2Characteristics and origin of abnormally high porosity zones in buried Paleogene clastic reservoirs in the Shengtuo area, Dongying Sag, East China显示文摘There are three abnormally high porosity zones developed in buried Paleogene nearshore subaqueous fan and sublacustrine fan clastic reservoirs at 2,800-3,200 m, 3,250-3,700 m and 3,900-4,400 m, respectively, within the Shengtuo area of the Dongying Sag. Here the porosity of reservoirs buried deeper than 4,000 m can still be greater than 20%. Investigation of these three abnormally high porosity(AHP) zones in the 3rd to 4th member of the Paleogene Shahejie Formation in the Shengtuo area was carried out with utilization of core observation, thin section identification, SEM observation, image analysis, core physical property testing and other technical methods. The results show that, the AHP zones in 2,800-3,200 m and 3,250-3,700 m are visible pores primary AHP zones dominated by significant primary intergranular pores(more than 50% of the total porosity), while secondary pores and micropores in authigenic clays may develop in some reservoirs. AHP reservoirs in the AHP zone of 3,900-4,400 m are dominated by micropores in matrix, visible pores are mainly grain dissolution pores but with low absolute content(< 1%), so this zone belongs to the micropores primary AHP zone. The genesis of the three AHP zones was studied to distinguish between porosity enhancement and porosity preservation. Our research shows that, in deeply buried clastic reservoirs in the Shengtuo area, mineral dissolution occurred in a relatively closed diagenetic system with high temperature and high salinity. Reservoir rocks underwent extensive feldspar dissolution, while detrital carbonate grains and carbonate cements show no evidence of extensive dissolution. Although significant feldspar dissolution pores developed, feldspar dissolution enhanced porosity only a little due to the precipitation of almost isovolumetric dissolution products in the nearby primary intergranular pores in forms of authigenic clays and quartz cements. Net enhanced porosity originating from feldspar dissolution is generally less than 0.25%. Thus, the subsurface dissolution has little impact on the mid-deep buried high porosity reservoirs. Reservoirs in braided channels of middle fans in sublacustrine fans and reservoirs in the middle-front of fan bodies of nearshore subaqueous fans provide the basis for the development of AHP zones. The shallow development of fluid overpressure and early hydrocarbon emplacement have effectively retarded compaction and carbonate cementation, so that the high porosity in the superficial layers is preserved in the mid-deep layers. 3Palaeogeomorphology and its control on the development of sequence stratigraphy and depositional systems of the Early Silurian in the Tarim Basin显示文摘The Silurian in the Tarim Basin was deposited on the basement deformed by the Caledonian tectonic movements at the end of the Late Ordovician. The development and distribution of sedimentary sequences of the Early Silurian have been clearly controlled by the palaeogeomorphology of the Late Ordovician. Based on unconformity characteristics and distribution of erosion, several zones can be differentiated including a high uplifted erosion zone, a transitional slope zone and a depression zone. The central and west Tabei Uplift zones show high angular unconformity and intense erosion. The Tarim Basin in the late Ordovician shows characteristics of higher in the west, lower in the east while higher in the south, lower in the north. The Early Silurian mainly developed transgressive and highstand systems tracts on the whole, while the lowstand systems tract only developed partly below the slope break. The palaeogeomorphology controlled the clastic source supply and deposit distribution. Braided delta system and tidal flat–estuary system were deposited. The duration of uplifting of the Tazhong paleouplift was longer than that of the Tabei paleo-uplift, and deposition was later. This led to the lower and middle members of the Kepingtage Formation missing in that area. As a large-scale transgression occurred during the deposition period of the upper member of the Kepingtage Formation, sediment from the west of the basin was transported and deposited by tides and waves, forming tidal–marine debris systems above the uplift. Proximal alluvial fan and fan delta coarse clastic deposits developed in proximal uplift zone in the east and southeast of the basin, and braided delta put forward to the transitional zone between the edge of uplift and the sea. Large-scale tidal channel, sub-distributary channel and mouth bar of the delta front can form favorable reservoirs, and they are primary targets for oil and gas exploration. 