with Embedded Perforate Viscoelastic Layer显示文摘The composite laminates with embedded acrylonitrile butadiene rubber(NBR) layer were fabricated by cocuring process.The embedded layers were perforated with a series of small holes to allow resin to flow through the damping layer and completely couple the structure to improve bending stiffness and interlaminar shearing strength of these cocured composite laminates.The damping,bending stiffness and shearing strength of these composite laminates with different perforation diameters were investigated.The experimental results show that increasing the perforation diameter leads to significant decreases in damping and significant increase in bending stiffness up to an area ratio of 7.065%.The area ratio here is defined as the ratio of perforation area to the total damping area.Beyond the area ratio of 7.065%,increasing the diameter to an area ratio of 50.24% results in only a slight variation in damping and bending stiffness.Moreover,increasing the perforation diameter does not always increase the shearing strength of the embedded viscoelastic layer.The shearing strength of embedded viscoelastic layer increases only when the area ratio is greater than 19.625%;instead,it will decrease.Lijian Pan Boming Zhang 2009Journal of Materials Science & Technology2009,25,4:5
8MOF-derived ZnCo_2O_4/C wrapped on carbon fiber as anode materials for structural lithium-ion batteries显示文摘To meet the requirements for the mechanical and electrochemical performance for carbon fiber-based (CF-based) composites in the structural lithium ion batteries (SLIBs) application, better CF-Based composites are urgently needed. Herein, we report a novel composite metal organic framework (MOF)-derived ZnCo_2 O_4/C@carbon fiber via a facile method and subsequent annealing treatment. In this anode,the nano ZnCo_2 O_4/C coatings wrapped on the surface of CF provide more active sites for electrode reactions and the thin carbon layers give the additional protection. For this material, after 100 cycles, it exhibits excellent cycling stability including high reversible capacity of 463 mAh/g at 50 mA/g, which increases 201% than that of the CF. 9In situ polymerization coating and characteristics of coated NPK compound fertilizer显示文摘Controlled release NPK compound fertilizers were prepared by means of in situ polymerization of monomers on the surface of fertilizer granules at room temperature.Methacrylate,α-methyl acrylic acid,and ethylene dimethylacrylate were used as monomers,Dibenzoyl peroxide as initiator,and cobalt naphthenate,and triethyl amine as promoters.The structures of coating materials were characterized by IR spectra.The thermogravimetric analysis result indicated that the coating materials were of good thermal stability.The mean thickness of single coating measured with screw gauge was ca.140μm.The morphologies of uncoated and coated fertilizer granules analyzed by using scanning electron microscopy were changed from porosities and gullies to hills and plain. 10A New Method to Track Resin Flow Fronts in Mold Filling Simulation of RTM Process显示文摘A new method to track resin flow fronts, referred to as the topological interpolated method (TIM), which is based on filling states and topological relations of adjacent nodes was proposed. An experiment on the mould filling process was conducted. It was compared with exact solutions and the experimental results, and good agreements were observed. 11Simulation and Verification of Machining Deformation for Composite Materials显示文摘Prepreg properties including cure kinetics, cure shrinkage, and coefficient of thermal expansion were analyzed. A simulation method based on 'element birth and death' method of Finite element analysis(FEA) was presented to simulate the cutting process and predict the machining deformation for composite laminates and stiffened panels. The comparisons between the simulation results and experimental data showed good agreement. It is found that residual stresses are the main source of machining deformation for composites and machining deformation is expected to happen only if there are stress gradients along the machining direction. There is no machining deformation for composite laminates due to its uniform stresses distribution in plane, while machining deformation can be observed obviously for T-shape stiffened composite panels. 