| 2 | A robust polyacrylic acid/chitosan cryogel for rapid hemostasis显示文摘Currently,it is a challenge to develop hemostatic materials with high water absorption capacity and anti-fatigue properties for quickly preventing massive hemorrhage from arteries and visceral organs.A series of polyacrylic acid/chitosan(PAA/CS)cryogels were prepared by a cryostructurization technique to improve mechanical performance and hemostatic efficiency of chitosan(CS).In this system,the chemically cross-linked PAA network was used as a framework to improve water absorption behaviors and mechanical strength.The CS network was co-blended by hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interactions,both of which synergistically promoted hemostasis.These cryogels had high porosity(>94%),rapid water absorption rate(<3 s),high blood absorption capacity(>2000%),outstanding mechanical strength,and fatigue resistance.Moreover,the results of cytotoxicity and hemolysis demonstrated that the cryogels had good biocompatibility.Notably,the PAA/CS cryogels exhibited superior whole blood coagulation ability and red blood cell and platelet adhesion ability compared to those of commercial hemostatic dressing(gauze,gelatin sponges,and CS sponges).Based on these results,mouse femoral artery hemorrhage models and liver hemorrhage models were prepared to investigate the hemostatic ability of the prepared PAA/CS cryogels.Results suggested that the hemostatic ability of PAA5/CS cryogels was superior to that of commercial hemostatic materials.Therefore,the PAA/CS cryogels showed potential application in preventing massive hemorrhage from arteries and visceral organs. | SHI MingYue JIANG LiJie YU ChaoJie DONG XiaoRu YU QingYu YAO MengMeng HE ShaoShuai YUE ZhiWei YAO FangLian ZHANG Hong SUN Hong LI JunJie | 2022 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,5: | 1 |
| 3 | Visible-Light Photocatalytic Activity of TiO_(2) Nanorods and Its Application to Degrading Organic Pollutants显示文摘Fluorine-doped tin oxide(FTO)/TiO_(2) seed layer/TiO_(2) nanorods were prepared by ion-beam deposition and hydrothermal methods.Under UV light,the photocurrent density of these nanorods was found to reach 1.39 mA/cm^(2),which was higher than that without the seed layer and nanorod structures.Furthermore,the FTO/TiO_(2) seed layer/TiO_(2) nanorods can also absorb visible light,overcoming a notable problem with standard TiO_(2).The photocurrent density of the FTO/TiO_(2) seed layer/TiO_(2) nanorods was found to reach 0.21 mA/cm^(2) under visible light.This high-performance results from the deposition of the TiO_(2) seed layer,which reduces the band gap of TiO_(2).The FTO/TiO_(2) seed layer/TiO_(2) nanorods also exhibited high photodegradation ability for the organic pollutant methylene blue(MB).Within 120 min,77.3%of the MB was found to have been degraded,and the degradation rates remained almost unchanged after four cycles with the same catalyst sample.Additionally,compared with powdered photocatalysts,the FTO/TiO_(2) seed layer/TiO_(2) nanorod sample is easy to recover,requiring only rinsing with water and natural drying after the reaction. | He Jie Shi Chaojie Yang Zhengchun Hou Qiang Zhang Rui Zhu Tianjia Pan Peng Zhang Ping | 2022 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2022,24,2: | 1 |
| 4 | Candidate therapeutic agents in a newly established triple wild-typemucosalmelanoma cell line显示文摘Background:Mucosalmelanoma has characteristically distinct genetic features and typically poor prognosis.The lack of representativemucosal melanoma models,especially cell lines,has hindered translational research on this melanoma subtype.In this study,we aimed to establish and provide the biological properties,genomic features and the pharmacological profiles of a mucosal melanoma cell line that would contribute to the understanding and treatment optimization of molecularly-defined mucosal melanoma subtype.Methods:The sample was collected from a 67-year-old mucosal melanoma patient