5Observations of atmospheric pollutants at Lhasa during 2014-2015:Pollution status and the influence of meteorological factors显示文摘Atmospheric pollutants including SO_2, NO_2, CO, O_3 and inhalable particulate matter(PM2.5 and PM10) were monitored continuously from March 2014 to February 2015 to investigate characteristics of air pollution at Lhasa, Tibetan Plateau. Species exhibited similar seasonal variations except O_3, with the peaks in winter but low valleys in summer. The maximum O_3 concentration was observed in spring, followed by summer, autumn, and winter. The positive correlation between O_3 and PM10 in spring indicated similar sources of them, and was assumed to be turbulent transport. Temperature was the dominant meteorological factor for most species in spring. High temperature accelerates O_3 photochemistry, and favors air disturbance which is conductive to dust resuspension in spring. Relative humidity(RH) and atmospheric pressure were the main meteorological factors in summer. RH showed negative correlations with species, while atmospheric pressure posed opposite situation. Wind speed(WS) was the dominant meteorological factor in autumn, the negative correlations between WS and species indicated diffusion by wind. Most species showed non-significant correlations with meteorological factors in winter, indicating the dependence of pollution on source emission rather than restriction by meteorology. Pollution weather character indicated that emissions were from biomass burning and dust suspension, and meteorological factors also played an important role. Air stream injection from the stratosphere was observed during O_3 pollution period. Air parcels from Southwest Asia were observed during air pollution period in winter. 6A 2-kb Mycovirus Converts a Pathogenic Fungus into a Beneficial Endophyte for Brassica Protection and Yield Enhancement显示文摘Mycoviruses are viruses that infect fungi,and hypovirulence-associated mycoviruses have the potential to control fungal diseases.However,it is unclear how mycovirus-mediated hypovirulent strains live and survive in the field,and no mycovirus has been applied for field crop protection.In this study,we found that a previously identified small DNA mycovirus(SsHADV-1)can convert its host,Sclerotinia sclerotiorum,from a typical necrotrophic pathogen to a beneficial endophytic fungus.SsHADV-1 downregulates the expression of key pathogenicity factor genes in S.sclerotiorum during infection.When growing in rapeseed,the SsHADV-1-infected strain DT-8 significantly regulates the expression of rapeseed genes involved in defense,hormone signaling,and circadian rhythm pathways.As a result,plant growth is promoted and disease resistance is enhanced.Field experiments showed that spraying DT-8 at the early flowering stage can reduce the disease severity of rapeseed stem rot by 67.6%and improve yield by 14.9%.Moreover,we discovered that SsHADV-1 could also infect other S.sclerotiorum strains on DT-8-inoculated plants and that DT-8 could be recovered from dead plants.These findings suggest that the mycoviruses may have the ability to shape the origin of endophytism.Our discoveries suggest that mycoviruses may influence the origin of endophytism and may also offer a novel strategy for disease control in which mycovirus-infected strains are used to improve crop health and release mycoviruses into the field.Hongxiang Zhang Jiatao Xie Yanping Fu Jiasen Cheng Zheng Qu Zhenzhen Zhao Shufen Cheng Tao Chen Bo Li Qianqian Wang Xinqiang Liu Binnian Tian David B.Collinge Daohong Jiang 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,10:9

8Separation and Precise Measurement of Lithium Isotopes in Three Reference Materials Using Multi Collector-Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry显示文摘Lithium separation technique for three reference materials has been established together with precise determination of lithium isotope using a Neptune multi collector-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (MC-ICP-MS). The solutions of lithium element standard reference materials, potassium, calcium, sodium, magnesium and iron single element, were used to evaluate analytical methods applied. Three separate stages of ion-exchange chromatography were carried out using organic cation-exchange resin (AG 50W-X8). Lithium was enriched for the three stages using different eluants, which are 2.8 M HCl, 0.15 M HCl and 0.5 