| 1 | Discussion on Sustainable Urbanization in Tibet显示文摘After 1995, Tibet entered the stage of accelerated urbanization. The large floating population from outside Tibet has become the driving force for urban expansion and the rising of urbanization rate. After analyzing the changes of urban functions and spatial structure of urban system in Tibet, this paper argues that before 1995 the urbanization in Tibet was mainly driven by administrative function, resulting in certain population migration, whereas in the past decade economic function has become the key factor accelerating urban expansion with the market mechanism creating large-scale inflow of population. The floating population-based urbanization and high population growth in the agricultural and pastoral areas of Tibet has promoted the regional economic prosperity, but exerted resources and environmental pressure and brought some problems for Tibetan culture protection at the same time. The conflicts and contradictions between urbanization and the sustainability of natural resources, environment and social development have been intensified. | 2 | Image-guided locoregional non-intravascular interventional treatments for hepatocellular carcinoma: Current status显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is one of the most deadly and frequent cancers worldwide,although great advancement in the treatment of this malignancy have been made within the past few decades.It continues to be a major health issue due to an increasing incidence and a poor prognosis.The majority of patients have their HCC diagnosed at an intermediate or advanced stage in theUSA or China.Curative therapy such as surgical resection or liver transplantation is not considered anoption of treatment at these stages.Transarterial chemoembolization(TACE),the most widely used locoregional therapeutic approach,used to be the mainstay of treatment for cases with unresectable cancer entities.However,for those patients with hypovascular tumors or impaired liver function reserve,TACE is a suboptimal treatment option.For example,embolization does not result in complete coverage of a hypovascular tumor,and may rather promotes postoperative tumor recurrence,or leave residual tumor,in these TACE-resistance patients.In addition,TACE carries a higher risk of hepatic decompensation in patients with poor liver function or reserve.Non-vascular interventional locoregional therapies for HCC include radiofrequency ablation(RFA),microwave ablation(MWA),high-intensity focused ultrasound(HIFU),laser-induced thermotherapy(LITT),cryosurgical ablation(CSA),irreversible Electroporation(IRE),percutaneous ethanol injection(PEI),and brachytherapy.Recent advancements in these techniques have significantly improved the treatment efficacy of HCC and expanded the population of patients who qualify for treatment.This review embraces the current status of imaging-guided locoregional non-intravascular interventional treatments for HCCs,with a primary focus on the clinical evaluation and assessment of the efficacy of combined therapies using these interventional techniques. | Kun Qian Feng Zhang Stephen K.Allison Chuansheng Zheng Xiaoming Yang | 2021 | Journal of Interventional Medicine2021,4,1: | 11 |

| 6 | Characteristic mineralogy of the Zhutishi granite:Implication for petrogenesis of the late intrusive granite显示文摘Many late intrusive granites with strongly peraluminous composition and fine-grained tex-ture occur as stocks or apophysis in the Dadongshan main intrusive granite located in NW Guang-dong Province. This paper reports the results of a petrogenetic study of some characteristic minerals (zircon, muscovite and andalusite) from the Zhutishi granite, one of the late intrusive granites in the Dadongshan granite. It is observed that the typological pattern of zircon population in the Zhutishi granite differs significantly from that in the Dadongshan granite, and that muscovite and andalusite, only found in the Zhutishi granite, are of magmatic origin. Therefore, this paper considers that the Zhutishi granite was unlike to be produced through crystal fractionation from the Dadongshan granitic magma as reported by previous authors, but is related closely to the formation of the Dadongshan granite. The hydrothermal fluid, produced by differentiation of the Dadongshan granitic magma at deep magmatic chamber, would penetrate into the source rock of the Zhutishi granite, and make it enriched in H2O and Al2O3; and the decompression after the ascent of the Dadongshan granitic magma in extension regime promotes partial melting of the source rock of the Zhutishi granite, and produces the strongly peraluminous granitic magma. | 7 | 3D urchin like V-doped CoP in situ grown on nickel foam as bifunctional electrocatalyst for efficient overall water-splitting显示文摘Cobalt phosphide (CoP) is considered to be a potential candidate in the field of electrocatalysis due to its low-cost, abundant resources and high electrochemical stability. However, there is a great space for further improvement of its electrocatalytic performance since its charge transfer rate and catalytic activity have not reached a satisfactory level. Herein, we design and fabricate a three dimensional urchins like V-doped CoP with different amounts of V-doping on nickel foam electrode. The V-doped CoP/NF electrode with optimized amounts of V-doping (10%) exhibits outstanding hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) performance under universal-pH conditions and preeminent oxygen evolution reaction (OER) performance in alkaline media. Notably, the assembled water-splitting cell displays a cell voltage of only 1.53 V at 10 mA·cm−2 and has excellent durability, much better than many