Effects of ammonium exchange and Si/Al ratio on the conversion of methanol to propylene over a novel and large partical size ZSM-5显示文摘One type of ZSM-5 zeolite with large partical size was prepared and characterized by XRD, SEM, N2 adsorption-desorption, XRF, Py-IR and NH3-TPD techniques. Effects of ammonium exchange and SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratios on the reaction of methanol to propylene (MTP) over Na-ZSM-5 and H-ZSM-5 zeolites have been studied in a fixed-bed flow reactor under the operating conditions of T = 500 °C, P = 1 atm, and WHSV = 6 h-1. Ammonium exchange led to a rapid decrease in Na content for Na-ZSM-5 zeolite. The reaction results indicated that Na-ZSM-5 and H-ZSM-5 with different SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratios all exhibited high activity for methanol conversion. Ammonium exchange and the decreased SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio of ZSM-5 zeolite led to an increase both in strong acid sites and weak acid sites. Na-ZSM-5 with high SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio was favorable for the formation of propylene. The highest propylene selectivity (45.9%) was obtained over Na-ZSM-5 zeolite catalyst with SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio of 220. | Ruchao Wei Chunyi Li Chaohe Yang Honghong Shan | 2011 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2011,20,3: | 12
Hierarchical ZSM-11 with intergrowth structures:Synthesis, characterization and catalytic properties显示文摘Hierarchical ZSM-11 microspheres with intercrystalline mesoporous properties and rod-like crystals intergrowth morphology have been synthesized using a spot of tetrabutylammonium as a single template.XRD,FTIR,SEM,TEM and N2 adsorption analysis revealed that each individual particle was composed of nanosized rod crystals inserting each other and the intercrystalline voids existing among rods gave a significant mesopore size distribution.Steam treatment result demonstrated the excellent hydrothermal stability of samples.Various crystallization modes including constant temperature crystallization (one-stage crystallization) and two-stage temperature-varying crystallization with different 1st stage durations were investigated. The results suggested that the crystallization modes were mainly responsible for the adjustable particle size and textural properties of samples while the small amount of tetrabutylammonium bromide was mainly used to direct the formation of both ZSM-11 framework and its intergrowth morphology.Furthermore, the performance of optimal ZSM-11 as an active component for the catalytic pyrolysis of heavy oil was also investigated.Compared with the commercial pyrolysis catalyst, the hierarchical ZSM-11 catalyst exhibited a high selectivity to desired products(LPG+gasoline+diesel),as well as a much lower dry gas and coke yield, plus a high selectivity and yield of light olefins(C=3 C=4)and very poor selectivity to benzene. Therefore, fully open micropore-mesopore connectivity would make such hierarchically porous ZSM-11 zeolites very attractive for applications in clean petrochemical catalysis field. | Qingjun Yu Chaoyue Cui Qiang Zhang Jing Chen Yang Li Jinpeng Sun Chunyi Li Qiukai Cui Chaohe Yang Honghong Shan | 2013 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2013,22,5: | 10
Effects of Temperature and Catalyst to Oil Weight Ratio on the Catalytic Conversion of Heavy Oil to Propylene Using ZSM-5 and USY Catalysts显示文摘实际操作在 FCC 由重油的催化变换学习丙烯的生产的规则是有用的(液体催化裂开) 。 ZSM-5; | Xiaohong Li Chunyi Li Jianfang Zhang Chaohe Yang Honghong Shan | 2007 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2007,16,1: | 10
A high-surface-area silicoaluminophosphate material rich in Brnsted acid sites as a matrix in catalytic cracking显示文摘A transparent gel-like mesoporous silicoaluminophosphate material (SAP) with a Si/Al molar ratio of 20 was synthesized by hydrothermal method. The physicochemical features of SAP were characterized by XRD, XRF, BET, SEM and FT-IR spectroscopy of pyridine adsorption techniques. The results indicated that incorporation of phosphorus (P) into aluminasilica system altered the basic textural characteristics of aluminasilica. Especially after hydrothermal treatment, the material with large special surface area (up to 492 m 2 /g) exhibited a good performance on hydrothermal stability. Moreover, the phosphorus modifier can not only increase the amount of Bro¨nsted acidic sites (up to 48.44 μmol/g) and the percentage of weak acidic sites in total acidic sites, but also regulate the acid type, such as the ratio of B/L (Bro¨nsted acid/Lewis acid) increases to 1.15. The performances of samples as matrices for the catalytic cracking of heavy vacuum gas oil (VGO) were investigated. At 520 C, the catalysts showed much higher gasoline and diesel oil yields achieving to 45.59 wt% and 19.20 wt%, respectively, and lower coke selectivity (2.86%) than conventional FCC matrices, such as kaolin and amorphous silica-alumina. | Shaoiun Xu Qiang Zhang Zhaoxuan Feng Xiaojing Meng Tongyu Zhao Chunyi Li Chaohe Yang Honghong Shan | 2012 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,6: | 8