M HCl in 30% ethanol, respectively. The columns for the first and second stages are made of polypropylene, and those for the third stage are made of quartz. Total reagent volume for the entire chemical process was 35 mL for three reference materials. The recovery yielded for the three stages is 98.9-101.2% with an average of 100.0%, 97.6- 101.9% with an average of 99.9%, and 99.8-103.3% with an average of 100.6%, respectively. The precision of this technique is conservatively estimated to be ±0.72-1.04‰ (2σ population), which is similar to the precision obtained by different authors in different laboratories with MC-ICP-MS. The δ 7 Li values ( 7 Li/ 6 Li relative to the IRMM-016 standard) determined for andesite (AGV-2) and basalt (BHVO-2) are 5.68‰ (n=18), 4.33‰ (n=18), respectively. The δ 7 Li value ( 7 Li/ 6 Li relative to the L-SVEC standard) determined for IRMM-016 is -0.01‰ (n=15). All these analytical results are in good agreement with those previously reported. In addition, the results for the same kinds of samples analyzed at the MLR Key Laboratory of Metallogeny and Mineral Assessment, Institute of Mineral Resources, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, are consistent with those obtained at the Plasma Laboratory, University of Maryland, within analytical uncertainty. 9Synergistic effects of elevated homocysteine level and abnormal blood lipids on the onset of stroke显示文摘Hyperhomocysteinemia and abnormal blood lipids are independent risk factors for stroke.However,whether both factors exert a synergistic effect in the onset of stroke remains unclear.The present study is a retrospective analysis of 2 089 cases of stroke and 2 089 control cases of simple intervertebral disk protrusion using a paired multivariate logistic regression method.Adjusting for known confounding variables including the patients’age,gender,smoking status,alcohol consumption status,patient and family medical history,and clinical biochemical indices,elevated homocysteine level was related to the onset of stroke.Patients with elevated homocysteine levels and abnormal blood lipids showed a 40.9%increase in the risk for stroke compared to patients with normal homocysteine levels and blood lipids(odds ratio 1.409;95%confidence interval1.127–1.761).These results indicate that elevated homocysteine and abnormal blood lipids exert synergistic effects in the onset of stroke.Patients with elevated homocysteine levels and abnormal blood lipids are predisposed to stroke.Lu Hao Liming Chen Xiaoyong Sai Zhefeng Liu Guang Yang Rongzeng Yan Lili Wang Caiyun Fu Xuan Xu Zhenzhen Cheng Qiang Wu Shuzhang Li 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,31:9
10Laser Ablation ICP-MS U-Pb Zircon Geochronology of Granitoids and Quartz Veins in the Shihu Gold Mine, Taihang Orogen, North China: Timing of Gold-mineralization and Tectonic Implications显示文摘The Shihu gold deposit, situated in the Taihang Mesozoic orogen of the North China Craton (NCC), is hosted by ductile-brittle faults within Archean metamorphic core complex. The deposit is characterized by gold-bearing quartz-polymetallic sulfides veins. The Mapeng granitoids stock and intermediate-basic dikes intruded the metamorphic basement rocks, and are spatially related to gold mineralization. Detailed laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA ICP-MS) U- Pb zircon ages of the granitic rocks, dykes and mineralized quartz veins in the studied area reveal its magmatic and mineralized history. The mineralized quartz veins contain inherited zircons with ages of about 2.55 Ga and 1.84 Ga, probably coming from the basement. These two Precambrian events are coeval with those in other parts of the NCC. The Mapeng granitoid stock, the largest intrusion in the area, was emplaced at ca. 130 Ma, and is coeval with magmatic zircon populations from diorites and quartz diorite pophyrites in the same region. The ca. 130 Ma magmatism and gold mineralization were most likely related to an underplating event that took place in the Taihang orogen at Late Mesozoic. The timing of gold mineralization with respect to felsic magmatism in the area is similar to those observed in other major gold-producing provinces in the NCC. 11Genetic variants in RAN, DICER and HIWI of microRNA biogenesis genes and risk of cervical carcinoma in a Chinese population显示文摘Objective:Recent evidence indicates that dysregulation of microRNA(miRNA)biogenesis is implicated in cancer development and progression.Based on the important role of miRNA biogenesis genes in carcinogenesis,we hypothesized that genetic variations of the