1Heavy Metal Runoff in Relation to Soil Characteristics显示文摘Cu, Zn, Pb and Hg runoff from yellow limestone soil and purple soils and the relationships between the mobility of the heavy metals and the soil characteristics were studied in laboratory using a rainfall simulator. The results showed that the concentrations of soluble Zn in surface runoff were significantly negatively correlated with the contents of <0.002 mm particles and CEC of the soils, indicating that Zn was mostly adsorbed by clays in the soils. The contents of Cu and Hg in surface runoff were positively related to their contents in the soils. 3Influence of foraminifera on formation and occurrence characteristics of natural gas hydrates in fine-grained sediments from Shenhu area, South China Sea显示文摘Marine gas hydrates accumulate primarily in coarse-grained, high-permeability layers; however, highly saturated natural gas hydrates have been discovered in the fine-grained sediments of Shenhu area, South China Sea(SCS). This may be explained by key factors, such as the great abundance of foraminifera shells. In this paper, by analyzing the SCS foraminifera structure and performing hydrate formation experiments in the foraminifera shells, the contribution of foraminifera to hydrate accumulation in the SCS was investigated from a microscopic point of view. Simulations of hydrate formation were carried out in both pure SCS foraminifera shells and the host sediments. Pore structures in typical foraminifera were studied by use of micro-focus X-ray computed tomography(CT) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Hydrate growth and occurrence characteristics in the foraminifera shells were observed in-situ. The results showed that the presence of foraminifera significantly enhanced the effective porosity of the SCS sediments. Moreover, while the hydrates grew preferentially in the chambers of the coarse-grained foraminifera by adhering to the inner walls of the foraminifera shells, no apparent hydrate accumulation was observed in the fine-grained or argillaceous matrix. 4Digital image processing of sectorial oscillations for acoustically levitated drops and surface tension measurement显示文摘A type of non-axisymmetric oscillations of acoustically levitated drops is excited by modulating the ultrasound field at proper frequencies. These oscillations are recorded by a high speed camera and analyzed with a digital image processing method. They are demonstrated to be the third mode sectorial oscillations, and their frequencies are found to decrease with the increase of equatorial radius of the drops, which can be described by a modified Rayleigh equation. These oscillations decay exponentially after the cessation of ultrasound field modulation. The decaying rates agree reasonably with Lamb’s prediction. The rotating rate of the drops accompanying the shape oscillations is found to be less than 1.5 rounds per second. The surface tension of aqueous ethanol has been measured according to the modified Rayleigh equation. 5Periodical oscillating interface in directional growth under shear flow显示文摘Liquid-solid interface morphological evolution of SCN-2wt%H2O alloy was investigated in the presence of shear flow. It has been found that shear flow strikingly enhances the stability of planar interface at lower pulling rates. In the intermediate range of pulling rate, the interface experiences periodical oscillating 'planar-cellular' and 'cellular-dendritic' growth patterns. The formation of oscillating growth modes can be explained by two reasons: (i) The stabilizing effect induced by shear flow competes with the growing destabilizing effect by the increase of pulling rate, which provides the driving force for morphological evolution; and (ii) the establishment of stable solute field at the liquid-solid interface needs a period of time, leading to the result that the interface evolution can not stay stable at the equilibrium state. 8A novel approach to the attitude stabilization structure for ducted-fan operative aerial robots:Finding improvements for modeling error and strong external transient disturbance显示文摘This research concerns a novel attitude stabilization structure for a ducted-fan aerial robot to work against modeling error and strong external transient disturbance,and it focuses on two main control targets:modeling error compensation,and the improvement of disturbance resistance along the rolling channel.For the first research objective,we proposed an adaptive nominal controller with the reconfigurable control law design based on the estimation of the modeling error found in the closed-loop.Results of simulations and corresponding flight tests verified that the proposed adaptive control structure is robust against both constant and time-varying modeling error.For the other research objective,a SAC(Stability Augmentation Control)structure was devised based on the CMG(Control Moment Gyroscope)theory in order to provide extra moment which effectively withstands the transient disturbance beyond the CDG(Critical Disturbance Gain).Furthermore,we studied the corresponding controller for the SAC via the SMC(sliding mode control)theory,while the working mechanism and performance of the SAC were verified through a specially devised prototype.Wei FAN Bin XU Changle XIANG Yibo ZHANG Haiyang YANG 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,2:1
9Lattice-reduction-aided MMSE precoding for correlated MIMO channels and performance analysis显示文摘The lattice-reduction (LR) has been developed to improve the performance of the zero-forcing (ZF) precoder in multiple input multiple output (MIMO) systems. Under the assumptions of uncorrelated flat fading channel model and perfect channel state information at the transmitter (CSIT), an LR-aided ZF precoder is able to collect the full transmit diversity. With the complex LenstraLenstra-Lova′sz (LLL) algorithm and limited feedforward structure, an LR-aided linear minimum-mean-square-error (LMMSE) precoder for spatial correlated MIMO channels and imperfect CSIT is proposed to achieve lower bit error rate (BER). Assuming a time division duplexing (TDD) MIMO system, correlated block flat fading channel and LMMSE uplink channel estimator, it is proved that the proposed LR-aided LMMSE precoder can also obtain the full transmit diversity through an analytical approach. 16Long-term exercise training inhibits inflammation by suppressing hippocampal NLRP3 in APP/PS1 mice显示文摘Behavioral experiments have demonstrated that long-term physical exercise can be beneficial for learning and memory dysfunction caused by neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's disease(AD).However,the molecular mechanism remains poorly understood due to a lack of sufficient pertinent biochemical evidence.We investigated the potential effect of long-term physical exercise on cognition and hippocampal gene and protein expression changes in a transgenic AD mouse model.Following twenty weeks of treadmill exercise,transgenic AD mice showed improvement in cognitive functions and downregulation of Nod-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)(p<0.01),interleukin-1beta(IL-1β)(p<0.05),and amyloid-β1-42(Aβ1-42)(p<0.05)expression levels.In addition,we observed significant reductions of microglial activation and hippocampal neuronal damage in the exercised AD mice(p<0.01),which might be a result of the downregulation of NLRP3-mediated signaling and neuroinflammatory responses.As neuronal damage due to inflammation might be a likely cause of AD-associated cognitive dysfunction.Our results suggested that the anti-inflammatory effects of exercise training involved downregulating the expression of key inflammatory factors and might play an important role in protecting hippocampal neurons against damage during the course of AD.Xue Li Yu Jin Xianyi Ding Tongyang Zhu Changling Wei Li Yao 2023Sports Medicine and Health Science2023,5,4:0

18Joint Transceiver Design for OFDM Systems显示文摘Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) is an effective technique to deal with a frequency selective channel since it can convert the channel into some flat fading subchannels.However,very different output SNR values of the subchannels will lead to poor bit error performance when a linear equalizer and Equal Bit Allocation(EBA) are adopted in OFDM systems.So,we proposed three novel nonlinear Joint Transceiver(JT) schemes based on Zero-Forcing(ZF) criterion and Minimum Mean Square Error(MMSE) criterion respectively,which can transform all subchannels of an OFDM system into subchannels with identical channel gain.Thus,EBA is equivalent to the Optimum Bit Allocation(OBA) for these subchannels.Numerical analysis helps us to obtain the theoretical approximate BER values of the JT scheme.Simulation results verify the numerical analysis and confirm that the performance of our proposed JT scheme greatly outperforms the traditional linear equalizer with EBA at moderate and high SNR values.Chen Rui Li Jiandong Li Changle Liu Wei 2012China Communications2012,9,2:0
