| 1 | The Genomes of the Allohexaploid Echinochloa crus-galli and Its Progenitors Provide Insights into Polyploidization-Driven Adaptation显示文摘The hexaploid species Echinochloa crus-galli is one of the most detrimental weeds in crop fields, especially in rice paddies. Its evolutionary history is similar to that of bread wheat, arising through polyploidization after hybridization between a tetraploid and a diploid species. In this study,we generated and analyzed high-quality genome sequences of diploid(E.haploclada),tetraploid(E.oryzicola),and hexaploid(E.crus-galli)Echinochloa species.Gene family analysis showed a significant loss of disease-resistance genes such as those encoding NB-ARC domain-containing proteins during Echinochloa polyploidization, contrary to their significant expansionduring wheat polyploidization, suggesting that natural selection might favor reduced investment in resistance in this weed to maximize its growth and reproduction. In contrast to the asymmetric patterns of genome evolution observed in wheat and other crops,no significant differences in selection pressure were detected between the subgenomes in E.oryzicola and E.crus-galli.In addition, distinctive differences in subgenome transcriptome dynamics during hexaploidization were observed between E.crus-galli and bread wheat.Collectively, our study documents genomic mechanisms underlying the adaptation of a major agricultural weed during polyploidization. The genomic and transcriptomic resources of three Echinochloa species and new insights into the polyploidization-driven adaptive evolution would be useful for future breeding cereal crops. | Chu-Yu Ye Dongya Wu Lingfeng Mao Lei Jia Jie Qiu Sangting Lao Meihong Chen Bowen Jiang Wei Tang Qiong Peng Lang Pan Lifeng Wang Xiaoxiao Feng Longbiao Guo Chulong Zhang Elizabeth A.Kellogg Kenneth M.Olsen Lianyang Bai Longjiang Fan | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020,13,9: | 4 |
| 2 | High proton conductivity in metalloring-cluster based metalorganic nanotubes显示文摘Two novel anionic single-walled metal-organic nanotubes(MONTs),[(CH_(3))_(2)NH_(2)][ln(cdc)(thb)].2DMF.9.5H_(2)O(FJU-105)and[(CH_(3))_(2)NH_(2)][ln(cdc)(H-btc)]-2DMA·11H_(2)O(FJU-106)(H_(2)cdc=9H-carbazole-3,6-dicarboxylic acid,H_(2)thb=2,5-thiophene dicarboxylic acid,H3btc=1,3,5-benzene tricarboxylic acid),are achieved by employing[ln_(6)(cdc)_(6)]^(6+)metalloring cluster with largest diameter as the secondary building blocks(SBUs).The inner surface of FJU-106 is functionalized by uncoordinated-COOH groups of the H-btc linkers, leading to a higher proton conduction than FJU-105.At 70℃,FJU-106 displays the proton conduction performances among MONTs,up to 1.80×10^(-2)S·cm(^-1).And FJU-105 and FJU-106 are the first examples of MONT proton conductors operating at subzero temperature. | Quanjie Lin Yingxiang Ye Lizhen Liu Zizhu Yao Ziyin Li Lihua Wang Chulong Liu Zhangjing Zhang Shengchang Xiang | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,2: | 2 |
| 3 | Dual-functional hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks for aniline and ultraviolet sensitive detection显示文摘A novel hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks(HOFs)FJU-200 has been constructed from N,N’-bis(5-isophthalic acid)naphthalimide(H_(4)L).FJU-200 has a good dual-function of aniline and ultraviolet detection.FJU-200 is the first case of HOF with dual sensing of visual color changes and photoluminescence quenching for aniline detection, and the detection limit of aniline can reach5.5 x 10^(-4)mol/L.Under ultraviolet FJU-200 will rapidly change from light yellow to rustic brown, which makes it possible to use FJU-200 to achieve minute-level ultraviolet detection. Moreover, for more convenient use,FJU-200 test papers are prepared.Using them, convenient and fast aniline or ultraviolet detection can be realized. The single-crystal X-ray structures show that compared with the original FJU-200,both PhNH_(2)@FJU-200 and UV-FJU-200 have larger pore sizes, and the dihedral angles of the H_(2)L^(2-)in framework has been changed. | Zhijun Ke Kexin Chen Zhenzhen Li Jie Huang Zizhu Yao Wen Dai Xiaofan Wang Chulong Liu Shengchang Xiang Zhangjing Zhang | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,10: | 0 |
| 4 | Amidinium sulfonate hydrogen-bonded organic framework with fluorescence amplification function for sensitive aniline detection显示文摘Although the construction of specific functional crystalline materials is still challenging, the multi-component molecular assembly has become a key solution for the design of functional materials. Here,we report a hydrogen-bonded organic framework(HOF)material FJU-360 constructed from disodium 6‑hydroxy-5-[(4-sulfophenyl)azo]-2-naphthalenesulfonate(SSY)and terephthalimidamide. The charge-assisted hydrogen bonding between amidinium and sulfonate makes FJU-360 produce much stronger fluorescence than SSY,and can be used as a luminescence sensor to rapidly quench aniline through luminescence quenching.FJU-360 is sensitive and highly selective for the detection of aniline, and the detection limit reached 3.2 nmol/L,which is the lowest value reported currently. The mechanism of aniline response was analyzed through the aniline@FJU-360 single crystal structure, and the luminescence mechanism was clarified through density function theory calculations. This work is an important step towards the rational synthesis and assembly of sensing materials. | Zhiwen Fan Shihe Zheng Hao Zhang Kexin Chen Yunbin Li Chulong Liu Shengchang Xiang Zhangjing Zhang | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,9: | 0 |
