4Prior area searching for energy-based sound source localization显示文摘Traditional energy-based sound source localization methods have the problems of the large solution space and time-consuming calculation.Accordingly,this paper proposes to use the data collected by each acoustic sensor and their corresponding weights to adaptively initialize the prior area of a target.In this way,the potential existence range of the target is reduced and the location estimate can be determined in a small area.Specifically,we first determine the initial search point based on the current sound data and the set rules.Then,the prior location of the target is iteratively searched according to different sound energy circles’weights.Next,the prior area of the target is determined around the prior location.Finally,the precise location of the target is further traversed to minimize the objective function,which is constructed by the weighted nonlinear least squares location(WNLS)algorithm.A series of indoor experiments are performed.The results show that our method can effectively improve the positioning accuracy by approximately 13%and greatly reduce the calculation time.Feng GAO Yeyun CAI Fang DENG Chengpu YU Jie CHEN 2022Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,12:1

7Recursive Least Squares Identification With Variable-Direction Forgetting via Oblique Projection Decomposition显示文摘In this paper,a new recursive least squares(RLS)identification algorithm with variable-direction forgetting(VDF)is proposed for multi-output systems.The objective is to enhance parameter estimation performance under non-persistent excitation.The proposed algorithm performs oblique projection decomposition of the information matrix,such that forgetting is applied only to directions where new information is received.Theoretical proofs show that even without persistent excitation,the information matrix remains lower and upper bounded,and the estimation error variance converges to be within a finite bound.Moreover,detailed analysis is made to compare with a recently reported VDF algorithm that exploits eigenvalue decomposition(VDF-ED).It is revealed that under non-persistent excitation,part of the forgotten subspace in the VDF-ED algorithm could discount old information without receiving new data,which could produce a more ill-conditioned information matrix than our proposed algorithm.Numerical simulation results demonstrate the efficacy and advantage of our proposed algorithm over this recent VDF-ED algorithm.Kun Zhu Chengpu Yu Yiming Wan 2022IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2022,9,3:1

10Changes in Disease Patterns in Rural China,With an Explanatory Framework显示文摘Data on the disease pattern in rural China over the past hundred years show that chronic diseases have now replaced infectious diseases as the major health problems plaguing rural residents.From the perspective of life-course research,taken together with medical anthropology's emphasis on bio-sociocultural integrity,we can divide chronic diseases into two:the chronic diseases of excessive depletion and the chronic diseases of excessive intake.The former are mainly the result of societal experiences engraved on the body;chronic diseases represented by arthritis and intervertebral disc disease arc the marks left on the human body by the'hard times'of the early years.The latter is the result of the transformation of working life in which the abundance of material resources and the reduction of physical exertion occur simultaneously;the rapid arrival of the'good times'mean that bodies that have long suffered from hunger and exhaustion find it hard to adapt.Hypertension and diabetes are the physical manifestations of this distress.Fundamentally,chronic diseases falling into the over-intake category may appear to originate from the sweetness of current life,but they are in fact the physical reproduction of earlier experiences.Our village case study fleshes out this explanatory framework,allowing us to see the complex relationship between social institutions,livelihood patterns,cultural mindsets,bodily habits,and disease.Yu Chengpu 2021Social Sciences in China2021,42,3:0
11Effective and Lightweight Defenses Against Website Fingerprinting on Encrypted Traffic显示文摘Recently,website fingerprinting(WF)attacks that eavesdrop on the web browsing activity of users by analyzing the observed traffic can endanger the data security of users even if the users have deployed encrypted proxies such as Tor.Several WF defenses have been raised to counter passive WF attacks.However,the existing defense methods have several significant drawbacks in terms of effectiveness and overhead,which means that these defenses rarely apply in the real world.The performance of the existing methods greatly depends on the number of dummy packets added,which increases overheads and hampers the user experience of web browsing activity.Inspired by the feature extraction of current WF attacks with deep learning networks,in this paper,we propose TED,a lightweight WF defense method that effectively decreases the accuracy of current WF attacks.We apply the idea of adversary examples,aiming to effectively disturb the accuracy of WF attacks with deep learning networks and precisely insert a few dummy packets.The defense extracts the key features of similar websites through a feature extraction network with adapted Grad-CAM and applies the features to interfere with the WF attacks.The key features of traces are utilized to generate defense fractions that are inserted into the targeted trace to deceive WF classifiers.The experiments are carried out on public datasets from DF.Compared with several WF defenses,the experiments show that TED can efficiently reduce the effectiveness of WF attacks with minimal expenditure,reducing the accuracy by nearly 40%with less than 30%overhead.Chengpu Jiang Zhenbo Gao Meng Shen 2022国际计算机前沿大会会议论文集2022,,2:0
12Genetic Diversity of Jinsha Pomelo and Its Closely-related Germplasms Assessed by SSR Molecular Markers显示文摘SSR molecular markers were used to analyze the genetic diversity of 8 Jinsha pomelo germplasm and its closely-related varieties from main planting area in Jiangxi Province. A total of 92 alleles were detected from 26 pairs of selected primers with 53. 68% of polymorphism. The alleles detected per locus were ranged from 2 to 8. 13Reliability Analysis for Retaining Pile in Foundation Pit Based on Bayesian Principle显示文摘Moso bamboo has the advantages of high short-term strength and reproducibility,appropriating for temporary supporting structure of shallow foundation pit.According to the displacement of the pile top from an indoor model test,the reliability of the supporting effect of the moso bamboo pile was analyzed.First,the calculation formula of reliability index was deduced based on themean-value first-order second-moment(MVFOSM)method and probability theory under ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state.Then,the dimensionless bias factor(the ratio of the measured value to the calculated value)was introduced to normalize the displacement.The mathematical characteristics of the displacement were estimated and optimized based on Bayesian theory.Finally,taking 2.5 as the design reliability index,the effect of safety factor,tolerable limit displacement,and the ratio of the ultimate limit displacement to the tolerable on reliability index was analyzed.The results show that the safety level of the supporting pile can be increased by 1–2 levels when the safety factor increases by 0.5.When the coefficient of variation of tolerable limit displacement is less than 0.3,the safety factor can be 2–2.5.And the ratio of the ultimate limit displacement to the tolerable has a great influence on the reliability index,when the soil conditions is well,the ratio can be 1.2–1.3.Yousheng Deng Chengpu Peng Jialin Su Lingtao Li Liqing Meng Long Li 2022Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,2:0
