XLORE2: Large-scale Cross-lingual Knowledge Graph Construction and Application显示文摘Knowledge bases(KBs)are often greatly incomplete, necessitating a demand for KB completion.Although XLORE is an English-Chinese bilingual knowledge graph, there are only 423,974 cross-lingual links between English instances and Chinese instances. We present XLORE2,an extension of the XLORE that is built automatically from Wikipedia,Baidu Baike and Hudong Baike. We add more facts by making cross-lingual knowledge linking,cross-lingual property matching and fine-grained type inference. We also design an entity linking system to demonstrate the effectiveness and broad coverage of XLORE2. | Hailong Jin Chengjiang Li Jing Zhang Lei Hou Juanzi Li | 2019 | Data Intelligence2019,1,1: | 5
Hepatitis B virus evades immune recognition via RNA adenosine deaminase ADAR1-mediated viral RNA editing in hepatocytes显示文摘HBV is considered as a“stealth”virus that does not invoke interferon(IFN)responses;however, the mechanisms by which HBV bypasses innate immune recognition are poorly understood. In this study,we identified adenosine deaminases acting on RNA 1(ADAR1),which is a key factor in HBV evasion from IFN responses in hepatocytes.Mechanically,ADAR1 interacted with HBV RNAs and deaminated adenosine(A)to generate inosine(I),which disrupted host immune recognition and thus promoted HBV replication.Loss of ADAR1 or its deficient deaminase activity promoted IFN responses and inhibited HBV replication in hepatocytes, and blocking the IFN signaling pathways released the inhibition of HBV replication caused by ADAR1 deficiency.Notably, the HBV X protein(HBx)transcriptionally promoted ADAR1 expression to increase the threshold required to trigger intrinsic immune activation, which in turn enhanced HBV escape from immune recognition, leading to persistent infection.Supplementation with 8-azaadenosine,an ADAR1 inhibitor, efficiently enhanced liver immune activation to promote HBV clearance in vivo and in vitro.Taken together, our results delineate a molecular mechanism by which HBx promotes ADAR1-derived HBV immune escape and suggest a targeted therapeutic intervention for HBV infection. | Liyuan Wang Yang Sun Xiaojia Song Zehua Wang Yankun Zhang Ying Zhao Xueqi Peng Xiaodong Zhang Chunyang Li Chengjiang Gao Nailin Li Lifen Gao Xiaohong Liang Zhuanchang Wu Chunhong Ma | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,8: | 2
OTUD5 promotes innate antiviral and antitumor immunity through deubiquitinating and stabilizing STING显示文摘Stimulator of interferon genes(STING)is an adaptor protein that is critical for effective innate antiviral and antitumor immunity. The activity of STING is heavily regulated by protein ubiquitination, which is fine-tuned by both E3 ubiquitin ligases and deubiquitinases. Here,we report that the deubiquitinase OTUD5 interacts with STING,cleaves its K48-linked polyubiquitin chains, and promotes its stability.Consistently, knockout of OTUD5 resulted in faster turnover of STING and subsequently impaired type I IFN signaling following cytosolic DNA stimulation.More importantly,Lyz2-Cre Otud5^(fl/Y) mice and CD11-Cre Otud5^(fl/Y) mice showed more susceptibility to herpes simplex virus type 1(HSV-1)infection and faster development of melanomas than their corresponding control littermates, indicating that OTUD5 is indispensable for STING-mediated antiviral and antitumor immunity. Our data suggest that OTUD5 is a novel checkpoint in the cGAS-STING cytosolic DNA sensing pathway. | Yunyun Guo Fei Jiang Lingli Kong Haifeng Wu Honghai Zhang Xiaorong Chen Jian Zhao Baoshan Cai Yanqi Li Chunhong Ma Fan Yi Lei Zhang Bingyu Liu Yi Zheng Lingqiang Zhang Chengjiang Gao | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,8: | 2
MINERALOGICAL FEATURES OF ULTRAMAFIC HYPOXENOLITHS IN ALKALI-RICH PORPHYRY显示文摘Ultramafic hypoxenoliths found in the alkali-rich porphyry in the Liuhe Village, Heqing, Yunnan,China, are of great significance in understanding the origin and evolution of the porphyry. This paper discusses the mineralogical features of the hypoxenoliths. It shows that the xenoliths are characterized by the upper mantle rocks modified to certain extent by the enriched mantle fluid metasomatism in the mantle environment, with the enriched mantle property of Iow-degree partial melting. This constitutes the important mineralogical evidence for the petrogenesis and mineralization of alkali-rich porphyry. | LIU Xianfan , YANG Zhengxi, LIU Jiaduo, ZHANG Chengjiang, WU Dechao and LI Youguo(Institute of Earth Science, Chengdu University of Technology, Erxianqiao Dongsan Road 1#,Chengdu, SC610059, China) | 2003 | Geotectonica et Metallogenia2003,27,1: | 2