Anti-liver cancer activity of TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand gene and its bystander effects显示文摘AIM:To observe the anti-liver cancer activity of tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) gene and its bystander effects on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell line SMMC7721.METHODS:Full-length cDNA of human TRAIL was transferred into SMMC7721 cells with a binary adenoviral vector system.Polymerase-chain reaction following reverse transcription (RT-PCR) was used to determine the expression of TRAIL gene. Effects of the transfected gene on proliferation of SMMC7721 cells were measured by MTT assay. Its influence on apoptosis was demonstrated by fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS). The bystander effect was observed by co-culturing the SMMC7721 cells with and without the transfected TRAIL gene at different ratios, and the culture medium supernatant from the transfected cells was also examined for its influence on SMMC7721 cells.RESULTS:The growth-inhibition rate and apoptotic cell fraction in the cells transfected with the TRAIL gene, Bax gene or only LacZ gene were 91.2%, 48.0%, 28.8% and 29.1%, 12.5%, 6.6%, respectively. The growth-inhibition rate of transfection with these three sequences in normal human fibroblasts was 6.1%, 45.5% and 7.6%, respectively, indicating a discriminative inhibition of TRAIL transfection on the cancer cells. In the co-culturing test, addition of the transfected TRAIL to SMMC7721 cells in proportions of 5%,25%, 50%, 75% and 100%, resulted in a growth-inhibition of 15.9%, 67%, 80.2%, 86.4% and 87.7%, respectively. We failed to observe a significant growth-inhibition effect of the culture medium supernatant on SMMC7721 cells.CONCLUSION: TRAIL gene transferred by a binary adenoviral vector system can inhibit proliferation of SMMC7721 cellsand induce their apoptosis. A bystander effect was observed, which seemed not to be mediated by soluble factors. | ChaoHe Wei-FengLao Xiao-TongHu Xiang-MingXu JingXu Bing-LiangFang | 2004 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2004,10,5: | 6
Synergistic effect of W and P on ZSM-5 and its catalytic performance in the cracking of heavy oil显示文摘In order to develop the conversion of heavy oil with a high yield of propylene in the catalytic cracking process, ZSM-5 zeolite was modified by tungsten and phosphorus, which was proved to be an effective method. Characterization results show that the improvement of catalytic performance could be correlated to the interaction of phosphorus and tungsten species on ZSM-5. P inhibited the aggregation of tungsten species on ZSM-5 and was conductive to convert the tungsten species with octahedral coordination into tetrahedral coordination. And this ultimately led to that more acid sites were reserved after hydrothermal treatment in the tungsten and phosphorus co-modified ZSM-5 catalyst.Phosphorus species played an important role to restrain the dehydrogenation activity of tungsten. In addition, a model reflecting the interaction between tungsten species and ZSM-5 framework was proposed. | Dongmin Han Nannan Sun Jianwei Liu Chunyi Li Honghong Shan Chaohe Yang | 2014 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2014,23,4: | 5
Effect of acid density of HZSM-5 on the oligomerization of ethylene in FCC dry gas显示文摘The oligomerization of ethylene in FCC dry gas over HZSM-5 catalyst with different Si/Al2 ratios was studied. The effect of acid density of catalyst on the oligomerization of ethylene was discussed. By increasing the acid density of catalyst, ethylene conversion showed a linear increase, while the yields of olefins decreased when the acid density of catalyst exceeded 0.14 mmolNH3/g owing to a promotion of hydrogen transfer reaction. Through comparing the average distance between acid sites on catalyst with kinetic diameters of olefins, it was found that the dimerization of ethylene was not restrained by the sparse distribution of acid sites, while the hydrogen transfer reaction of C3 and C4 olefins was limited. On these bases, a conclusion is proposed that the dimerization of ethylene proceeded via Eley-Rideal mechanism, while the hydrogen transfer reaction of C3 and C4 olefins followed the Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism. | Xue Ding Shan Geng Chunyi Li Chaohe Yang Guohui Wang | 2009 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2009,18,2: | 5