and processed into pieces for the establishment of cell line and patientderived xenograft(PDX)model.The proliferation and tumorigenic property of cancer cells from different passageswere evaluated,andwhole-genome sequencing(WGS)was performed on the original tumor,PDX,established cell line,and the matched blood to confirm the establishment and define the genomic features of this cell line.AmpliconArchitect was conducted to depict the architecture of amplified regions detected by WGS.High-throughput drug screening(HTDS)assay including a total of 103 therapeutic agents was implemented on the established cell line,and selected candidate agents were validated in the corresponding PDX model.Results:A mucosal melanoma cell line,MM9H-1,was established which exhibited robust proliferation and tumorigenicity after more than 100 serial passages.Genomic analysis of MM9H-1,corresponding PDX,and the original tumor showed genetic fidelity across genomes,and MM9H-1 was defined as a triple wild-type(TWT)melanoma subtype lacking well-characterized“driver mutations”.Instead,the amplification of several oncogenes,telomerase reverse transcriptase(TERT),v-Rafmurine sarcoma viral oncogene homolog B1(BRAF),melanocyte Inducing transcription factor(MITF)and INO80 complex ATPase subunit(INO80),via large-scale genomic rearrangement potentially contributed to oncogenesis of MM9H-1.Moreover,HTDS identified proteasome inhibitors,especially bortezomib,as promising therapeutic candidates for MM9H-1,which was verified in the corresponding PDX model in vivo.Conclusions:We established and characterized a new mucosal melanoma cell line,MM9H-1,and defined this cell line as a TWT melanoma subtype lacking well-characterized“driver mutations”.The MM9H-1 cell line could be adopted as a unique model for the preclinical investigation of mucosal melanoma. | Chaoji Shi Ziyue Gu Shengming Xu Houyu Ju Yunteng Wu Yong Han Jiayi Li Chuwen Li Jing Wu Lizhen Wang Jiang Li Guoyu Zhou Weimin Ye Guoxin Ren Zhiyuan Zhang Rong Zhou | 2022 | Cancer Communications2022,42,7: | 1 |

| 6 | Morphology and Function of the Aortic Valve after Transcatheter Closure of Ventricular Septal Defect with Aortic Valve Prolapse显示文摘Objective:This study aims to evaluate the morphology and function of the aortic valve after transcatheter closure of ventricular septal defect(VSD)with aortic valve prolapse(AVP)abased on clinical and radiological outcomes.Methods:From January 2013 to November 2014,164 consecutive patients(97 males,59.1%)with VSD and AVP were treated by transcatheter closure.The patients were divided into the mild AVP group(n=63),moderate AVP group(n=89)and severe AVP group(n=12).The clinical and radiological outcomes of these patients were analyzed retrospectively.Results:In total,146(89.0%)patients were successfully treated with VSD occluders,including 59/63(93.7%)with mild AVP,80/89(89.9%)with moderate AVP and 7/12(58.3%)with severe AVP.The degree of AVP was ameliorated or disappeared in 39(26.7%)patients,and remained unchanged in 103(70.5%)patients after the intervention.In the 35 patients who initially had trivial-to-moderate aortic regurgitation(AR),the degree of AR was ameliorated or disappeared in 25(71.4%)patients,aggravated from trivial to mild AR in 1(2.9%)patient,and remained unchanged in 9(25.7%)patients.In 111 patients without AR,1(0.9%)patient had mild AR and 24(21.6%)patients had trivial AR after intervention.The depth and width of the prolapsed aortic valve decreased after transcatheter closure of VSD in all three groups.During the 70-month(range,54–77)follow-up period,no patients with AVP and AR needed an aortic valve intervention.Conclusions:Transcatheter closure of VSD with AVP is feasible.The morphology and function of the prolapsed aortic valve improved and remained stable for a long period after intervention. | Wenqian Zhang Chaojie Wang Lingmei Zhou Junjie Li Jijun Shi Yumei Xie Mingyang Qian Shushui Wang Zhiwei Zhang | 2021 | Congenital Heart Disease2021,16,5: | 0 |