Hydrocortisone, vitamin C,and thiamine may not improve the outcome of patients with sepsis or septic shock:a systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Background This study aimed to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis of the efficacy of hydrocortisone, vitamin C,and thiamine(HVT)in patients with sepsis or septic shock. Methods A literature search was performed in PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library, and Web of Science from their inception to April 2021.Search terms included hydrocortisone, thiamine, vitamin C,sepsis, and septic shock.Only randomized controlled trials on HVT in treating sepsis and septic shock were analyzed.Risk ratio(RR)was generated using Review Manager 5.3 to evaluate binary variants, whereas mean±standard deviation(MD)was generated to assess continuous variants. Results A total of 7 randomized controlled trials, with 1233 patients, were included in this meta-analysis.There was no significant difference in long-term mortality(35.3%vs 33.2%;RR:1.07;95%confidence interval[95%CI]:0.90-1.27;P=0.45;I^(2)=0%),intensive care unit(ICU)mortality(17.4%vs 17.5%;RR:0.99;95%CI:0.75-1.30;P=0.95;I^(2)=0%),in-hospital mortality(27.4%vs 25.8%;RR:1.06;95%CI:0.84-1.34;P=0.63;I^(2)=0%),and acute kidney injury morbidity(RR:1.04;95%CI:0.91-1.18;P=0.60;I^(2)=0%)between HVT and control groups. For continuous variables, there was no significant effect of HVT therapy on delta Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(△SOFA)score(MD:−0.44;95%CI:−1.00 to 0.12;P=0.12;I^(2)=49%),length of ICU stay(MD:0.43;95%CI:−0.27 to 1.14;P=0.23;I^(2)=0%),and length of hospital stay(MD:0.80;95%CI:−0.38 to 1.97;P=0.18;I^(2)=0%).Only vasopressor duration was significantly reduced in the HVT group(MD:−17.75;95%CI:−25.56 to−9.94;P<0.00001;I^(2)=38%).Vasopressor duration refers to the time to shock reversal.Alternatively,it is the amount of time(in hours)required for patients to withdraw all vasoactive medication support.Neither HVT nor control△SOFA reached statistical significance. Conclusion Hydrocortisone, vitamin C,and thiamine use was not associated with improved mortality, lower acute kidney injury incidence, lower△SOFA,and shorter ICU and in-hospital stays among patients with sepsis and septic shock. However, the use of vasopressors decreased significantly.Further direct head-to-head studies are needed. | Zhuangli Li Xiaoli Zhang Yongliang Wu Chao Xie Chengjiang Liu Xiuyu He Zehua Wu Guofang Hua Yuedong Li | 2023 | Emergency and Critical Care Medicine2023,3,3: | 0
The role of macrophages in the formation of hypertrophic scars and keloids显示文摘Numerous studies have shown that macrophages can orchestrate the microenvironment from the early stage of wound healing to the later stages of scar formation. However, few reviews have highlighted the significance of macrophages during the formation of abnormal scars. The purpose of this reviewwas to outline the polarization of macrophages from early to late stage of pathological scar formation, focusing on spatiotemporal diversity of M1 and M2 macrophages. In this review, the role of macrophages in the formation of hypertrophic scars and keloids is summarized in detail.First,an increased number of M2 cells observed before injuries are significantly associated with susceptibility to abnormal scar pathogenesis.Second, decreased expression of M1 at the early stage and delayed expression of M2 at the late stage results in pathological scar formation.Third,M2 cells are highly expressed at both the margin and the superficial region, which is consistent with the invasive property of keloids. Finally, this review helps to characterize strategies for the prediction and prevention of pathological scar formation. | Xiangwen Xu Shuchen Gu Xin Huang Jieyi Ren Yihui Gu Chengjiang Wei Xiang Lian Haizhou Li Yashan Gao Rui Jin Bin Gu Tao Zan Zhichao Wang | 2020 | Burns & Trauma2020,8,1: | 0