miRNA biogenesis genes may modulate susceptibility to cervical cancer.Methods:We identified three single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)located in the 3'-untranslated regions(3'-UTR)of of miRNA biogenesis key genes(rs1057035 in DICER,rs3803012 in RAN and rs10773771 in HIWI)and genotyped these SNPs in a case-control study of 1,486 cervical cancer cases and1,549 cancer-free controls in Chinese women.Results:Logistic regression analyses showed that no significant associations were observed between the three SNPs and cervical cancer risk[rs3803012 in RAN AG/GG vs.AA adjusted OR=1.104,95%confidence interval(CI):0.859-1.419;rs1057035 in DICER CT/CC vs.TT adjusted OR=0.962,95%CI:0.805-1.149;rs10773771 in HIWI CT/CC vs.TT adjusted OR=0.963,95%CI:0.826-1.122].Conclusions:The findings did not suggest that genetic variants in the 3'-UTR of RAN,DICER and HIWI of miRNA biogenesis genes were associated with the risk of cervical cancer in this Chinese population.Jiaping Chen Zhenzhen Qin Shandong Pan Jie Jiang Li Liu Jibin Liu Xiaojun Chen Zhibin Hu Hongbing Shen 2013Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2013,25,5:8
12Activity and hydrothermal stability of CeO_2–ZrO_2–WO_3 for the selective catalytic reduction of NO_x with NH_3显示文摘A series of CeO_2–ZrO_2–WO_3(CZW)catalysts prepared by a hydrothermal synthesis method showed excellent catalytic activity for selective catalytic reduction(SCR)of NO with NH_3 over a wide temperature of 150–550°C.The effect of hydrothermal treatment of CZW catalysts on SCR activity was investigated in the presence of 10% H_2O.The fresh catalyst showed above 90% NO_x conversion at 201–459°C,which is applicable to diesel exhaust NO_x purification(200–440°C).The SCR activity results indicated that hydrothermal aging decreased the SCR activity of CZW at low temperatures(below 300°C),while the activity was notably enhanced at high temperature(above 450°C).The aged CZW catalyst(hydrothermal aging at 700°C for 8 hr)showed almost 80% NO_x conversion at 229–550°C,while the V_2O_5–WO_3/TiO_2 catalyst presented above 80% NO_x conversion at 308–370°C.The effect of structural changes,acidity,and redox properties of CZW on the SCR activity was investigated.The results indicated that the excellent hydrothermal stability of CZW was mainly due to the CeO_2–ZrO_2 solid solution,amorphous WO_3 phase and optimal acidity.In addition,the formation of WO_3 clusters increased in size as the hydrothermal aging temperature increased,resulting in the collapse of structure,which could further affect the acidity and redox properties.Zhongxian Song Ping Ning Qiulin Zhang Hao Li Jinhui Zhang Yancai Wang Xin Liu Zhenzhen Huang 2016Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,4:7
13Resveratrol compares with melatonin in improving in vitro porcine oocyte maturation under heat stress显示文摘Background: Resveratrol, an important phyto-antioxidant commonly found in grapes, mulberry, and other plants,has a variety of functions including anti-aging, anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory activities. In the current study, we investigated the beneficial effects of resveratrol on in vitro porcine oocyte maturation under heat stress(HS). The effect of resveratrol, melatonin and their combination on alleviating HS was compared according to the maturation rate of oocytes and the development competence of embryos after parthenogenetic activation(PA).Results: Supplementation with resveratrol(2.0 μmol/L) not only improved the nuclear maturation but also raised the blastocyst rate of porcine embryos' PA from oocytes that underwent HS by increasing their glutathione(GSH)level, reducing reactive oxygen species(ROS) and up-regulating the expression of Sirtuin 1(SIRT1). It was also found that melatonin(10^(-7)mol/L) and the combination of resveratrol(2.0 μmol/L) plus melatonin(10^(-7)mol/L) exhibited more potent effects than resveratrol alone regarding their protective activities on oocyte maturation under HS.Conclusions: This study compared the efficiencies of resveratrol, melatonin and their combination for protecting porcine oocytes from heat stress. 