| 1 | Clustering by Fast Search and Find of Density Peaks with Data Field显示文摘A clustering algorithm named 'Clustering by fast search and find of density peaks' is for finding the centers of clusters quickly. Its accuracy excessively depended on the threshold, and no efficient way was given to select its suitable value, i.e., the value was suggested be estimated on the basis of empirical experience. A new way is proposed to automatically extract the optimal value of threshold by using the potential entropy of data field from the original dataset. For any dataset to be clustered, the threshold can be calculated from the dataset objectively instead of empirical estimation. | 2 | Sliding mode control of chaos in the noise-perturbed permanent magnet synchronous motor with non-smooth air-gap显示文摘Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is widely used in mining, and there exists chaotic behav- ior when it runs. In order to dispel its adverse effect on security in mining, the chaotic system of PMSM was analyzed. With noise disturbances, the complex dynamic characteristics of chaos were also analyzed, and proved the objective existence of chaos. As we all know, it is very difficult for conventional PMSM control to meet the design requirements, therefore, in order to ensure the robustness of the system, the chaotic orbits were stabilized to arbitrary chosen fixed points and periodic orbits by means of sliding mode method. Finally MATLAB simulations were presented to confirm the validity of the controller. | 4 | Structural Deleveraging: Evidence from China显示文摘Using province-level data in China for the period of 1999-2015,we examine the mechanisms through which sectoral differences in leverage ratio and productivity affect macro leverage ratios.The state-owned sector undertakes a large number of public services and plays an irreplaceable role in solving market failures and providing public goods.However,in the case of information asymmetry and incentive incompatibility,these policy burdens affect the leverage optimization and productivity improvement of the state-owned sector.From the perspective of sectoral differences,we therefore decompose the change in macro leverage ratio into leverage ratio structure effect and productivity structure effect,and then substantiate the impact mechanisms of these two effects on macro leverage ratios.Overall,our conclusions provide theoretical support and empirical evidence for structural deleveraging in China. | Caoyuan Ma Pin Guo Zhao Zhang | 2022 | China & World Economy2022,30,6: | 1 |

| 6 | Seed Selection for Data Offloading Based on Social and Interest Graphs显示文摘The explosive growth of mobile data demand is becoming an increasing burden on current cellular network.To address this issue,we propose a solution of opportunistic data offloading for alleviating overloaded cellular traffic.The principle behind it is to select a few important users as seeds for data sharing.The three critical steps are detailed as follows.We first explore individual interests of users by the construction of user profiles,on which an interest graph is built by Gaussian graphical modeling.We then apply the extreme value theory to threshold the encounter duration of user pairs.So,a contact graph is generated to indicate the social relationships of users.Moreover,a contact-interest graph is developed on the basis of the social ties and individual interests of users.Corresponding on different graphs,three strategies are finally proposed for seed selection in an aim to maximize overloaded cellular data.We evaluate the performance of our algorithms by the trace data of real-word mobility.It demonstrates the effectiveness of the strategy of taking social relationships and individual interests into account. | Ying Li Jianbo Li Jianwei Chen Minchao Lu Caoyuan Li | 2018 | Computers, Materials & Continua2018,,12: | 1 |

| 9 | The path,value and limits of the Confucius Institute in carrying out public diplomacy显示文摘On the basis of Chinese language teaching and cultural communication activities,the Confucius Institute carries out a variety of cultural exchange activities between China and the host country,which has become an effective way for China to carry out public diplomacy and participate in global cultural governance.By analysing the concepts of public diplomacy,cultural diplomacy,people-to-people exchange and cultural governance,this paper summarises three typical paths of Confucius Institutes in carrying out public diplomacy:‘from the government to foreign nationals’,‘from the government to Chinese citizens and then to foreign nationals’,and‘from the government to foreign nationals and then to foreign nationals’.The value of the Confucius Institute in carrying out public diplomacy is reflected on the level of national diplomacy,international exchange and global governance.Furthermore,the capability of the Confucius Institute as a language and cultural communication institution initiated by China and in cooperation with other countries in carrying out public diplomacy is limited.This limitation,on one hand,originates from the nature of the Confucius Institute as a language and cultural communication organisation,and on the other hand,is related to the difficulties and challenges that China faces in its participation in global governance.Public diplomacy and cultural diplomacy are based on national interests.They also transcend national interests and,furthermore,become a way for a country to actively participate in global cultural governance.The experience of and challenges faced by the Confucius Institute can have important implications for China in participating in global cultural governance. | Yanwei Wang Chinenye Gerlof Uzodinma Caoyuan Niu | 2021 | Economic and Political Studies2021,9,2: | 0 |
| 10 | An acid-base responsive linear-cyclic polymer rotaxane molecular shuttle with fluorescence signal output显示文摘The preparation of intelligent-responsive materials with controllable topology structure has long been a significant objective for chemists in the field of materials science. In this paper, we designed and prepared a linear-cyclic reversible topological structure polymer based on the bistable [1]rotaxane molecular shuttle. A ferrocene-functionalized [1]rotaxane and naphthalimide fluorophore group are introduced into the both ends of the polymer, which exhibit distance-induced photo-electron transfer effect. The structural transformation between linear and cyclic state of polymer is demonstrated by simple acid-base stimuli, accompanying visual fluorescence changes. The transformation process was characterized by 1H NMR spectra and fluorescence spectra.
