| 1 | An updated overview on the development of new photosensitizers for anticancer photodynamic therapy显示文摘Photodynamic therapy(PDT), based on the photoactivation of photosensitizers(PSs), has become a well-studied therapy for cancer. Photofrin~?, belonging to the first generation of PS, is still widely used for the treatment of different kinds of cancers; however, it has several drawbacks that significantly limit its general clinical use. Consequently, there has been extensive research on the design of PS molecules with optimized pharmaceutical properties, with aiming of overcoming the disadvantages of traditional PS, such as poor chemical purity, long half-life, excessive accumulation into the skin, and low attenuation coefficients. The rational design of novel PS with desirable properties has attracted considerable research in the pharmaceutical field. | 13 | Modelling individual head-related transfer function(HRTF)based on anthropometric parameters and generic HRTF amplitudes显示文摘The head-related transfer function(HRTF)plays a vital role in immersive virtual reality and augmented reality technologies,especially in spatial audio synthesis for binaural reproduction.This article proposes a deep learning method with generic HRTF amplitudes and anthropometric parameters as input features for individual HRTF generation.By designing fully convolutional neural networks,the key anthropometric parameters and the generic HRTF amplitudes were used to predict each individual HRTF amplitude spectrum in the full-space directions,and the interaural time delay(ITD)was predicted by the transformer module.In the amplitude prediction model,the attention mechanism was adopted to better capture the relationship of HRTF amplitude spectra at two distinctive directions with large angle differences in space.Finally,with the minimum phase model,the predicted amplitude spectrum and ITDs were used to obtain a set of individual head-related impulse responses.Besides the separate training of the HRTF amplitude and ITD generation models,their joint training was also considered and evaluated.The root-mean-square error and the log-spectral distortion were selected as objective measurement metrics to evaluate the performance.Subjective experiments further showed that the auditory source localisation performance of the proposed method was better than other methods in most cases. | Rui Zhang Ruijie Meng Jinqiu Sang Yi Hu Xiaodong Li Chengshi Zheng | 2023 | CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2023,8,2: | 0 |
| 14 | Exogenous Glycine Betaine Reduces Drought Damage by Mediating Osmotic Adjustment and Enhancing Antioxidant Defense in Phoebe hunanensis显示文摘Drought stress negatively impacts growth and physiological processes in plants.The foliar application of glycine betaine(GB)is an effective and low-cost approach to improve the drought tolerance of trees.This study examined the effect of exogenously applied GB on the cell membrane permeability,osmotic adjustment,and antioxidant enzyme activities of Phoebe hunanensis Hand.-Mazz under drought stress.Two levels(0 and 800 mL)of water irrigation were tested under different applied GB concentrations(0,50,100,and 200 mM).Drought stress decreased the relative water content by 58.5%while increased the electric conductivity,malondialdehyde,proline,soluble proteins,soluble sugars,and antioxidant enzyme activities(superoxide dismutase,catalase,peroxidase)by up to 62.9%,42.4%,87.0%,19.1%,60.5%,68.3%,71.7%,and 83.8%,respectively,on the 25^(th) day.The foliar application of GB,especially at 100 mM,increased the relative water content of P.hunanensis leaves under drought stress.The concentration of GB from 50 to 100 mM effectively alleviated the improvement of cell membrane permeability and inhibited the accumulation of membrane lipid peroxidation products.Under drought stress,the concentrations of proline,soluble proteins,and soluble sugars in the leaves of P.hunanensis increased as the applied GB concentration was increased and the water stress time was prolonged.Exogenously applied GB decreased oxidative stress and improved antioxidant enzyme activities as compared with treatments without GB application.Furthermore,the physiological and biochemical indexes of P.hunanensis showed a certain dose effect on exogenous GB concentration.These results suggest that GB helps maintain the drought tolerance of P.hunanensis. | Yujie Yang Chengshi Huang Zuguo Ge Bengeng Zhou Guangju Su Chunling Liu Yongjun Fei | 2022 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,1: | 0 |
| 15 | OPTIMAL SMOOTHING FOR MICROPHONE ARRAY POST-FILTERING UNDER A COMBINED DETERMINISTIC-STOCHASTIC HYBRID MODEL显示文摘This paper shows the importance of the optimal smoothing scheme in Microphone Array Post-Filtering(MAPF) under a combined Deterministic-Stochastic Hybrid Model(DSHM).We reveal that some of the well-known MAPF algorithms may cause serious speech distortion without using the optimal smoothing scheme,which is resulted from oversmoothing the raw periodogram over time.Using a minimum conditional mean square error criterion,we derive the optimal smoothing factor under the DSHM,where the Deterministic-to-Stochastic-Ratio(DSR) and the stationarity determine the value of the optimal smoothing factor.The optimal smoothing scheme is applied to the Tran-sient-Beam-to-Reference-Ratio(TBRR)-based MAPF algorithm and experimental results show its better performance in terms of both the Log-Spectral Distance(LSD) and the Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality(PESQ). | Hu Xiaohu Zheng Chengshi Li Xiaodong | 2011 | Journal of Electronics(China)2011,28,4: | 0 |
| 16 | A two-stage convolutional recurrent network-based stereophonic acoustic echo cancellation approach with complex spectrum显示文摘A two-stage convolutional recurrent network(CRN) with complex spectral input features is proposed to address the stereophonic acoustic echo cancellation(SAEC) problem.The proposed algorithm avoids the decorrelation of far-end signals, which solves the non-unique solution problem of the adaptive filter-based SAEC and ensures the stereo sound quality and spatial perception. It deals with SAEC problem in two stages. In the first stage, a CRN model is used to estimate the echo signal based on the microphone and the far-end signals. In the second stage, a CRN model is used to estimate the near-end speech based on the microphone input signal and the estimated echo signal from the first stage. The discrimination between echo and near-end signal of the model can be improved by using the estimated echo signal as a priori information, which benefits the estimation of near-end signal. The input features and training targets used in the network are the complex spectral of signals, which can recover the phase information of the near-end speech. | 17 | Equivalent construction of the infinitesimal time translation operator in algebraic dynamics algorithm for partial differential evolution equation显示文摘We give an equivalent construction of the infinitesimal time translation operator for partial differential evolution equation in the algebraic dynamics algorithm proposed by Shun-Jin Wang and his students. Our construction involves only simple partial differentials and avoids the derivative terms of δ function which appear in the course of computation by means of Wang-Zhang operator. We prove Wang’s equivalent theorem which says that our construction and Wang-Zhang’s are equivalent. We use our construction to deal with several typical equations such as nonlinear advection equation, Burgers equation, nonlinear Schrodinger equation, KdV equation and sine-Gordon equation, and obtain at least second order approximate solutions to them.