Synthesis, Characterization and Evaluation of Sulfur Transfer Catalysts for FCC Flue Gas显示文摘In this work, Zr-M(M=Cu, Mn, Ce) type sulfur transfer agent was prepared by impregnation method. Under the condition similar to that in the regenerator of FCC units, the influence of different active metal components and their contents on sulfur transfer agent were investigated. Moreover, the crystalline structure of sulfur transfer agent was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR). The result showed that the Zr-Mn sulfur transfer agent could effectively reduce the SO2 content in FCC regenerator flue gas, featuring high SO2 adsorption capacity. The sulfur transfer agent was inactivated in 40—60 min during the test. In the course of reduction reaction, after several reaction cycles, the formation of SO2 ceased and only H2 S was detected as the reduction product. | Jiang Ruiyu Shan Honghong Zhang Jiling Yang Chaohe Li Chunyi | 2014 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2014,16,2: | 5
The correlation between nitrogen species in coke and NO_x formation during regeneration显示文摘Nitrogen oxides(NO x)emission during the regeneration of coked fluid catalytic cracking(FCC)catalysts is an environmental issue. In order to identify the correlations between nitrogen species in coke and different nitrogencontaining products in tail gas, three coked catalysts with multilayer structural coke molecules were prepared in a fixed bed with model compounds(o-xylene and quinoline)at first.A series of characterization methods were used to analyze coke, including elemental analysis,FT-IR,XPS,and TG–MS.XPS characterization indicates all coked catalysts present two types of nitrogen species and the type with a higher binding energy is related with the inner part nitrogen atoms interacting with acid sites.Due to the stronger adsorption ability on acid sites for basic nitrogen compounds, the multilayer structural coke has unbalanced distribution of carbon and nitrogen atoms between the inner part and the outer edge, which strongly affects gas product formation. At the early stage of regeneration, oxidation starts from the outer edge and the product NO can be reduced to N_2 in high CO concentration. At the later stage, the inner part rich in nitrogen begins to be exposed to O_2.At this period, the formation of CO decreases due to lack of carbon atoms, which is not bene ficial to the reduction of NO.Therefore, nitrogen species in the inner part of multilayer structural coke contributes more to NO X formation.Based on the multilayer structure model of coke molecule and its oxidation behavior,a possible strategy to control NO X emission was discussed merely from concept. | Teng Li Chaohe Yang Xiaobo Chen Libo Yao Wei Liang Xuemei Ding | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2016,24,5: | 5
Regulating catalyst morphology to boost the stability of Ni–Mo/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst for ebullated-bed residue hydrotreating显示文摘Hydrotreating of vacuum residue by ebullated-bed shows tremendous significance due to more stringent environmental regulations and growing demand for lighter fuels. However, enhancing the catalyst stability still remains as a challenging task. Herein, two Ni–Mo/Al_(2)O_(3) catalysts with distinct morphologies(i.e., spherical and cylindrical) were first designed, and the morphology effect on deactivation was systematically elucidated employing multi-characterizations, such as HRTEM with EDX mapping, electron microprobe analysis, FT-IR, TGA and Raman. It is found that spherical catalyst exhibits superior hydrotreating stability over 1600 h. The carbonaceous deposits on spherical catalyst with less graphite structure are lighter, and the coke weight is also smaller. In addition, the metal deposits uniformly distribute in the spherical catalyst, which is better than the concentrated distribution near the pore mouth for the cylindrical catalyst. Furthermore, the intrinsic reason for the differences was analyzed by the bed expansion experiment. Higher bed expansion rate together with the better mass transfer ability leads to the enhanced performance. This work sheds new light on the design of more efficient industrial hydrotreating catalyst based on morphology effect. | Huihong Zhu Zhiwei Mao Bin Liu Tao Yang Xiang Feng Hao Jin Chong Peng Chaohe Yang Jifeng Wang Xiangchen Fang | 2021 | Green Energy & Environment2021,6,2: | 4
Preparation and characterization of Mn/MgAlFe as transfer catalyst for SO_x abatement显示文摘A series of manganese-promoted MgAlFe mixed oxides, used as sulfur transfer catalysts, were prepared by acid-processed gelatin method and characterized by TGA-DTA, XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption and FT-IR techniques. It was found that the sulfur transfer catalysts with 0.5?3.0 wt% manganese showed its good dispersion in the precursor. The novel Mn/MgAlFe catalysts with 0.5?5.0 wt% manganese oxide showed a high oxidative adsorption rate and sulfur adsorption capacity, and 5.0 wt% Mn/MgAlFe sample was superior to the others for SO2 removal. Moreover, the presence of CO had no obvious effect on the adsorption activity of sulfur transfer catalysts for SO2 uptake. | Ruiyu Jiang Honghong Shan Chunyi Li Chaohe Yang | 2011 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2011,20,2: | 4