PD-L1 Expression and Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes in Neurofibromatosis Type 1-Related Benign Tumors and Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumors:An Implication for Immune Checkpoint Inhibition Therapy显示文摘Background Neurofibromatosis type 1(NF1)is an autosomal dominant inherited disorder. It can affect multiple systems of the body and cause severe disfigurement and discomfort in these patients. There are two types of neurofibromas, named cutaneous and plexiform neurofibromas. The latter type may transform into malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors(MPNSTs).Surgical resection is difficult to perform owing to the complex tissue structure of neurofibromas;therefore,it is necessary to develop novel and effective therapies for the treatment of these tumors.Programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1)/programmed cell death-ligand 1(PD-L1)-related immune checkpoint inhibitors have been proven effective for various cancers, and the positive expression of PD-L1 and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs)has been recognized as a biomarker for the response to immune checkpoint therapy. Methods We conducted immunohistochemistry(IHC)staining to detect PD-L1 expression in plexiform neurofibroma and MPNST tissue samples.Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)and western blotting were performed to detect PD-L1 and PD-1 expression in MPNST cell lines.IHC staining was used to show immune cell infiltration in NF1 and MPNST tissues. Results IHC staining showed PD-L1 positive expression in neurofibromas and MPNST tumor tissues. In addition,qPCR and western blotting showed high expression of PD-L1 in MPNST tumor cells.IHC staining revealed that aberrant T lymphocytes infiltrated the plexiform neurofibroma and MPNST tumor tissues. Conclusion These results indicate that immune checkpoint mechanisms may play a pivotal role in the development of NF1-related tumors, and immune checkpoint inhibitors may be effective for managing neurofibromas and MPNSTs.Combined therapy with other molecular agents may be explored in the future. | Jin LIU Haibo LI Chengjiang WEI Qingfeng LI Zhichao WANG | 2021 | Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2021,3,2: | 0
Analysis of the current Covid-19 infection and vaccination status in patients with neurofibromatosis type 1显示文摘Background:To investigate the common symptoms after Covid-19 infection, characteristics of adverse events after vaccination, changes in clinical manifestations related to Neurofibromatosis type 1(NF1),as well as the current vaccination status and factors related to vaccine hesitation among NF1 patients,in order to provide a basis for scientific protection and vaccine acceptance in NF1 individuals in the new phase of pandemic management. Methods:From December 29,2022,to January 10,2023,we conducted a self-assessment questionnaire survey among diagnosed NF1 patients.General data were provided including sex, age, main clinical presentations, and current treatment. This study mainly focused on the infection and vaccination status of Covid-19 among these patients with NF1.The data were statistically analyzed using SPSS26.0 software. Results:Of the 250 questionnaires distributed,226 were valid.Among the 164 patients(72.6%)with Covid-19 infection, the most common infection symptoms and incidence of patients were not significantly different from those in the normal population(P>0.05),but the incidence of symptoms such as nasal congestion, headache, myalgia, sore throat, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and eye discomfort was higher than that in the normal population(P<0.05),and no severe infection was observed;186 patients(82.3%)had completed the Covid-19 vaccination, and more than half of those who were not vaccinated had no plans for vaccination.Among the vaccinated patients, there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse events, such as fever, pain, redness, and swelling at the injection site after vaccination, compared to the normal population(P>0.05),but the incidence of fatigue and headache was higher in NF1 patients(P<0.001).Most patients with NF1 believe that there is no significant progressive change in NF1-related clinical manifestations after Covid-19 infection and vaccination. Conclusion:Currently, some NF1 patients appear to be worried about the evolution of their disease after Covid-19 infection in the face of large fluctuations in the pandemic situation, and some patients hesitate to receive the vaccine due to their special disease condition. Thus, clinical trials should be conducted to develop a refined pandemic response and vaccination program for this special group. | Lingling Ge Yihui Gu Wei Wang Chengjiang Wei Zhichao Wang Qingfeng Li | 2023 | Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2023,5,1: | 0