13Experimental study on a transpiration cooling thermal protection system显示文摘Transpiration cooling thermal protection systems (TPS) are investigated for potential applications in hypersonic and re-entry vehicles,which are subjected to the severe aerodynamic heating environment. In this paper a transpiration cooling thermal protection system was designed and manufactured,and an experiment platform with radiant heating at the bottom as heat source was developed. The cooling capacity of the transpiration cooling TPS was experimentally investigated. By combining transpiration cooling method with traditional TPS,the heat load capability of the TPS can be improved. The structure temperature with active cooling applied was much lower than that without active cooling applied under the same heat load as well as the heat load increased with active cooling than the one without active cooling for the same structure temperature. The experimental results showed that at 5800 s,the temperature of inner structure was 100°C with active cooling applied compared to 500°C without active cooling applied,then the temperature increased and reached to 360°C at 8300 s. Heat load of this transpiration cooling TPS can be increased by over 70% as compared to the passion one and the cooling capability of the transpiration TPS was about 1700 kJ/kg. 16Multi-objective Optimization of Co-cured Composite Laminates with Embedded Viscoelastic Damping Layer显示文摘Presented herein is a methodology for the multi-objective optimization of damping and bending sti-ness of co-coured composite laminates with embedded viscoelastic damping layer.The embedded viscoelastic damping layer is perforated with a series of small holes,and the ratio of the perforation area to the total damping area is the design variable of the methodology.The multi-objective optimization is converted into a single-objective problem by an evaluation function which is a liner weigh sum of the two sub-objective functions.The proposed methodology was carried out to determine the optimal perforation area ratios of two viscoelstic layers with different perforation distance embedded in two composite plates.Both the optimal perforation area ratios are approximate to 2.2%.However,the objective value of the plate with greater perforation distance in embedded viscoelatic layer is much greater.Lijian Pan Boming Zhang Fuhong Dai 2009Journal of Materials Science & Technology2009,25,5:2
17A two-level hierarchical discrete-device control method for power networks with integrated wind farms显示文摘Power systems depend on discrete devices, such as shunt capacitors/reactors and on-load tap changers, for their long-term reliability.In transmission systems that contain large wind farms, we must take into account the uncertainties in wind power generation when deciding when to operate these devices.In this paper, we describe a method to schedule the operation of these devices over the course of the following day.These schedules are designed to minimize wind-power generation curtailment, bus voltage violations, and dynamic reactive-power deviations,even under the worst possible conditions.Daily voltagecontrol decisions are initiated every 15 min using a dynamic optimization algorithm that predicts the state of the system over the next 4-hour period.For this, forecasts updated in real-time are employed, because they are more precise than forecasts for the day ahead.Day-ahead schedules are calculated using a two-stage robust mixedinteger optimization algorithm.The proposed control strategies were tested on a Chinese power network with wind power sources; the control performance was also validated numerically.Fengda XU Qinglai GUO Hongbin SUN Boming ZHANG Lin JIA 2019Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2019,7,1:2
18Stress transfer around a broken fiber in unidirectional fiber-reinforced composites considering matrix damage evolution and interface slipping显示文摘A shear-lag model is applied to study the stress transfer around a broken fiber within unidirectional fiber-reinforced composites(FRC) subjected to uniaxial tensile loading along the fiber direction.The matrix damage and interfacial debonding,which are the main failure modes,are considered in the model.The maximum stress criterion with the linear damage evolution theory is used for the matrix.The slipping friction stress is considered in the interfacial debonding region using Coulomb friction theory,in which interfacial clamping stress comes from radial residual stress and mismatch of Poisson's ratios of constituents(fiber and matrix).The stress distributions in the fiber and matrix are obtained by the shear-lag theory added with boundary conditions,which includes force continuity and displacement compatibility constraints in the broken and neighboring intact fibers.The result gives axial stress distribution in fibers and shear stress in the interface and compares the theory reasonably well with the measurement by a polarized light microscope.The relation curves between damage,debonding and ineffective region lengths with external strain loading are obtained.YANG Zhong ZHANG BoMing ZHAO Lin SUN XinYang 2011Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,2:2