Catalytic Cracking and PSO-RBF Neural Network Model of FCC Cycle Oil显示文摘Catalytic cracking experiments of FCC cycle oil were carried out in a fixed fluidized bed reactor.Effects of reaction conditions, such as temperature, catalyst to oil ratio and weight hourly space velocity, were investigated.Hydrocarbon composition of gasoline was analyzed by gas chromatograph.Experimental results showed that conversion of cycle oil was low on account of its poor crackability performance, and the effect of reaction conditions on gasoline yield was obvious. The paraffin content was very high in gasoline.Based on the experimental yields under different reaction conditions,a model for prediction of gasoline and diesel yields was established by radial basis function neural network(RBFNN).In the model, the product yield was viewed as function of reaction conditions.Particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm with global search capability was used to obtain optimal conditions for a highest yield of light oil.The results showed that the yield of gasoline and diesel predicted by RBF neural network agreed well with the experimental values. The optimized reaction conditions were obtained at a reaction temperature of around 520℃,a catalyst to oil ratio of 7.4 and a space velocity of 8 h-1.The predicted total yield of gasoline and diesel reached 42.2% under optimized conditions. | Liu Yibin Tu Yongshan Li Chunyi Yang Chaohe | 2013 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2013,15,4: | 3
Tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand gene on human colorectal cancer cell line HT29显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the therapeutic efficiency of Tumor Necrosis Factor-related Apoptosis-inducing Ligand (TRAIL) gene on human colorectal cancer cell line HT29.METHODS: Human embryonal kidney cells transformed by introducing sheared fragments of Ad5 DNA (293 cell)were used for amplification of adenoviral vectors: Ad/GTTRAIL,Ad/GT-Bax, Ad/GT-LacZ and Ad/PGK-GV16. Human colorectal cancer cell line HT29 was transfected with binary adenovirus-mediated TRAIL gene. Bax gene was used as positive control, LacZ gene was used as the vector control, and cells treated with PBS only were used as a mock control. The morphological changes, cell growth and apoptosis were measured by reversmicroscope, MTT method and flow cytometry.RESULTS: All adenoviral vectors titer determined by optical absorbency at A260nm were 1×1010 viral particle/ml(vp/ml).Obviously morphological changes of HT29 cells were observed when infected with Ad/GT-TRAIL, and these changes were much more obviously when Ad/PGK-GV16was coinfected. The cell suppression percentage and the percentage of apoptotic cells were 52.5 % and 16.5 %respectively when infected with Ad/GT-TRAIL alone, while combining with Ad/PGK-GV16, the growth of HT29 was suppressed by 85.2 % and the percentage of apoptotic cells was 35.9 %. It showed a significantly enhanced therapeutic efficiency with binary system (P<0.05).CONCLUSION: A binary adenoviral vector system provides an effective approach to amplify viral vectors that express potentially toxic gene, TRAIL. Ad/GT-TRAIL showed a significantly enhanced therapeutic efficiency for HT29 when coinfected with Ad/PGK-GV16. Ad/GT-TRAIL could induce apoptosis of HT29 and inhibit its growth. | Xiang-MingXu ChaoHe Xiao-TongHu Bing-LiangFang | 2003 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2003,9,5: | 3
Freestanding polypyrrole nanotube/reduced graphene oxide hybrid film as flexible scaffold for dendrite-free lithium metal anodes显示文摘Lithium metal anode is the most potential anode material for the next generation high-energy rechargeable batteries owing to its highest specific capacity and lowest redox potential.Unfortunately, the uneven deposition of Li during plating/stripping and the formation of uncontrolled Li dendrites, which might cause poor battery performance and serious safety problems, are demonstrating to be a huge challenge for its practical application. Here,we show that a flexible and free-standing film hybriding with polypyrrole(PPy) nanotubes and reduced graphene oxide(rGO) can significantly regulate the Li nucleation and deposition, and further prohibit the formation of Li dendrites, owing to the large specific surface area, rich of nitrogen functional groups and porous structures. Finally, the high Coulombic efficiency and stable Li plating/stripping cycling performance with 98% for 230 cycles at 0.5 mA cm^(-2) and more than 900 hours stable lifespan are achieved. No Li dendrites form even at a Li deposition capacity as high as4.0 mA h cm^(-2).Besides,the designed PPy/rGO hybrid anode scaffold can also drive a superior battery performance in the lithium-metal full cell applications. | Gan Luo Xiaolin Hu Wei Liu Guanjie Lu Qiannan Zhao Jie Wen Jian Liang Guangsheng Huang Bin Jiang Chaohe Xu Fusheng Pan | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7: | 3