14Effects of advanced oxidation pretreatment on residual aluminum control in high humic acid water purification显示文摘Due to the formation of disinfection by-products and high concentrations of Al residue in drinking water purification, humic substances are a major component of organic matter in natural waters and have therefore received a great deal of attention in recent years. We investigated the effects of advanced oxidation pretreatment methods usually applied for removing dissolved organic matters on residual Al control. Results showed that the presence of humic acid increased residual Al concentration notably. With 15 mg/L of humic acid in raw water, the concentrations of soluble aluminum and total aluminum in the treated water were close to the quantity of Al addition. After increasing coagulant dosage from 12 to 120 mg/L, the total-Al in the treated water was controlled to below 0.2 mg/L. Purification systems with ozonation, chlorination, or potassium permanganate oxidation pretreatment units had little effects on residual Al control; while UV radiation decreased Al concentration notably. Combined with ozonation, the effects of UV radiation were enhanced. Optimal dosages were 0.5 mg O 3 /mg C and 3 hr for raw water with 15 mg/L of humic acid. Under UV light radiation, the combined forces or bonds that existed among humic acid molecules were destroyed; adsorption sites increased positively with radiation time, which promoted adsorption of humic acid onto polymeric aluminum and Al(OH) 3 (s). 16Biomechanical properties of acellular sciatic nerves treated with a modified chemical method显示文摘Nerve grafts are able to adapt to surrounding biomechanical environments if the nerve graft itself exhibits appropriate biomechanical properties (load, elastic modulus, etc.). The present study was designed to determine the differences in biomechanical properties between fresh and chemically acellularized sciatic nerve grafts. Two different chemical methods were used to establish acellular nerve grafts. The nerve was chemically extracted in the Sondell method with a combination of Triton X-100 (nonionic detergent) and sodium deoxycholate (anionic detergent), and in the modified method with a combination of Triton X-200 (anionic detergent), sulfobetaine-10 (SB-10, amphoteric detergents), and sulfobetaine-16 (SB-16, amphoteric detergents). Following acellularization, hematoxylin-eosin staining and scanning electron microscopy demonstrated that the effect of acellularization via the modified method was similar to the traditional Sondell method. However, effects of demyelination and nerve fiber tube integrity were superior to the traditional Sondell method. Biomechanical testing showed that peripheral nerve graft treated using the chemical method resulted in decreased biomechanical properties (ultimate load, ultimate stress, ultimate strain, and mechanical work to fracture) compared with fresh nerves, but the differences had no statistical significance (P > 0.05). These results demonstrated no significant effect on biomechanical properties of nerves treated using the chemical method. With Cu(OTf)2 as the catalyst, the reaction of unactivated alkenes, TMSCF3 and activated alkyl chlorides at room temperature provides the corresponding carbotrifluoromethylation products in satisfactory yields. 20Laser probe ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar dating for quartz from auriferous quartz veins in the Shihu gold deposit,western Hebei Province,North China显示文摘The Shihu gold deposit is situated in the central shear zone of the Meso-Cenozoic Fuping metamorphic core complex in the middle-northern part of the Taihang Mountains.This kind of gold deposits named after 'Shihu type' widely occurs in this region.Gold-bearing quartz veins are their most important industrial orebodies.Detailed laser 40Ar/39Ar geochronology of the mineralized quartz veins in the study area reveals details of its tectono-magmatic history.The 40Ar/39Ar ages for the quartz are between 134.4 Ma and 155.9 Ma with a mean age of 141±4 Ma on the isochron line and 139±7 Ma on the inverse isochron line,respectively,which is interpreted to be the best estimate of the crystalline age of the quartz veins.The gold mineralization was most likely related to an underplating event that took place in the northern part of the Taihang Mountain at ca.140 Ma.The timing of gold mineralization in the area is similar to those observed in other major gold-producing provinces in the NCC.This episode is simultaneous with those in the eastern NCC,indicative of a widespread late Yanshanian metallogenic event that was a response either to the subduction of the Izanagi-Pacific plate beneath eastern China or to the removal of the Early Cretaceous lithosphere in the eastern NCC.The ore-forming material sources may be the Early Precambrian metamorphic basement,instead of intermediate-acid rock bodies and dykes.CAO Ye LI Shengrong ZHANG Huafeng AO Chong LI Zhenzhen LIU Xiaobin 2010Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2010,29,4:5