Improved photocatalytic activity of TiO_2 produced by an alcohothermal approach through in-situ decomposition of NH_4HCO_3显示文摘High crystallinity of TiO_2 was prepared by a modified alcohothermal method, in which titanium isopropoxide was used as the titania precursor, absolute ethanol as the reaction medium, and NH_4HCO_3 as the raw materials for release of water, ammonia and carbon dioxides via in-situ decomposition. The X-ray powder diffraction(XRD) and transmission electron microscope(TEM) measurements showed that water and ammonia from the in-situ decomposition of NH_4HCO_3 played an important role in conducting the size, shape, crystallinity and microstructure of TiO_2. The photoluminescence spectroscopy and photocurrent measurements indicated that enhanced crystallinity could hinder the recombination and promote the separation of electron-hole pairs in TiO_2, which contribute to the improvement of photocatalytic activity.Methyl orange photodegradation under UV light confirmed that high crystallinity of TiO_2 did present a high photocatalytic activity due to the effective separation of photoinduced charges. | Changyuan Hu Chengjiang Lian Shizheng Zheng Xiaoyu Li Tiewen Lu Quanhong Hu Shuwang Duo Rongbin Zhang Yingying Sun Fei Chen | 2016 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2016,25,3: | 0

History and prospect of melanocytic nevus treatment:A bibliometric analysis显示文摘Background:Melanocytic nevus is mainly treated by complete or partial removal. However, predicting the risk of malignant transformation of melanocytic nevi and which treatment patients should receive, surgical or nonsurgical management,to gain the best results and aesthetic outcomes is controversial. Methods:Global literature on melanocytic nevus treatment, published between 1997 and 2022,was scanned using the Web of Science Core Collection database.Microsoft Office Excel,CiteSpace V,VOSviewer,Scimago Graphica,Bibliometrix, and Biblioshiny packages in R were used for the bibliometric analysis to summarize the leading countries, institutions, professors, and research trends in this field. Results:This study included 1723 articles.Publications and citations exhibited positive trends over the past 20 years. The United States had the most productive organizations and publications in the comprehensive worldwide cooperation network, and China was recently one of the most active major participants.Professor Giovanni Pellacani, whose H-index,G-index,and M-index ranked first in this field, founded a virtual biopsy using reflectance confocal microscopy. In addition,Krengel and Kinsler contributed significantly to diagnosing and treating melanocytic nevi. The top 25 keywords in recent years were mostly about the mechanisms and risk factors for the malignant transformation of nevi. Conclusion:The future trend for melanocytic nevi treatment is to specify genotype-phenotype and genotypeoutcome correlations, choose proper therapy to reduce the risk of malignant transformation, and simultaneously achieve the best aesthetic outcomes. | Zizhen Guo Lingling Ge Yuehua Li Yihui Gu Wei Wang Chengjiang Wei Bin Gu Qingfeng Li Zhichao Wang | 2023 | Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2023,5,4: | 0
A Numerical Study of Localized Plastic Deformationin Polycrystals显示文摘A finite element formulation which derives constitutive response from crystal plasticity theory was used to examine localized deformation in fcc polycrystals. The polycrystal model was an idealized planar array of 22 hexagonal grains. The constitutive description used is based on a finite strain kinematical theory that accounts for lattice rotations. Formation of shear bands was successfully modeled in both single crystal and polycrystals. Stress and strain distribution around triple junctions was also analyzed. Results show the distributions of stresses and strains are distinctly inhomogeneous. Stress and strain fields across grain boundaries are highly discontinuous. However, this discontinuity will be restrained when shear bands are fully developed. | Chengjiang HUANG, Dianzhong LI, Changrong CHEN and Yiyi LI Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Science, Shenyang 110015, China | 2001 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2001,17,2: | 0