reported related bifunctional catalysts. The experiment results and theoretical analysis revealed that vanadium atoms replace cobalt atoms in CoP lattice. Vanadium doping can not only raise the density of electronic states near the Fermi level enhancing the conductivity of the catalyst, but can also optimize the free energy of hydrogen and oxygen-containing intermediates adsorption over CoP, thus promoting its catalytic activity. Moreover, the unique nanostructure of the catalyst provides the various shortened channels for charge transfer and reactant/electrolyte diffusion, which accelerates the electrocatalytic process. | 8 | Analysis of negative DSA findings in patients with acute nonvariceal gastrointestinal bleeding: A retrospective study of 133 patients显示文摘Purpose: To analyze causes of acute nonvariceal gastrointestinal bleeding(GIB) with negative digital subtraction angiography(DSA) results.Materials and methods: The clinical and follow-up data of 133 patients-recruited between February 2008 and November 2016-with acute nonvariceal GIB and negative DSA results were included in this study. DSA results,diagnoses, and clinical outcomes were recorded.Results: The DSA results were negative in all 133 patients. Of the total, 55 patients(41.4%) chose to undergo surgery and 78(58.6%) opted for conservative treatment. Within 30 days, there was no significant difference in the rebleeding or mortality rates between the two groups(P <.05). Of all 133 patients, 76(57.1%) had upper GIB and 57(42.9%) had lower GIB;within 30 days, the rebleeding rate in the upper GIB group(44.7%, 34/76) was significantly higher than that in the lower GIB group(26.3%, 15/57). There was no significant statistical difference(P <.05) within 30 days in the mortality rates between the two groups.Among patients with upper GIB, 26(34.2%, 26/76) opted to undergo surgery and 50(65.8%, 50/76) chose conservative treatment;within 30 days, the rebleeding rate in the group that chose surgery(61.5%, 16/26) was higher than that in the conservative treatment group(36%, 18/50). There was no significant difference(P <.05)within 30 days in the mortality rate between the two groups.Among the patients with lower GIB, 29(50.9%, 29/57) chose to undergo surgery and 28(49.1%, 28/57) opted for conservative treatment. Within 30 days, the rebleeding rate in the surgery group(13.8%, 4/29) was lower than that in conservative treatment group(39.3%, 11/28). There was no significant difference(P <.05) within 30 days in the mortality rate between the two groups.Sixteen patients underwent prophylactic arterial embolization;in 6 of these, bleeding was stopped for 30 days.DSA was then repeated in these 16 patients after a median interval of 1 day, and a positive bleeding site was found in 9 of the 16. Causes of bleeding were found in 111 patients by surgery or endoscopy, whereas the causes remained unknown in 22 patients.Conclusions: Upper GIB with negative DSA results was stopped by conservative treatment, whereas lower GIB required surgery to detect the culprit bleeding site. | 9 | Geochemical constraints on the methane seep activity in western slope of the middle Okinawa Trough, the East China Sea显示文摘Anaerobic oxidation of methane and sulfate reduction was studied in the pore waters of four cores at two stations of the middle Okinawa Trough. Pore water vertical distributions of sulfate, methane, sulfide, total alkalinity, ammonium, and phosphate were determined in this study. Our results show strong linear sulfate concentration gradients of 6.83 mmol/L m?1 in Core A and 5.96 mmol/L m?1 in Core C, which were collected from two stations. Concurrent variations of methane, total alkalinity and hydrogen sulfide all exhibit steep increases with depth at both cores, which indicate active methane seep activities around two stations. Pore water ammonium and phosphate concentrations reveal minor influences of organic matter degradation on sulfate reduction at two stations. Sulfate methane interface(SMI) was extrapolated from linear sulfate profiles in methane seep cores. | 11 | Influence of Anion Types on the Electrodeposition Healing Effect of Concrete Cracks显示文摘With the zinc salt and magnesium salt solutions, the influence of anion types on the electrodeposition healing effect of concrete cracks was investigated, four parameters such as rate of weight gain, surface coating, crack closure, and crack filling depth were measured, and the mineral composition and appearance of electrodeposits in the cracks were analyzed. The experimental results demonstrate that the electrodeposition healing effect is the best by adopting ZnSO4 and MgSO4 solutions. The mineral composition of electrodeposits in the cracks does not change with the anion types. The most particles of ZnO crystal appear as fusiform by using zinc salt solutions. If we selected MgSO4 solution, the Mg(OH)2 crystal was porous honeycomb. | 15 | Evaluation Research on Applicability of Rapid Iodide Migration Test显示文摘The applicability of the rapid iodide migration test was systematically studied. Comparative experimental tests of different test conditions, including several external voltages, test durations, concrete ages and mixing proportions, were carried out to make clear the transport behaviors of iodide under parallel electric fields. Numerical simulations were also done using the finite element method to found the correlation between chloride and iodide transport behaviors. The test and numerical results show that the chloride transport behaviors of RIM and RCM tests have a good correlation under the several conditions used in the present paper. Moreover, the influence of external conditions(external voltages, test durations) on the test results is small.