Engineering three-layer core–shell S-1/TS-1@dendritic-SiO_(2) supported Au catalysts towards improved performance for propene epoxidation with H_(2) and O_(2)显示文摘The advocacy of green chemical industry has led to the development of highly efficient catalysts for direct gas-phase propene epoxidation with green, sustainable and simple essence. The S-1/TS-1@dendritic-SiO_(2) material with three-layer core–shell structure was developed and used as the support for Au catalysts, which showed simultaneously fantastic PO formation rate,PO selectivity and stability(over 100 h)for propene epoxidation with H_(2) and O_(2).It is found that silicalite-1(S-1)core and the middle thin layer of TS-1 offer great mass transfer ability, which could be responsible for the excellent stability. The designed dendritic SiO_(2) shell covers part of the acid sites on the external surface of TS-1,inhibiting the side reactions and improving the PO selectivity.Furthermore, three kinds of SiO_(2) shell morphologies(i.e.,dendritic,net,mesoporous shell)were designed, and relationship between shell morphology and catalytic performance was elucidated. The results in this paper harbour tremendous guiding significance for the design of highly efficient epoxidation catalysts. | Zhaoning Song Juncong Yuan Zhenping Cai Dong Lin Xiang Feng Nan Sheng Yibin Liu Xiaobo Chen Xin Jin De Chen Chaohe Yang | 2020 | Green Energy & Environment2020,5,4: | 3
Studies on the preliminary cracking: The reasons why matrix catalytic function is indispensable for the catalytic cracking of feed with large molecular size显示文摘The matrix catalytic function when cracking the feed oil with large molecular size was systematically studied using three different catalyst configurations, including staged bed, partly mixed bed and completely mixed bed. Results showed that molecules in the feed oil with large molecular size indeed preferred to be first precracked on the matrix surface and then entered into the zeolite pores during the practical reaction process.Furthermore, the matrix catalytic function exhibited a great matrix-precracking ability to large feed molecules, which considerably increased the catalyst activity and the light oil selectivity.Besides the much better accessibility, the matrix-precracking ability was also from the similar capability to crack large feed hydrocarbons into the moderate fragments with that of the zeolite component.More interestingly, the interactions between the matrix catalytic function and the zeolite catalytic function made the catalyst not only exhibit much more catalytic advantages of the zeolite component, but also retain the matrix-precracking ability. As a result, the interactions enhanced the catalyst activity and improved the product distribution at the same time. The matrix catalytic function is indispensable for the catalytic cracking of feed with large molecular size, although the matrix component itself presented an inferior catalytic performance than the zeolite component did. | Bin Wang Nan Li Qiang Zhang Chunyi Li Chaohe Yang Honghong Shan | 2016 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2016,25,4: | 2
Validation of EMMS-based drag model using lattice Boltzmann simulations on GPUs显示文摘Interphase momentum transport in heterogeneous gas-solid systems with multi-scale structure is of great importance in process engineering. In this article, lattice Boltzmann simulations are performed on graphics processing units (GPUs), the computational power of which exceeds that of CPUs by more than one order of magnitude, to investigate incompressible Newtonian flow in idealized multi-scale particle-fluid systems. The structure consists of a periodic array of clusters, each constructed by a bundle of cylinders. Fixed pressure boundary condition is implemented by applying a constant body force to the flow through the medium. The bounce-back scheme is adopted on the fluid-solid interfaces, which ensures the no-slip boundary condition. The structure is studied under a wide range of particle diameters and packing fractions, and the drag coefflcient of the structure is found to be a function of voidages and fractions of the clusters, besides the traditional Reynolds number and the solid volume fractions. Parame- ters reflecting multi-scale characters are, therefore, demonstrated to be necessary in quantifying the drag force of heterogeneous gas-solid system. The numerical results in the range 0.1 ≤ Re ≤ 10 and 0 < < 0.25 are compared with Wen and Yu's correlation, Gibilaro equation, EMMS-based drag model, the Beetstra correlation and the Benyahia correlation, and good agreement is found between the simulations and the EMMS-based drag model for heterogeneous systems. | Yun Zhang Wei Ge Xiaowei Wang Chaohe Yang | 2011 | Particuology2011,9,4: | 2
