| 1 | ADSORPTION DYNAMICS OF MACROPOROUS POLYMERIC ADSORBENT I.The Studies on the Particle Diffusion Mass-Transfer Process显示文摘The adsorption dynamics for phenol in aqueous solution of the adsorbent based on polystyrene was studied. In order to distinguish with the Boyd quasi-homogeneous model of the inner structure of ion-exchanger, the particle diffusion model including surface diffusion model and pore diffusion model was suggested which is suitable to the macroporous adsorbent. The diffusiondetermination step of the adsorption process was established and the effective diffusion coefficient was also determined. The influence of surface diffusion and pore diffusion on the particle diffusion rate was investigated qualitatively. | 5 | Operation Strategy Analysis and Configuration Optimization of Solar CCHP System显示文摘This paper proposed a new type of combined cooling heating and power(CCHP)system,including the parabolic trough solar thermal(PTST)power generation and gas turbine power generation.The thermal energy storage subsystem in the PTST unit provides both thermal energy and electrical energy.Based on the life cycle method,the configuration optimization under eight operation strategies is studied with the economy,energy,and environment indicators.The eight operation strategies include FEL,FEL-EC,FEL-TES,FEL-TES&EC,FTL,FTL-EC,FTL-TES,and FTL-TES&EC.The feasibility of each strategy is verified by taking a residential building cluster as an example.The indicators under the optimal configuration of each strategy are compared with that of the separate production(SP)system.The results showed that the PTST-CCHP system improves the environment and energy performance by changing the ratio of thermal energy and electric energy.The environment and energy indicators of FEL-TES&EC are superior to those of FTL-TES&EC in summer,and the results are just the opposite in winter.The initial annual investment of the PTST-CCHP system is higher than that of the SP system,but its economic performance is better than that of the SP system with the increase of life-cycle. | Duojin Fan Chengji Shi Kai Sun Xiaojuan Lu | 2021 | Energy Engineering2021,118,4: | 0 |
| 6 | A Diffuse-Interface Lattice Boltzmann Method for the Dendritic Growth with Thermosolutal Convection显示文摘In this work,we proposed a diffuse-interface model for the dendritic growth with thermosolutal convection.In this model,the sharp boundary between the fluid and solid dendrite is firstly replaced by a thin but nonzero thickness diffuse interface,which is described by the order parameter,and the diffuse-interface based governing equations for the dendritic growth are presented.To solve the model for the dendritic growth with thermosolutal convection,we also developed a diffuse-interface multirelaxation-time lattice Boltzmann(LB)method.In this method,the order parameter in the phase-field equation is combined into the force caused by the fluid-solid interaction,and the treatment on the complex fluid-solid interface can be avoided.In addition,four LB models are designed for the phase-field equation,concentration equation,temperature equation and the Navier-Stokes equations in a unified framework.Finally,we performed some simulations of the dendritic growth to test the present diffuse-interface LB method,and found that the numerical results are in good agreements with some previous works. | Chengjie Zhan Zhenhua Chai Baochang Shi Ping Jiang Shaoning Geng Dongke Sun | 2023 | Communications in Computational Physics2023,33,4: | 0 |
| 7 | Antifungal Activity of Schinifoline Against Candida Albicans in Caenorhabditis Elegans显示文摘Zanthoxylum schinifolium has been used as spices and traditional medicine in China for hundreds of years.A variety of active substances have been isolated from Zanthoxylum schinifolium using biological and chemical techniques.Among these substances,the effect of schinifoline has gradually attracted much attention.Candida albicans is one of the most common pathogens isolated from the gastrointestinal tract,vagina,and mouth in healthy individuals.In a healthy population,there are various mechanisms in host,such as the microbial flora,the epithelial barriers,and the innate immune system,that can control the presence of Candida albicans.However,when host immunity is compromised,an invasive fungal infection is more likely to occur.In this study,we explored the antifungal activity of schinifoline against Candida albicans in Caenorhabditis elegans.To determine the optimal concentration of schinifoline,we investigated the lifespan,defecation cycle and locomotion behavior of Caenorhabditis elegans after treatment with schinifoline.In addition,we examined colony formation in the intestine of Caenorhabditis elegans after Candida albicans infection.The results indicated that 100 and 200 mg/L of schinifoline could prolonged the lifespan,shorten the defecation cycle and increased the locomotion behavior of Caenorhabditis elegans,with 100 mg/L of schinifoline being the optimal concentration.Moreover,100 mg/L of schinifoline increased the lifespan of Caenorhabditis elegans after infection and inhibited the colony formation of Candida albicans in Caenorhabditis elegans intestine.Therefore,we concluded that schinifoline exhibits anti-fungal effects and its potential use as natural drugs should be further explored in future studies. | Chengjie Shu Mengli Zhang Weiming Zhang Shihong Ma Guoqing Chen Baojun Shi | 2019 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2019,88,3: | 0 |
